I play since 2018, Im a huge fan of dbd, I got a discord server with friends just to play dbd together. At a point we reached so many players. We used to play EVERY night at dbd. Now we only play for rifts and events. But we get bored and some of us start to stop playing the game even for the rift, they dont care anymore. Im playing dbd since 2018 and I think this year will be my favorite. For the anniversary we got a very interesting new killer. I like playing as and against him. He looks very scary and thats what was missing in dbd sometimes. The new Artist skin follow this direction and Im happy with it. Then patch 6.1 was released. I really like the perks changes. It feels like a nerf. Im a MoM enjoyer and I think the perk was perfect as it was, it was just hard to activate but not impossible. Sometimes I could activate it 2 or 3 times in a match. Now it will became useless. What was good about old MoM it was not a endurance statut, this change is bad with new endurance system. And now it can deactivate if you touch a gen ? Reverse pallet stun was my favorite tech before they patched it so the killer is not stun while reverse pallet. But Im so used to do it sometimes I just do it and it was very bad for me since they cancelled it lol Since last patch I can reverse pallet stun again, and Ive done many times. Is it intended ? First of all, thank you devs for buffing SoloQ. BT basekit is a great change for the game. And it help a looooot against tunneling killers in soloQ. Off the record rework is amazing, I was always worried in soloQ "Does he have BT ??" "Will he takes a protection hit for me ???" Im a survivor main, playing killer sometimes. Im playing since 2018. I think the game has never been fair like this patch. The changes are good. The new meta is way more interesting, less frustrating and more skillful. Thank you devs for listening to us. I cant wait to see whats coming next. Its been weeks since they are bugged and nothing said by the devs. I use my power, hit a survivor, hear them scream. Then my power is cancelled and they are healthy. It happened almost every games and my other killers are not bugged. At the beginning I though it was my internet connexion but its not. I cant play one of my favorite killer since the rework. Both sides I only play underrated perks and fun builds I cant wait to see the meta perks nerf. Every games I see players getting rewarded by second chance perks even if they play very bad. The actual meta dont reward good play. I love seeing player getting bait by my underrated perks, nobody expect it and it makes the game more skilled and fun. This combo is one of my favorite. I dont know how its not meta, its very strong except against few killers like Plague and Legion. With my friends we tried to create a strong combo with these perks and 4 players. We have tried so many perks and I want to share it with you and want your advice if you have tried this combo too. Dont get me wrong Im not speaking survivor side. Im speaking as a killer in this discussion. I had so many games when the survivors forced me to camp or tunnel. For example I hook a survivor. I dont have the time to kick the generator or the pallet near the hook and leaving it, that all the team is already here for the save and they call me camper in endgame chat. Can we talk about how beautiful this charm is ? Charlotte and Victor dont have pretty cosmetics but this charm should be one for sure. For some people charms are useless. But I love them. When I play survivor my fps is good and my screen is fluid, its a pleasure to play. But when I play killer its very laggy and my screen froze when I try to M1 or m2. Is it just me ? Or killer side is poor optimized these last updates ? I dont understand because survivor side works really fine. Anybody has an explanation ? To be clear, Im gay in real life and the collaboration with GaymerX (is that the right name ??) is a disappointement. David King is nothing representative of the gay community. And doing what JK Rowling did with Dumbledor is just so easy and fake. I was really excited when Behaviour said they were collaborating with GaymerX to CREATE the first gay character for dbd. You cant imagine.. It was one of my top 3 maps with Silent Hill and Raccoon City. Im so sad we cant play on it anymore. Yesterday I watched a dbd YouTube video and one of the games was on Hawkins. I knew I missed this map, but I forgot how this map was amazing. The atmosphere in this complex was very nice. It feels like we are in a real horror movie. Thank you devs for this chapter. The killer is very scary, the chase music is stressful I love it. Sadako is very easy to play. It feels good compare to some killers who are unplayable. The new perks are very interesting and game changing, its very nice. The meta is still the same but I like the fact devs gave us new very good perks the last 3 chapters. Since the Boil Over buff I love using it with Flip Flop. Its a really strong combo and I know Im not the only to enjoy it. Thank you Behaviour, really nice buff. But. Some people (including me) were abusing the Boil Over buff in some area like Library in Racoon City. Behaviour added some hooks in some maps in these specific area. Its been months since this killer has been nerfed to the ground. They are unplayable right now. You cant use your power where and when you want, Victor hitboxe is bugged he jump through survivors but dont hit them lol. I used to like this killer before the nerf and the bugs. Now its unplayable. Im a big fan of this perk, it already saved my life so many times. I remember a Freddy so afraid of picking me up, he though someone was pallet saving me, it was my Power Struggle haha I like to use Smash Hit, Unbreakable, Flip Flop and Power Struggle. We definely need a game mode without SBMM. Devs said in the future patch, the less you play the game, more you loose MMR. Its completly absurd and Im worried for the future of the game. They sold us a real SBMM but its more like Matchmaking based on frequency of playing now. SBMM is already broken since release. I dont enjoy the game as I used. When the devs said last year they wanted to focus on Halloween and Anniversary events only I was so disappointed. But since the Bone Chill event I think the devs got a lot of surprises for us. I loved playing Nemesis, he is fun. But against high mmr survivors its a nightmare. Against average survivors I had no problems getting tentacle hits and getting my mutation. Sometimes it was harder but it was possible. I think I tryharded too much my Nemesis and I got matches that are too difficult for me. Its almost only swf with BNP. But its not my main issue. Since yesterday I tried the new Plague, and I think I found my new killer. Before the buff I was struggling infecting good survivors, now with the Prayer Tablet brown addon this problem is solve. Sometimes I though it was hard to have a good map pressure, now I can control everything on the map. I played maybe 10 or 20 games and I only lost one. Im survivor main but I play both side recently. At first when I played killer I tried to do my best and kill all of them. Since the SBMM I just want to chill and play for fun. When are we getting these maps graphical updates and size reworks ? Did the devs said something about it ? Why it takes too long ? Haddonfield is one of the most hated map on this game, everybody agree about a rework. Everybody knows Red Forest has the biggest maps of the game. Its very hard for killers with no mobility. Yes killers got maps rework with less pallets, the hatch nerf. But its not enough. Now that survivors concerns are settle, we need to adress killers ones. Im not speaking about map size or genspeed who are not a killer problem but a map design problem. Killers need to be stronger. We need a basekit rework for almost all killers. Surge, Blood Echos, Thanatophobia and.... Blood Favor Im unstoppable right now. Blood Favor carry me early game, 2 or 3 hooks before first generator done. Survivors are afraid and dont understand what happen at the beginning. Then my totem is cleansed during first 3 minutes of the game, I have hooks and 0 gen done. Three games in a row, BNP every game, SWF very coordinate on generators. End chases quick is not enough, camping/tunnel/slug all I try is useless against this addon in the right hands. I met my second cheater. The first was years ago, a Dwight who went under the map to unhook people. After a month of playing almost everyday, with the new matchmaking system I made a conclusion. SBMM favor survivors. Every games are the same. When I play survivor its so easy, everybody rush the generators, the killer is not at the same level as the survivors in my team. Its almost 4 escape in every match unless the killer camp or tunnel. I stunned a killer with Head On and he immediatly recover from the stun and hit me. At the end of the game I saw he used Enduring. Is this a new change ?
