According to many people, none of the Killer roster has a chance against SWF lol

But yes, Nurse could use some accessibility buffs.

Killers that have powers that is eassy to counter and the strongest counter to that power or par of it is teamplay than those killers are super bad against swf like killers that have just traps as power or stealth such as trapper, SM, ghostface, hag these killers are super fragile against swf and well coordinated survivors compare to other killers that "hold their power in their hands" like wesker, huntress, slinger.

Thats just truth, for you info on that nurse thing by the kill rates data she would need some if we would balance killers by kill rates which is no longer (thanks all mighty god) a thing.

Yeah I was also thinking Wraith. Is there anything messing with Trapper? He might be stable as well.

Traps are working strange lately like I had match where when survivors went into locker and i placed trap infront of locker they did the exit animation when getting from locker and the trap they were right on top of it didnt get them so this I saw on other clips or videos like someone doing totem and he went from side and had option to start the animation this placed him into totem and he was right on above trap but he got caught when he exited the animation of doing the totem or destroyed it and I had this same thing in 2v8 when I was repearing gen, when I let go of it I got traped and for me this is bug because before this was happening you got caught into trap when you went on its hitbox while doing animation so trapper is broken more than wraith now by 100%.

I know this is sort of a necro but I was thinking about the upcoming content and the state of controller in DbD again so…

The thing about both of those killers is that you have that distance progression/chargeup mechanic, for lack of a better term. You're generally not dealing with the full 3D plane when trying to land those powers unless you hold them too long and you have to correct for the survivor running back into you, in which case micro correcting can be kind of hard to do on controller. Instead you're mostly just pressing and holding your power button waiting for your landing spot to get to the point you want and releasing said button. And then once you do reach that spot, you're either engaging in standard killer gameplay that again, requires no real vertical aim (lunging with Nurse) or still aiming mostly parallel to the floor with Pinhead's gateway. Though I will say Pinhead's chains are much harder to land than Nurse's lunges…at least he's 4.6 m/s and has the box to make up for that somewhat.

With Vecna, outside of max distance vine attacks, you have to engage with full 3D aiming all the time, especially since he's 4.4 m/s, and you have to be more accurate than Nurse. And to be honest, that just sounds like it's going to be a miserable time for most controller players, what with the subpar implementation of controller that we have in this game. Maybe at lower skill levels where people move more predictably it'll be fine, but as soon as you get people that know how to play the game and path erratically...I'm predicting his kill rate will be abysmally low on consoles. And that's assuming that he isn't adjusted downward from the PTB.

You are probably right I still think pinhead is harder than vecna 2.0 because he is 115 speed but he stops moving when he is casting the chain and if you miss you loose more distance and even if you hit the chains can be broken by random objects or other survivors and on some loops you can just break them by yourself while survivor gets released and makes it to the pallet or window so he is way harder to hit and more punished for their placement, nurse is probably easier than the upcoming vecna.

    lmaooooo

GF aint anywhere near bottom 3 bro

trapper, hag, HM, Sadako, SM and Unknown all worse. Still viable, but worse.

GF is fine and tier lists and rankings are overrated as hell.

    new checklist for u

if you like them, they are good.

So trapper and SM are the worst killers but uknown is bad and verypunishing still he is top of c-tier at worst because he has solid mobility and some range power which can be used to get downs faster actively without set up (set up is in majority bad thing in DBD and killers that need to do it are mostly worst like trapper, sadako, skullmerchant, pig, hag only big exception is larry=singularity but he has teleport which can be used across the whole map and super good chase power build in).

See it or not ghostface is set up killer because you need to build the stalk to 80+ % on each survvior to get fast downs unlike mayers who has need only for his one stalk and not to do 4 stalk meters invidualy like ghostface plus he has build in chase powers like faster breaking speed, vaulting speed +his strike so he has more tools in chase than ghostface who just can be stealtly (wraith, mayers in stalking mode and many other killers can use this or just all with certain perks) and mark survivor that becomes for 60 seconds instadownable (basicaly perk effect like make your choice) and this is reduced by perks like vigil I believe and he doesnt get anything as bonus for marking the survivor (only addons do something like knife sheat leg that gives haste or driving licence) so he has to work hard and build his power and that costs lot of time so it should be logicaly stronger as trade of but it isnt its weak and bad.

trapper, hag, HM, Sadako, SM and Unknown all worse. Still viable, but worse.

Personaly I think you downpower uknown here who is just way better than all killers you mentioned here and maybe hag but that depends if its soloq team or swf on coms because sharing informations against killers that are just pure stealth or set traps as their only power is super strong counter and ghostface is worse than hag and unknow by 100% and maybe worse than sadako if the sadako player has good macro like onepumpwillie who can destroy super good teams with condem.

GF is fine and tier lists and rankings are overrated as hell.

He is weak and undepowered which are terms I dont think are "fine".

    new checklist for u

if you like them, they are good.

If you like some characters even if they are weak its okay but still I dont think its good thing to be oblivious here and lie to yourself they are ok as they are and thankfully majority of skullmerchant, ghostface, trapper, sadako mains are aware of this unlike pig mains.

It doesn't mean we can't have changes, but it does mean we need to take into account that these Killers are already capable of performing well.

Now, maybe it's too difficult to perform well. That doesn't necessarily mean we need to change how strong they are, just how easy that strength is to access.

Regardless, there are buffs and reworks and addon passes I would like to see, but I don't think any Killer really needs a huge amount of help at this point in time. Not in terms of strength. In terms of playability? Of fun? Of ease of access? Sure, absolutely.

But I think pretty much all Killers are at or above the strength level required.

Well ghostface still has almost no chance against top tier swf teams where just having very good skill at looping and the power of call outs from coms just counter his stealth compleatly thats why killers like hag are considered to be super bad because their power can be countered and taken away from them very easily, the 90% of ghostface mains (they have way more hours on this killer than other players such as me like 500 hours and more just on ghostface) will tell you he is bad and needs some solid buffs.

All your conclusions come from are kill rates and yes its 60% kill rate the number the devs aim for because its asymetrical horror game (meaning more will die than survive in this genre of games), but than if you backing up with kill rates nurse needs some buffs than and others none or even nerfs like pinhead, sadako, pig which isnt good point for backing up decisions and devs (hopefully) know this nowdays not like in 2017-18 where they nerfed pig because she was just pig and didnt needed any nerfs.

  • Now there is some new skin for the so called "bdsm" collection so if they will get some money form it maybe there will be some fixes for bugmaster.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Highly disagreed. They shouldnt nerf gen speeds.

    What needs to be done:

give survivors aura reading on each other for the entire trial base kit, unaffected by blindness or other perks.
If any survivor has line of sight on the killer, that killer’s aura is revealed to all survivors.

Then we can consider some killer buffs.

So you think giving survivors basicaly global wallhacks is way to go.

Just because some of them have sandbagged you before doesn't mean that every Kate, Meg or Sable will.
Dodging people just because of the character they play is never a good reason.
Just give them a chance, because you never know when you will find the true diamonds in the rough.

You have way higher chance that it will be some of these survviors i mentioned than just dwight, leon, bill (these tend to more bodyblock and be compleatly clueless from my experience and from what i saw like videos from content creators from years).

Thats why people stereotype them, same as whiletop strongest and most played killers are hated for tunneling because the top best and effective things bring people that want to win by using best thing for achieving the win like in other games.

Majority of player base will paly as pale goth girl that drinks from cup in lobby than as locker dweller dwight boy.

There's a difference between occasionally dodging a bad lobby and habitually lobby shopping. Dropping out of lobbies screws with the matchmaking by causing backfilling, and shouldn't be done lightly.

People who hop from lobby to lobby every time they queue up are part of the problem with SBMM.

The only time I will dodge a lobby is when playing killer and there are 3 or more TTVs, because I know odds are good they're just going to be memeing or some other nonsense for their viewers. Beyond that, I just take it as it comes.

Ttv doesnt mean nothing only that maybe its swf mostly atlest duo and that there might exist some video about your game and thats it, I find personaly more beneficial to doge lobbyes with people that are playing on differnt platform (this is indicated by mark above their name) which means they are either playing on console or epic games so you are more likely doging cheaters which I find more smart than doging ttvs but its still personal preference and it doesnt screw games like dcing or giving up.

I think the underlying issue is that the character is popular, and thus attracting a wide range of players, of varying skill and playtime.

But you can't keep generalizing like that. I have seen just as many bad apples playing other characters as I have seen them on Sable. And it goes the other way around too. I have seen a lot of super-cracked Sables as well, who are excellent team players.

And just because you like Sable so much, have another one: Beware the wrath of Karen Sable.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/8D0V810GY3TP/karen-sable.png

Thats why they are universaly worst because the character attracts most players and tbh especialy the kind of those sandbaging ones same with megs and kates (if someone brings killer to you when you have almost done that one gen you were working on long time and you are on death hook that is super high chance its meg, sable or kate, maybe lora or feng).

Yes, its also a strong perk on Plague and Legion (if everyone is injured) and other one-shot killer. Myers has the advantage to only play one-shot bc he doesnt have a stalk cooldown like Ghostface.

All those perks (Bamboozle etc.) on Myers are kinda wasted. Yes, they feel nice, but you dont need them to down people quick. Thats like using enduring on Blight bc you swing through many pallets.

The really good part of PWYF on Myers is that you can farm stacks while stalking. And if everyone preruns you to a strong place (+ no gens in the area) you catch up a lot quicker.

If you play full chase build Myers good survivor will just destroy you. Its not even A-tier.

Yeah I forget stalk stops chase but chase build on mayersas you say is extream glass cannon it can make your chases super fast in evil incarnate mode but on other hand your gens will fly and you will mostly loose if survivors play spread because you having no mobility is destructive here.

  • Sables are universaly one of worst teammates ever just wanna killers attention for all themselfs but they drown team by trying to get it just mostly by going down super fast or just doing nothing than just following the killer and only other survivor stereotype that can try to go toe to toe against sable one are megs and kates, the pinicle of DBD teammate sandbagers.

  • @Yamach said:

Probably sees who the killer and leaves a lobby but it's good for killers no? Thats why Nurse players get less cheaters apparently, same with annoying anti loop and zoning killers never saw them having cheaters it's usually trapper, wraith players))

Thing is nurse is bad against cheaters because she cant counter speeding cheaters like blight can because her whole power is just teleporting into one place from which she can lunge (just like active hag with less counterplay and harder skill requirement) but killer who is very fast like blight can deal with cheaters super easy untill the can instaheal themself in one second than even blight cant get through their deffence.

  • I think they post some one post on twitter that basicaly mentions something about cheaters but thats like all and in 2025 I dont remember the devs being focused on doing something about cheaters just to solve tunneling (eventhey didnt had stated which form they count as tunneling and thats why both ptbs failed in first place) so lately I didnt saw nothing that should indicate that devs are planing to do something about cheaters just that they are aware of it, thats it.

Can happen but there is global sound cue when he reaches 50% of his stalk meter

    Not exactly.
The 50% stalk sound only plays for the ones who are getting stalked. The global sound cue plays when he's fully stalked.

Its still enough warning for people to get aware that he is near and if its like you say than its just pretty clear info like slingers sound cue when he is aiming at you directly or huntress one when she winds up.

    The facts are this.

    Bubba doesn't need Nerfing.

    Full stop.

Now you accuse me of camping, and trying to protect my interests, and I really don't care if you do.

No he doesn't need fixing, or nerfing. Don't unhook in his face. If he is camping. Then just focus on your objective the Gens, and let him have his kill.

I think some people shouldnt watch so much of Epidemys bubba clips because they believe your average bubba main play like this but in reality thats just top tier bubba (like guy who in top 10 best bubba players in the world I would say) with his best addons and bamboozle (without this single perk bubbas strenght is reduced minimaly by 50% because every strong window just turns him into pure m1 killer) and other strong perks that are meta or make his build around snowballing the whole or most of the survivor team easier while synergising with his addons.

Not to mention that skill expression on good bubba is way greater and bigger than on average blight player.

Bubba doesn't need nerfs, he needs a sidegrade, where his power is shifted elsewhere.
Take away his ability to double-tap people off of the hook, and change his power to be better in chases.
One major factor is the tantrum mechanic, which needs to be looked at, because that is what makes bumping into stuff so punishing.

And no, you should not defend your camping playstyle, because it is really scummy, unfun to verse, and unhealthy overall.

I think they already did that by giving unhooked survivors bigger time window when they cant be hit agains by saw but its buged now i believe and to oyur record bubba isnt only one who can double tap to get fast down from hook like blight whe m1 you and than rushes you down you will be still fast downed from hook or nurse if she hits two perfect bliks or huntress or trickster in open unsafe are can still down unhooked survvior super fast or ghoul so this been fixed on bubba I believe and probably is buged out plus its like strongest thing he can maybe do as lower tier killer.

What do you count as chase perks? PWYF with 2-3 stacks make him quite S-tier-lethal in an area without strong pallets. But you need to earn it while Nurse just has her power, doesnt need to waste perk slots and does not care how many good pallets and windows exist.

With 2-3 stacks of PWYF even ghostface with knife sherat leg addon can be super hard to deal with in chase wehn you are marked for instadown because he is 20-25% faster than normaly (only thing that hodls this down is that ghostaface is just super limited kiler and even with this perk with max value and addon he still doesnt get all chases super fast and has still bad map mobility).

For mayers so me addon plus perks like bamboozle, brutal, fire up are moe benificial I would say but he still has bad mobility and no ability to find survivors in tier 3 (that iri adoon that gives you evil incarnate mode when you hook survivor every time it resets it but its just 40 seconds with chase build can be hard to deal with but I still dont think it will beat good blight agaisnt good survivors).

  • @Yamach said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4046593#Comment_4046593

Agree he is kinda op even without good addons, he needs a less insta down duration and longer to tier up then I think he is fine

No need for both nerfs just maybe 20% longer to get evil incarnate mode ready but than he has no mobility so his duration isnt that strong compare to onis 45 seconds where he can zoom around map with great mobility and even with harder time getting power and harder choiceses with his reduction on getting hits with instadown etc. he still is stronger than mayers because of that mobility.

Thanks guys for answering my question!

Can happen but there is global sound cue when he reaches 50% of his stalk meter so if you hear it just look around and mostly if he is staring on you, you will notice it (he has 32 meters range for stalking basekit and cant hide himself like ghostface but than its way stronger in chase). Just tip because if he is standing in place he can have his evil within mode ready in 5 seconds I believe.

Nemesis actually had some meta value in Lights Out due to the coughing. if you are good at the whips the survivors would be permanently coughing.

First he would need to burn through vaccines and that meant one tenticle hit was escape so he was hindered by this and tbh plague was better if you were good with hearing sounds because her infection did more than nemi from the start.

That's why you drop chase if it takes more than a minute the more you chase different survivors off gens the slower gens will go it's amazing people can't understand this simple thing and keep on chasing the same survivor no matter how long it takes while the other survivors get to do gens in peace even if you use legion and constantly hit survivors with feral frenzy they have to keep mending and that keeps them off gens and that gives you more time to down them with m1's and hook them every killer has one ability whether it be dashing teleport long range trapping assistance from zombies drones guards dogs and others have instadown abilities there's really no reason you can't spread pressure other than lack of skill and you can't improve skill by tunneling.

Like I would didnt know when to drop chase, sometimes you dont have info and its better to take longer chase than just wonder around without success to target another survivor and if you do than chase with him can be long same even longer so I know very well when to drop chase and when Im about to loose no matter i do unless other side makes so mistakes.

Mending? It takes 10 seconds and with legion unless survivors are close to each other or one way yo you can get them in one direction like train than maending wont give you much of a slowdown it was nerfed through years.

Every killer doesnt have active ability and even some active abilities are bad like pigs dash or trap killers trapper or hag have just traps alone and try to tell me they are great (yeah only preset before chase takes part because when you set them in chase survivor just holds W so its not that good).

If survivor spread they still can do gens faster than you can spread preasure and get results especialy good survivors and this works 200% more if you have random perks but your preading preasure god, injuring is nice but doesnt stop gens unless its killer that is forcing survivors to heal or suffer quick down like blight/nurse and slugging plus tunneling are only super effective killers slowdowns that can be achieved without perks and addons, fast chases are nice but if you are having like 30 seconds chases which are quite fast with killer who isnt crazy with catch up mobility like ghoul than survivors can still do gens across the map and you waste time to get to the hook and than walk there which is just not great for preasure. Good presure is like hooked survivor 1, survivor 2 being chased and survivor 3 and 4 must split because someone must go for save and one gen can be getting progress but not every time you can have fast chases not with all killers.

You can improove your skill by building better macro and having knowleadge about whats going on on the map and who is where and than with good tunnel you can cause more preasure than with spreading hooks (how do you know that survivor doesnt have dh or deliverence?), tunneling is just chasing injured survivor nothing more and if you say you dont improove by doing chases and winning them than you are wrong here compleatly because chase is active activity way more than doing gen and proxycamp.

because bhvr allowed 2 killers who by design are incompatible with Lights Out; Doc and Legion.

they violated the spirit of the mode so they never should have been allowed. if you love Legion that much you woulda been fine being a Trapless Trapper but they didn't do that.

Not all killers were "viable" here like yeah legion and doc with their build in tracking were good but nemi was bad because if he whiped survivor he basicaly lost them in 95% of time automaticaly or some top killers were bad (which maybe want that bad) like nurse was worst for 100% because she was loud and couldnt get you with blinks becauswe everywhere was darkness and nurse must see where to blink, spirit give herself up by sound when phasing so easy to doge, dracula was top with wolf because of his tracking injured survivors and other of his abilities were good to, billy was super hardcore or bubba (but billy way more) becouse you didnt saw some progress bars such as gens or off killer powers like billys saw progres bar etc..

Hag was straight nightmare as jumpscare tbh and fun and ghostface was pretty fun too, dreadge was only less interesting because his nightfalls darkness was just there all the match (but still interesting killer but back then he made that turky sound for long distance and wasnt so quiet as now so he was very bad in this mode too), wraith was just pure classic and gold to play as etc..

  • @Classic_Rando said:

From what I remember it was pretty unpopular. I don’t think there are enough people who want it back for it to happen again.

If they shoved more auras to survivors like hooked person or gens than it would be way better or made more places where survviors could place those candles and not only gens which wasnt that great because not only all saw it but killer saw it too.

Ngl, Nurse's map mobility sucks. She's just completely insane in chases, and that makes up for it. Plus, she's good at closing gaps.

But she's not much faster than standard 115%, iirc.

She isnt fas tbut she can cover 32 meters in few seconds and ignore objects and walls which killers like wesker cant so I dont think she has that bad of a map mobility or multiple floors are super easy for her and thats why her map dependency isnt that high as it is on more 115% speed killers, my oppinon.

  • I mean some can deffinitely can but the skill must be very high and on top I dont think these killers get beaten by other in all specters of their powers because the combinations of things their power offers and how good can execute isnt that much like bubba with iriflesh+beast marks with solid build and very good skill can beat nurse in slugging potencial but in overall petencial he cant (like cath up,mobility, average fas tchase time and difficulty in being successful in chase etc.).

Yes, this comment isnt the most diplomatic answer from me, but im sick of people not reading correctly and assuming i have really dumb opinions.

I was on phone so opening some mesages is though on it here.

He is trap but he has chase power in his traps which other trap killers dont have (maybe artist if we consider her crows as traps when you place them on loops to get some zoneing or direct hit but other trap killers just have traps and pig has worst dash and its just pig).

According to the wiki, a hook stage should take about 70 seconds, even if you try and fail unhook, you should spent at least 80 seconds on the hook, which would mean, under 1 minute should be impossible by design, even if the survivor stay near the hook. Is it not? To achieve that you would have to have 2 survivors and a killer working together and spawn close to another, so that someone can be hooked, unhooked, waiting for endurance, hooked again. Even then endurance alone uses a third of the time.

    Or am I mistaken?

Thats how I mean it, to be able to die under a minute is either only viable by cheater or if you get unhooked and stay on place under hook and killer is putting you on hook again basicaly giving up while being farmed because now you cant speed up dying process by missing few skillchecks and dying instantly (this is only possible when there are two last survivor alive so the last can get hatch faster).

Not all situations are equal. No one is talking about people who ask for it. I double hook these as well.

Than why you bring such hard words, fast gens can be achived even without toolboxes and perks if survivors spread and all work on gens while one is preasured by killer and doesnt end up on hook in few seconds, in this mode there isnt much viability for genrushing builds but there isnt gen deffence too so its random and that means not all killers are equiped with basekit that can offer fast chases that lead to down or map preasure or any kind of preasure that can slow gen speed like look at legion without chase perks or iri button he is super bad in getting downs even while being m1 killer that has one of easiest times to get the one health state off realy fas tand reliably compare to others and still he isnt that good especialy with random things or trapper and hag they need some slowdown for set up because they without set up are super bad and for other side super easy to deal with (hag or trapper with no traps set is just super easy mode for survivors especialy where these killers dont have some hel from perks like endgame slugging combo so they can get second chance).

Tunneling is with slugging two strats that can help killer get preasure back without perks when they struggle and you can denny it as much as you want but this mode only prooves it more, on other side hardcore tunneling is easier and tunneling in general due to having small chance of resistence from perks which is truth but gens are fasr easier to which makes it more equal that it realy is if survivors jump all on the start on gens and killer is chasing one than if that one survivor isnt going down fast the 2 or even 3 gens can be done and there isnt much killer without strong power or super lucky build can do to catch up than try to get someone out with tunnel so he has chance to get 2 kills at this point or slug (massive slugging isnt easy and is binded to killers power and perks/addons too like iri flesh bubba will have easier slugging time than bubba without it, dracula will have easier time to get multiple sluggs than ghostface).

  • He is great in 1v1 probably maybe even best but he suffers from missing hard and looses lot of distance, he is 110 speed which on big maps or even good prerun maps such as RPD is very bad and currently he is weakes than many years ago because many holles and spaces between loops he could hit before are now filled with invisiable wall so what he can do before and good dlingers were rewarded greatly for isnt possible much today and he suffers from hit validation which is working bad for him with his distance loss when missing so thats why, his leathality is way worse than before so he isnt as good in chase as before that can be seen clearly by his kill rates.

They do work. Look at Singularity. But they need to have stats which adapt to the modern dbd (compare his trap setting speed to others, teleport range, base movement speed, etc.).

The question is what would happen then. Higher pickrate, more survivor complaining about the trapping killer, devs need to do more changes.

So yh maybe they dont work bc most dont want to play against them.

Larry is on different level his biopods can be set on longer dastance and super fast without any huge hinder to the killer and his chase ability buffs plus his catch up to infected survivors with mobility from his biopods that can be used acress the map compare to hags 40 meters and than she gets slowed hard nd than is 110 speed is something very different, thats like comparing old bubba from 2017 to bubba we have today who has beast marks + iri flesh.

Hag is unplayable in Chaos Shuffle, because she is unplayable if she doesn't have Rusty Shackles.

She's been broken for a super long time, because survivors can purposely bypass the camera spin penalty by running at traps with the camera facing the other way.

Same for trapper unless you get bad team you have some chance but the set up part with no slowdown or good endgame build as second chance is destructive and from this all weaker killers that are set up and weak suffer from.

  • Only one that works is dog from houndmaster but she can be doged or if other survivor is near than the dog grab has no chance of success if that survivor frees the grabed one and go to exit line.

Many killers have them but its just to create panic but it doesnt do anything because usualy almost in all cases the killers cooldown either from attack or special ability is so long so that survivor will still escape and the ones that had the power to get you hooks in gate area were nerfed.

Ghoul and Billy. And they don’t even need addons to be as strong. And before Ghoul defenders start talking about nerfs, just don’t. BHVR didn’t go far enough. His low skill floor makes him an S tier killer that is extremely accessible. That to me makes him as good as Nurse and Blight.

Thing is ghoul has low skill floor but compare to nurse and blight they outmatch him with their faster chase powers because good loopers can hold off ghoul way longer than good blight or nurse, thats something that has been tested because ghoul has “free hit”, high mobility with catch up and vault but still good loopers will have easier time against him compare to blight or nurse that are good.

Hopefully never. Both modes were totally awful to play as survivor.

My litle oni was just match against oni who was bigger and you were little so Idk how is playing agiainst oni awful (if you dislike oni I get you dont like that mode but that because of your personal preference, lights out I can dissagree with that but on other hand it was the closest thing to horror vibe we had since the og DBD from like 2016-18).

It can cheatr can do it or if all are hooked than they will die and you can if some off your teammate would rescue you and killer imideatly went for you (but you would need to get downed in few second and thats on you) but its still more if that survivor would saty under hook being idle than it can if they dont get rescued second time but its still time record so its cheater thing in 99% of the time.

  • @cogsturning said:

This is why the crying about gen speeds is bs. You have a mode where survivors can't bring commodious toolboxes with meta add-ons or gen speed boosting perks and the camping and tunneling are still rampant. Nothing other players do will change these people. It's the game that needs to change.

Yeah explain it to these megheads and sables that go from hook to bodyblock me when Im going for other survivor and than have pikachu face when I go for them after i hit them and scream he is tunneling, I love this hypocrisy.

  • @jasonq500 said:

I mean I probably know know why, they're straight up awful and not worth running

It genuinely makes me wonder why even bother being in the game especially when they haven't gotten any changes other than nerfs since the walking dead patch since then

It more looks devs removed bad stuf so survivors dont get vials and killer are having no busted addon but mostly the meme ones and the ones that change the power way to much are removed but somehow they forget on trapper and padded jaws are still viable which is strange even the purple bag is viable which I dont understand (starting with all traps but you cant remove them from the sopt you set them in and its usualy used on basement trapper or some area control trapper but with other top addons like iri stone so they reset so Idk why they left this in random mode).

  • @Wezqu said:

That is a good question. I would also want to know if items found in the trial and escaped with come into your inventory in the mode as you don't gain those at least that you get for free but you should get those that you find from chests still.

I think they should be yours as if you find item and escape in 2v8 it counts as yours so i guess its same in chaos shuffle.

I would get removing meme addons.

But for example Trapper still can get Padded Jaws, and Nurse can still get Dull Bracelet.

But meanwhile, Houndmaster is not allowed to use Trainer's Book, and Pyramid Head can't use most of his higher tier addons.

    Yeah pretty doesnt make sence.

I still hope they remove those aiming addons like on nurse, springtrap and all other killers that got them like krasue because I dont need them and its messing my aim up especilay flicking because Im not used to play with training addons and I think these training addons (the ones that show you yours projectile trajectory) should be removed too.

  • @indieeden7 said:

That's kind of the entire point of Chaos Shuffle, it's supposed to be Chaotic, survivors have been able to get No Mither with perks like Self Care or Dramaturgy ever since its first iteration.

Thing is certain addons make killers power super bad even worse than its in basekit and some have been cut from chaos (like that one which dissables bubbas saw instadown) but some still are there like padded jaws on trapper so Im surprised we cant choose how many perks or addons we will get.

NightLight is far too small of a sample size to be taken seriously. It has always underreported kill rates.

There's usually only 10,000 games per month reported. There's probably 10,000 games per HOUR in DBD.

They still arent that far from devs stats like in pick rates etc.

I'm glad we agree on Oni however I think the problem your referring too about Stalk times on Myers isn't basekit Myers problem cause he takes 6 seconds while standing still to fully get Evil Incarnate and 8-10 seconds while move stalking only to get evil incarnate.

The 3 second stalk problem is due to his Stalk addons which I believe are the problem. he has 3 stalk addons a 10% a 30% and a 40% increase in stalk speed addon.

The 40% green addon Judith journal let's you stalk 40% if your stalking the obsession

The 30% green addon Jewelry box let's you stalk survivors 30% faster for trade off of half your stalk range.

The 10% jewelry lets you stalk non moving survivors 10% faster. This ain't really a problem.

I believe Judith journal and Jewelry should be nerfed first before we nerf Myers himself to see if it's more fair and better.

I dont think you got it right (in theory but in practise you did) with mayers numbers because he needs 5 seconds to reach evil incarnate mode is 5 stalk points and from wiki its 1 point for second so when he is standing still and stalking he has to be there 5 seconds to reach it and when he is moving the modifier is 25% less so 5/0,75 = 6,6 seconds but in relalistic situation he will play global sound cue when he reacches 50% of his stalk meter so survivors will hide and he will have to move and when he is moving survivors usualy cover line of sight so its longer than 5 or 6,6 seconds (these nubers from wiki only work if survivor is just dont minding that mayers is standing there and stalking him and feeds him or he moves and stalks survvior in open), so usualy the fastest doesnt take 5 seconds but like 7 (if the one meg or sable doesnt feed him the whole thing) and if survivor is moving and blocking los it takes like 10+ seconds but he will reach that in 15 I believe.

    The addons that different thing.

The 30% green addon Jewelry box let's you stalk survivors 30% faster for trade off of half your stalk range.

This addon you got wrong because its 30% faster stalk rate for 50% reduction of stalking range (16 meters from 32/2=16).

The 10% jewelry lets you stalk non moving survivors 10% faster. This ain't really a problem.

I believe Judith journal and Jewelry should be nerfed first before we nerf Myers himself to see if it's more fair and better.

I have anything against keeping killers basekit strong and just adjusting addons (unless the addons will be super bad like having 2-6% faster stalking rate or something like that), Im more for killers basekit being good on its own and not so addon dependent like bubba, wraith and doctor are as exsample.

I've only played survivor so far in CS and the killers have been fine. It's my brain-dead team mates leaving me on hook or 95% the exit gate and getting everyone killed

The biggest killer in DBD are your teammates thats my experience from DBD because you expect the killer to get you its his job but your teammates letting you die or sandbagging you when its not needed (they need to drop killer from them because they are dead on hook and you arent so I get this, usualy they brought killer to me when they have beed hooked once or even wasnt been hooked and Im ded on hook tbh).

  • Thanks a lot i have a feeling it was somewhere but i couldnt find it.

  • Tbh Im starting to be more cautious with having survivors that are from different patform (the people playing on console or epic have this above their name in lobby) which means there is higher chance that (especialy survviors but i mostly beware this as killer because thats what are cheating survivors going for to ruin killers game and mosty saving other survivors) they are cheaters.

Survivors with very simular names (like: weskers princess, weskers dog and simular bs) which is clear indication they are in swf but I dont doge them because these swf players are usualy normal and they dont hide it (by their names), the ones that dont show it are more toxic and way more sweaty from my experience.

  • @Guest said:

how do I report a cheater? Had a blatant one shot killer kill my solo que team. Worst of all after one shotting us and having us die on hook I got a down grade message for intentionally dying.

Edit. My next match after said one above and posting this mssg I got insta morried upon spawning in. My whole team was insta morried. #########!?!?!

In game you can report them (there is mark behind their name,Idk how it is on consoles) and this report is fastest and only catches the cheaters that get roported by many players such as these killer bots that kills all survviors under minute, or you can come here on forums and somewhere fill the report but some evidence is need i belive and it takes way more time and its effectivenes (from what I heard and read) is pretty very small and its just time waste but its up to you how will you decide to continuewith your reports.

It's funny you know just when I finished reading your post, I get a blatantly cheating duo Ace and Steve. Flying and speedhacking type of hacks. You know the drill by now.

I'm no longer getting angry at these types of people, only disappointment. Can you imagine how their parents must feel when their child is ruined to this?

It's pathetic but I believe cleaning these worthless fools from the Earth would make online video gaming a greater experience for all of us. Not like anybody will miss them, neither do their parents lmao

Worst part is there is nothing you can do and question still stays: Will you try to fight them to give them more fun (or content becaues many cheaters stream or make clips which is sick but real) so they dont hold you hostage (alone or with other survivors, yes they can stun them and hold game hostage there) or will you just stay there and wait and risk their wrath? (meaning they will just hold you hostage for fun or payback so you either use dc and have penalty or wait a whole hour untill server shuts down).

he is a ton of fun to face, which is sad that it's hard to convince people to play them. turrets are fun!

Back in a day people enjoyed bubba or demo and they were top ones everyone want to loop but nowdays bubba is camper with oneshot not fun and demo is marked zonening master not fun so Idk what they want but I dont think they even know what want in a first place.

For xeno well he is just harder nemesis (for me less fun because whiping poor megs is more fun), I pulled 4 games now in chaos shuffle and 3 of them were toxic swf that just complain about everything so I guess only survivors that want to see xeno are only here on forums instead in the game.
