I'll just put what I already voted for on twitter here
group A - Bubba
Idc what anyone says, bubba has one of the best moris in the game, easily beating the other 3 here
group B - GF
I think this one is obvious
group C - Hag
again, one of the best in the game. have no idea how legion is currently beating her
group D - Oni
same as GF, clear winner in this group
group E - Plague
this was hard, Myers mori is so ######### good aswell, and so does spirit... but plague has a more unique one. (sidenote...poor trapper, never stood a chance)
group F - Trickster
obvious winner is obvious.

Hex: Impediment is harsh, but doable. It would need to be declared the moment gen #4 is completed so survivors know what's coming and can counterplay it, because a 50 second stall would be a LOT of time at that stage of the game, especially if the blocked gen is also called out.
Solitude gets a hard no from me, though. Being able to kill a chase or extend it by a whopping 25 seconds at just a button-press? I don't think this can work in a way that isn't utterly horrible to play against.
if there is a tell on impediment, it becomes useless.

because when a human chooses at random, it's different from true random.
actually, there's a pretty good explanation on akagi... let me find it real quick
it's a manga, read from right to left

it's from chapter 304, feel free to read if you want (do keep in mind this is 5 chapters from the end of the series)

but as a summary, we are a pattern seeing species. we will create patterns even if we don't want to.

they just make sure that the perks from the archives appear in it.

because bbq is only 1 out of 66 perks.

Just to play Devil's advocate for a minute, what would it mean to "be lucky" with chests? Is it just higher item rarity? But a Rainbow Map is not as useful as a Skeleton Key. And if you're injured, you'll probably want a Ranger Med-Kit over a toolbox of equal rarity, unless you have Adrenaline and want to rush that last gen so you and your teammates can open a door and escape.
luck just means increasing the odds of a more rare version of whatever you get... it's not complicated

I'm been playing the game for 3 years and I've only started playing killer recently and I can tell you that decisive strike is the most abusable and unhealthy perk in the game in it's current state, even more so than ruin.
I still put dead hard above it...

what? isn't it obvious?

I wonder since this chapter got delayed til next week if we'll actually get the changes that everyone has been wanting for Trickster, cause I was ready to take lots of L's tomorrow.
me too... had 1.8 m bps ready to go, was gonna try to get his adept asap.
now I just prestiged clown...
-
I hope they turn it back on aswell.
the only real issue was killers with an MMR that was too high. so just gonna tune in the matchmaking a bit to acomodate this.
-
slow survivor, speed yourself up. survivor dead
-
trapper... instadown...
what?
-
besides the already there
I always see the new killer wryyyyyy
you can also add the
*2 weeks after release
Where is the new killer? I never see him
-
playing trapper, looking forward and seeing 2 survivor auras.
so ######### glad OoO is getting a nerf...
-
I watch for the player. not the character.
-
I play on console. I'm never gonna main any ranged killer.
-
There's also not a Brazillian survivor or killer.
but you won't see me here trying to make yui brazillian, and erase the japanese representation just because...
######### man?
-
watch him be delayed to next week while I'm sitting here with 2 miliion bps...

I mean this in the best possible way,,,not toxic at all. Killer mains ALWAYS tell survivor players who complain and camping and tunneling to simply "get better" why cant that be the same advice for killers who complain about survivors gen rushing, I am sincerely confused?? That is the advise always,,,and I means always, being told to survivors who say anything about the "tactic" of camping and tunneling. The only time I see camping and tunneling as a tactic is when three gens are done and the game started a min ago. But, that is not usually the case I see. I play a few hours a night and see most camping killers do it after the first 20 secs of a game starting and not one gen is done. It is their "go to" move from the start because they know survivors will try to hook rescue.
the other way around is also true.
killers complain about the gen times and survivors tell them to git gud. but then survivors complain about camping and tunneling and somehow they don't wanna hear it.
-
just use unbreakable.
by the time you could use power struggle, you are already up and can just drop the pallet normally

It's lagswitching and it's cheating. See when you pause it as David comes out of the locker? it shows his ping, its 1020ms which is the maximum the game shows.
Every once in a hundred games you may get a random lag spike that stops you hooking a survivor once that happens, but when it's like this and its the same survivor or same 2 survivors doing it again and again throughout the game it's obvious the problem is them, not you nor the servers.
Notice how they don't lag until they're about to be hit. Then they lag out which stops you from picking them up or hooking them. It's a known exploit. Submit a ticket to support and send them this video.
Here's a video which goes into a bit of detail on the exploit
I did submit a ticket.
but I send them a version of the video without the censoring.
I didn't even notice the ping thing... interesting

The longer it goes on, the more suspicious it looks, but I've never seen anything like that, so I don't know.
One of the things that makes it seem suspicious to me is that, once you get to the stage where you're stuck carrying the Dwight forever, no one else seems to react to that -- not even by pointing or memeing or anything. The David, in particular, just keeps trying to provoke you and get you into a chase where you can't catch him because you're at carrying speed. The David also seems to always be there when something weird starts happening, and he seems to appear at weird times and pick himself up very quickly when he's down.
right? it's so weird...
except for picking himself up, he had unbreakable along with no mither

90% of survivors will immediately exit the locker the moment Bubba smashes into it anyway because apparently people are still unaware that his tantrum has an active hitbox in 2021. Tbh I don't really know the timing now since his tantrum is longer the more charges you use.
ikr?
it works WAY too often

2:02 - can't hook
2:42 - still can't hook
2:58 - stuck in grab animation
3:12 - david walks from closet
3:32 - david walks from closet again
4:03 - tiny pickup delay
4:35 - my shadow looks dumb (unrelated, just funny)
6:11 - small pickup delay again
6:35 - david goes into the school
6:38 - david unhooks cheryl
7:17 - david teleports from fence to downed dwight
7:31 - can't hook dwight, he's flying, am stuck in the carrying someone speed and actions
8:08 - can't hear david at all, but he is somehow there for the pickup on dwight
8:14 - for reference, you can clearly hear him here
8:52 - david teleports on top of cheryl for the heal
9:32 - can hit dwight now for some reason...he starts floating away
9:53 - get pallet stunned, but am not stunned.
13:14 - dwight dies to the entity
13:22 - silly shadow dance

none.
I play them all every now and again.
but nurse, clown and spirit are basically on the bottom of the list because I either can't play them properly or don't like the playstyle

Right... So that suddenly negates the rest of my post? The absurd grind is fine because the issue of Cross Progression isn't on BHVR's end? The post isn't about cross progression, I was explaining why I had to start from scratch on PC.
yes... me saying that one part of what you said is wrong, somehow means I disagree with everything you said...
guy a - "Hey guys, did you know X, Y and Z?"
guy b - "Nah, Y is not that"
guy a - "Why are you disagreeing with everything I said?!?"
-
the issue with cross progression is with sony and microsoft.
behaviour has it's problems, but this one isn't on them.
-
nope. mine was the opposite.
I got pretty potato survivors until the MMR caught up and I got survivors that were manageable
-
depends on my mood.
usually, I just hook the guy and see what happens.
sometimes, I look for either the hatch or the last survivor, whichever I find first.

I may be wrong, I need an original player to confirm, but I think when Nurse was introduced she didn't have the fatigue after blinking she did her normal weapon wipe. But she was all sorts of OP. So they reworked add ons, took away a blink, and added the fatigue to make her more fair.
Deathslinger, Nurse and Hag are a good comparison. Hag teleports to her trap then swings for an m1. Slinger shoots and reals you in to then have to m1 for a hit. Nurse blinks, maybe blinks again, then she m1s to hit.
you are wrong.

Nope, guess you're just named similarly to another gentleman--I wanted to make sure you weren't upset, but it wasn't you so no harm, no foul! My match was against some poor lad running OoO (with friends I assume?) on a Coldwind map. Their whole group but one died in basement (the unkilled one DC'd within the first two minutes of the game).
I never run object, so absolutely not me.

I was wondering, are the current shrine perks worth getting? I was thinking of getting Inner Strength but wasn't sure, I've heard alot about Stridor also. I'm still kinda new and don't know which perks are the best to use, I play both survivor and killer. This is my first post, hope I'm doing this right haha. Hope everyone's has a great weekend 😊
if you plan on getting all the characters, don't bother with the shrine, save the currency to get new characters and/or cosmetics. It really doesn't take a lot of time to get a character to lvl 40 and unlock their stuff.
but yes, inner strenght is really good. it's like a pocket heal for when you need it.
iron will is one of the strongest survivors perks, and yet somehow underrated...
stridor is good on 2 killers basically, spirit and nurse. and nurse has better stuff to use anyway...
agitation is very situational, but pretty good on those situations

imagine thinking chrome dome (pyramid head) is better than demo,
also legion/plague is literally terrible for me. higher than oni? interesting i guess.
I disagree with a lot of the tier list... but this is a hill I'm willing to die on.
PH ranged attack is better then demos, can hit through pallets and multiple people at once.
people are so scared of the trails that is essentially an anti-loop. shouldn't be... but is.
also he can naturally avoid stuff like BT and DS.
so yes, PH over Demo any day.

Already addressed this. I've gotten merciless without the double pip--no adept. Brutal with a double pip--still no adept.
Again, fairly certain it was a bug. Again, felt it necessary to cover all bases, even if they should normally be the same thing. Sometimes things aren't normal, and it's good to know for those times.
Edit: Did I play a Trapper game against you a little bit ago today? Your name seems hella familiar.
do you play in the south america server? ( I do think there's only 1 here...)
and did you kill me after I failed a flashlight save and stepped on a trap? I believe the map was azarov...

Incorrect, Merciless and double-pip. If you get one and not the other, the achievement won't unlock.
At least that's how it's been in my experience.
merciless and double pip are the same thing

Nice, good job!
Maybe I need to play some as well then. But on the other hand, it's no rush, because if this system gets online for real, this might be the case for every killer since they have separate MMR's.
au contraire. we don't know when the MMR is coming back. you may not get another chance

Personally I don't think FNAF is genre defining, it got popular and that's about it. Sure it got a few low budget clones here and there but didn't leave an impact on the way most horror games are made. Silent Hill created a new, now common breed of survival horror and Left 4 Dead went on to inspire most co-op shooters that have been made since.
It literally created an entire new style of horror games. the "don't really move, manage resources" style of horror. and currently was in the ps5 annoucement as an exclusive.
The news of a fnaf movie coming out promply pushed others to put one out as fast as they could to cash in on murderous animatronics (which is how we got willy's wonderland, fun B movie btw)
So I say it's genre defining, if not, close enough to it
Yes, I have watched a lot of classic slashers, and a lot of people do fairly criticize them for their cheap jump scares, but the entire movie isn't a jump scare, these films have a lot of redeeming qualities that make them loved by people that don't like jump scares. The same exact thing can be applied to FNAF but at a larger scale. Some people that don't like jump scares will be able to move past it and like the game for it's other redeeming qualities whether that be lore, atmosphere, or character building. But others myself included, may not be able to move past it because they find the games re-use of this scare-tactic as too repetitive, cheap, or boring.
which is fair. but just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it's bad.
and I stand by what I said earlier, the jumpscares are fail states. they don't just happen at random, they happen when you screw up. So I think they are fair, since essentially you are the cause of them.
again, except for the challenge nights and whatnot. because they have way too much randomness to be considered fair.
No, I'm not an elitist. I personally don't like the new IT movies and am pretty on the fence about the original. But that doesn't stop me from recognizing what they do correctly and that if done right could fit amongst the current roster. I was the same way about Silent Hill during it's reveal and was skeptical on whether it's inclusion made any logical sense among the cast.
curious, what changed your mind about silent hill?
FNAF is simply too far out for me, I've played the original three, I thought the overuse of the jump-scare mechanic made the games incredibly boring and stale, and placing chuck e cheese next to some of the most iconic horror figures ever conceptualized just doesn't sit well with me.
which is again, fair. If you don't like a game, you don't like it.
Personally, amnesia to me was way too boring. so I stopped playing halfway.
but whether we like it or not. FNAF is probably the most iconic horror IP to be created in the last decade. at least in games.
Whether I like it or not FNAF is horror, it's a very different game and just because I consider it cheap doesn't mean it gets removed from the genre. Like most things, at the end of the day this all boils down to opinion and whether it gets added or not will be determined with time.
this was a way more measured response than I expected. sorry for assuming you were just gonna be an ######### about it.
you're nice ^^

Can you provide some video or screenshots of your match results?
as well as information on what you've been playing?
So far I've only seen people providing evidence of really unfair matchups, I would love to see some of the other way around.
because people go "that was a great match" and don't feel the need to share it on the forums
-
when I notice a key, which isn't often because I'm usually watching something else during lobby time, I make sure they are out of the game first.
I don't tunnel, until we reach 2 gens left, which is when the key matters. at that point, they are the number 1 priority.
-
I had some pretty good games. aftr a couple games where it was weird.
