Tbh I like pinhead how he is just all he needs to add is that addon that spawns more chainst after you open gate way and hit chain because with not having this addon the basekit chain number spawn isnt good for how hard it is to hit his power and how easy is to break chains.
I believe he was about to recieve some changes (probably buffs) but than it was canceled and like month or two after that we had been informed that his license is leaving the game.

It's a two-way street. Hooks are handled very poorly and players choose whether to capitalize on that or not. They, like all mechanics in the game, rely way too strongly on mutual respect. If you choose to tunnel, you choose to tunnel. The circumstances mean very little in the outcome. But if hooks didn't naturally have such high stakes, then it wouldn't even be an issue.
The fact is the more you spread hooks between all survivors the more time you give them for gens and increase your time to get a kill which is best slowdown effect in the game (fast kill, but even 4v1 on 1 gen left is totaly different situation than 3v1 on 1 gen left).
This means if killer doesnt play strategically in terms of hooking (you dont need turbo tunnel someone just being smart on who you see and who you chase to get hooks on him, you downed someone who was fresh hook and no pain res and you saw someone who was already hooked once and isnt hard to get or is already deat on hook so you decide to leave the downed as slug for preasure and go for the hook on more beneficial person) which makes astronomical difference.
Another factor that makes this problem is that game is more on kills counting as victory and getting pips than hooks which makes tunneling more used with slugging if the killers winning objective was like number of hooks and not kills than strats like proxycamping to secure second stage would be more used than tunneling because this gives you 2 hook stages compare to one per chase with tunneling but thats another topic.

if they did that, most likely they would reduce the time it takes to remove leeched after eating a mushroom. a more fun playstyle would be infect and then let them waste time but it seems leeching is more useful to set up for a deadly chase in head form with one survivor
She is just now infect than switch to head get down and hook and repeat which can be slow and boring so no wonder why very few people paly her.

45 seconds on one loop seems unhealthy if there is no pallet or window being used that can be played around
Yeah some people dont know how time is very rare in DBD and that 45 seconds is x3 survviors that are on gen each 50% of 3 gens which isnt small trase of to getting hit after 45 seconds thats just tunnel game at this point if killer gets that hook and 2 gens (3 can to) pop and third is almost done that isnt good thing.

Considering vecna is 110 his ability should be stronger than uknown who is 115 (uknown is super punishing so vecna is just upgrade with better skill expression that is way more rewarded than uknown if you hit your shots).

Last patch you could revault inside Kaneki and Wesker, so they probably tried fixing the collision and ######### it up.
Maybe because something simular i have had when springtrap was released when I played kaneki so its just maybe bug or devs trying to fix something and coding kinda took it different way.

In DbD gesture language, bodyblocking with basekit BT is asking for being tunneled. It would be impolite to refuse such a desperate request.
I think its risky bodyblocking with endurance after you are unhooked especialy when the unhooker you bodyblock for is healty like you giving yourself a hinder in being one shot and than wondering why killer goes again after you when there is guy who saved you who is full health or havent been even hooked.
Its just risky strategy that has its use but even downsides like this one that if you use it and killer uses brain and counts whats better for him he will go for you again so running off would be just better option.
-
I think its bugged now, kaneki always get bugged out like after springtrap droped I had many bugs while playing him or against him.
Just have to wait for bugfix patch I think it takes like two weeks since from release date of that new patch.

I see. So, in addition to having great mobility, excellent map control, and a guaranteed hit after his first dash (which leaves the survivor in a deep wound effect, slowing down the match), he also needs a hit after jumping over a pallet? Does that seem healthy for the game? It's one thing when we're talking about Wesker, 'cause Wesker's pretty balanced in my opinion, due to his "recovery time" after a failed second dash (or holding the second dash for too long)… but what price does Kaneki pays? Are we still in the same page? Are we still aiming for a healthier competitive and entertaining game? I can't help but ask myself that.
I think all killets that have dash ability that can vault have this hit after vault if survivor is close.
They cant attack immediately after vaulting so thats why they have this very short attack and for now its only ghoul and wesker, other killers that can vault pallets were old chucky (when he had his manual scamper) and krasue which both of them can attact after vault and dont go through cooldown.
Ghoul can vault fast when enraged but I dont think this thing is problem because it was nerfed (because of kidnap tech it was busted so devs make this hitbox super short), now for him to hit you if its not buged like now is that you would need to vault pallet or window and stay behind it or run into him after he vaulted to get hit by this and this goes for both wesker and ghoul, only difference is that ghoul is very buggy killer and some things are broken after big patches like new chapters, from what I read his power works at maximum of DBD capacity.
-
Definitely bug because ghouls hitbox after he vaults is super small xou would need to touch him so he could hit you (its even smaller than weskers).

People asked this before and some claim he feels bertter than nurse or pinhead but when I looked how his ability works I thought he wouldnt be so good on console due to his ability being very simular to nurses or pinheads in fuction.
Tbh I’ll wait for two weeks for first nerfs if they srcrew him up or wont be stupid.

Unknown definitely feels like the biggest looser this patch because of that. Vecna can spam his power and reliably get injures at a fast pace. In the right circumstances he actually has some really good snowball potential. Unknown doesn't have that, not at the average level since the skill ceiling for Unknown too high for too little of a pay off. He definitely needs some significant changes to his kit, but a faster recharge rate would just make him a spam happy killer.
Its simular situation like with springtrap who has simular tp ability but way stronger and vecna 2.0 to harmless its the same, harmless is just way more punished for missing.

Nurse is basically proof as to why the official stats are useless.
Indeed she is, if devs still balanced the game around stats like kill rates the pig would get massive nerfs (like it did after its release) and nurse would be buffed.

I don't think it's just indoor maps. Shelter woods main is sometimes missing one or both of its pallets as well. These could have been intended changes but it wasn't included in any patch notes.
Probably bugs if they arent mentioned in path notes I believe.
Its hard to expect all pallets in place after all these pallet density updates that went to both extreams combined with fragile DBD coding we know.

These abandon ideas are not if the killer is getting bullied, they are for if the killer is being abused by hacker.
I don't think abandons should be normalized in regular matches for killer until there is a killer bot but making situations where they can abandon from a hacker I find fair. there is no killer bot so its harder to give killer abandon during normal gameplay without ruining a lot of matches. Its shame that one player has to be there and endure being harrassed by cheater and than held hostage and if he leaves it counts to his time ban.

Make in game chat similiar to in lobby chat (make it an optional so you can disable it)This will never work because it shifts balance priorities intrinsically. The game already has a hard enough time trying to balance between Solo and SWF, and when you make things like that basekit, they change the structure of the game entirely. Not only do you then have to assume everyone will use it while making sure to not penalize those who opt out for valid reasons (especially when dealing with regions having multiple languages) and simultaneously rework any elements that are disproportionately affected by at will communication (like low mobility killers, the entire concept of stealth killers, etc.) SWF and its comms already clash with a lot of the game's design as it is. Unfortunately removing or blanket penalizing SWF is not something that can really be done, and the same goes for unrestricted communication as a basekit: DBD needs to be a different game for it to not clash directly with many of its design choices and even identity. It would have a better chance of working in a DBD 2 if that were designed around it inherently.
Phones at this point would be maybe better idea like from friday the 13 where survviors can find them and communicate with others and for balance purposes you can make them spread across the map in dangerous areas like one zones or endge of the map and give them batery so the talking is limited.
But I doubt something like this will happen atleast in this year and options like some wheel with some phrases will be more realistic option (still wont be swf level but better than nothing).

Gotta ragebait dat
No he is right survivor is hardest at lower levels of experience and mmr and the higher the survivors skill goes the easier they have it unless they face very good blights or high tier killers (s-tiers, high a-tiers like top 7 killers) but survivors like these can still win or draw (2 kills to 2 escapes).

Stop bringing up comp, i brought that up specifically to address a different point and to a specific person and not to you. And it has nothing to do with the rest of this discussion.
To answer your question, in general at high MMR i would say the tier list is as follows:
S Tier:
- Nurse
- Blight
A Tier:
- Ghoul
- Dracula
- Billy
B Tier:
- Singularity
- Spirit
C Tier:
- Lich
- Twins
- Wesker
Unviable:
- Everyone else
There might be a handful of other killers that can do into C tier, personally i main a handful of killers but generally play all of them a bit to at least understand them. And so this is based on my own experience with each of the killers. But perhaps there's someone who is just so good with one of the "unviable" killers that they prove it can be done. I don't know everything so i just have to base it on my own experience with the killers.
But generally i see it as, S, A, and B are all viable. C tier is really only viable if like, you are literally like, top 10 in the world at the killer, and then even the best trapper player in the world aint winning against a top team.
Yes, given the nature of DBD, that doesn't mean its impossible for the "unviable ones" to win. Just like with any tier list and due to the nature of RNG, and human interaction and the fact that mistakes can occur on both sides, of course its going to change.
But lets say you pick up every killer in the game, and had the best player for that killer in the world, play against the best 4 survivors in the world for a 100 matches on the same map with the same tiles and RNG generation. What would the result be?
I'd guess that the S tiers would probably win around 60-70% of the matches. A Tiers would win around 60-65% of their matches. B tier would win around 45-55% of the matches. C tier would win around 40-50%, and below that would be from around 0-40% of the matches, with several killers being super low (like trapper or skull merchant).
The way i see it is, if you can't win half your games in that scenario (because ideally against equally skilled opponents you should win 50% of the time) then the killer is not viable because you are going to lose more than you will win.
I think all are viable here on high mmr but wesker is tricky one he needs the egg addon and the player needs to minimaly control hug tech on command here but I would argue that instahugs are more needed here because wesker without them is just like 60-75% of the match m1 killer due to how his dashes work plus egg addon is must here without it you wont do much.
From those you mentioned the rest well it would be long to comment that who is good and who not but its highly dependent on player like onepumpwillie can win with perkless sadako or with perks against super good survivors but the amouth of skill and focus he needs to have is like super big and with same other killers like larry could achieve it minimaly 3x times faster (that win).
But against teams that are like comp level only few killers are viable like even good huntresses become just joke and killers like demo are just dogs without power against these teams.
-
Try repair your steam files and DBD ones and restart the steam and if this wont help well Idk what to do next but this always worked for me.
-
It seems to be buggy nowdays I hit m1 hit on hook survivor even when I aimed for unhooker and it played the injury sound of unhooker (ace) and I hit unhooked one on the hook (sable) even with the fact my end of weapon was near ace and it should hit him and I wont even start on autoaim here that thing is starting to happen way more than ever.

Those are for Killer. For Survivor I would expect much worse.
You can expect what you want but I dont think things like these that only benefit one side are good here and if some hazzard events on some maps were added logicaly killer is just one so his benefit would need to be better grom that hazzard event than survivors (like blood orbs areas from that one bloodmoon), so you guess it right they would be more favorable to killer because its 1v4 so even if killers effect for his benefit would be probably maybe harder to obtained he would still have better/stronger effects which would be counter productive here from the devs just adding new things that are bashed into their face by survvior player base because it has stronger effects on killer than for survivor.

No they won't. Demo received big overhaul and add on pass about one year ago. He's not bad killer, just other have kit that powercreeps him.
Demo is very bad killer (c-tier at best to be specific) only quality that he has is his shread thats only good thing he has (and funnily enough it can be crouch teched or easily doged sometimes), his teleports recieved some buffs but they are still worst killer teleport and probably mobility in the entire game (even sadako has better mobility or houndmaster) and his tp addons were butchered and nerfed without any valid reasons (some were only good on hex oriented buildss and that was it) so no demo is very outdated and weak killer by todays standarts and his kill rates are one of lowest too so his teleports and addons need change.

Turns out that the nostromo slow down can also affect survivors, or so I saw on a Slate clip
Can it? I never saw it but it procs when survivor leaves it so its super hard to get slowed (if it can slow survivor) only time will slow survivor is when like two or more are running behind the first survivor who leaves the pipe spot where the cold gas hits.

With the unreal engine five update to DBD BHVR can put more things on the map, like with the recent addition of two extra zombies to Nemesis in 2v8 which was stated to be too taxing in 1v4 in the old engine a long time ago. If BHVR was willing to push the envelope when it comes to map design by adding hazards to existing maps and/or new maps would you be up for it or do you feel like it maps worse to play on overall?
There is already hazzard on nostromo for the killer with the ice pipes, he gets slowed like by 50%.
Another hazzard can be counted like breakable walls when you break them as killer than can make some loops weaker but I not their big fan they cost you too much time for not that big advantage and on maps like dead dawng in main you must break them or you cant run chase in main if you killer doesnt have power to counter these windows like dracula, ghoul or wraith with action break/vault speed addons.
-
I think they will maybe buff demo in like weak or two after this update drops where they make their balance changes to new things like killer, perks, I would be very surprised if they would forget about demo who is part of this licence and his portals are super outdated plus his addons are dog trash except like 4 (2 of them are for shread and they are only addons for shread too).

Rarity doesn't mean much in this game unfortunately; if you make it rarer that just means the people with more bloodpoints to spend with have more of them than those who don't. It wouldn't really fix the issue much unfortunately.
The Ebony Mori is a iridescent killer offering, the highest rarity, and Killers still bring it all the time. Maybe it would work at first, but after a couple weeks the playerbase would have already stocked up thousands.Thing is ebony mori does way less than map offerings that have 100% chance of giving you that map they are for and even with that anti map offering addon there is still chance that map can be choosen (it kills that 100% but doesnt ban that map so it can be still be picked).
Ebony mori like all iri things (offerings and adons) are super easy to get on p100 characters you get like 2-3 per bloodweb level which costs what like game and half or two which isnt a lot and compare to guarantee map offerings all that mori does is just instead of picking the survivor when he is dead hook to have option to kill him in animation in that on the ground which counters like saves and thats it but guarantee map gives you way upper hand than ebony mori in matter of fact map offerings should be iri and mori just green (now with new rarity collors blue).

Freddy can be good of course. On top of being able to teleport he can spawn many dream pallets and at least when survivors are asleep his dream snares are good in chase and he has an add on that puts people back to sleep faster. At the same time I wouldn’t seem him as being lethal to the point of needing any change. I would sooner talk about the real issues such as map layouts and other more concerning problems. Finding the sweet spot on pallet density and addressing hyper gen focus seems more important to me. But the game isn’t so simple and any change can trigger issues that will also need addressing. Certain killers either their various strengths and weaknesses will need to be considered along with perks and other such elements from both sides. I think rocket science might be easier to master ……
Tbh freddy isnt bad but his dream pallets are so much map dependent that the difference between using them on RPD or coldwind are so huge (same as difference between playing ghostface and blight), like on RPD many loops are just run around especialy on that side under library many strong pallets but freddy can set there casounter dream pallet that makes that loops very unsafe to survviors that arent under effect of clock but on many other maps you dont get many places to spawn dream pallets from the start like maps as RPD offers so you just get 1 or 3 bad pallets and rest you must break to get them set plus good survivors arent so bad to run asleep into dream pallet and if they have to to make choice to run you than they will just pick clock to give themself advantage for first 30 seconds.

idk if you look at what killers are 4.4 m/s (including Vecna 2) or lower (Nurse) you can see that the primary way of downing survivors is directly tied with using their abiltity to
injuredown and/or they have a power that almost completely ignores traditional survivor defenses/movement capabilities in a very obvious & intuitive way. If you make Ghoul 4.4 m/s then you naturally have to actually buff his power significantly to make it more consistent at securing downing people without having to engage with the standard looping gameplay. Because 4.4 m/s looping just isn't viable, even if the killer has great map mobility and the ability to quickly injure (but not down) with their power. See old Legion…there's a reason we all used the 3 hit down add-on or moonwalked people to death instead of trying to frenzy then chase normally. That means buffing his power vaults, removing the cooldown on pallet break thing, making leap targeting more consistent (because it "lingers" on objects/people seemingly depending on ping or something) so you can make bodyblock plays all the time, giving him his range back, etc. Or make it so leap attacks down outright. And I don't think anyone really wants that? Because that's how you get old Chucky 2.0 on steroids.
Increasing cooldowns just sounds boring for everyone. I guess it technically would raise the skill floor, which is part of the reason why you see more Ghouls than Billy/Blight (or at least I do), but kinda lame. People like pressing buttons in the videogame. Making it so people can press buttons less is a lazy way of doing game design. See Marvel Rivals.
The only way I could see making 4.4 m/s work is if you made him 4.4 m/s when not enraged, and 4.6 m/s while enraged. That would introduce an interesting dynamic where you're highly encouraged to use leap attacks as often as possible (and hit the QTE) to stay enraged and able to chase properly. If you end up in a chase for too long to the point where you run out of enrage, then you might have to leave it. If everyone stays injured, you might want to still use your leap attack anyway so you can get your movement speed back. In this scenario (and IMO they should do it anyway) they'd probably need to address the whole "you landed the leap but didn't get the attack off but you still get enrage thing" but that's neither here nor there.
People mis many thing and this is one of them that killers that arent 115 speed are reliable on their powers and thats the key reason why nurse has probably strongest power because she is 2% slover than running survvior so she cant be played without using her power.
For ghoul nerf to 4.4 m/s would mean some buffs to his power like vault being faster and removing token loss after breaking reduction these ones would deffinitely be there with some more.

In terms of powers is not the only thing you should be measuring it's should also be skill Larry Dracula and billy have to have knowledge and experience in order to reliably hit there power however Ghoul is just auto aim near general direction of survivor and profit nothing skillful and low effort in terms of power that's what makes him S-tier. Larry has to setup pods, infect , teleport and get an m1, much more effort and skill required.
Term of power level is what makes that killer s-tier,a-tier-, d-tier etc. and difficulty well thats another thing.
Dracula has to hit his dash or hellfire true but in terms of power he isnt far from ghoul he has crazy catch up that is more reliable and map friendly compare to ghoul who gets little grounded on indoor maps like blight (still he is more less map mobility dependent than blight) than ghoul has first hit into deep wound but thats like it he just beats dracula in mobility power (if its not indoor map) and first hit but dracula has basicaly power for any situation in the game like antiloop projectile on lower loops (hellfire) thats just pheads attack just weaker but without camera turn limit being decreased and wolf form third person view with speed bboost every 6 seconds that has build in tracking and two 6 meter dashes that are in terms of reliability way more better at majority of loops than like weskers dashes because they are same lenght and their charge time doesnt take whole decade so compare to dracula ghoul is just easier in terms of use but their power is just the around the same like ghoul has antiloop in form of vault when enraged but that is only good on loops where there is some long wall so survivor doesnt make it to pallet or window when ghoul fast vaults behind him and than he is just down ning you with m1 but drac can go for hellfire hit and switch to wolf and if he misses this than switch to bat and catch up and go again so his antiloop is way stronger if he has good aim.
Billy has better mobility on open maps and instadown but his power is way harder to use thats just it and he deals way worse with windows but good billy is way stronger than good ghoul with best addons.
Larry has map control that can give him bigger map mobility with tps across the map and his chase is way more harder than ghouls ones because all ghoul has in chase after first hit is just catch up with leaps which only helps in cutting off or breaking holding W+shift and than vault that isnt hard to deal with on some loops and is way esier to read him.
Twins have victor who is best chase tool in the entire game so they just outmatch ghoul in terms of map wide preasure with slugging which is on what they are build on.
Ghouls autoaim helps you to get hit nut than its just doesnt helping you when you want to cut that survivor off with your leaps because it connects to him and slows you down.
blight is more mechanicaly harder than larry does this makes larry s-tier? No because his power has more limitations and ghoul got many nerfs that just held him bellow s-tier so your logic in terms of skill requirement isnt much there because some killers are harder but that doesnt make them weaker that those which are easier ghoul is just esiest killer in terms of skill from high tier killers but he isnt better than good twins or billy and good dracula or larry arent far from good ghoul they are at worst just steping on his heels but they arent much weaker than him only harder to play as in general thats it.
Look at it this way nurse is consideret by many to be god like killer in DBD and she is easier than blight mechanicaly but if we look at lowest mmr blight is easier becaue he can play as m1 and dont need to use his dashes 24/7 but nurse is just all about her power and if we look at top blights and nurse those that are breaking records in kill streaks and comp DBD than blight is considered stronger there even with fact his dashes are harder to use than nurses blinks after 10 games.
-
Personaly Idc because if we were in opposite teams against each other (survivor vs killer) than they did their part of the objective and so did I.
The difference is when that same player was like survivor with me before and he sandbaged me hard or was pretty rude in chatt to me thats different thing (the the spaming slurs in chatt I put this to killer too but I havent met killer that just starts to insult someone in the chatt first or write some rasist stuff like 4+ years now so this doesnt happened to me but that I played with someone who just hid in locker when we were on 2 gens left 3 alive and waited for us to die yeah thats nothing unusual).

Dracula is A tier and so is Singularity also takes a lot more skill then ghoul
They are in terms of power on the same level as ghoul so what makes ghoul s-tier i ask, you just say he is s-tier but larry and drac plus billy they all are in terms of power the same and the fact they are harder because you must hit your dashes or projectiles thats just another thing but nothing that makes them worse so again what makes ghoul s-tier?

Where is the proof that Ghoul is in the top 5?
The survivor rule book wills it.

Yeah.
The guy I helped during the Anniversary, a friend from work, just recently had a match against a cheater.
And he got banned because of it.
He said he was trying to help the Killer catch the guy who was noclipping and flying all over the place. Someone reported him for working with the Killer or intentional griefing and he got banned.
Safe to say that didn't make a good impression.
Do they ban for this like maybe if you sandbag (with bodyblocks etc. to help the killer) some other survivor whole game and he recorded that than I think maybe but Idk if small helping to get cheater can get you ban like hard to tell if even some devs arent cheaters at this point because they seem to be most immune people in the game (the cheaters) like to problems with anticheat to bans etc.
From my point of view helping killer to get cheater is a huge risk because you risk as survivor that the cheater will make you stuck in endgame in locker or some action so you are held hostage there with the killer (happened to me as bubba where one meg that didnt do anything to cheater just watched was tped to locker and stuck there while i saw her character model in t pose on the map and we were held hostage because endgame collapse couldnt kill her ( I think they should make that after endgame colapse ends the server will shut down and not to reduce server shutdown from 2 hours to just 1 but that would be wanting too much because this change would fix the cheater holding some survivors and killer hostage I believe), at this point its big problem that is still being ignored and i fear it will casue more harm than hardcore tunneling or 4 man slugging epidemy because of many people who liked to play as gods will find DBD and play with cheats yeah it will be something.
My oppinion is that cheater has no rights and so any action in game (except some rasist slurs and death threats, meaning actions in the match not the chatt ones) are legal like sandbaging them to help the killer to get them but maybe some devs have other oppinions on this which I dont see as good thing especialy in this case with cheaters.

How do you tag a totem you have seen while being chased by the killer? You can do it in SWF. How do you tag traps? You can do it in SWF. How can you track spawned and dropped pallets around the map? You can do it in SWF. How do you tag the killer, telling your team his exact location and what he is currently doing? You can do it in SWF. How can you tell your team your suspicions about the killer's perks? You can do it in SWF. How can you tell your team "fall near this locker, I have head on"? You can do it in SWF. How can you tell your chased teammate the killer is double-backing or moon-walking behind the wall? You can do it in SWF.
As you can see, adding voice commands gives only a mere fraction of SWF power, a negligible one at that.
And some still dont see that having ability to share information between your teammates in team game is just very strong.

Yeah your clearly a troll someone this dense about ghoul is just absurd
If ghoul is s-tier than dracula and singularity are too, he is only easiest killer whose effectiveness is easily achieved compare to other top tier killers like s-tier (blight, nurse) or high a-tier (dracula, billy, larry, twins). Ghoul was nerfed more than blight and he still was weaker than good blight on his release version which was his strongest state in which he ever was so Idk how he can be now s-tier.

I really feel for Killers affect by blatant hackers.
At least with blatant Killer hackers I've experience in recent times is the double swing and jumping over pallets, downing someone hooking them tping to next survivor and the one where everyone gets killed as you are loading in. you die quickly
Killers are legit getting held hostageI've seen people make the survivor they are picking up get stuck mid way and both the survivor (non hacker) and killer are both just stuck leaving two people to do gens
Another common one I've seen is the killer gets stuck in a pallet stun / locker stun, when I see this they either dc or take tons of stuns and slowly get out by wiggling backwards
I've been in a match once where only me and hacker left and they where legit blocking both the exit gates without being there so me and killer could not open them to end the game, I tried to let killer hook me so we could try to end that way and he could not hook me
one clip I saw not personally but online was absurd was a hacker just opening and closing the exit gate and trapping the killer in there like why are the gates even able to be closed again after they are open. Its pain for both the survivor escaprs this nightmare fast but he still gets notify for giving up or dc which can give them time penalty and for killer its way worse because there are so many ways they can hold you hostage and force you to dc too which can lead to ban too but now there idnt much you can do against cheaters that cant be hooked and can instantly heal and teleport only hope that they wont be discusting and hold you hostage.

That's not really a good excuse? If it's hitscan and it shows it hits you through a wall because of massive desync then devs should be fixing it.
It's like when a killer swings at you when your vaulting a window and even though your clearly on the other side already YOU STILL GET HIT people just don't like that and Ghoul is like that x3 it needs to be fixed and fine tuned.
You will get hit behind window when you vaulted it and you are still close to it, that theres some desync and high ping which makes everything bad but this is question for devs.

This! People tend to forget or not care about the fact that the hit through the wall might have actually happened while the survivor was not behind the wall.
I've had this happen multiple times. I see the hit clearly happen way before the survivor is behind a wall or rock or any obstacle, but when i pull closer the survivor is behind something making the hit look janky.
For some reason i've noticed this happen more with console folks. Its the same thing after i down someone and they teleport 2 meters forward, happens a lot with console players.
People in general forget how hitboxes in DBD work especialy those who play survivor mostly or only because some killers like slinger, huntress have very great understanding of games hitboxes and even good survivors do like crouch tech (abilities where killer cant look down so if he is higher than survivor he will miss) or some abilities hitbox priorities like crouching near pallets corner against blight dash will make him to break the pallet instead of getting hit and there are other killers that are effected by this or when survivor is vaulting but still in killers hitbox like blights dash or billys saw the pallet will prioritized.
Nemos drag, like people that have no experience have no idea how DBD hitboxes work in general.

it always saddened me that killers like xeno, ceno and vecna are quite hated by some. these killers come installed with pre baked counterplay, enough to turn killer players off them entirely. but to me they are the level bhvr should be going for
I surprise the real question is what killers arent hated, like bubba is hated by some because he can hit multiple instsdowns and getting hooked in endgame is gg, huntress, demo and many others are hated by some for bdimg the zoners even the top tier killers can zone way faster, skullmerchant is total dog ……. but still some complain even the fact that she is worst killer in the game and its easy 3 man out if you dont play badly or have total trash teammates so which killer isnt hated, like before many years in games early stages facing billy, bubba, demo was considered peak but now everyone is hated (these killers are very liked by survivors that are experienced).

Ghoul is not fine he clearly needs a rework due to his design making him an easy S-tier Killer but I know devs won't do that for ages so nerfs are needed to make him tolerable to play against.
Changes:
Grab attacks tuned to no longer hit through walls
Ghoul 4.4ms. Ghoul no longer keeps survivors locked in place during the grab animation.
Ghoul Scamper Removed.
Ghoul kagune leap no longer cancelable mid air.
Kagune leap cancel has increased slowdown and attack cooldown when canceling leap.
If you mean all these nerfs and not only pick some as option that its SM treatment just overnerfing wont fix that only one thing that ghoul enjoyers jump on blight who is tw times or 3 times stronger and has way less counterplay.

Ghoul players with autoaim hitscan-through-walls power calling something else braindead.
His hitbox hit you through the wall because he hit you when you werent behind the wall its just the difference in players screen like sith ghostface reveal where when you get sound cue that survivor is looking at you he already started like second ago and you will get revealed no matter what if he is still looking at you and foesnt look away, the ghoul has like 2,5 meters hitbox so if there is just some part of your character that hatchet would hit than ghoul hits you too and those hits where you are almost behind the wall are just hit validation where you ran off behind the wall but he hit you with leap a second ago and your charscter just moved so I dont zhink this will be fixed because dome things like crouch tech cant be fixed without making normal gameplay way worse (in terms of crouch tech).

I think the worst crossover between killer powers is still Dracula X Demogorgon.
I mean, Chucky feels outclassed by Michael in a few aspects, but his combination of small size and third person is still pretty strong and unique. But Demo and Dracula? Everything Demo's power can do, Dracula can do better. The only thing that allows demo to do some stuff of its own are its add-ons, but most of Dracula's add-ons still outclass Demo's, lol.Even if you compare demo to springtrap you can clearly see how outdated demo realy is they both have some antiloop chase power (spring fire axe and demo his shread) I would argue that axe is stronger but harder to use than shread, they both have teleport ability only difference is demo has to set his tps compare to springtrap who has his doors already set which makes his early game much better compare to demo whose tps should be way stronger due to being limited by count and that he must waste time to set them up and the oblivious effect? Demo has 5 seconds and every survivors knows with global sound cue when he is using his portals and springtrap? Springtrap has stealthy tp through doors and 15 seconds of oblivious effect which is three times more so even if you look at these two you can clearly see how much big of difference is there between them not to mention compare c-tier demo against high a-tier (probably one in top 5 strongest killers which majority of DBD community would agree on I believe) there is huge difference but one thing I have to say about drac, comparing him to killer like ghoul he has to way more earn his hits with hellfire or wolfs dash because they are easier to doge especialy in open and his zoning potencial with them now is no longer so good as it used to be.
