Yep, sure. Nerf Killer perks because 'they're used too much' but excuses as to why this logic does not apply to Survivors. Only KILLER perks are clearly OP and thus that's why they are used. Survivors are fine. 🙄

Also the normal Survivor BS of '<x> is a crutch'. And those 'easy tactics' are usually rewarded by Survivors playing like lemmings. But again; all Killer's fault. Survivors are fine. Nerf Killers. Killer perks are used because they are OP, but Survivor perks are used because they are fine.

And evil tactics! How dare the Killer use tactics! The Killer is not allowed to use tactics that WORK! Nerf their perks so they can't use tactics!

You're entire post is Survivor main dogma. Everything Killer is 'OP' and 'Easy' while at the same time you claim the logic of 'Perks are overused, and therefore OP' can't apply to Survivors. Good lord.

I honestly stopped ready just because about four words in. I actually play the game as killer knowing that I will curb stomp everyone into the ground unless I actively let them go. If you think it's hard to play as killer then you probably aren't that good. Tic tac toe is probably too hard for you even when your playing against yourself... BTW just got done playing against a lvl 2 killer that was losing, and guess what he did??? Hook camped the guy who had evaded him in chase the entire game just so he could get him out of the way so it was down to three.... Wow it's as if these cheap plays are a crutch.

Only if the Survivor meta is nerfed, too.

Using 'It's used allot' is not a valid excuse to nerf something. The most balanced perk in the world would end up one of the most used perks, too...because it's perfectly balanced. But via your reasoning, it would need a nerf because it's used allot.

Not when the killer can crutch farming, slugging, tunneling, and camping. As long as those tactics are allowed or rather not punished in a meaningful way that deters that from happening then yes only the killer perks need a trim. And I'm not talking an over the top nerf, just a small percentage adjustment to those most overpowered to balance them out. Because the thing I've come to notice that almost every top tier killer has in common are those select few perks, and a common use of cheap tactics to offset the game balance right away so it's easy sailing from then on till they get a 4k and a ######### ton of blood points... Losing out on a couple hounded BP is not enough to keep people from the obviously easy tactics that guarantees a complete victory. I main survivor but if I play killer and only really use the hag and can mop the floor with 99% of all survivors in every match I've ever played and honestly got bored with the lack of challenge and I've never even bothered to use the really OP perks either. I've been as high as lvl 5 killer and seen no difference in difficulty, it's just plain and simply the easiest ######### I've ever played.

I am not really looking for arguments, really. I said, I will not change my opinion on that topic. The DC-Penalty is the way to punish those people, they cannot do it often because of that, otherwise they would give themselves (and the SWF-Mates who might benefit from their DC) an increasing Matchmaking-Penalty.

Let alone that this does NOT happen often. Like, really not often. Yes, hours dont mean anything, but can we for once not pretend that I am the absolute exception and that my experience ingame might be the norm?

I think if someone is saying that Survivors do this on a frequent basis in their games, they are either lying or legit forgetting the hundreds and thousands of games where Survivors dont DC for Hatch.

But we know how players in this game are - they have 100 games which are totally fine without any unfair things... Then there is ONE (in numbers: 1) game where a Survivor DCs to give another Survivor Hatch, so we HAVE to go to the Forums and complain about it (or, for Survivors: There is that one game where a Killer decides to slug the whole team and let them bleed out without any intention of hooking them)... Followed by 100 games without any unfair stuff.

As I said in previous posts, it would be nice if they would change it and it is indeed annoying and I dont think it is fine because it is rare. But they should invest their time in other things, the game has a lot of construction sites where the Devs can put work into. But I think it would be a waste of time to create a system which detects if someone DCs to give another person Hatch to prevent the Hatch from opening and starts EGC (and, on this note - what if it is legit Crash? Lets say there are two Survivors left and one of them really has a Crash - should the other Survivor be screwed by default? But this would be fine "because its rare", eh?)

I agree with you somewhat, but as a survivor main it gets really old facing off against bad killers who's only means of winning a match is slugging which does not happen that often, but then you have hook camping, tunneling, and farming of which all can be used as a crutch to to off balance the game right from the start for an easy win. There are a lot of terrible survivors that don't know how to play that can sandbag you, nonstop latency issues, OP killer perks, and killer favored maps it's almost impossible to have a good game where you actually survive a side from the occasional killer who let's you go. Honestly if the killer perks were knocked down just a little it would balance the game just fine. Maybe not even all of them but the ones that are always used are used a lot for a reason. Because it makes it so easy to win.

Yes, because it's cheating. You claiming a Killer should not try for the 4K or, the usual Survivor BS 'Be happy with the 3K' is beside the point.

The hatch should not open, if the DC would open it. The remaining Survivors will need a key, or need to pop a gen. That simple; DC can't open hatch.

Pfft are you joking??? Every other player I face playing as killer is a sorry sack of crap that does all manner of cheap stuff to get a 4k and the wort part is the game don't even punish them for doing it... Some of you will say "Ya but they lost on blood points" sorry but losing out on like 50 blood points isn't going to deter any of the s$#&bags that want their easy kills... Camp a hook till death and you'll get a 4k almost every time and with the right perks that becomes a definite. It would be nice if the killer had to do little more than scratch their ass to out do all four survivors in blood points and get a sweeping victory... I've been a lvl 1 survivor many times so before anyone opens their ignorant mouth and says "get good scrub" I know how to play. It's so easy to play as killer that I get bored and actively let survivors get objectives done just so it's not so one sided... And I wouldn't even say I'm a great killer either and 9 out of 10 games I'll kill all of them most without even trying, and the rest all I have to do is play cheap for a little bit till the match is in my favor then coast it in for another 4k. If you don't think that's the case as killer then you probably suck not just at this game but all games in general. Add some serious penalties for the cheapness or it will never change.

  • And I'm referring to the fact that killers can hit you through walls, from 15ft away, while swinging in the opposite direction. I'd be fine with the fact I was still in the window, or just starting to vault over a pallet but when I'm clear across the pallet, or 5ft or more out of a window and I still get hit it's a problem, and to this day it still hasn't been addressed. This game literally has the worst hit detection system I've ever seen. Imagine playing COD and shooting at someone 10ft away and to the right of them by 6ft feet but still getting a headshot on them... I don't think that would fly over well.

  • Idk. I just love jumping through a second story window with my feet about to hit the ground, but some how the killer is still able to hit me through a wall no less. Happens way too often. Also love the butter knives that have the reach of a spear that the killers have like legion.

  • @Gibberish said:

The only thing that should be changed about face camping is that the Survivor being facecamped should get emblem & bloodpoints, because they are occupying the Killer's time so that other Survivors can do gens freely.

I'm not for the face camping but that would definitely make you hate it a lot less if you knew youd get more than completely screwed by a no skill killer.

  • @MrPenguin said:

I am of the mind that if your team lost then they lost, that's just the nature of a team based game. I don't think we need to give the last survivor a chance based get out of jail free card that can screw the killer out of a kill they deserve. If the concern is holding the game hostage we now have EGC that we can implement in its place.

I don't really think it's "fair" in its current state as its inclusion really only benefits survivors and it doesn't do much but undermine the match and what should be its results or allow multiple people to get out with keys and such. I would just start EGC when 1 survivor is left or if there has been no chase for a very long time to prevent hostage situations. Rough idea but something along those lines.

It should not be in your favor, or close to it, to escape if you are down to 1 player in what was a 4 man team.

If hatch is included to stop survivors from holding the game hostage, it sound strange to me that the solution is giving them a free escape option. Feels like rewarding bad behavior.

This game does nothing but reward bad killer behavior. Tunneling, body camping, body baiting, sweating, slugging. Its 1-6 in favor of killer. I think it's fine. That's not taking into account that bad teammates can negatively effect a good or great survivors game by sandbagging them, not getting the gens done or doing stupid things. One survivor cant do everything and escape. It's a last ditch effort to give the luckiest/best survivor one more chance to escape. But as killer you get to roam the entire map without worry so it's a lot easier to find.

Can't agree. I'm not a survivor main but I play survivor enough and I know the ######### they face. They face teammates playing poorly, teammates that suicide early, killers that can slug or camp and tunnel early, many killers with sweaty builds or/and strong powers in a row. But it never makes me mad at them in post game chat. I can ask "what did I do that you decide to tunnel me ignoring everyone you see?", but I never go toxic. Maybe because I grown up enough. But point is, player decide to be toxic not because game makes him go that way. We all play the same game, but not everyone get that mad in post game chat.

I dont agree with "Player decide to be toxic not because game makes them go that way". While there are those who will grief simply because they're a sad individual, you saying the game has no bearing on it what so ever is false. You never got mad about something and said something you shouldnt have??? Highly doubt it. Point is the game is broken and makes for a lot of frustration, and a frustrated person is gonna be more emotional. There for more likely to lash out. Not justifying anyone's actions or things they say, but that the game itself plays a major role in this toxicity because the game is toxic...

I think you just find excuses for hurtful people who dont care that behind the killer there is a real person playing.

They told me to suicide myself just because I play killer. They dont need excuses they need to be banned from the game.

I'm not saying there isnt ######### people. Just saying this game is toxic to begin with.

  • @Anara said:

Im actually a survivor main but sometimes I play killer for fun and for rift challenges.

When I play killer I play bad, but I dont tunnel or camp or slug and I use fun builds and bad perks. Because I enjoy the game and I dont care to win.

But half of end game chats there are always survivors complaining about me, insulting me for nothing... tell me horrible things I cant write here.... I always report this kind of players but I still saw end game chats like this.

Ive never seen a killer fair like me. I know that Im loosing but I still dont camp and ran away from hooks to practice chases and get better.

Survivors are escaping and still insults me in end game chat. They calling me a tunneler but everyone have been hooked twice...

I know the most popular opinion is that killers are toxic etc but its wrong survivors players are way more and insults killers for nothing.

Its very sad because this game is very fun but players are just trash people, sorry to say that...

I just want to say : Behaviour please do your job and ban players like this from the game. They are very hurtful for free, with no reason. There are games rules but they dont care because they are not banned and still in this game.

I just start to think that killer is the bad role and whatever your gameplay, kind or toxic, survivors just like to insult killers because they are the bad role.

I'd say it's the toxicity of this game as it's easy to kill but hard to survive. So as a survivor you will consistently get a bad team and have a bad game and so it makes for alot of unhappy people. I've never played as the killer and felt frustrated, but as a survivor on the other hand I've gone from disinterest to rage quiting, to contemplating quitting this game all together. It's highly unfair to survivors as I can point out many examples as to why it's harder to play as such, and anyone who says otherwise probably only plays as the killer and likes their easy borderline free kills... Anyway my point is that the people playing survivor probably ain't that toxic but the game makes them that way. Blame the game.

I'm not bad and I got CONSISTENT downs and made great choices and plays but two mistakes got me. I didn't use cheap tactics except slugging at end game to punish their bodyblocking. I have maybe 20 games with her or 30 and have easily coasted90 percent of my games because she is easy. I'm not the best but I know I am at least somewhat good as I never usually have to resort to those tactics. And I wasnt asking for help because I know what I can do to be better its No re of whether I actually do it when pressuted and the point of this article or thread is my realization that 12 hooking fairly is not always gonna be a choice.

I hear ya. But honestly I just tried clown for the first time. 1 Lvl 1 perk no add on no offering. Killed 3 of 4 easy and never felt pressured to be cheap and i had opportunities to do so. Then i just played as the demogorgan with only 1 lvl 1 perk and killed two fairly quick with 3 gens to go. I downed the other two and let them back up to finish the other 3 as i hit and stalked them and broke pallets and doors to up my points. Then killed the one and let the other open the door before i killed him... Seriously it's so easy to play killer it's boring.

  • @Komodo16 said:

So I had a pretty perfect game. No tunneling or camping and I got REALLY consistent downs as spirit on torment creek and this ash kept trying to get MoM and I even phased in front of him and downed the girl he protected and yeah. So I got pop, thrilling, corrupt and some other perk I don't even remember, but I almost lost because they started playing more cautious and so I popped a half gen, main building at zero and I popped a 75 or 85 gen and chased a guy for like a minute as they saved and healed someone and even then I dont think it was a full minute and due to spirit being 4.4 he got away with really dumb plays and it pissed me off, because I didnt tunnel and didn't slug I was punished for a bad chase that I was too slow on to actually punish the survivors bad pathing.

And the sad realization is that if you cant get consistent downs 100 percent you have to tunnel or slug to win because they had TWO prove thyself and the guy I chased had adrenaline so I went to the the door cut my losses because every One else was worse than him and eventually slugged my way to a 3k punishing altruism. The ash was decent but made plays that a 4.6 would beat him for and the girl who escaped wasted pallets at end game with flashlights meaning I couldnt really catch her. Those 2 people actually made me waste time.

Idk I was glad I got a 3k by making proper decisions at the endgame but im upset that I HAD to. Hell maybe if I used my ability more in those 2 troublesome chases id be fine but holy hell if I didnt realize how much you need to rely on your power as a 4.4 and to rely on distasteful tactics to beat gen speed. I mean I dont have much practice with spirit and I still am not the best at pinpointing with my headset but it really makes you feel hopeless.

Thanks for listening to my ted talk and you can leave all the insults below with a "P.S. I love you Komodo16!" ;)

Idk you kinda just solved your own issue at the end of your post here. "Maybe if I had used my abilities more on the two troublemakers and how you havent played the spirit much, and not good at pin pointing with headset." Do you honestly feel you should be able to start using any killer you wish without any practice and just own all the survivors??? Let's be honest here. Tunneling, body camping, slugging, and body baiting are crutch tactics to cheaply steal a victory away from survivors because the killer is lacking. Though it's not really the players fault as the dev's allow this poor game play to persist in the game without any negative effects to the killer what so ever. The game rewards killer for being cheap, and punishes survivors simply for being survivors.

  • @DaKnight said:

If you are not willing to camp, you are not willing to tunnel. If you are not willing to tunnel, you are not willing to slug. That means you are just a basic bih killer who picks people up and hooks them which creates no pressure whatsoever.

Half these survivor mains don't ever play killer and if they did they would be terrible at it following their own rulebook. I can't imagine seeing an injured survivor and thinking "Oh oh, I can't go after him, that would be tunneling, tunneling is bad....I need to go after the fully healthy guy who hasn't been hooked yet. I need to give the survivors 10 million second chances so I can get 4 man outed"

The only people who follow that junk are streamers who get paid to play the game

Actually I've actively gone after the person who was trying to bait me away, or getting the other person off the hook simply because its #########. Have I broken this rule yes, but most the time and I'm talking 90% I dont need to. Why??? Because I'm good enough to kill all four survivors without resorting to using trash tactics. Idk I think as a person playing the killer you should try playing as legit as possible. As killer your already quicker and faster. You shouldnt have to use slugging, body camping, body baiting, and tunneling which are all very cheap and easy to do to get a W. The problem is there is no punishment for the killer who uses these ######### tactics. No real loss in blood points because if you do these things you win in the end anyway and recoup blood points you lost by being cheap anyway, and get rewarded with pipping up. As survivor you just get screwed by the killer and by this game simply because of the way it's designed. Its designed so everything is in the killers favor and the survivor get screwed in every which way possible. I just dont get how anyone playing killers can act like they have it bad. Like they need the games to be handed to them, like survivors should just line up in front of them to die. That's just how it seems with people on here but what do I know.

  • @Speeddemonsaif said:

Lemme explain if you can only mori on second hook moris become uselsss especially on pyramid head where he his special mori for second hook state. If you die on third hook state what the ######### is the point of moris. Bhvr litterally buffed flashlights and nerfed moris and didn't do a thing to the keys god damn this game is way too much survivor sided. ALSO WHY IS BHVR LISTENING TO THE ENTITLED SURIVVIORS THEY ARE JUST TORTURING US POOR KILLER MAINS.

Lmfao are you serious??? Flashlights suck worse then you do. Killer is easy!! Try getting better instead of complaining. I kill all 4 almost every match, and when I don't it's because I either felt bad and let a couple of them Escape or the last survivor got lucky and found the hatch. Not to mention all the cheap ways you can play to win is ridiculous. Hook Camping, body baiting, gen stalking a territory, gen locking... You do any one of those and your bound to have a successful game, not to mention the amount of BP you get for little to no effort. I've carried entire teams on my back keeping them alive, off hooks, getting gens done, cleansing totems, and healing. Pretty much hold their hands and how do you think I get rewarded??? By becoming a mantle piece for the killer when I couldn't find the hatch first, or dissected with mori and make 10,000 less blood points. As a killer you basically get 10,000 BP for nothing other than loading into the match practically. As a killer you dont have to depend on anyone but yourself, survivors do... Long story short I get punished for having potatoes for teammates while the killer gets rewarded.

  • The crossplay is fun. I dont understand why people dont like constantly getting ghost hit several times in one match, while getting teamed with with people in the mid teens getting matched up to lvl1 killers. That way you can be made in to a quick ornamental decoration... Honestly I enjoy it even more now. Not only do I have to wait 5+ minutes for a match I also dont have to be in the match as long with all the precise strikes that cut through walls, windows, and air behind/above/below and around me. Great job team!! Instead of fixing real issues, let's continue to make more problems.😁👍

Okay mate, give me your account name, me and my 3 friends will play against you, you use 'no skill ghostface' without perks, ok?

First I didnt say ghost face is a no skill killer, just that his stalking is broken. He can be in broad daylight standing in the middle of all four survivors while looking directly at him and it still works. What's the point of him needing to crouch and be sneaky if he doesnt have to hide??? Not really stalking when your spotted. Two I dont have ghost face, I was talking being a killer in general. Three I'll play you and your buddies with no perks using the killer of my choosing. AlightBULLDOG on xbox. Bring on the game on.

  • Dont understand what they're saying... Just saying that some of these perks need to be tweeked slightly. Not talking a full neutering just a tweek. And that's not to say that there ain't any issues with killers that need to be fixed. Ghost face has the what I call "The No Skill Skill". I'm talking about the marking of survivors. You shouldnt be getting marked when you can see him clear as day... Otherwise theres no point to him needing to crouch if he doesnt even have to be hidden.

yeah dude thats way too much. i think there could be a few things worked on but thats quite a bit. i think that victor should have a longer cool down if kicked back to charlotte but he has NO way of hooking so why send him back if he downs someone? unbreakable is the counter to this (unless its toxic face camping) in that case its not the killer but the player.

There are a lot of bugs involved with this release and im sure they will rework the twins when they iron them out.

I main as a survivor i suck as killer. Now if the game continues to nerf killers because the survivors get upset then we wont have any killers to play against and we wont have a game.

It's easy to be killer. I will kill everyone on average 75% of the time without using any perks, and with top teir perks and an offering I barely try and wipe everyone out. I main as a survivor and I've never had to try as hard to kill the survivors as I have to try to survive... I think the balancing issues comes from all the high powered killer perks that can be stacked and used like a crutch to to fix a bad player/killer weakness, or to augment their strength to the point of being OP. So maybe they need to nerf the best killer perks a little bit.

I play on PS4 and I’m honestly really glad that there’s no chat. Too toxic.

That's because all PS players are trash killers who only know how to camp hooks, tunnel, and hover. Seriously it's made the game not fun anymore.

  • The amount a killer is played is not a direct relation to how good or bad the killer is especially when they have to be bought. What makes him OP is his speed. I've ran him on walls and windows optimal for avoiding the killer, and the clown catches up way to fast, and I'm talking barely running him for 5 seconds before said wall. Jump perfectly through a window of a wall he has to go way around and have to drop a pallet half a second later... And that's not taking into account that you slow down when you get dosed with his laughing gas. Not saying he needs a total over haul but he shouldnt be faster than ghost face... Hes fat. Change it from 4.6m/s to like 4.5m/s. Also the fact that a killer can hit you even when looking completely in the oposite direction pretty much leaves nothing in favor as a survivor.

  • The big issue I have is that as a survivor while falling I continue to fall in the direction I last was going before I left the platform, while the killer gets to float or glide around in any direction in mid air.... #########??? Maybe some of the spiritual type killers I can forgive this for but when a fast killer gets to glide through the air in whichever direction he want in the air, and also has no stagger effect what so ever is a complete breakdown of that aspect of the game, regardless of survivor perks

I've been noticing a significant difference when running my saboteur build with Petrified Oak. However at the same time you need to remember that hook placement is entirely rng as well, so there is still a chance that two tiles adjacent to each other will have hooks spawn close to the line between two tiles.

I use to run sabateur till they decided that the hooks being gone for more than 10seconds was a crime... Now they spawn back in 4 seconds after you sabo them, and with how quick you can sabo a hook has also made any add-ons to increase the sabo speed are basically worthless because the toolboxs basically run out of charges after one hook... Its not really an offering that guarantees free wiggle escape. Simplest explanation:

You gain a pip after getting a certain score.

No emblem is 0 points, bronze is 1 point, silver is 2 points, gold is 3 points and iridescent is 4 points.

Depending on you rank, you require a different amount of points. Seeing as you gained 8 points and lost a pip, that should mean you're around rank 4-1. At which point I do kinda have to point out that you sound like you've been boosted by others if you havent figured out how the pipping system works, or at the very least you sound like an old player returning to the game considering it used to work on bloodpoints.

I just don't understand how the devs expected killers to win without a perk that "slows the game down just a little bit" and with an AWEFUL matchmaking system. I know this just sounds like a killer main crying but I do play both sides and I'd like to hear other people's thoughts.

Honestly I don't find being a killer difficult at all... Like I don't even bother spending blood points on them. Every killer perk is powerful with no draw backs, and as a lvl 13 killer and I'm only that low because I don't play killer very much other than to complete challenges. Yah sometimes all the survivors escape but for everytime that happens I kill every single one in a 6-1 ratio in my favor, so I don't get when people say that survivors are OP...

Clown's strength is entirely in his ability to end chases really fast. But he lacks any form of map pressure. This means that as long as every survivor is doing their part (AKA on gens when someone else is being chased) then the clown, unless he's really good or lucky, will end up with a 0-2k.

The best advice I can offer you when it comes to looping Clown is to just thrown down pallets early and just keep distance. There are some jungle gyms you can loop him on but it's very difficult and its best to make it look like you're gonna loop him and leave once he throws a bottle down to try and catch you. A good example of this is at shack. Assuming you're inside and the clown is outside facing the window, a good clown will toss a bottle through the window (Easy to dodge) and will proceed to go to the side with the pallet in hopes you drop it or will throw a bottle at it so that you can't loop him there. THat's your queue to just leave quickly through the other exit and make more distance. If you're injured though and don't run Iron Will then just do your best to distract him as long as possible at the loop.

While yes the bottle for the most part is easy to dodge, and I know how to use pallets well. So while it's sound advice I already know these things.

Can you just stop pretending like you have any clue about the game at all? You are a noob that has no basic understanding, you don't even know the movementspeed for the killers, clown shares the default ms of 115 which most killers do, trapper too. The fact that you just run in a straight line cause you have no clue on what to do as a rank 15 doesn't mean that there are adjustments needed but that you need to learn how to play the game and git gud.

Insanely fast Trapper dude 115 OP plZT nerF, me not noob nononono! You don't even understand that there is a mechanic called bloodlust which increases the movement speed of killers, the longer they chase a single survivor without getting a hit or breaking a pallet. Do you even know why this mechanic exists? Yeah cause maps are so busted that you could run killers forever without it.

Go ahead stream, I wanna see your killergameplay on r1, just remember wraith without anything since he is so OP, in fact make it 50/50 clown / wraith all 4ks since it is just so OP, insane fast dude.

Doctor is excessive... Cant hide from him if you get buzzed at all because of his illusionary cameos which allow him to know where your at for 8 seconds, can't drop pallets if hit with shock, can't vault windows when hit with shock, illusional pallets, fast, can't heal yourself, power generators, cleanse totems, power gates, or mend till you snap out of it, constantly scream alerting him to your location when hooking someone or ifflicted bad enough but not enough to be able to initiate snapping out of it... And he's fast!!!! Come On!!! I'm not saying it should be easy but Christ it shouldnt be completely impossible. I've played as doctor; it's easy, as is most every killer and I don't even spend blood point on them. And I'm not saying every killer is OP... Nurse sucks, death slinger is probably too slow by just a bit.... Point is that it should be a challenge for killers not just survivors to have spectacular games, but everything is so stacked for the killer, and all of you want to argue that every killer is weak so you can keep your "OP feel good about yourself blood point factory" and not even break a sweat...

Honestly im convinced this whole thing is bait after reading this but I'll fall for it anyway.

Killers have 2 movement speeds (excluding nurse) - 4.6m/s and 4.4m/s, also known as 115% and 110%. Survivors run at 4m/s, hence the percents.

Clown, trapper, hillbilly, leatherface, a lot of killers are the exact same movement speed of 115, the only ones that aren't being hag, spirit, huntress, deathslinger, and nurse, all of whom are 110 except nurse at 96.

So, uh, sorry to break this to you mate, but clown is no faster than any other killer in the game. He can slow you down in a chase? Cool, he can't traverse the map so good luck defending gens even if the team is pepega.

I hate this phrase, but legitimately the only thing you can do is to just get good. He's known as (one of the) weakest killers in the game for a good reason, so literally just learn to play.

Im lvl 4 survivor... I know how to play, so that don't factor.they maybe set speeds but IDK maybe with some of the perks from other killers effect him in a glitched out way to make him overly fast... All I know is that it was way excessive. I was literally running one of the jungle gyms through two windows. He hit me going through the first window, jumped the second window turned left and he was coming around the right. Had to run the long wall which was that long and cought up and downed me all withing 10 seconds......... Please tell me how that's not over powered??? Granted I've never had that much issue before, despite him being a fast killer as he is.

Tunnelling doesn’t have much to do with Clown or not. Any killer can choose to do that.

This player probably caught up to you quick even if you had SB because he might have been using Solvent Jug. It’s a popular Clown add on that causes exhaustion so that survivors can’t use perks like SB.

I know tunneling happens. That wasn't my point, my point was I only got spotted once and then from there I didn't have a chance to get away.

  • Nobody cares what you think, bet that's why your on here.

Seeing as nobody else is being helpful, I main Clown so here’s some advice.

Yes, a player that knows how to use Clown properly WILL catch up and hit you or down you very quickly.

2 weaknesses Clown has, are Stealth, and dropping the pallet early.

I.e. try not to get spotted in the first place. Play cautiously. And don’t get greedy with loops and attempt a stun. Just drop that pallet and make some distance.

I got spotted one time then hooked then tunneled me right as somebody unhooked me... Then downed with the speed of light even though I have Sprint burst, and windows of opportunity...

You must be new. Complaining about Clown will get your opinion flatly dismissed. He's one of the worst killers. Sorry you feel he's too fast, but this is one of those cases where you're going to need to get good or at least get perspective.

Lvl 4 survivor... So no I'm not new. Either he's overly fast or it was a laggy game that allowed him to be so fast.
