I would agree on that one. Blight, Twins and Trickster all came without a Map, but for all of them, it does not really hurt. Like, you can stretch a Map that might fix for Blight or Twins, but it will not really fit. Like, Deathslinger without a Western-styled Map would have been strange, basically you can look at most of the Killers and see what Map they fit with a general idea how it can look. But that does not apply to Blight or Twins.
For Trickster, I think a bright Neon-Map would look really strange in DBD. And who knows how much it can affect the performance on some older systems. What they could have done would have been a multi-floor building connected to The Tricksters lore where his former band members burned. But that is also quite stretched.
So it seems like BHVR has pulled out the Killers who dont really need a map to fit in.
@Topic:
There were Maps to be reworked for this Chapter, those will come at a later point. It might be possible that they manage to rework all Maps before the Anniversary, meaning that this will most likely be a chapter with a new Map.
How can you say Deathslinger without western map is strange but Twins without french map is not ? Its not because you dont know well french culture that the Twins dont deserve a new map and Deathslinger can get one.
The real problem is graphical update, making new content with old content. Behaviour is not the first studio to do it, and its very bad when it take us real new content.
A video game compagny should do both.
Im a big fan of dbd but since Blight im quite disappointed of their commercial strategy with maps.

Stop to thinking now, the Twins would be perfect for a gothic map, so,yeah... but Blight and Trickster don't

I can see a way more"this is not horror anymore" threads . Also, how a neon street or a techno beat factory have to do with his lore? He's a idol, not a christmas Tree
Im asking you one question : why dont you want new maps ?
-
Im so sad they prefer making new content with old content instead of doing both...
They could have do the graphical update in mid chapters and new maps at killers releases....
It would have take more time, but i dont think they really understand that we are exhausted of the same maps again and again, in June it will be one year without new map.

Did you all see the main menu? A map with that theme, would've been so epic.
Yes... they could have skipped a graphical update for that map, just one time....

I can't imagine a neon or studio map with a lot of pallest and space to jump trought, so I see their point.
Twins and Blight are too specific lore killers to have a map
I can imagine a street with lights and neons.
They are too specific ? How ? I can imagine a pustulas map and an old french town, easy to imagine.

But that doesn't mean that they will do it right now.
But I've been seeing threads and threads on why the new survivor will be lgbt+ but no one has said why they think it will be like that.
Look at dbd twitter, they shared a picture, some people thinks its a drag queen.

So forgive me for being ignorant.
I'm not familiar with lgbt+ stuff.
How come everyone is saying that the killer or survivor will be a lgbt+ I am confused.
Because the devs said many times they want to make one.

I can imagine a LGBT killer inspired from the Rocky Horror Picture Show it would be awesome :)

When all maps will be updated Zanshin Tactics and Alert will be very good, im really waiting for it.

The exhausted addon needed to be removed. 30 second on an effect that remains when you're running? Fully negating any an entire perk slot on a survivor? That's simply broken.
As for the yellow gas, you're supposed to throw the bottle ahead of you in chase. You throw it in front of the survivor so the survivor doesnt get the bonus as they have to run away from you, then you throw a pink bottle towards the survivor. Now you have 10% extra movement speed while the survivor has -20% movement speed. That's 80% movementspeed vs 125%. You realize how easy it is to gain hits with Clown in this situation?
As for the "maybe who dont play killer at all tried to tell me to just use pink bottle and pouf ! Old clown is back. Dont speak if you dont know anything, its useless, like your comments."
I mean, this is 100% true. You even have a base pink addon. The ONLY thing gone from old clown is the exhaustion addon, and that one needed a rework anyway. The exhaustion addon from Clown was made back when exhaustion went down even if you were running. Then they made exhaustion permanent as long as you were running, causing this addon to be utterly broken(which is why later exhaustion addons and perks are only 3-8 seconds).
If you dont see how just using pink bottles is exactly how old Clown worked except with a base reload addon, then you simply didnt play Clown enough(or heavily relied on his exhaustion addon, which, again, you didnt really play clown if you did).
I like how you all tell me about that addon when in the original post i spoke about three addons....

Nobody's hating on you, I've looked through the responses and all but bar one cone across as "rude." Please point out anywhere in my original post (I was rude in my responses yes but you get what you give buckaroo) where I was "Rude" or a jerk. And yes you're condescending you treat the responses that challenge your view as "Trolls" not exactly the work of a Saint.
The only way is to improve yourself. Nobody on the forums can tell you what you're doing wrong unless we've actually gone against you. I'll level with you, I'm not trying to call you bad, but besides what you've stated with the yellow gas I have no idea how you play. You might not be pressuring enough gens, or ending your chases quick enough(This one being completely fair, the rework JUST came out, nobody's going to pick uo the ability and master it immediately, even those that played clown before hand will have to implement this new ability in to there style)
I personally recommend you record then watch back your matches, when I was a green rank I too would vs Nothing but red rank sweat squads. Look at what they're doing, why did it work? What could you do/have done to prevent it? Did you stay on thrm too long? Or fail to utalise your power? Example to the last one threw a bottle too high as Clown. Only you can find the answer.
But it is good, 8 hours yesterday, 4 this morning and I'm about to hop back on now, 4ks all day bar afew games and I'm still rank 1 killer(fell two pips but got them back immediately, also lost afew games but won again immediately after, as I fixed what I did wrong with recordings, see earlier response about recordings) and everyone else that's even glanced at the new ability is saying "Yeah diss good" who do you think people will believe? Someone with hours on this killer or someone that dosent understand the full potential of the ability(no offense)
I'm rank 1 survivor too, your point? And you don't struggle vs new clown?! Excellent but playing Clown and beating Clown are two different things. I don't want to say I doubt you but I can't find a good reason to support the contrary.
If your Clown can't beat your survivor like I said then that unfortunately dosent hold much water. As you've admitted yourself you're not the best Clown. Again I'm not ragging on you, but you yourself said you're not that good with his new ability. So it's pointless to say "I don't need to play Clown because I can best him as Survivor"
I'll end this with a question. What happens when it all kicks in? What when people learn new plays with Clowns new ability and get better? Then what? Will you still be able to beat him? Are you 100% sure?
I will try to explain how I play.
I like to call me a fair killer. I dont camp, dont tunnel, but i like to slug.
I prefer losing a generator than leaving a chase I can win. Reason to do that ? Im still practicing some loops as killer. But I know when I have to leave.
Im not a perfect anti looper as killer but I have some mindgames. If each killer had a separate rank I would call me a rank 5-6 Clown.
But I dont like to use meta perks, I like to try fun builds, so I dont a have a good gen pressure... I only win because I kill them quicker than them doing gens. But sometimes, when they are red ranks.... they know every mindgames in loops and I dont feel yellow gas is helping, it feels like a waste of a pink bottle. I can mindgame their mindgame of my mindgame, but i cant mindgame their mindgame of my mindgame of their mindgame of my mindgame.
Know is it more clear haha ?

You tell me Dr condescending😜 I'm kidding sort of but yes they were rank 1's and were pretty good in chases, I definitely learned a thing or two from then and it was genuinely a fun match. I definitely would have lost if they werent being over altruistic. But yes they were decent players, and yourself? How's the new clown going for you? Still think he's terrible? Do share I'd like to know if your opinion is the same or not from yesterday
Sorry if im condescending but the argument "get gud" make me angry ^^
Im not a homme right now but with the new rift coming I will try more the yellow gas. I think it could be good with addons, but without im not sure..

You're kind of being hypocritical here, you say yellow gas is useless when others have already pointed out it works very well on the new clown, carrying, moving around the map etc.
I said I wasn't a Clown god yet you're response to me and others that pointed out where Clown can indeed shine were treated like troll responses. You can still have fun with the new clown, old ones still there. Whilst I agree he should have his old exhaust add ons back its really not that big of a deal, unless you can't anticipate a dead hard.
He's abit stronger now btw, but this is day 2 of him going live. I guess only time will tell if he can square up to today's top tier killers ([BAD WORD] Freddy krueger btw)
Im just trying to get tips with a cute post and all I get is hate and "get gud". So yes im condescendant.
Im green rank, i wish I could face survivors of my ranks but all i get is red ranks. So yes its hard for me.
I never said it was impossible to use yellow bottle, just its not that good.
But maybe I will know how to use it perfectly when I will reach rank one, but sorry if im casual killer player.
But im survivor, im rank 1, its so easy for me to loop new clowns, and they are red ranks.
So I guess even im getting better at clown, I cannot beat myself as survivor.
You know what I mean ?

Don't play him at all huh? Well I've managed to keep my rank 1 all of yesterday and even this morning against nothing but Red rank survivors. But sure you can believe I dont play the Killer at all, like I said I'm not the best but I'm still trying to help. I'll respond to your further questions, if you don't think I'm helpful though then save us both the time alright?
You're completely forgetting the reason clown was Low-tier to mid at best, He was excellent in chases, still is, but he had no map pressure. This speed bottle is supposed to help him achieve this, its not as good as Billy's sure, but it can still help help him keep up with survivors much better than before.
"Why use a yellow antidote if you can slow people down with a pink one"
Why name your post "I miss old Clown" if you knew nothing about him? He couldn't keep up due to a lack of moving quickly around the map, to answer in terms of a chase, antidote is still useful, provided you use it correctly, which I honestly think you can't be bothered to learn. If the survivors are getting the antidotes effect then that's not how your supposed to play Clown. Try being creative with your throws
As with the argument "run to another loop" you mean unique pathing? That's always been and always will be a counter to the Clown, chaining loops is sort of the point of survivors gameplay unless you want to argue against that for the sake of it?,
I'll bite, don't waste your bottles, even if they run to another loop you still get the speed boost, with 2 bottles bottles left, depending on the loop you can mind game or use the remaining bottles to secure a hit.
"Only way to catch a good survivor is to fake reloading bottles"
That works sometimes but wouldn't a "Good survivor" just keep running in that scenario? Think about it, you're slowed down so they can keep running, and the best way to catch up is throw an antidote, then throw a second tonic to secure a hit.
Survivor running? Use antidote, trying to loop or run unique patching use the tonic. Or if said scenario is always as bad as you say it is then its a you problem. The last point "Using an antidote is a free save or flashlight save"
Ever seen a flashlight in action? And killer player with an iq over 5 would listen for breathing from a saviour to catch them out. If a killer listens 9/10 of the time a flashlight save won't work. It's called awareness bro. And sabo? Pfft the antidote will ensure you get to another hook just fine. I just faced a Sabo squad with breakout and resiliencesabotour, they didn't break out once.
A sabo squad that failed to sabotage hooks ? Are you sure they were good ?lol

No it's not the same
Doctor isn't chasing after you with 5,06m/s movement speed and if the clown is smart and throws his gas ahead of the survivor you can't dodge it. Unless you just decide to not go to the safe zone but then you're screwed also.
I know 10% extra movement speed doesn't seem much but you catch up almost twice as fast as doctor would.
Running away from a loop is suicide in all bit the strongest parts of the maps.
Also something you and op don't seem to grasp is that clown isn't freddy. You don't choose which gas you use in the beginning of the match you have them both.
Yes purple gas on it's own is more usefull then yellow gas but combined you are closing the distance like a wraith with a yellow windstorm would without the need to uncloak
It seems like we are not playing the same game... Yellow gas is not as fast as wraith, its slower, what are you talking about ...
Give a try to new clown then come back to the forums. I mean, more than one or two games...
Or maybe youre still trolling me....

but you didnt mention the most important part and that is you just wasted 2 tonics, if survivor gets to a pallet or a window you just lost whole 2 tonics for nothing and have to reload sooner which again slows you down and you loose all the distance you gained
slow tonic is still much better to use
Thank you

Seriously, the only players missing “old” Clown are the survivors. I’ve had way more DC’s today than ever in my history of playing Clown (and I already got a lot of survivor DC’s before this update). Sure these supposed new hit boxes are probably a reason, but I’d say it’s way more likely that it’s because survivors just really hate going down because it was impossible for them to reach a pallet or vault before I’ve smacked them.
Read the comments, and other posts on the forum, and videos etc, so many clown mains are complaining but you are the only one good at it, good for you, or are you maybe just a troll ?

What i said stems from basic math and playing the clown himself. And i have no trouble putting the yellow gas to use and I'm not a professional streamer and it seems most people that responded to you feeĺ the same.
It really isn't rocket science. Hell the bottles aren't even out for a day and you said yourself you don't play much.
How long did you try before running to the forums? A game? 2 games?
Have you even put any effort at all?

That’s only if Clown is dumb enough to continue running towards an antidote that takes him FURTHER away from the survivor.
The whole point of Clowns power is to control the chase. If a survivor changes direction, Clown is doing his job properly.
Yes you can, and waste one bottle.
@TheClownIsKing said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1932955#Comment_1932955
Also if a survivor decides to run to another loop, Clown can still simply chase after them by running through the Antidote still. It’s a GOOD thing if Clown frightens Survivors away from loops.
Again, you waste another bottle.
Then you have to reload and waste time again and again....
The only way to catch a good survivor is to fake reloading bottles, and hit them when they ran away. But wow, what a gameplay to fake a useless power to catch them 😂
You know im just asking for a yellow bottle buff dude..

Explain how it only works against brain less survivors?
If I’ve thrown an antidote they get no effect from because I’m still closing distance on them, meaning it’s stupid for them to wait there till it’s active just so they can get a speed boost, only to take a hit instead because I would have already closed that distance by then, AND if they’re then at a loop that leaves them no other options than to either run through Tonic gas or turn around and run back towards me while I’m already Invigorated, how is that them being brainless when I’M THE ONE that’s taken away their options, and running towards loops is the ONLY option survivors have?
The time it takes for you to throw the bottle, the speed to activate the survivor is far away from you.
Yes I know you can throw the bottle in right distance, had the good timing and get the speed. But the survivor can just change direction... in your scenario the survivor is dumb and ran straight away 😂
I mean, this bottle can be effective only in a jungle gym or around a pallet, but the survivor can anticipate and ran to another loop. Or maybe in your scenario the survivor is dumb enough to loop a clown in a dead zone with one unsafe pallet ? Sorry but around the shack there is always one or two jungle gyms. Its enough to loop you easy. But maybe in your scenario the survivor ran only in one jungle gym, running around the same pallet over and over 🤷♂️
Or maybe should I suggest you a video "how to loop as survivor?"

They haven’t gutted his add ons at all. They’ve been significantly improved, with a handful that require thoughtful, strategic use.
He doesn’t need Solvent Jug to exhaust survivors anymore. It doesn’t matter if a survivor uses their exhaustion perks. If Clown has successfully, cleverly intoxicated a survivor and Invigorated himself, that survivor isn’t avoiding a hit even if they Dead Hard or Sprint Burst. With this new strategy in mind, Solvent Jug was BUFFED.
Again, it only works against brainless survivors 😉

If they run away you are still invigorated and you still have 2/4 slowndown bottles left. They won't reach another safe spot.
You don't need to be a professional to make these bottles good. You do need atleast some effort though.
saying these bottles are bad is like saying nurse is bad cause if you don't play her professionally she sucks
But thats the point dude, Nurse is unplayable 😂 why do you think she is the killer with the least kill rate ? (stats from the devs)
Maybe you dont know how to loop if a clown can kill you idk.

right right, very well, all I can say to that is: wathc some vids of streamers and far more importantly practice yourself, try things.
Ive watched videos and streamers. But its not because a streamer with 6k hours can do it, that everybody can. I dont play 7 hours a day.
The new bottle is just very bad, and you know that streamers can do great with bad things, but not everybody ? Can you understand it ?

Because I dont get the point of using half the power of a killer.
I tried some games using only pink bottles, wow im winning with half the power youpi....

No not a troll, just someone who knows what they are talking about. let's do some math
Clown movement speed in 4,6 m/s ( meters per second), survivors is 4 m/s so you gain distance at 0,6 m/s
Survivors hit by purple gas are slowed to 3.4 m/s so you gain distance at 1.2 m/s . That's twice as fast
Clown invigorated increases his movement speed 10% so it increases to 5,06 m/s meaning you gain distance 1.06 m/s.
Now comes the part that you don't seem to understand. If you throw a yellow bottle at a survivor in the distance, then throw a purple bottle at them while you pass through the yellow cloud. They distance gained jumps to 1,66 m/s.
That's almost 3 times faster then normal. A lot of loops that were completly safe vs clown have become deathtraps. It isn't a case of purple is better then yellow. You have to use them both.
Sorry but this is you not understanding the tonic rather then the tonic being bad.
Watch Dowseys video's of new clown. He shows a couple of times how powerfull this really is
I think you didnt read my other posts.
Loops as deathtraps only works on brainless survivors. Good survivors will just ran away and you lost 2 bottles for nothing.
I watched Dowsey video, and other streamers video, sorry if im not a streamer who play 7hours a day and sorry if im not on Dowsey level of play....
The fact is a professional can make every bad things good. But not every players, but it doesnt mean its good.

I haven't really found a good use for his second bottle yet. It's terrible for map mobility and honestly I find the first toxic bottle much more useful for chases. Maybe we'll figure some use out for it but so far Idk.
The only use i found of it is against brainless survivors. Near a pallet throw one bottle on a side, the other and the other side. But a good survivor will just run to another loop and then you wasted 2 bottles 🙃
Using only pink gas is more effective.
I know some streamers know how to use the yellow gas, but im not on their level, im not professional.
-
@Sonzaishinai said:
I don't understand how people can think the yellow gas is useless.
Yellow gas alone let's you catch up almost twice as fast
If you get invigorated and you can slow down the survivor you catch up almost 3 times as fast
Killer shack is unsafe vs clown now. If you don't insta throw the pallet and clown knows what he's doing he'll always get a hit.
Yellow gas is actually bonkers. I can see post in a month complaining about how clown is boring now and you can't do anything against him in chase
Is this a troll ? Try new clown then speak. The speed is so long to activate for a small speed boost... pink gas still better.

If you don't like the new bottle then don't use it, just take the decreased reload time and play the game.
If the "nerfs" you're talking about is supposed to be the add-ons then you just need to get used to playing without them and be grateful that most of them are still straight positives with no trade offs, I rarely run add-ons on Clown anyways and he's fine.
If you're such an experienced Clown you shouldn't need to rely on add-ons.
Did I say Im a pro player Clown ? Im green rank at killers. Im a survivor main. Clown was the only killer I had fun with, now I feel like I have half a useful power and half a strange useless bottle.. and they took the only addons that making Clown good. He is a weak killer compare to other killers. I was playing him cause he was FUN !

I play plenty of clown and have been doing just fine with him, now that I've gotten over my HUD nausea. Only thing I miss is the exhaustion addon. Otherwise he has a very situational speed boost and needs better timing on his bottle throws. 3 second reload is great, haven't tried all the addons yet but otherwise I think he's better. But each to their own.
I dont get the point of getting a new bottle if its just situational. And there is only one good new addon, and they deleted good ones....

@ImHexyAndINoed said:
I personally don't main the Clown, however I've been playing him all day and I really like this new change to him, I'll do my best to answer the questions in your post but take it with all with Salt OK?,
Question 1: "Why dosent the Antidote activate immediately and why does it even effect survivors?"
This one is actually pretty easy to answer, it's a way to balance out Clown's power. Let's look at this Hypothetically...
Survivors aren't effected by the antidote, it also activates immediately. All Clown has to do is Throw it at his Feet and throw a Tonic at you then boom ez hit. But what if you try and run unique pathing? Well he's got 4 at base bottles, even if you get a good Vault in you won't get away as he can just do the same thing. This isn't even mentioning if he gets you in a dead zone, he can just keep using antidotes for constant speed increases, whilst you have nothing but 1 exhaustion perk which he can just use an antidote to catch up on
That's why the Survivors are effected by the antidote, remember clown is a strategic killer. If you muck up your throws you'll get punished, by boosting the survivors speed.
TLDR: The reason Survivors are effected and why it dosent activate immediately is to be a counter to Clown, he'd be unstoppable if these effects weren't in place
Second question why swap to the antidote if it takes time.
I'm sure you're aware holding the throw button down allows you to throw the bottle at a larger distance yes? If you do a long throw by the time you get over there the boost will be activated. You can chain antidotes together with big throws to cover ground fast, I'm able to get across most maps using 2 or 3, but as long as you get to a Gen it should scare people off it, letting you reload or use a perk like pop. (I'm shocked at the amount of people that don't commit vs pop. Slight off topic sorry)
You could try to use it at certain loops (Crotus Building) but I've personally had no luck with it, but that dosent mean it dosent work, get creative!
TLDR: You're supposed to throw it far then get the boost when you get to where you threw the bottle, you can try it at loops but this result may vary
As for the tips?
Use the antidote first! Throw it at a survivor and by the time you catch up it'll take effect, then you use a tonic and boom ez hit. If they try and loop? Do the same thing, Antidote one side(yours) tonic on the survivors side. Example being most smaller loops that have a short side and a longer side, AKA loops with just a pallet
Use a antidote when you pick up a survivor, free agitation
If you mess up an antidote throw, quickly throw a tonic on it before the survivors get to the cloud, it will completely remove the cloud. They won't get slowed down, but they won't get the boost either.
Like I said I'm not a Clown main, I've just been playing him all day and have picked up on afew things with this change. I hope this was helpful in some way. Ik it's just a small change, but this is the most fun I've had as killer in awhile.
Clown mains please don't crucify me in the mentions, however if anything I said was straight up wrong please let me know, I'd like to help op but I can't really do that if the info is wrong.
Edit I forgot to add a loop as an example where even with the antidote I still couldn't catch the survivor, looked like I contradicted a later point, sorry if this confused anyone
I will respond to this seriously.
Getting yellow gas instantly will not be OP, because you have only 4 bottles and had to reload.
Why using yellow one to get speed if you can just slow survivor with pink one ?
Use a antidote when you pick a survivor ? Are you kidding me ? Its a free flash save or hook sabotage for them.
Using one bottle on a side of a loop, and one other on the other side takes time and a red rank survivor will just run to another loop. Then you have 2 more bottles to use....... and for what ? Nothing.
I just think you dont play Clown at all.
PS : sorry for double post

All they did was add a new bottle type, old Clown is literally still there except now he reloads faster. Just... Don't use the other bottle. Boom, old Clown.
Clearly a player who dont play Clown at all.

There's nothing to miss really you can just play him old style using only the one bottle. Hes got better reload time, when you leverage the speed boost well though it can have a difference.
Hit a strong loop one side with slow down other side with speed up and boom safe pallet becomes very unsafe. Its been a goo dchange I'd like to play more but new HUD is doing my head in.
Read the posts pls, Clown has been nerfed...

check this btw, valid reasons and explanation why base clown was actually nerfed with the release, all the did was adding stupid bottle that does nothing
Exactly, new things for clown, but base clown is nerf.... I miss old him

the real problem is that now, with the bad new power, they are not going to rework him anymore, and proper buffs are almost impossible now.
clown will now be forever bad... they cant really speed up reload anymore, and the yellow bottles dont have much potential without completely breaking the game
Maybe next mid chapter, like they did with some killers, i hope so..

I've been enjoying For the People lately but I hate being broken for 90 seconds. I get insta healing is strong but I feel like the punishment is too severe.
What about y'all?
I play with For the people like 90% of the time and I can say its a veryyyy powerful perk. But if the teammate you helped dont have Soul Guard its a completly useless perk.
For the people is clearly a swf perk, you cant use it solo. I have a friend, we both use those two perks and its amazing. But solo I prefer Buckle Up + We're gonna live forever.
But to respond to the thread I like Aftercare but I hope someday it would be buffed, because I cant find a way to use it right now.

I think it would be overpowered, but I can imagine a new perk like deception but for vaults. But not a same perk for both.

My guess is that they did the whole green tint thing because people were sad that Macmillan lost its blue tint after the update
Exactly. They said that on Twitter.
But I dont understand, players were crying because Macmillan lost its blue tint, and now people cry because Autohaven dont lose its green tint.... its like you cant be happy, always something to say. Devs tried to make us happy but its never enough....

Nurse and Spirit mains are the worst imo.
People who main nurse basically just instantly win; I don't see how that is entertaining for anyone.
I play Clown.....

The grab bug is so frustrating when you play killer. And I feel so sad for killer when it happen while im playing survivor.

I'd say it's the toxicity of this game as it's easy to kill but hard to survive. So as a survivor you will consistently get a bad team and have a bad game and so it makes for alot of unhappy people. I've never played as the killer and felt frustrated, but as a survivor on the other hand I've gone from disinterest to rage quiting, to contemplating quitting this game all together. It's highly unfair to survivors as I can point out many examples as to why it's harder to play as such, and anyone who says otherwise probably only plays as the killer and likes their easy borderline free kills... Anyway my point is that the people playing survivor probably ain't that toxic but the game makes them that way. Blame the game.
I think you just find excuses for hurtful people who dont care that behind the killer there is a real person playing.
They told me to suicide myself just because I play killer. They dont need excuses they need to be banned from the game.

yeah people can be very sore winners in this game.
sadly there is nothing you can really do about it other than reporting it whenever you encounter it (people do get banned for this kind of behavior).
if you feel like you cant handle such toxicity you always have the option to disable your chat entirely.
I dont know if I want to disable my chat. Because I like to speak after my games, just to say gg or to make a funny comment about something happened in the game. If I wanted to disable my chat I will not play an online game.
And for the few people with who I had a great talk after the game.
I dont want to disable my chat I think its sad..

As a survivor main I can tell you that we are utterly misconstrued by many killers.
At the end of match before exiting I crouch and bow my head down and up in respect to killer for being a good sport and making the game fun to play only to be called toxic t-bager and a bad person for that.
When I meet Pig I often run at her to boop the snoot. Like before many times I got called for being toxic again just because of a meme.
So the morale of the day: don't assume something you don't really understand or simply don't know unless it ends in harrasment in the end chat. Reality may be much simpler than you think.
Im making this post because many survivors told me to kill myself in end game chat. And only when I play killer. Im survivor main too and i can say that survivors mains are worst than killers mains just because killer is the bad role so they say very bad things. It never happened to me to see a killer saying this. But survivors..... just because they like to insult killers for nothing.
And I dont camp or tunnel or slug, Im very fair killer and im not good, i play killer for fun, im survivor main.

Just ignore them.
The other day I had two survivors claim I was a bad teammate because instead of going into the basement against a basement camping Freddy, I went to work on generators.
I cant ignore people that told me to suicide myself just because I play the game. Just because im the killer, the bad role. I play super fair and they still talk like that. Im still learning killer im survivor main im not toxic or whatever. Even if i was they should not say that.
They need to be banned i cant ignore them.

There are 100% ######### Killer mains, but they are usually just low rank players, and sometimes they don't even realize they are playing like an #########. Very few are just outright #########.
But survivors... oh god. I can't tell you how many times I've had to defend the Killer because they are just being assaulted for no reason. I actually had a game once where I played against a pretty good Legion (unfortunately, those are very few) on Lery's. They played very (massive air quotes here) "fair" and still demolished us. He always went out of his way to not tunnel, never camped, and brought a mori for a daily, but only mori'd on death hook (and to be even more nice, he would walk to a hook with the survivor before dropping to mori.)
The other survivors had no reason whatsoever to be toxic to this guy. By all standards he followed the Survivor Rulebook™ perfectly, and he still got called a "camping tunneling PoS baby killer needs mori to win ######### uninstall you're trash no one loves you".
It's why I only bring BPS if I'm in a 4 man SWF. Survivors are just horrible.
Me too it happened to me. I defended the killer because survivors are just unfair to them.

My SWF have been doing this lately and I'd like to share it because it's kind of genius. You equip Plunderer's and Appraisal (Ace in the whole is optional), put up a coin and/or blueprint offering to create more chests and determine the hatch spawn point, do the gens, find the hatch, and you're out. It's tough to give up the 2 perk slots, but your other 2 can just be the classic DS/Dead Hard. It's way easier to do with SWF, but SWF is not necessary for it to work.
But you're probably wondering, "Why do this when you can just bring a key in?" That is because right now, unless you quick switch to a key in the lobby, the killer is going to notice your key and play extra dirty to stop you from using it (camping, tunneling, using Franklin's, etc). With this strategy you can play around that whole thing, because the killer will only see you with a key mid-match and not before.
If this strategy becomes popular, you can expect to see killers actually using scratched coins and Hoarder to counter it. I think it's viable, especially in SWF. What do y'all think? You can try it out if you'd like first.
This strategy is old and already popular, I saw many survivors doing it. I have a friend who only do chests builds and we always escape by hatch when i play with her.

I feel like using perks that encourage people to work on the generator you are working on is not the best playstyle because if the killer does come around, then the killer can pressure two or more people off of a generator more than often which is really bad for the survivor team. Repressed alliance should be used if you plan on doing generators solo for most of the match.
I dont agree. If the killer chase the other person I can hide and wait then finish the gen.
-
I hope so.
Graphic update is great but I think devs wasted good opportunities with Blight and Twins.
