I know just busting your chops.

So...
This achievement wants you to repair the last generator as the last survivor and then exit through the gates. I'm planning to use resilience + wake up + spine chill + dh/sb +bringing a medkit and 99ing my heal so I can heal in a pinch at the gates. This is one of the last achievements I have left that I have to go out of my way to do so I'm trying to get it now. To people who went out of their way for this one like me, how did you do it?
My big question is whether, if you're on a gen and the killer closes the hatch, if you escaped through the gates after would it count? The hatch basically automatically finishes all gens and triggers egc so would the code count that as you also finishing the last generator? Because that would make the achievement one thousand times easier.
It doesn't count if the killer closes the hatch. This has got to be the most lucked base achievement ever. Not only do you have to finish the last gen after all your teammates die, you have to do it before the hatch is closed and escape through the exit gates.

Plauge: First off, wear a mask girl. You know the times. You've probably heard that if you play her. You're focused and hardworking. Your strength is survivor determined, so it can get frustrating. But you're trying and learning as you go. Keep up the good work and don't be afraid to try new things.
Buba: Oh boy, I have to hold my tongue here. I'm not a fan considering I've met some not so nice Buba players. But, those who play well really want to fight the stigma. You play fair, but see it through to the end. If you played fairly and well, don't be afraid to send a GG.
Twins: Like Mikey, you kind of like scaring people. I can't tell you how many times I've screamed because Victor has jump scared me. You have an attachment to both of them, You try not to rely on just one of them and almost feel bad for not using both equally.
Blight: Don't deny you like pinball (no shame though). You like strategy and learning new techniques. Keep yourself mentally stimulated or you go nuts. You might really like the Zero Escape series, lots of puzzles.
Trickster: Now, I don't know enough about yet, but you're definitely into KPOP. And don't worry, I am too. Maybe a bit of a thong for bad boys.
Well we can all tell what you usually type and it isn't thing ๐

Just make a sandwich instead of buying a burger. Done now you have enough money for a character.

Even if he's weak, I'm looking forward to try Trickster... and I want his perks, so counting my bloodpoints, archive challenges and dailies, I have about 1,5 million saved for spending on him. Even if it's just for the perks.
I thought blood points capped at 1mil?
-
It's kind of better to just make your own. Because of how dated the previous discussion and posts are they might not be relevant.

The only thing I'm not looking forward to is the fact that every killer in the game is going to start using star struck. it will be a mess.
It'll definitely slow the game down because people will have more incentive to cleanse totems.
-
An Indian could definitely have some potential for a chapter like bakasura as a killer. Apologies if I'm ignorant on the correlation between country and beliefs.

Always look on the bright side of life.
If life seems jolly rotten there's something you've forgotten.
-
Hillbilly I hate using his chainsaw. Bubba and Freddy because I hate them. The Twins because they're lame and boring.
-
This brings me back to Evolve before you'd start the match and drop from the dropship they'd have some cool dialogue before each match and was dependant on who was in the game. Damn 2k.
-
Why don't mods close old threads
-
Ah yes legality the chokehold on expression.

Good ol team ninja, proving that with enough determination, coding one handed is totally possible.
And they seem to do pretty well with balancing as well so bhvr should probably call and ask for some tips ๐
-
Not enough jiggle physics they need to have DOA level of jiggle physics now that's a company that puts their heart into their work.
-
Honestly that's what bothers me about killer add-ons as a whole some things like trapper carrying additional traps should be base kit. I hope what they start doing or what they are doing is looking at what add-ons are being most frequently selected and the outcome of said matches when they're taken.

Please no kids killers in an adult game
Too late already have Freddy he kills kids.
-
Like other people have said only get it if you can get your money back otherwise it's just charms and cosmetics nothing big.
-
It'd be nice to see some proof just saying. With the right team it can be doable in purple ranks but no way in hell would I sell a red rank killer short of only 1 kill even if they weren't to use camping and tunneling.
-
Rancor & NOED almost always guaranteed at least 1-2 kills.
-
Run around in the basement or stand right behind him I think might work both will take a hell of a long time I bet though. You can't get any altruism points but an iridescent in that category could help.
-
There's multiple rarities of keys instead of only 1 escape they could have it where depending on the level of key that's how many can escape. Pink would be 4, Purple could be 2-3 green could be 1 or stay as it is, useless.

People calling holding W boring... I'm not really sure what else survs are supposed to do? Holding W is how you run away from killers. It's the designated "run away" button. If there are no pallets or windows, holding W is the only option survs have. Should they just stand still and let the killer down them to avoid being boring?
######### me, people really will whine about anything.
You're supposed to look to the side of you but not at the killer and hold S or D duh.
-
What's the time it takes to complete a gen with 2 people on it compared to just 1?
-
๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ฃ
-
I can understand the irritation with keys but BT? How are the survivors supposed to know your not going to face camp? I run BT almost every game because of the way the killer plays.

@Kirkylad said:
The problem isn't gen speeds it's the vast difference between SWF gen efficiency and solos. So if you add this to the game only solos are going to suffer.
That really is the main issue is that solo is nowhere close to where swf is if it was at least near they could balance around it but as it is now it's a completely different ballgame.

Okay thank you

A little off topic but does lightborn not work on getting lightburned?

that takes 10x longer wdym
If somebody wants to get out of the match so bad they can wait less then a minute.
-
From the sound of it they need to give the survivors a reason to cleanse and more consistency with hit and fountain.
Would fountain locations be better if they're in the same spot every game?
-
@chadbeastofprey said:
i'm against skill checks cause i don't want to be forced to stay in a game but i am for the idea of just holding down a button.
Well if you failed the skill check it would be the same then just purposely fail the skill checks
-
Implementing a survivor getting shaved if they don't cleanse it in time like deep wound come help a bit. I'm not too familiar with what the plague is lacking because I don't have her. If it's her gen pressure/chase/ or just crappy power.
-
It could be that his hurtbox stays out longer than dead hard is active like if someone dead hard to early and you hit him and the end of your lunge. Victor would be essentially that.
-
Sadly it's no different with killer I've been on both sides killer throws down bps tunnels/camps survivor bps gen rush
-
Sweet now I know how to sneak up on the bugger. Can you initiate crush action while crouching or do you have to be standing?
-
I agree as a person with no friends I think they should make people who have friends have less enjoyable gameplay. Buffing killers and solo play would be a fools errand and a waste of time
-
Gross Rap, don't get me wrong the OGs knew how to bring it but this modern c-rap is whack.

I'd modify this suggestion a little.
After Prestige I, all perks start at tier 2.
After Prestige II, all perks start at tier 3.
Prestige III remains bragging rights.
This would not only make Prestiging more worthwhile, but as the total number of perks increase, it would actually take less bloodpoints to get all perks to tier 3 by Prestiging a character up to Prestige II, than not.
That is an excellent addition. It has a nice reward to prestige like you said.

Mine keeps eating the tapes.
Ain't that the worst
-
Monstrous shrine hands down super OP hard enough already to kobe and hook timers are too short.
-
Like most people says run BT it comes in handy in a lot of situations. You can't always save at the best time and the extra survivor can really help.
-
If you have the opportunity to slug all 4 it's completely understandable but if you go out of your way it's kind of a jerk move but from the sounds of it it was well deserved so props to you.

I felt like such a potato because the other day at red ranks I was accidentally blowing up pretty much every single skill check and got my team found out so quick. I'm surprised no one said anything to me after those rounds
I usually blow up then gen when I'm being over zealous getting great skill checks.

Same and I even use better together too, but it only seems to attract my teammates whenever the killer is following them
Those are the high ranks that got there by sacrificing their teammates for hatch points.
-
I'm fine with the rift being grindy it's for premium cosmetics whatever. But having perks ( a major part of the game) require you to devote hundreds of hours to play is bogus. You could buy all the characters but still have to spend hours to get the full experience of trying out different perk combinations.

@GodLikeTerror said:

This I do agree with, but at the same time I don't think they want to do that. The grind is usually what keeps people playing games regardless. There are way more games that have grinds much much more heavier than dbd, and it's what keeps people busy usually. Outside of the grind you don't have a whole lot to actually work for on this game.
Yeah that's what sucks they really don't have any incentives to keep you playing besides actually grinding to get the full experience.
-
All they'd need to do personally is remove perk tiers. When you have the majority of the characters but you can't mess around because that survivor/killer have any doesn't perks it kinda feels bleh
-
Some people get mad at anything just tell them to have their wife call her boyfriend so they can relieve some stress.
