If anything Chaos Shuffle more exposes how much a number of killers suffer due to reliance on specific addons and perks. Like how absolutely miserable Trapper is in Chaos Shuffle without access to at least one of his red addons if not just Bloody Coils specifically.
Trapper is like loose 3 gens in short time after you finish your set up with 2-3 traps and get into first chase if survivors go on gens at the start.

Players (men and women) generally prefer playing as/looking at attractive characters. This is basic biology not some perversion.
Especialy in DBD where most popular survivor was feng before sable was added and before feng it was nea and before her caldette so female survivors are generaly most played except like ace and adam due to their sounds that are quiter and it has some logical reason like they are shorter so its easier to hide with them they arent as tall as male survivors so it has some game advantage palying female character in DBD and as you said players mostly want to play as nice looking characters which this one has nice face and her body wont be ugly I bet so its clear winner (my guess).

Its not as if Chucky has nothing, and being third person with a small size is a massive advantage because no other killer has that advantage.
Third person is huge advantage especialy if you can moon walk like with base speed and he can do it to some degree with slice and dice charge which is something like draculas wolf cant do and its super easy to see the difference.
I think chucky even when he is 110 speed has like same character model thickness as survivor so he doesnt loose so much dostance as other 110 killers which is huge thing too if this is true (loosing distance on loops when he hugs them).
-
On the other hand it shows how realy fast all gens can be against killers that dont run gen deffence in form of regression and gen blocking perks or other builds that buy you time and how this effects massively weaker and mid tier killers that get cooked super fast if survivors stick to gens.

If your a ghoul and your response for Survivors is skill issue the whole room should laugh you outta there cause Ghoul requires no skill to play.
Least legion has to aim his strikes while ghoul just has to look a general direction to auto aim the survivor injured.
Ghoul has one of hardest techs in the game and that makes his dkill ceiling very high like using his leaps to cut off survivor on loops without hitting that survivor because of big fat autoaim just look at YT it requires speed (very fast reaction combined with accuracy) way higher than blight does and ghouls autoaim makes it super hard plus loop size matters too like its easy on shsck but way harder on some two rocks with one pallet loops in comparision.
Thing is ghoul basics to be rffective with his power are low and he is strong but that doesnt mean he is augoqin because (many people will tell you this) majority of ghoul players arent good in chase and he needs to down you with m1 which makes him way more loopsble than blight who isnt bad or nurse.
-
Isnt it because some maps have higher % chance than others each week, like all have lets say 3,xx % chance to be choosen and like 4-6 maps have each week 6% chance and they are choosen way more.
I think they didnt change this since they put it in live and people are complaining about it, Idk why they did that like I get giving more % chance to new maps from new chapters or in winter to winter maps like ormond but why this is thing Idk.
-
He basicaly is slover by 5% and as compensation has full lunge in stalker mode (tier one) there is addon that makes him 110 speed I think.

Or maybe having a fully controllable instadown gigalunge for 60 seconds with a 3 second recharge isn't fair after killers cried to get every pallet turned back into a death trap
Every pallet isnt death trap just the ones that make you zoned like the edge ones, also as survivor xou can use some pallets that are zoning you like the edge ones if you throw it when killer is at the closer end of the map and you are on the side that leads to centre of the map. Smart killers wont let you but that doesnt mean you cant make the wait more by waiting at the pallet or greeding (you must guess right which aproach will the killer use if he goes head on into those pallets or he respects them) them.
Mayers strike still isnt that good when you have some distance between you and mikey and you hug loop well (his larger character model looses more distance when going around loop even if he hugs it which is harder when he is in his fast strike speed), distance is key against him plus awareness. He is strong in chase but weak at pushing more places at once or in short time because of him having no mobility which is why billy or oni beat him in.

Oh no, not 2 whole minutes? Flip the switch and go grab a drink lmao. Then log out of the game for the day because your mental is obviously completely cooked.
Your sarcastic attitude or your guide from your personal experience doesnt offer solution to those two whole minutes so quite waste of your time tbh lmao.

Once the gates are powered you can just open them as the killer and start the end game collapse btw if you don't want to play it out.
Thats sitting there for 2 whole minutes, you can force them out but if they are spread and want to hide around the map than there isnt much you can do unless you play someone who can reveal their location like doctor, someone can plot twist in corner and 99 to make the collapse go for 4 minutes its rare but happens if swf are angry with out and want you to punish you for giving up when they escape which happens so I think some abandom when gates are open should be implemented like after 30 seconds of gates being open killer can abandon.

No, i meant:
Myers right now with Tuft of Hair as basekit. This version would be not good enough for most people.
If his lunge was increased like +50% or more like 70% and he would break pallets with hitting them in evil incarnate mode with his m1 lunge like he does now with strike and all his buffs he has now would stay I wouldnt be mad (old mayers had 20 or 25% longer lunge in tier 3 which wasnt much because everyone predroped and this cooked him way more than bubba).

@BongoBoys said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/463037/chucky-is-power-crept-by-michael
First thing we can do to make Chucky more unique his regular slice and dice and when he dashes over a vault or pallet while in slice and dice should have no turn rate restrictions. That way he can have more opportunities to get the survivor
I think he had this till his second nerf where they gutted his turn rate after scampering (I think they gutted 180 flick too with this update) and now if survvior runs in straight line infront of pallet/window you scampered you can hit them but countering scamper is easy and not many loops have narrow spaces where it is hard to doge but still even in those small places where is super hard to doge like gideon basement god pallet you can still vault pallet into dashing chucky and he will still vault with scamper or you can stay on the endge of the droped pallet crouched and he will fly further and wont hit you due to turn limit and no time for turning which is what good survivors know and thats why scamper works rarely on them.
-
@SoGo said:
Chucky's main thing was Scamper.
It's not nice, nor satisfying, but it was. So logically taking it out was going to tank him.
As for Myers, well, I feel like the problem would be lesser if he actually had to commit more than 5 seconds to get to his Tier 3.
As you say chuckys speciality was scamper and he had better speed while dashing which both of these things get reduced to what we have now.
For stalking i think its 5 seconds only if he is standing still while stalking you and 6,6666 seconds if he is moving plus some seconds more if survivor blocks los which is common thing used before his rework.
-
@TicTac said:
"was it that hard to just gigabuff him to atleast mid to high c tier in his old state"
That would be new Myers with Tuft of hairs. No dash, but better usage of his modes, small number buffs for T3 and T3, etc.
People would complain that the rework wasnt good enough and he needs more.
The problem was the first version from the rework had very little added things and many things like faster vaulting were just things he already had before rework and only increased lunge and stun recovery in persuer mode were new plus for stalker mode the lunge that was full and evil incarnate mode had only new mori survivors dead on hook and strike plus new was 40 meters of terror radius and for persuer 24 meters tr instead of 16, slaughtering strike had very low and restricted turn rate which was worse than any other killer like even billy was easier to get hits with than with mayers strike (all survvior had to do was just running around some round object and you were cooked because you couldnt turn it around for hit which wasnt fun and super bad).
That was mayers after rework just worse tier 3 and some buffs and yeah stalker mode had full lunge but he was 105 speed not 110 so its worse for getting grabs and stalking range got reduced from 40 meters to 32.
He needed some help because that rework did somethign better but some things way worse like stealth gameplay of mayers and his tier 3.

This is the type of perk which is absolutely game changing when used correctly.
Thing is, pretty much every perk has a specific scenario in which they're 'game-changing', so this is not even a unique upside to Shoulder the Burden.
Yeah but shoulder the burdon is way more game changing if is used corretly like you reduce someones hook stage so you pull him from death which maybe doesnt look so good but it is very good and teammates that didnt got chased can use this to make their teammates stay longer in the match which is huge survivor gain to time that killer looses because he is one hook far from death hook which would help him a lot with preasure, the more hooks killer must get to kill someone the bigger time survivors get (if it wasnt the case than tunneling would be just used way less than it is now but getting kill is beggest slowdown you can get as killer and no perk can compare to that effect).

Damn if only you could give the same advantages swfs have when playing....
Its not like you cant give soloq bond or kindred since swf alr know that infomation via callouts.
Its also somehow impossible to nerf s-tiers and buff low tiers instead of just overall buffing and nerfing one side.
But yeah, you are right, impossible to do, im sure nerfing soloq 7 more times will eo the job.
Damn if only you could give the same advantages swfs have when playing....You can give them some game option to communicate like push to talk or something like the walkie-talkie like in the friday 13 game where survivors could find them and talk with other survviors that have them, last option is like some wheel with some lines or chatt in game but the reason swf is that good is because they can simple talk to each other and cooperate which soloq cant.
Its not like you cant give soloq bond or kindred since swf alr know that infomation via callouts. You can give them these perks which isnt that huge of a buff for swf since they just dont need to call out their positions that much but I dont think devs want to give buffs in this way because if they would they would have done it already.
Its also somehow impossible to nerf s-tiers and buff low tiers instead of just overall buffing and nerfing one side. You can nerf blight, nurse is harder because there isnt much you can nerf and she needs more of a rework than just nerf because she is just 99,99999% dependent on her power because she is slower than survviors so she cant chase without her power.
But yeah, you are right, impossible to do, im sure nerfing soloq 7 more times will eo the job.Idk whats nerfing soloq to you like in the year 2025 weaker killers were nerf a lot too with things like pallet density update or longer bt and haste for survivors that get unhooked or free ds now, but things like this happen if you have huge gab between the roles like s-tier killers and c/d-tier killers or sloq to swf the global changes become very hard to balance because they can help one fraction of that role like weaker killers but they make the other part overbuffed like s-tier killers or some high a-tier killers but there were people that were pointing at this long time ago and all they got were rocks and insults so they went to side and as you said "here we are".

Just inspired from something like this and you will do fine, as all you will make mistakes but even the fact he probably isnt now in the game (he isnt obtainable now due to licence lost) he is still pretty popular so the more you face him the more you will learn to do good agaisnt him and counter him.
Personaly i think getting distance against him and looping him at strong loops, structures is more safer aproach how to beat him but soloq can be hard sometimes.

How the hell the whole team went down against mikey I would understand p100 billy main with x thousand of hours but mikey with no mibility Idk happens i guess.
Not everyone is like you regarding the game, knowledge, execution, hours, favorite food, color, cartoon, etc. People are different.
How do you deal with Mikey? Help the ones who need it understand with your clear understanding.
Your first paragraph was great help to the thread! But. for some reason, you felt the need to $@#% on OP to prop yourself up. I'd simply ask why? And 'splaining the game isn't what I'm asking. I'm asking for you to explain why you thought adding the above quoted line was needed. Not trying to offend, just trying to understand the mind set. Ty!
How the hell the whole team went down against mikey I would understand p100 billy main with x thousand of hours but mikey with no mibility Idk happens i guess. Not everyone is like you regarding the game, knowledge, execution, hours, favorite food, color, cartoon, etc. People are different.Look you dont need to tell me I can imagine how it went and that they were in one place and let him snowball but in reality his snowball is way worse than bubba with iri flesh (+ beast marks for more distance but still bubba with iri flesh can down more people in shorter time than mayers can in tier 3).
How do deal with him, I explained that when he is stalking you you will get notified and that he cant be super far like before and now he is closer and for not going down as team best is probably to split because compare to oni or billy he has no mobility so even if he downs someone he will get pinished minimaly same as survviors because he than must go his way through map or even across it with m1 killers speed so he will be slow and if survviors will be falling like flyes and it will be just unhooking simulator than well there isnt much you can do except like last long in chase so others can reset but at this point if they are getting downed super fast its pretty gg mostly because at this point all can help you is long chase while others reset but the cause of this (survviors droping like flyes) is mostly some skill gab like not being used to go against this killer or the killer having way more experience (there is big difference when guy who has 6k hours plays nurse like few times per year and guy who has 2k hours and just 1k hours on nurse alone as his main so it can happen that someone with less hours can be super hard to deal with) or you get caught offguard but the other survivors too thats just strange luck (I would say less than hitting orbitals in chance).
I have had like 20+ games where p100 billy sluged whole team under 1-2 minutes but newer against mayers, I get he is harder to loop now especialy in tier 3 (evil incarnate mode) but he has 60 seconds basekit (I think it cant be made longer with addons now as it was before his rework only one iri makes it 40 seconds and just resets his tier 3 after getting hook) so if you are spead and prerun he will lost like half of his power mainimaly and even if he can get it in 10 seconds or 8 you will still buy lot of time for your team because he has lethality but no mobility and thats why he (even if he is easier and more better at getting his power) still doesnt beat oni who gets less powers and has to earn them but can just do more in that limited time or billy, mobility to catch up is one of strongest abilities killer can have in this game just look at wraith only reason why he doesnt compleatly suck as m1 is just the fact he has 150% speed when cloaked because his lunge was nerfed and without one addon if you ran and he uncloaks righ behind you he wont hit you because he will loose distance (wraith is generaly killer who needs to be played perfectly without good addons against survivors that arent new or clueless).
For more tips on how to go against mayers here some vid. i just dont want to write whole article that gets deleted by moderator and loose another 15 minutes of my time (I know most of it for his counterplay thats in this vid. but i don't claim to be best in executing them because i make mistakes too, I wasnt programed to not make them).

But kaneki, nurse and blight is fine?.
If s-tiers werent so easy and barely ever nerfed due to people like YOU defending him, more people would be more inclined to nerf survivor and buff soloq.
But here we are.
Nurse and blight are s-tier, kaneki is no longer s-tier only his OG version was and maybe the one after first nerf but his addons arent as oppressive as they were and he has more limitations now after two big nerf phases so thats for s-tier.
S-tiers are easy? I dont know but blight isnt easy in terms of mechanical use of his power and some goes for nurse she is totaly different gameplay wise than other killers, only thing that makes them easy is when you understand their power after some time and learn how to use it than they are easy for winning because their powers can do a lot compare to all other killers and whats with that "but You", me? what did I did wrong let mass homicide maniac escape from jail? I think you are little hypersensitive here.
The biggest dilema here if you buff soloq like giving them strong antitunnel you will buff swf too so you will have to compansate the killers because the gab is huge between your s-tier blight and d-tier ghostface but thats something people like tru said since 2020 that if you want to make global buffs and changes and dont be scared or bind to the fact that you cant because one character isnt almost effected by it and others are totaly screwed by it like lower tier killers at the bottom than you must make the gab the smallest as you can but thats too much work now and one of reasons why things like antitunnel changes failed in first place.
But here we are, arent we?

Nerf that was reverted so it wasnt actual nerf just devs messing up and the map with most god pallets still exist so unless you play someone who can ignore them like nurse, ghoul or someone who can shread through pallets fast like blight, nemi, mayers, larry , you are done here as m1 killer or killer that has to respect them and cant do anything about them or has any power that can give you atlest some chance in landing some shot like xeno, pyramidhead, springtrap (huntress is very dependent on type of loop where the pallet is due to her big hatchet hitbox and slinger is only able to pull injure but he than has to reload and break the pallet which on 110 killer is super bad in terms of distance loss).

Not only from the Devs. Sadly there are many more important issues in DBD right now. In a perfect world the game would be decent and a map with boring gameplay would be one of the worst issues.
Like cheaters getting more confortable going full without trying to hide it and there is still nothing about it and its more ignored than less problematic issues.
I feel like the devs are coming back to their original ways of balance like in 2018 changes in manner like nerf pig and other things will solve by itself.

Gideon used to be a horrible map for Survivors: both floors were like the ground floor so finding gens was impossible and Killers had a very high kill rate. Then they reworked the upper floor to be more open and later added a load of pallets to try and address it, and kill rates plummeted. Now it has a lot of very strong loops, including a number of god pallets, semi-reliable generator locations that are easier to find, reliable exit gate locations that don't have line of sight for the Killer and a lot of bad hook locations. They then forgot to (or don't care enough to) try and fine tune things a bit so it's less miserable for Killers or Survivors who don't run WoO.
That map is nightmare to deal with if survivors know how to loop because there is minimaly like 5-6 god pallets and on max like 8-9 which is a lot (Idk why around basement are there still spawning two of these pallets like in 2026) and gates well if you close hatch as killer and down have good tracking power or mobility on command or some traps like larrys biopods its easy gate escape because they cant be patroled here.

I really hope other comment are right that its leftover from basekit anti slug testing but conviction is allowed and that would not explain nurses calling being out.Nurses is banned?
Who the hell decided this, that perks is very mediocre for info and only works on few killers not to mention its true strenght are way gone since selfcaring nerfs where survviors were healing in corners of the map so this perk had some use but nowdays this perk isnt that good because vast majority of healing is done under hooks after unhook.
In this mode all perks should be enabled because is random mode and even if that perk is good you can still get other perks that are super bad or doesnt work with it.

actually this kind of begs the question what is the point of the mushrooms when the infection gets removed upon hooking? It’s like with singularity why bother ever hooking them when slugging is just overall better them since it doesn’t remove the infection.
I think they should get transported on the unhooker to make the killers power effect not compleatly useless and actualy to give killer some more reason to not tunnel but that woiuld be expecting to much good little things from devs.
Larry has better infection spread and he has better chase (I would say he has less slowdowns compare to krasue) so I dont get it they nerfed mushroom lasting effect and before that they nerfed krasues head form chase potencial (nerfing pallet vault so its just very situational I would say more than weskers) and the infection tier two where survivor is broken is just imopossible to reach if survvior picks shrooms so Idk why they changet so much and didnt thought about how it will work in live but it seems the nerfs very made very fast as decision without further testing.
At this point some killers just are better with slugging because they get way more preasure and power use from it and just getting single downs and hooking like krasue, twins, oni which is very funny because not so long time ago devs whanted to fight slugging but they kinda still make killers that are way more better to be played as sluggers than just hookers.

Well Gideon has nearly no windows… thats the reason for the pallets.
But since the Devs showed in their live stream, that they don´t know why Gideon has so many slugs… yeah… I don´t think they know what is going on on this map.
I get your argument here that there are few windowns (from which only few are good like 3-4) but that doesnt justify the amount of god pallets which are pallets that doesnt have any counterplay (maybe some can be vaulted by killers like ghoul which counters them if other pallets are close to them) and only option is just to break them.
Im for more pallets if there are less windowns but god pallets? Hell no thats like claiming that survivors with 4 man running ds (4 survivors doesnt need to be swf, term explanation for 4 man in this sentence) has to be matched against top tier killers.

Forgot to say one more thing. Sometimes it’s better to slug than hook. If you slug you guarantee that they will remain infected. If you need to keep the pressure up and threaten a 4 man slug, it may be smart to do so. Hooking not only slows you down but also removes the infection. You will have to measure if it’s better to slug or not on the spot within the match
True I found same with oni, when you are in his power its sometimes better to focus on 2 max 3 survviors and rest just slug to gain preasure and some blood gain for your next furry while hooking some to gain faster kill and extend that preasure so you have more powers.
-
Must be bug or some change from some testing that devs forget to revert because Idk why these perks should be dissabled.

The biggest problem to me in that this perks works best against a killer who is spreading hooks. If you hook Meg, then Dwight, then Jake, then Meg, the Claudette (with no hooks) can come and shoulder the burden for Meg, leaving the killer in a dire situation since now everyone is with one hook and it will need chase the same person twice to get a kill.
Another problem with this perk is that it empowers strong SWF more than SoloQ. People doing Surv Winstreaks use this perks in two different survivors in case of tunneling. In SoloQ this is much harder to pull off.
My take: Shoulder the Burden should only activate if the same person is hooked twice, with far less downsides to compensate it limited usages.
Same with dead hard it punishs the killer that doesnt tunnel way more than the killer that does and same goes for deliverence and ds because ds hurts way more the killer who isnt tunneling and just gets that survivor again and gets stunned or when it its weponized because tunneling killer counts with it, the one that doesnt and spread hooks doesnt count with it and normaly his objective in killing survivors takes way more time in comparison to tunneling killer while he still gives survivors more progress because tunneling kill leads to 25% slowdown and one less player that can do some saving etc. or have some agency in the match.

It's how stalk became an afterthought. How he has so many audio queues ruining the jumpscare potential.
Still doesnt change the fact he needed the change because only thing that kept him above d-tier was purple tombstone addon.
There is plenty of killers that arent what they used to be like doctor but at this point you have to choose between og state or lore accuracy or the better gameplay which is in most cases easy choice.

She is super map dependent and if survivor arent super out of the match with their mind than getting some condem value is very hard plus she requires probably the bigger macro management than any other killer you need to know where who is and where which tv was turned off and by who and than when to tp and spread condem which isnt easy and very map dependent like on indoor maps like midwitch its not that bad as it is on coldwind plus her stealth is only good on indoor maps and her chases arent good either unless its medium safe pallet and you play the dissapearing mind game well but still survivors have way more option s than you think unless its corner of the map thats why I find her one of weakest killers.

I frequently say, "Thank you." by crouching rapidly. They could have been grateful for your leniency. (I know people often drop their items as "Thank you" but they might not have had one… or one that they wanted to give up.)
Same thing if someone says "EZ" after you gave them hatch. They could just be joking. I say EZ jokingly to my friends all the time after I struggle with something.
I'm not saying that there are no toxic jerks in this game, but I AM saying that there is a non-zero chance that some of these aren't what you think they are. Why assume the worst 100% of the time (and get correspondingly angry) when the reality is basically guaranteed to be less than that?
Ah the EZ as joke the biggest plot twist in the endgame chatt, casualy left there without explanation so it looks like you are salty pile of loss. What a mystery to get this message.

after they tweaked pallets for the 3rd time in a row, my guess is their spaghetti code messed up and somehow changed the pallet spawns on midwich. but as ArcT said, it’s not a priority to them apparently so it looks like midwich will be giga killer sided until the devs find out they screwed up pallet generation on that map as well as Hawkins. some pallets just don’t spawn on Hawkins when they should be spawning 100% of the time.
I dont remember pallets missing after they released 3rd pallet density update but now i have noticed some places where are missing pallets (I played chaos shuffle so Idk if its in 1v4 normal mode) but midwitch is probably map where I seen many pallets missing from all maps but this happened some time after third version of pallet update because after its release I dont remeber pallets missing especialy on midwitch (and for the fun part maps like game have same pallet number but midwitch is the one who had to take it lol).

People are way too sensitive. Toxic is calling someone a very bad word in end game. Tea bagging isn't that serious.
Toxic are insults in chatt but the tbags or “humping” isnt that toxic its just tauting which many other games have dances or more tilting animations, dances for.
Only think I dislike about tbaging or humping is when it comes for no reason like ok you are behaving like kid so it will be way more impactfull to win for me because kids rage and overfeel little things which adult mature people dont.

I agree. I often said that True got some good points with the win con should be hooks not kills.
But back to the topic.
The case of trying to put the blame away onto the team is deep rooted here. Just look at games like League of Legends. Before someone tries to take the blame for a horrible play they try to blame anyone and anything else but in the same sentence they try to justify that they should be Challenger.
Yeah it can be frustrating to get tunneld out and I try from time to time to explain why the Killer does this and try to improve my looping skills. And if you think about this. If the Killer to manages to 3 hook the same Survivor before one single gen is done. The game would have been lost in any case because that means that no one touched a gen or that the tunneld survivor didn´t stand a chance even with all pallets up.
Here is the List what a Killer has to do before the "omnipresent" tunneld out at 5 gens can happen:
- find a survivor
- hit him twice, while the Survivor got a Sprint for getting hit
- picks them up
- carrys them to the hook and hooking them
- waits till the survivor gets unhooked (this can take up to 70 seconds)
- hits the borrowed time which gives a sprint burst again
- downs the survivor again
- picks them up again
- carrys them to the hook and hooking them again
- and repeats all that for a third time
Pretty much I agree tunneling one survivor out can take few minutes at worst for the survivors so thats solid time for others to do gens if the survivor who is tunneled doesnt go down after unhook in 20 seconds and the hooking part plus time for hook stage can take like 60-110 seconds which isnt bad time.

Except when Houndmaster gets the hindered…it’s ggs.
That’s awful tho for Twins 😭 she’s had a few of those.
You can fix that hinder but i saw in clip on YT you just send dog to vault window and eopen locker and tada it should be fixed untill you get it agains and peopel complaned the devs dont make side objectives (well they meant for survivors mostly not killers).

nitelight stats aren't accurate. don't take my word for it; bhvr even commented saying they aren't not long ago.
Tbh bhvr stats seems to be out of different reality more than nightlights stats.

I still thik she is good killer but her bodyblocking counter is just too bad like its worse than nemi because you need to hit 3 hits with head form to infect so lowering this to 2 should be fine and her vault well in 95% of pallets situations I just wish i could break them instead of vaulting them because they are good against her and its better to get rid of them than just keep them.

That's cool and I agree it's a loss for the killer, but killer and survivor wincons aren't the same. I wish they were and the one tunneled survivor gets the win too, but they currently don't. They just get a death on their stats and an MMR loss. Though I very much view this game as a team one, many in soloq either don't view it as such or don't know how to properly play as a team, and the game is doing nothing to show them how. We don't even have a decent tutorial.
if mmr works
That is a big "if"
Thats because the foundation on results as win and loss condition was choosen long time before with kills/escapes so even if killer plays very well and has 8 hooks or 6 he will still loose or have worse result than if he would just got two kills and same for survviors instead the game would count the results in match and count them like gen progress done, chase time and healing etc. but instead its just escapes and deaths so survivor that does very little and hides whole game and escapes through hatch or gates after the hatch is closed gets better results than the one guy who was looping the killer the longest time and died.
Some content creators talked about this like trutalent (before he was framed for hating idians and banned from fog whispear) he talked 2021-2022 about making game more around hooks and not kills and giving killers some small reward after hook so they dont tunnel all these ideas he had way before devs started cooking their antitunnel changes but its hard thing and he wasnt much liked at first place, so thats just the thing the win codition is set around and these are the results because nothing just beats tunneling in its effectiveness
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgE939noY20but thats something thats known for long time and for mmr well sometimes it works and sometimes there is just some abnormal anomaly but i get if there arent people with the closest skill in time so game just puts someone other togeather so the queue times arent as in ptb or in 2v8 as killer.

Oh sure, they'll get the gens done, but the survivor wincon is currently a personal escape, so that doesn't do the dead survivor much good. The fact that a low-hour killer can get boosted to higher MMR with experienced players very quickly with little to no gamesense or skill is a problem.
You are palying game where you cant 1v1 trapper and walk out like from other games, if the gens are done and that one survvior isnt near death they can still get him saved and even 1 kill is loss an win for the team you are palying team mode as survvior not "everyone fend for them slefs" mode but this sgouldnt happen if mmr works and only in swf you can get low hours survviors mostly because they paly with other survivors that have way higher mmr.

The killer is too far for the first option so I simply wait the last moment to trade
This can't always be done without coordination. I've see many ranged killers—Deathslingers, iri-hatchet Huntresses, and Houndmasters, in particular--who will stand right outside the range and wait with their weapon ready. You try to trade, get hit/downed, and the hooked person goes second/dies. The coordination needed to unhook them is hard to manage in soloq. The same problem exists with slugging multiple people. Even in a party, whole-team slugs happen. It's particularly hard to counter with certain aura read perks.
How is it the killer that is blamed and not the survivors?
Because the killer is making the choice to do the thing, just like a killer will blame survivors if all of them brought gen perks and Commodious toolboxes and gens got done in three minutes. Difference is, I've never actually seen that happen, yet I see tunneling, camping, and slugging every time I play survivor.
And because a 200 hour killler can tunnel out a 2000 hour survivor. The skill it takes to tunnel is generally low against most players. The skill it takes to counter it can be pretty higher depending on the killer and the person playing them.
Also, this isn't a survivor vs killer issue. Plenty of killer-players are against these tactics.
200 hours killer can hardly get 2000 hours survivor if that survvior is solid to his hours played and didnt spend 1800+ hours hiding in the corner, what you set as comparison exsample is just putting seasoned joe who playes this game for many years (like 3-4) against baby wraith. Not to mention if that killer would get him than all gens would ne almost done or just done by that time and its clear win for survivors.
In your theory maybe 200 hours just purely on blight or nurse can work into win but we are talking here about top tier killers and still I will argue that 2k hour survivor will have enough experience and skill to loop them for long time so others can do multiple gens fast.

Unknown and HM are in the same tier to me. They have potential, but the stars have to align in order to reach it.
Their potencial still is way more reliable than trappers, ghostfaces, skullmerchants or onryos in comparison.
Hag is great against soloq but if the survivors just use one of them to sneak behind the hag and whiper her traps or they have coms than her potencial is super small.
Uknown has great potencial but his small uvx effect time on survivor after first hit is so small that you got like two shots to get that injure from it which means if you can hit 80% of the time two hits in the row with uvx than he is super solid killer but thats not that easy because uvx is slow and easy to evade/doge compare to like huntress hatchet. He still has teleport which makes him better than all other killers you mentioned because his tp is instant and he can use them to shut down loops which is something sadako cant.
Some killers just have very punishing gameplay when you miss with their power but these killers like uknown, artist, slinger have still some power behind their kit compare to weaker killers that are highly punished too like trapper, ghostface and their power is just super weak its like trying to shoot someone with revolver which has loaded 3-4 bullets in cylinder (unknown, aritist) compare to shooting someone with revolver that has just 1 bullet in cylinger loaded (ghostface, trapper, skullmerchant) thats how reliable their powers are because even if you make good play with trapper,SM, ghostface you can still gain very little effect from it to your victory and survivors can just get from it super easily compare to landing good shots with uknow or artist where you gain way more if you play right without making huge mistakes.
