nope.

with how lost people get on regular indoor maps... we really don't need an actual labyrinth in the game

Her learning curve is essentially nothing, even while being the highest. Her skill ceiling is probably low A tier at best. It really is just a fact that most players on both sides are terrible and thus killer players struggle to get over a curve that is easy.
am I really reading that a nurse skill ceiling is low a tier?
what is an s tier for you?

- 2nd blink movement time is 1sec. Her range is 12m, you can run for 4m.
- Lung time is 1sec, her reach is 6m, you can run for 4m.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/T0ACY4TKXLX4/image.png
Its not up to you to decide, its up to how good Nurse is. If they're good, no matter your choice, you get hit.
The only chance for you to out run her lung range is she has to pause and check which direction before lung, good Nurse doesnt give you this precious time, she instantly lung post blink.
I dont complain on Nurse because great Nurse is rare; good Nurses makes the game end fast, I dont have to endure the pain; average Nurse feels fun.
oh ok...
so a nurse doesn't miss attacks because the survivor outplayed her... no no no... if a nurse ever misses she is just not good. gotcha.
no true scotsman isn't a good argument.

I don't either, Skull Merchant can be Fun if they don't do that boring 3 gen strat.... But I hate that three gen strat
I'm honestly too petty to quit in those scenarios.
also I play trapper... gotta take the 3 gens from the other side sometimes. XD

My first time seeing a survivor bot was today when somebody DC'd against a skull merchant on RPD.
They can fail skillchecks from Oppression/Overcharge, which was surprising to learn. And the bot also caused us to 3gen because they only ever repaired gens that weren't being watched.
if the killer was devoted to the 3 gen... the 3 gen was innevitable
-
is the issue here lag? or maybe pressing the wrong button?
-
honestly... not what I expected from the title.
didn't know people got motion sickness from that. they should change it like they did with the doctor
-
"I already know if I switch to killer I'm getting nothing but high skilled SWF"
no you don't. unless they tell you, or maybe one is streaming so you checked... you cannot know who is in a swf. even if they are on the same platform.
you also don't know how skilled they are before the game.
you'll have hard matches sometimes, and sometimes 3 solos will leave you on hook when they could have saved you.
but blaming it on "ghosts" or in this case "nothing but high skilled SWF that will abandon me" won't help anyone. shake the dust off and go next. you'll find good matches.

@Xernoton said:
Probably because she is the one crutch for killers to compete with the strongest thing in the game. A fully stacked, well coordinated SWF that know exactly what they are doing. Even Blight struggles at that level.
For casual players Nurse is way too strong though. It's kind of a dilemma. If they make Nurse more fair in general, then nothing remains to keep the strongest thing in the game in check. And you can't exactly nerf these groups either without that affecting weaker groups too.
but good nurses are a rare breed. and there's no real in between a good nurse and say... "I could have attacked but I pressed blink again! #########!".
the vast majority of nurses a casual will ever see is not a good nurse. if even they even see one...

I swear i am just gonna save some notes to my pc. So whenever someone tell me "Break the LoS" i can copy paste to here.
I know. I am doing that. The point is "Break the LoS" is not good counter. It's just not enough to face with this killer. She needs more counters.
Gosh, Trapper, the weakest killer in the game has more counters than Nurse.
it is a good counter. just stop running the same way all the time.
nurse is insanely strong because of how precise she can be. and you can use it against her. give yourself as many options as possible and she will have to guess or safe blink.
also as it was said before, stealth. a searching nurse is what you want. not a chasing one.

have yet to see one... but I do not like quitting matches

If so you'll want to rebind your buttons ASAP to separate the Action and Interact buttons... you'll get caught on a lot of things like this... Pinhead being the worst.
My own settings (I think off top of my head) are: -
- L2 for Sprint
- R2 for Use Item
- L1 for Action
- R1 for Interact
- Triangle for Pick Up item
- Circle for crouch.
Doing this will stop a lot of interactions you don't want from crossing over.

the killer is always engaged in something that gives them bp, usually in more than one category.
the survivors usually engage only in one at a time. there are 4 survivors, not everyone can get the altruism or chase bp.

I don’t know what your experience has been, but I’ve personally yet to see a team (SWF or solo queue) recover from 3v1 at 5, 4, even 3 gens unless the killer allows it. Like… the killer literally has to allow the survivors to come back to win by easing up. And even then the most they can manage is a 2E.
It's why I said it depends.
Depends on how fast you got the hook (aka what is the gen progress), the killer you picked, how long it takes for the survivors to realize you are tunneling, if they take hits for the tunneled, how long the tunneled survivor can keep you occupied.
If someone dies at 5 or 4 gens... yeah. You very likely got this
Edit- btw... I consider a killer win when at least 3 survivors die

Tbf killers are essentially guaranteed a win by turnotunneling 1 survivor out at the start of the match.
Not really. It depends.

I don't opt out when I see nurse... and again, I'd rather have people opt out before the match starts then spend time in cue, match starts, everyone DC's or gives up on hook or just stands there going hit me hit me...
I'd rather wait in cue for an extra few minutes and get a team that wants to take on the challenge versus walking out of a boring ass match that half or 3/4 the team quit instantly. But again, I actually play the game for the challenge and the fun, I know a lot of killer mains just want to steam roll at 5 gens and have no interest in a good back and forth match, so DCs and hook opt outs don't bother them.
Ok. I would never dodge either. Cause I don'r really care.
Are we all the players? Do we even represent the average?
People WILL dodge. Queue times for some killers will be absolutely horrible. It is not a good idea.

Most survivors are running some sprint burst already or Lithe or MFT.
If the concern is really that deep, then have loadout lock before you cue. Still let's you leave a lobby if you don't like the killer or survivor team all with the same name and outfit but prevents the smallest fraction of situations you are talking about.
It really isn't that big of a deal. And again, I'll deal with the possibility of a hard counter versus dealing with a match that is boring and over in the first 30 secs because people don't want to face the killer. Running up and going "hook me, hook me" to opt out on hook or DCing.
People would just leave until they find the killer they wanna face.
No one would be able to play nurse or blight.
It's simply a terrible idea

That's true. Neither one of us was willing to accept the loss. I fully admit that/ However as someone who plays both sides, I would be the killer letting the survivor open the door.
but why would you not be the survivor letting the killer get the faster kill in the same scenario?

Outside of Spine Chill what is "Hard Counter".
Spine Chill is no better than actually looking around and seeing the Wraith shimmer, or exposing Ghost Face or just happening to see Myers standing there looking at you.
If that one perk is so game breaking though, it can be re-worked. Again, I'd rather people see the killer and stay in the match and have a little longer cue than deal with, I blink as Nurse and instantly DCs begin. That's just zero fun.
detection perks vs stealth killers. plus sprint burst.
maps and whatever the perk is called vs trapper and hag.
iron will/other stealth perks vs. spirit
lucky break vs oni (hilariously... also no mither)
etc, etc...

That's what i'm saying add a lullaby. Lullaby in DBD is a mechanic, not just huntress. For example the following killers have a "lullaby"
- Sadako
- Trickster
- Huntress
- Freddy
- Twins
By their nature:
- Lullabies are non-directional.
- Lullabies have a fixed, unalterable range.
- Lullabies are not affected by Unlockables that influence the Terror Radius.
- Lullabies are not suppressed by the Undetectable
- Currently, the only way to suppress a Killer's Lullaby is by entering a Snowman
I meant more as in, what music?

no you see... you can't put tapes on vcrs that have no power.

My dream changelist for him
- Addon pass (remove tomestone pieces, or heavily nerf them so they are only usable at endgame or something)
- Rework each tier to actually be unique and powerful in their own ways.
- Tier 1
- 4.6 m/s movement speed (normal movement speed)
- Normal vaulting speed
- Normal pallet breaking speed
- Reduced Lunge
- Undetectable
- 16 meter lullaby
- Takes 10 seconds to tier up at max range, down to 5 at close range
- Tier 2
- 4.8 m/s movement speed (faster than normal)
- Normal Lunge
- Basekit 5 stack fireup
- Basekit 25% enduring
- Basekit mini-pop on gen break of 5%
- 16 meter terror radius
- 16 meter lullaby
- Takes 20 seconds to tier up at max range, down to 10 at close range
- Tier 3
- 4.4 m/s movement speed (slower than normal)
- Longer Lunge (basekit coup)
- Stuns last twice as long but the pallet is automatically broken.
- His lunge can break pallets
- All survivors are exposed
- Basekit 5 stack fireup
- Basekit Ruin effect
- 32 meter terror radius
- No lullaby
- tiering up to tier 3, puts you in a locked animation for 2 seconds.
- Lasts 60 seconds
- Tier 1
- When not stalking for 5 seconds, you slowly lose your stalk such that you lose 100% of the stalk after 30 seconds of not stalking.
- Remove the cap on stalking survivors, why is there a cap on his power?
- Give a bonus to stalking more than one survivor
- Fix the stalk mechanic so you can still stalk people if they have part of them showing.
- Rework mirror addons to give you some benefits but not be able to leave that tier. So you have one for tier 1, 2 and 3, that do some cool or negative thing, but make it so you cannot leave that tier.
- Leaving tier 3 now puts you into tier 1.
- Give survivor some kind of onscreen element to more easily see what tier the killer is in, but only show it after the first tier up.
You would need to do number tweaks on each tier at that point, but that is the general gist.
Tier 1: You are stealthy, move normally, but not TOO stealthy, because you have a lullaby, in general, the goal is to get out of it, but you could have scratched mirror to do some interesting things with tier 1
Tier 2: You are less stealthy (no longer undetectable), but you move faster, vault faster, break faster, and overall are just faster.
Tier 3: You are way less stealthy, and you move slower, but your lunge is really long (like coup long). You can vault faster. However, with no lullaby you can synergize with undetectable perks like trail of torment. You also break pallets way faster. Basically, you become an unstoppable juggernaut, albeit a little bit slower than normal. But, you can be stunned by pallets harder, at the cost of breaking them. Your lunge can break pallets very quickly, encouraging survivors to either hide, or to try and pallet stun you.
General gist is to encourage using the different tiers in more strategic ways, while eliminating the "99 my expose and sneak up on a survivor with 0 counterplay andimmediate down them) while making his "power" more powerful. Basically hes just a buff m1 killer.
lullaby? what lullaby? his chase music?
the stalk runs out cause he was made very early on...
