It's a strategy killers use. Either you annoyed them, their using you as bait, there's only you and another survivor that they want to down so they don't get hatch, they are looking to get points by having folks healing then downing again, or they can't find you.
It's called "slugging" survivors.
I think he knows what slugging is, I think he's more asking about the complete abandonment from his team mates.
-
Doctor is now useless. Demogorgon can not only 3 gen, but lock down gates and hooks at the same time. He's awesome!
-
Enduring seems really good on him on paper (haven't tested it), his shred allows him to hit from further away. Wack spirit fury on that and it's a guaranteed hit when spirit fury procs.
-
Sounds like some weird issue transferring from between "shut down the trial" stage to the "Survivor DCed" stage. You can see he scored a few points, so he did exist in game for at least a few seconds.
-
I've had no issue with gen rushes. I've learnt from my wraith days that abandoning chases for gens is important.
-
He needs some endgame help imo.

Tbh I figured it out quickly.
It's when his hands are fully up and stop moving. That's your visual que.
It's also about when the hiss is at its highest pitch.
Oh is that it? I've just got it instinctively down by this point, probably picking up on that without realizing.

So just now I figured out you DO NOT need a 4k to get the achievement you just need to earn enough points to earn the "Merciless Killer" scoring at the end. I got a 3k but made enough points and earned my adept. This might not be news to a lot of people but for me I have become woke!
This is possible only at the higher ranks (15-20). pass that you need 4k's 99% of the time to get merciless
-
None. Demogorgon got special treatment because no rig was needed to create him; they were given the rig by the Stranger Things team.
-
The rescuer has to be awake for BT to trigger. If he is, BT triggers and the survivor is safe(-er)
-
No. Rarity searching was broken af with pink perks, to the point that even with 4 perks, it's going to be hard to find one.

I suggest something better. Why do we need killers? Let survivors spawn without a killer. No challenge and no stress
I somewhat agree with this actually. I know you meant it sarcastically, but a mode where we can walk around maps alone as survivor or killer could let us have chances at trying to learn how to optimize looping or, with certain killers, find niche little areas where a trap might be useful, or a good place to stay undetected.

Anything to do with SCPs.
Those things are just cringey as hell, and 9 times out of 10, just ripped out of a TV show and changed ever so slightly.
Thankfully the devs aren't allowed to profit off them, so it won't happen.
They aren't allowed to profit off 173 specifically, however they can do most other ones with the writer's permission.

That might have just been enough. You'd be surprised how close charges can get in an item

He might have been running botany or streetwise, or both.

Chunky: I do like the child's Play franchise but Chucky just wouldn't work gameplay wise. Unless there's an option to switch between human Chucky and the doll however let's be honest people who want Chucky want the doll not to run around as a random dude. Just gameplay and thematically I can't see him being added.
The Creeper: The creator is a pedo I don't need to add anything else on that I don't want to support that scum by give him any money.
Jeff the Killer: For the love of god please stop suggesting this edgy mary-sue self-insert cringe fest of a character. If you want to play as a a male teen who stabbed things with a knife just play the legion ( you have Frank and Joey take your pick) also don't bring up Jane the Killer because same thing goes as with Jeff just play Legion ( you have Susie or Julie because the Legion don't discriminate)
I took a huge break from this game and came back when Legion was just released and I was playing SWF with a friend. I met the legion and legit thought Jeff the Killer was chasing me.

If those chains are dynamic and swing as you move then I'm getting it.

And you want a 10% speed boost for failing your objective? Double-standard much??
If anything, it's repayingn ot playing the game with a perk slot.
-
Secretly hoping we get an early release so I'm not staying up till 2am waiting for it
-
I get pissed when it lands, but I don't consider it toxic since it rarely ever actually saves you.

before you could recover your exhaustion even while running, they changed it so if you run it doesn't recover, that was the nerf
Oh, I thought the new update was nerfing it.
In either case, MOAR EXHAUSTION ADDONS!

There's also pwyf
Yeah but that's finicky af, plus I don't have Michael and I already spent my shard this week on Tenacity. I want something that works in the endgame. If you run NOED and this perk, yeah you're goin' fast, but you've basically spent most of the game with 2 perks then.

Nice

Im not sure how i feel about it, I get why it's there. To avoid those bs hatch standoffs. But like, the time seems weird to me. It almost seems to come to halt when someones down anyways so it still drags out. Ive personally never died to egc except once to show my girlfriend how cool it looks. Never seen it happen to anyone else either. Plus unless you have blood warden or close a hatch someone opened before the gates, as killer you dont get jack from it , and a survivor it generally means you won.
Im not saying its bad or good. Just one those things im curious to see how others would think of changing it
EGC is built to force survivors to escape because they have no objectives. A downed or hooked survivor, however, creates an objective, so the timer is slowed a lot to give survivors a chance to save their friend.

NOED already increases speed. Combine the two together and that seems really unhealthy.
NOED's a hex though, to punish survivors who didn't look for totems.

Just No. Exhaustion add-ons shouldn' even be a thing after the exhaustion nerf
Exhaustion nerf? What?
-
Ghostface is fine as is. Whack some NOED and distressing on him and you'll be tripping survivors out with where you are only to screw them up from the darkness in the end game.
-
Good. Just found out some Mccote nudes have been leaked.
-
-
Insidious. I know how to use it correctly and it's so satisfying to just ######### someone up before they realize you were even on the same side of the map as them.

@AetherBytes Don't thank me yet, we still have 27-28 hours to go!
Ack
I'm almost 24 hr ahead, so 17th for me is in like 1:30H.

Depends on how you look at
itthe survivors.FTFY @Masantonio
-
They drop stuff about the same time every time so that sounds right @Peasant , thanks!
-
There's no PTB open right now; the demogorgon PTB has finished and the next one won't be for a while.
-
How much longer in hours till it drops? My timezone is way different so I have 0 idea when it's available for purchase.

Every single argument about the new DS being OP boils down to killers wanting the perk to do literally nothing if they have half a brain cell.
Current DS has counterplay. If they run into you, slug them. If they jump in a locker, ignore them. 60 seconds isn't really that long of a time.
If you do a lot of things before coming back and downing them again, then their DS will be close to being gone so just leave them for another ~15 seconds then get them.
People just can't seem to get it in their damn heads that the perk is supposed to put you in a power position for 60 seconds after being unhooked. If you don't want the survivor to use that against you, then don't ######### with that survivor for 60 seconds, period.
Sometimes the perk is going to put survivors in a guaranteed escape position near an exit gate. If you've let yourself reach this point of desperation, you probably don't deserve the kill. You could have downed the person unhooking.
Whats the new changes?

@Mister_Holdout said:
Killers that immediately go after the same survivor deserve to get D-striked.
But survivors who had the opportunity to safely move away from the hook do not deserve a free escape. If you put yourself in harms way after having the chance to get away safely, then you should not get the benefit of DS.
Why dont people listen when I tell them to make it TR based...? -
@johnyx said:
Crying about Noed and not about decisive strike, People who cry about Noed are only the ones who only play survivors
I'm not crying about NOED? I'm a killer who uses it a lot, I just want more interaction in it in return for more benefits.
-
Looping as a survivor.
-
@JnnsMu said:
You get a few Deviousness points for infecting the survivors but after that, the only way to get them is by puking on everything you see even though everyone is infected anyway. You always have to slug for the 4K and the bonus "Noone Escaped" points but you still have very little Deviousness. Meanwhile, strong killers can play super efficiently and still gain full Deviousness points even before "Noone Escaped" being added.
It seems like the Deviousness point gain was designed for games in which survivors constantly cleanse. However, the higher you go in ranks, the less survivors actually cleanse. There needs to be a Deviousness event for downing a fully infected survivor with a basic attack. This way, you get points regardless of wether or not the survivors cleanse.
And then you have legion

"Victories are earned, not given."
ROFL
The victory in EGC is given to the killer free of charge, effort or skill by the developers who once again implemented a cheesy solution to a bad game design decision THEY made and that the killler community whined long and hard enough about to get it implemented.
Didn't said killer just kill 3 people? Unless you mean the normal EGC, in which case if that gets a kill the survivor is either an idiot or the killer was able to maintain extreme pressure on the gates (not always possible, even with the best of killers). Or maybe when he stomps the hatch when a key opened it? If he gets a victory from a premature EGC then he's skilled; you don't win that scenario without trying hard.
-
Mangled. I suck at looping at don't have much of a chance without both health states.
-
@Exerlin said:
I like it! Especially the first idea. Maybe tune down the movement speed and replace hemorrhage with mangled and it would make for a much better perk to use and face than the current NOED
I thought speed might be an issue, probably 0.25/0.5/0.75 would be better.
-
Pretty sure it is.
-
I like it, but the numbers are iffy, the next step would be 64m, not unlimited, which at that point you can't even see the marks anyway.

I know that, hence why I'm wondering. I was going into Night Shroud on purpose, but kept triggering the Deep Wound timer.
Trigger it earlier, your TR doesn't just disappear, it reduces to nothing over the course of a second, meaning you can trigger it, but still have a (rapidly shrinking) TR for a second.
-
Michael gets global exposed and has insane lunge. That's pretty much why.

Poor excuse from the devs. Billy, Spirit, Nurse all are able to traverse the map alot quicker with their power, than they are by just walking. I dont see a problem with Demogorgon being able to do the same.
Because they are meant to traverse with their power. Demogorgon isn't, at least not with shred; his mobility is designed to move across the map quickly via his portals, not endlessly shredding.
-
@BBQnDemogorgon said:

Even then its barely a nerf.
The shred recovery after using it is being increased by 0.25 seconds.
A quarter of a second. 2 second ptb 2.25 live.
It'll be really hard to notice a change that small.
0.25 is a lot more than you think, especially in a chase.
Not saying don't nerf, just saying a lot of people don't seem to recognize how close chases can be sometimes.
-
Demogorgon is getting a nerf, but for good reason; his shred attack, if spammed, was faster than walking. So far this is the only nerf I've heard.
