I hope his ability is to throw the survivor. His M2 could be grapple I don't know how many dead people Jason has thrown but it wasn't enough. Throws survivor if they hit something instant down.

I'd like more zombies please

People say the cosmetics don't affect programming but it seems to be the case for dbd.

LMFAOOOOO
One of my friends ALWAYS gets found first- we used to yell at him all the time to hide a little bit and STOP MAKING SCRATCH MARKS SO EARLY IN THE GAME! It was brutal when he started playing but now we don't mind when he gets found first, cause he can actually run the killer for a good bit now.
I think my wife will take comfort in knowing she's not alone 99% of the time she'll get found first and even if it's a group of people she gets targeted.
-
Man OP caught a lot of fish
-
I feel bad for the OP how many times they've had to repeat themselves to properly explain what they're saying. Alas comprehension is lost and knee jerking reigns supreme.
More on topic though people will use meta because they want to win and that's the perks to use and blight doesn't have a lot of synergy with other perks that's your answer.
-
Looks Suuuuuper lame
-
Illusions can already tell you the survivors location right?
-
Unfortunately like many have stated fair is subjective so you'll always have that person that it isn't fair unless he's stomping the other team. Do what you find fun. As much as I play survivor and would love to face fun killers that's not always going to be the case.
I do have to say though play like you want but don't take a bad game with a toxic player out on the next team... of course unless it's the same people then school them with your phD in toxicology ๐.
-
My favorite thing to do to troll as nemesis is if the survivor gets downed near a zombie I'll pick them up, keep the zombie to my left and as soon as they wiggle out the zombie hits them and downs them again. This method is saved for toxic survivors.
-
I can't go without small game I already know where all the totems spawns are but I'm too lazy
-
How about the survivor who is hooked gets points if the killer is within a certain range and gen progress is done because they're technically helping because the killer won't leave.

You're right that you still get points but if you down all survivors on their respective first chase and they instakill themselves on hook you won't be pipping that game. Or at least I'm fairly confident you won't be, similar to the survivor side of 2 iris but still de-pipping.
Yeah killer is still de-pipping just wanted to add that.
-
@Carth said:
Whats your proposed solution? The same scenario exists killer side when survivors give up/dc/kill themselves on first hook. I do agree with your points about it being unfun and crappy but there's not really any good options here. Slamming gens and escaping is the best option out of a set of terrible choices.
Killer still gets points for dc and 1 time hook deaths
-
It is bothersome I mean the survivors should probably just kneel and weep while you carry their teammate to the hook because altruism bad.
-
Killers have an advantage at the loading screen they can see the survivors and what they're bringing. Last second switching is whatever it removes an additional advantage that the killer has.
-
I'd honestly like if flip flop you could see the hooks while you're on the ground.

Depleted Ink Ribbon makes the Zombies respawn near instantly, so you'd absolutely be able to roam and smack some zombies while under No Way Out's block duration.
Though I can't recall if the Zombies are coded to each spawn at a specific gate, or if it's possible to have both in one with none in the other.
It'd be cool if they spawned 1 in gate and one outside

I know you are not serious but they are different licenses. I wanna also see Predator in game.
Honestly me too. Played the hell out of P:HG when it came out always been a big fan. Just looked it up apparently there's a lawsuit on it between the original writers and Disney(shutters)
-
Already have Predator his name is Freddy
-
I know I'll probably take a break busted my butt to get the rift finished now to experiment between LoL/HotS/Smite. Wanted to try a Moba

Has anyone used Depleted Ink ribbon with Bloodwarden or No way out. Wanted to try it but haven't yet.

We need more bloodpoints in games.
Would love an increase to the cap as well as a boost to score event amounts.
I would like to see perk tiers removed it literally triples the grind
-
Because the grind is insane as of right now there's 84 Killer perks and 95 survivor perks and with tiers that's 252 for killers 285 for survivors. Yes I know you're not going to get every perk but in order to get a teachable you either have to get lucky on the shrine or level that character up. And until later in the levels you only get 1 perk per blood web. Not counting doing 50 bloodwebs over if you want prestige cosmetics or if you want to play multiple characters. It's also extremely prevalent on the killer side as well do test synergy/fun of perks with certain killers.

I always run BT for tunnelers and campers. Can't do a safe unhook when they're face camping.

I do not mind the idea, but what about the achievements, like the 4 man escape? I assume they can't change these with ease given that is apparently the reason adept achievements haven't been changed or whatever. A developer stated that Sony was really prissy about those.
I think they could always change it where depending on the type of key you bring is how many survivors can escape out of the hatch. Pink can be 4, Purple could be 2or3 switch green to be only 1 or leave as is.

I was being sarcastic. Camping, tunneling, slugging are all strategies and not a problem. Devs have said this over and over again
More to the point. People keep suggesting ways to "punish" killers for camping. Yet never offer up a way to compensate killers. Camping, tunneling, slugging are all ways to create pressure. How should killers be rewarded in the form of pressure on the survivors. If you make something like camping less viable
Do to map size, set ups, etc. It can already be difficult to create pressure as a killer. We don't need one of the ways to do so ruined.
I know you were being sarcastic I just had fun with it. I think the issue is people are stuck in the mindset of when the game was first released that it's every survivor for themselves, and in some matches that's the case. But at the balancing level it is a cooperative game but people throw fits when survivors work together. I think the glaring issue is like you mentioned pressure but Bhvr has so many bandaid perks instead of addressing the problem.
-
@BrokenSouI said:

Sure. How about gen speeds are slowed by about 50 % while I have someone hooked then
That's actually a neat idea number tweaks might be needed like it isn't activated when you're close to the hook. But unfortunately Bhvr would probably just make it a perk.
-
So what about slowing it instead
-
@Boss said:
Tested before, abused greatly.
Was it tested as a pause or slowing the hook timer?

I had a fun game earlier today with Tinkerer, Dragon's grip, Pop, Overcharge. The survivor wasn't happy about the tinkerer & pop though.

You could always grind for cosmetics and there's a certain extent to grinding where is just to much someone posted it here before how long it takes and it's a ridiculous amount of time.

I'd honestly like 1 more zombie because of how big the maps can be.

I actually took a month break when they had that pallet bug(dunno how tf that happened) Glad I'm not on console probably would have never came back
-
So what kind of definition of sweaty are we going for because Blight and Nurse are understandable because their power could fail at any moment ๐. They're just repeatedly trying to see if it'll work this time.
If we're talking about somebody who plays like they bet their soul on the outcome of the game I would say Bubba/Spirit.
-
Tunneling isn't hard to do. If the killer wants you out of the game they can do it with ease, which sucks because hitting skill checks on the hook isn't what anybody considers fun. Don't know what brainless killers people run into if they find you off the hook and you're running them for over 30 seconds they're bad. And no survivors don't just appear at generators and start working on them.

Hehehe, 1234 posts, haha, it's funny.
But, on to a serious note.
I'm actually surprised by how long I stuck and how many posts were made. You may not remember me, but I'm Majestic_Herman. I changed my name because I didn't like my old one anymore. Obviously I'm outshined by more popular people like GeneralV1, Boss, GoodBoyKaru5, ClownisKing, etc. So no one might not even remember me at all. But, that doesn't matter. It just feels nice seeing how long I've been around.
I never stayed in one spot for too long because I always felt extremely timid, I disliked talking to people normally, but I love Dead By Daylight so I figured I'd attempt at conversing in the forums. Yeah, I didn't do it for so long, I went on "vacation" from dbd and the forums for awhile... twice.
But, I came back and I just became more active in the community and I have a lot of fun talking to everyone. Hell, I got plastered twice and made two meme posts. One had a following and the other got me chewed out by... I think Orion? Because of how stupid it was. "Dead by Daylight in first person in VR" Oh my lord there were more people angry at me than there was who were interested lmfao! But, it was funny, I just hope they knew I was joking.
The other post was a meme post about me ranting at the Devs for nerfing the killer's butts and how we should fight back. That one did well. I was surprised. Especially when I had more big posters commenting on the post! That threw me off so much!
It feels weird, but I'm glad I'm in this community with everyone, I love chatting with people, get their takes on certain views, I especially love talking to GeneralV1 and their views and ideas on certain things. They seem like a lot of fun. Also ######### posting with some people is great.
Anyway, I'm starting to do a forum series as well, I doubt it will be anywhere near as popular as "I've watch so you don't have to" or "interviewing" or "how would you fix."
Well..
My little series would be called "Your dream cosmetic (insert number)" I made two of these posts already and I'm on a backlog at the moment. But, I take your ideas that you have and I draw them, then post them in artworks tagging the corresponding requestee. So, as a heads up, if you see the post, feel free and drop a request. I'm doing this because it would be absolutely fun to be more engaged with the community and so I can try to fight off my depression. I've tried doing art before, but some void just kept motivation. It's a long story.

This is a current Alpha I'm working on, I'm no where near done with this. I still gotta add the shrubbery, background, details, shading, etc. I just sent this as what you might expect.
No these are not commissions, this is absolutely for free, for fun, and for me to get better at art so I can actually get back into it and crawl out of this depressive rut I've found myself in
Well, this was awkward.
But, I hope you have a great time, because you don't deserve to be kicked down in the ground like we all have during 2020 and 2021. None of us do
For a split second I thought ghostface was flipping me off.
-
Tunnel if you want. It's a dull play style and sucks for the survivor but it's your choice. Just don't complain how survivors play and what perks they use either because survivors aren't suppose to cater to killers either.
Both sides have ridiculous expectations for each other.
"I was just unhooked you have to run to the other side of the map and wait 30seconds before chasing a survivor."
"You shouldn't be able to save your teammate when I'm standing in front of the hook"
-
Never traded in shards for blood points. Think about how long it takes to get 2k shards and compare it with 150k blood points.
-
That's like me and coldwind farm get that map a whole bunch of times.

See, the grind isn't even an illusion and you'll perform significantly worse with Tier I perks than Tier III perks.
At no point will you perform as well as you would with Tier I Play With Your Food or Adrenaline than you would Tier III versions of those same perks.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2316298#Comment_2316298
They don't see it as a "problem" because they're making money and still somehow keeping players. In all honesty, this is easily one of the biggest issues of the game in general (not counting bugs), and so many fans wanted this grind to be made better.
If this is somehow not on their radar, then they're failing to give what the community wants.
They have to realize that the grind for players (especially Survivors) is extremely arduous and new players will just get frustrated and leave to play another (and better) game instead. No one wants to have to spend such an incredibly long time to unlock everything that should be more readily available.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2316232#Comment_2316232
Well, the idea of giving more BP is still a double-edged sword. It gives Killers more Iri add-ons to work with, but also gives Survivors more items and tools to work with. The add-on/item balance won't be that much of an issue anyway, in spite of the fact that there'd be a substantial increase in Bloodpoints earned and the maximum capacity of them.
Iridescent add-ons are random though and honestly I don't think killers have any issues with getting blood points, I know I don't. Survivors on the other hand is a complete headache.
@Emeal said:
It isn't an issue really, because most perks you don't really need, if you learn to play well, perks are really just crutches.
The grind issue is an illusion cause you can do fine with Tier 1 Perks too.
What DOES need to change is how easy it is to level a character to get the teachables that are good for new Survivors/Killers.
Yeah you don't have to have perks but it's part of the gaming experience it's the equivalent to saying you don't need a specific gun in an fps to win you don't but it's part of the game.
I don't see the problem with getting new perks faster it actually speeds up the process in getting to a point in balancing then because they're being used at the top level with different perks to see their synergy and powerfulness you don't get that running them barebones.

I'm always the lucky guy that unequips Unbreakable, because I haven't been slugged in 20+ matches, only to get slugged in the next match. Or who brings a medkit for a rift challenge and then faces 3 plagues in a row.
I honestly equip unbreakable/flip flop because I don't like getting slugged and I know when I run those I won't
-
Wouldn't they need to add a large amount of characters to properly represent non hetero people that's not including ethnicities that people want as well to be included.
-
This late into the game not a good idea.
