  • It would be good especialy xeno with predator in 2v8 being both playable.

From power perspective we have many options here range like attacks like plazma cannon or pistol, spears, plazma mines or different traps, invisibility like wraith, whip and more.

I wouldnt say it would be something new like he would be most likely killer with stealth cloak and some shorter range attack maybe some traps, mobility I guess it wouldnt be option even tho predators are very agile, it would be still nice better than having character like darth vader thats more far from horror than things like predator.

I wouldn't go for Krasue, she gets boring pretty quickly. Her skill floor and skill ceiling are about the same.

Singularity is very strong killer, but I usually get also bored quickly simply because how much you will stomp soloQ.

Out of those two, I would definetly go for Singularity. He is not easiest, but at least worth time sink.

Plus perks, his perks have some use but krasues are realy bad like hooking all survivors once to get global exposed for minute, just equip hauntedgrounds or her hex perk there isnt much to tell about.

  • Larry is way to go why?

From killer gameplay perspective he doesnt feel that clunky, his power is more stronger and fun than krasues that feels slow after nerfs and (from my experience) worst than twins.

Krasue has kinda very bad perks compare to larry who has good slugging perk force hesitation which is great on killers like bubba, huntress, perk that makes survivors exhasted and machine learning which was nerfed but still its solid perk.

Its your call but if I had to make same choice I would pick larry, krasue doesnt feels special just worse twins.

Let the downvotesflow because all survivor enjoyers will hate this comment due to facts why no one plays her.

I've gone against two so far and they seemed fine

Yeah he seems ok like only big difference is dash distance that is 50% longer which is now from 14 meters to 21 so two wesker dashes in straight line, his turn rate speed is increased by 10% so I doubt he can 180 flick thats fake new and his hidey hode mode is longer by 15% plus he breaks pallets when he scampers under them.

No power recharge speed so its 14 secondsas in1v4 and his dash speed is same and these two things are more inportant than majority of things they gave him in 2v8.

  • How is he better?

All he can do is get one healt state injure easier than in 1v4 with his dash but this isnt something crazy like weskers third dash with cooldowns of almost ghouls or blight with speed and faster recharge or draculas all powers buffed.

I find it annoying that he's seen as a problem when I destroy them no problem. people for some reason feel the need to give free hits and let them go on a stabbing frenzy.

meanwhile, the fundamentally broken character in 2v8, Oni, gets so many buffs to make him so easy to play when he should have gotten nothing and he'd still have been op on principle.

Oni has nothing untill he gets his power and even if he slugs 3 survivors with basekit untislug one or two will get up (depending on distance between downs).

Legion on the other hand isnt strong by himself but by being teammate with strong killer that can get hit easily like 2v8 blight, nurse, huntress, wraith, wesker he just buffs all these killers while slows survivors little with mending and massively with healing because they just cant stay all match injured like against legion in 1v4 you have other killer out there that can get hit super fast like blight, spirit and this makes legion so strong in 2v8 not to mention build in info with killer instinct that can be used when two killers play togeather and use coms the other killer cna have huge info from legions killer instainct plus legion just makes oni powered all the time because blood orbs are everywhere.

If you use his power for mobility and then just m1 all the survivors for a 4k, does it really matter what killer you played at that point?

His power as mobility alone is one of best map traversal + catch up to survvior powers alone and he can get pallet break or hit from it so its not that weak plus its way esier to use than billy on average or than bubbas saw on loops (one bump and you loose all the distance, preasure and potencial of quic down or breaking pallet and all charges).

I started giving up as killer (although not DCing, just opening the gates and not chasing anyone) in hopeless games against bully squads, because it makes playing killer much less stressful. 95% of the killer stress and therefore the famous killer anxiety comes from desperately trying to win an impossible game, like against a coordinated SWF with second chances. Lacking experience, you think you can do something, because you still hit them, you still hook them, but it's a bait and all of it is for naught, as with all of their additional health states, saves, coordination and body blocks they just push the gens and teabag you at the gates, safely unhooking anyone you manage to hook during the endgame. This is always frustrating, because you are trying your best, hyperfocused, and still fail miserably. But when you just open the gates and move on, it doesn't happen, as you are no longer trying to win a hopeless game. You save time, effort and mental health, skip all the humiliation, and sometimes piss off the toxic bully squad that hoped for your attention. And what is more important, being ready to drop a hopeless game makes queueing as the killer no longer unnerving as it used to be, it makes it close to playing survivor: "worst case I just die, no big deal", but instead "worst case I just open the gates, no big deal". It's the ultimate cure against the killer anxiety, without which I would've probably just uninstalled for a few months again, but I continue playing for a long period without burning out.

Tbh you must be psychology profesor because one of best way of people that tend to attention is to ignore them and bully squads just hate to be ignored thats not why they decided to play to just do gens and get ignored but they came there to tilt the hell from the killer and make him reage quit or be mad for their amusement but you just denny them, what a monster.

Personaly I know they will be insulting me in most cases in chatt so I fight dirty as they by strategicaly slugging and tunneling them because I dont want to spend the gam just sit in the corner (try it as wraith and most will hate you xd).

Full bully squads dont do gens so its just matter of time before they all die or one gets lucky on hatch and I do it to honor all these baby killers that were crushed by toxic bully squads. If I give up as killer its when its end or almost end of the game and theres 0,11111110000% chance for me to win so I just let go so I can end it faster and I dc when is cheater because of devs inaction there is nothing you can do against cheater nowdays and if he holds you hostage I dont have 1 hour to spare so I take penalty thats less punishing (unless you face many cheaters in few games and prnalty is hours long).

hard disagree. indoor maps can slightly reduce blights efficiency but not enough to warrant not making him 4.4m/s. his power is so good that he can outplay pretty much every loop in the game with good bump logic. making him 4.4 will help out the survivors against blights that will just brute force a loop while their power is on cooldown. either getting a pallet or a free injury. it also doesn’t make sense why blight gets rewarded with 4.6m/s after missing his very lethal power. survivors should be rewarded when outplaying blight’s power, but with how short his fatigue is and being 4.6, he loses almost no distance or pressure by failing his rush.

an argument i will make is that making him 4.4 will do little to nothing for the already cracked blight players, as they usually hit 9.5/10 of their rushes anyways. which is why basekit nerfs are needed imo (reduced amount of rushes, longer fatigue and token recharge cooldowns) to make it an all around nerf to all blight players rather than just the less experienced ones.

I think making him 110 will stop any further hard nerfs on his power (because 110 killers need stronger and better power than 115 ones due to their weaker chase) and as you said most of blights downs and value comes from his rushes not m1 so he would work good and would be still top tier.

  • Indoor maps, really? There is ton of killers that are worse or countered by indoor maps like huntress and what about chainsaw duo billy and bubba they are done on indoor maps way more than blight.

If he would be 110 speed yeah larry and hawkins plus top of rpd would be hard to play on but good blights can still be solid on indoor maps just look at momoseventh where he in his blight streak lost against swf win streak on hawkins some of his fast chained rushes are outplaying survivors where I wouldnt even dare as blight.

Yes and no. He has to activate the Worldbreaker first. It's 3 hits for the first injury. Missing outside of Worldbreaker means you're going a long time as a 110 killer without being able to injure. M1s are extremely suboptimal for this killer. Every M1 is 1 less token.

If he's consistently getting Worldbreaker every minute on the minute, people aren't dodging or respecting his TR.

Yeah not to mention that 2 hits to start the clock must be on one survivor and without clock he is just harmless.

Every miss has huge slowdown in speed for him plus he is 110 so even its spammy its actualy hard to land like 0,6 seconds delay before veins hit when he clicks m2 and radius of that vein attack is 1,46 meters and survvior in 0,6 second has like 2,4 meters he can travel so if you arent running straight and you arent super predictiable he will have hard time to land hits and breaking los is very strong against him as it is against nurse.

Wesker didn't drop really in so much as they fixed a few of his things like tunneling being extra strong, and since the loops have changed. We now have far more short loops where his power is effectively useless at.

He droped a lot and fact is he got nerfed like infection build up and infection rate was nerfed and fully infected survivor is now 4% hindered compare to old 8%.

Weskers ability is nowdays easy to counter and same as on huntress people have learned how to play against him (when he is or was in top 5 most picked killers no wonder), wesker is just not as good as he was before and without expert and harder techs and golden egg addon he is b-tier.

  • God no, now there is only one variant from previous 4 and Im getting this realm 1000% more often than ever.

  • @Junylar said:

End-game is the humiliation ritual for the killer. If you got to 1 gen remaining and all 4 of them are alive, you've already lost. There is nothing to secure at this point, either accept your pity bloodpoints or open the gates and stare into the wall. Those 15 seconds make it mathematically impossible to carry survivors further than they can run under endurance, unless you use Agitation. If you consistently get to the endgame with full teams - your performance as the killer is low, so either the killer/build is too weak or you are playing against survivors with more experience than yourself. Remember, your goal is to make it 3v1 by the time 2 gens are remaining, that's the bottom line for losing, but the earlier - the better.

Some killers can get kill like bubba, billy, huntress, springtrap and others when they paly good but than killers like ghostface, trapper, merchant are just punching bags and I know majority from what I named can be teamed by 3 rescuing survivors especialy if they dont have instadown like bubba, billy, mayers (ghostface has no power when there is hooke/dwoned survivor staring at him when he is in night shroud which is strange because no other killer can be countered by survivors that are downed or hook but ghostface is only punching bag in this exception), huntress has great comeback if she hits hatchet or dracula, blight, ghoul can catch up fastand get that down again but on most killers if survivors dont screw up when there are still 4 alive and one is hooked while all gens are done and gates are open or 99 than its mostly gg especialy with perks like Dead hard.

He will drop in time as wesker did and many others.

    • Considering a Vecna of "average" skill (i.e. not too good, but not too bad either), it is not OP. His M2 is really easy to dodge, much easier than Pyramid Head's M2 for example. In my opinion, Devs should revisit the Clock mechanic: Survivors waste way too much time with the clock... I think he's the longest "secondary objective" killer in the game, longer than Pig and his Bear Traps, longer than Pinhead and his cube, longer than Alien and his turrets. This is why Hex Totem builds are so common with Vecna. Considering his power and good mobility, he doesn't need this extra "help." I would fix this by adding 1 more clock to the map, decreasing the music listening "time", and if 2 survivors listen to music, the time should be LITERALLY halved, currently if 2 survivors listen to music, it changes almost nothing.

Thing is the clocks are his only real power of dealing damage with his power (m2 or mobility exit animation) and he needs two hits on the same survivor to start them and as you said his attacks are easy to avoid (like phead he must hit where will survvior be in 0,6 seconds Idk about and down will be stats from wiki to make bigger picture, keep in mind survvior makes distance of 4 m/s in 1 second).

Vine Attack - Area Of Effect:

    • Area of Effect delay: 0.6 seconds
    • Area of Effect linger time: 0.3 seconds
    • Area of Effect radius: 1.46 metres
    • Area of Effect height: 5 metres
    • Anti-camp range = 8 metres
    • Anti-camp Area of Effect delay: 6 seconds

So from this if i get it right the hitbox of his vine attack (m2) is 1,46 meters wide (the circles widness from which vines come from) and 0,6 second from 4m/s is (60%) 2,4 meters so in that time survivor can doge hitbox by 1 meter, its close call but he wont be damaged.

Pyramidhead is I think more hard to hit because his punishment (m2 attack) travels slow and has 0,5 meters wide hitbox which can be doged quite easily even in narrow corridors or parts of the loops.

Thing about clocks is that if they nerf it too much than he wont be that good and will be more like uknown aka harmless where when he gets clock and misses more he wont get anything from his power just two pointles m2 hits that started it and I fear this because I dont want to have another uknown situation on cool killer.

Put downvotes here if you dislike facts held by basic math Idc.

Well, but he can do it… It's also not that rare, especially when he uses it on god window/pallet. Survivor is just dead there, so it's better to try hit the timing and vault back.

By your definition (down is M1) Nurse was M1 killer. You are just not happy with it, because she was breaking standard chase too much for you. Well, Kaneki is breaking it too much for me. Same concept, different limits.
Kaneki does exactly same thing, just to different level.

Either none of them are "just M1 killers", or both are(were).

And even with that your logic: Can Spirit down with her power? Because if yes, then so does Kaneki. Not really that hard to end next to survivor with his low fatigue for down. That's a hit he wouldn't get if he just walked, so I would say he got that down because of his power, no?

Well, but he can do it… It's also not that rare, especially when he uses it on god window/pallet. Survivor is just dead there, so it's better to try hit the timing and vault back.

Yeah you are right with "he can do it" but I must object its not that consistent if its not buged like it was few weeks before now on him and wesker or when this vault hit on him was like 2 meters long (first og kaneki, the s-tier one and his strongest version when relesed) and kidnap tech was a thing so kidnap tech + long hitbox vault hit was a thing but now you must more run into him just like its on wesker (kanekis vault hitbox is/ should be by devs claim shorter than weskers).

Another thing is it helps get that m1 hit and as you said god loops are good for this because they are often long wall path blocked with pallet or strong window (nowdays majority is pallet) and this is where his vault shines but on loops where its shorter path to pallet or back into window or there are two of them (pallet or window or pallet pallet/ window into window) this vault isnt that good without kidnap tech because before he can catch up survivor can make safe space between with that resource (pallet/window).

Nurse was as I said m1 based killer where her only way to down you was m1 hit aka bassic attack, her chae that is 100% different than any other killer in the game thats different thing she cant realy "chase" survivor but just teleports near him to land that hit.

And how does kaneki do same as nurse??

You now kinda getting it weird here first he must down with m1 hit but unlike nurse he must respect walls, objects and loops and some like god pallets/windows he can kinda ignore with his vault which only thing same as nurse is he needs m1 hit to get down.

And even with that your logic: Can Spirit down with her power? Because if yes, then so does Kaneki. Not really that hard to end next to survivor with his low fatigue for down. That's a hit he wouldn't get if he just walked, so I would say he got that down because of his power, no?

Can spirit do it? No her power has no hit its just mobility and she exits it when she wants or runs out of it charges and must m1.

Can blight down with his power, yes its special attack. Now the main part, can kaneki down with his power? kinda but vault is special attack so it goes off from this argument and after he ends his leap/ cancels it he must hit with m1.

Getting down because his power helped isnt 100% same as getting down with his power (meaning he slaped the survivor with his leap like wesker or blight) but ended near and continued with base speed and m1 hit.

Either none of them are "just M1 killers", or both are(were).

All this happened because you didnt specify wgat you mean by "m1 killer". This term is very open and you meant by it I guess killer that damages only with m1 attacks (which funnily spirit kinda is).

I dont see him as m1 like pig, ghostface but I see him partly as m1 too because 99,99999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of times your downs come from m1 hits aka bassic attack which is 50% of damage he does and from high tier killers he is mostly more m1 use of killer and can be looped as m1 (to few exeptions like god pallets where his vault helps but now all loops can be solved with his vault especialy now when kidnap tech isnt a thing anymore). I said he is m1 based killer by meaning m1 when using this term on him without more expleaning (due to time and expecting some inteligence in understandment).

So lets say We both see him as Not m1 killer but I stay that he is more based m1 killer than many top tiers. The thing is m1 killer falls as term when we consider some addons on killers like wraith, legion that can make/shape their power into antiloop simular to kanekis, spirits but weaker. Further more I would end it here so we both have more time for more productive things and dont loose time here on not that impoertant things. We agreed on something and have different oppinions on other parts of this topic.

PS: if that one downvote on most of my post about this discussion between us is yours I gladly accept it to my collection.

  • Very solid killer, little more overrated from content creators like he is great when you chase survivor that doesnt change direction and is readeable as book for 5 year old running straight like headless chicken but once you go against survivors that can evade your attacks while holding W than you will struggle.

Hitting his vine attack isnt easy and is like phead attack only its little easier but he has to hit more hits (2 more on one survivor to start the clock so he can damage with his vine attack). Missing with him is punished by distance which on killer that moves slover by regular speed and when holding his vine attack is very punishing.

His mobility isnt bad but you dont hear a thing due to its loud noice so things like fiding a hatch with it are worse than just walking with his 110 speed, his mobility isnt great for catching up because his exit attack takes pretty long and survivor will get free distance when he runs straight, looping him around hooked survivor makes him 110 m1 killer brcause his powers are very bad using close to hooked survivors so if someone runs shack and other surv is hooked down there in basement you cant win that shack in short time.

Overall nicely done killer, I dont think he needs some changes he is pretty well done.

Nurse ignores all objects (walls, pallets, windows, walls, rcoks, threes) 24/7 while kaneki ignores pallets partly and there are restrictions on that so this argument isnt much good, same as wesker or krasue ignore vault locations or chucky are they nurse like? No.

It doesn't matter. Your argument is because he downs with M1 he is M1 killer.

So Nurse was M1 killer exactly same as Kaneki is… You are just having different limit where killer stops being just M1.

If you dislike it that much find me source where is stated that ghoul can down casualy with something different than bassic attack?

That's easy… He can down with his vault. Sometimes you don't even need to be close to the vault.

Vault hit yeah it only works if survivor runs into you or its bugged ,next?

I don't need next, one is enough.

Btw still doesn't work. Old Nurse could down only with M1, so Kaneki is technically less M1 killer than old Nurse… Yet you don't seem to think she was M1 killer.

I dont know how often you look at something in DBD but his vault has like 1m hitbox and survivor must be duper close to the killer after the vault, his vault has even shorter hit range than weskers, imagin.

Old nurse had m1 hits because she couldnt be able to use many perks with effects like exposed or perks like sloppy but this changed after wesker was released due to build awakened awaerness+lethal persuer+star struck which gave nurse wallhacks quite often with oneshot.

Kaneki technicaly can get downs with different type of damage than bassoc attack but the question is, how reliable are these downs that aren from m1 hit?

Vault down is when survivor runs into him after he vaulted just like on wesker and getting downed from deepwound you need to ignore it and let the meter dpleate which only happens in two types of situations, first is new players that have no clue even now its more clear on their screen than before and second are survivors that just want to give up to abandon or die fast, so his downs in majority are m1 downs.

I would still like to know why it was a good idea for Billy to get basekit bloodlust on his power (overdrive). He just needed some tweaks to his saw to be a bit more competitive at loops. They overdid it and now you get slugging at 5 gens Billy players like its 2019 again.

The difference is now they need to be actualy skilled because instasaw billy almost exist and that addon makes him 110 speed, not like in 2019 where billy downed you with saw in less than 2 seconds.

they already nerfed him like 3-5 times.

at that point people gave up, delusionally defend him because "he takes skill bumping into walls" or because they need another free2play killer that can get to 2k+ winstreaks.

we have better chances at ghoul getting nerfed than blight.

100% ghoul will get nerfed more and sooner than blight the golden child of DBD and nurse will get either nerf or rework before blight will get nerfed or touched by devs, trapper will be b-tier after rework and many other things will happen, blight is fun character i have to give them that but he should be 110 speed and loose like 2 tokens when he breaks pallet and he would be perfect, strong and fun while being harder killer to play.

Personaly Im shocked that the literally flash of DBD is still 115% speed but what surprise it took them 2 years to remove hug tech from him (he still is strong by comp players he is top number 1 killer in the game) and his busted addons like og compound 33 or alchemy ring while killers like ghoul got nerf in 1-2 months, dracula, chucky, krasue (I dont denny some of them were strong as hell but nothing compare to blight who is still king of DBD).

  • @THE_Crazy_Hyena said:

Blight really does not need much in terms of changes.

    • Base movespeed reduced to 110%
    • Pallet breaks resets tokens to zero
    • Slightly faster token recharge to compensate.

Movement speed to 110, pallets breaking takes two tokens (zero is too much just two thats number you need to use with your power to break pallet at lowest and its solid time for 110 killer)

No need for token recharge buff with this just two simple changes for more fair blight.

Nurse can be number one if her speed is 98% so she cant chase without using her power compare to all killers.

She was technicaly but she works compleatly differently and she doesnt loop by respecting pallets and windows and doesnt respect walls and objects.

Exactly what I am saying about Kaneki… Not sure what you complain about
He ignores god pallets, windows and distance doesn't matter for him.

He works 50/50 he makes everyone injured with his special attack and other half is m1 into downs but wait ghoul has the same thing only difference is that he has basekit antiloop in vault and mobility (legion has iri addon button that gives him some antiloop, best addon) so now we entered real deal what is m1.

So on one hand you have Legion who is closest to killer without power as soon you are injured and on other hand killer who can use his power to close distance quickly, get free hits on larger loops, and better ones even use it to bodyblock you mid loop.

that he has basekit antiloop in vault and mobility

Exatly, that's why it's misleading to say Ghoul is just M1 killer after you are injured, because he still has antiloop and mobility he can use…

Exactly what I am saying about Kaneki… Not sure what you complain about

Distance is different thing but he cant down instantly from it like blight so you have to count that and just dont run into open like you do agains clown, every killer has different power and not all strats work on every killer the same like you dont do this to blight, dracula, billy because it doesnt end well sometimes and you know you can do it to legion, trapper, pyramidhead, mayers because they lack the mobility to catch up.

So on one hand you have Legion who is closest to killer without power as soon you are injured and on other hand killer who can use his power to close distance quickly, get free hits on larger loops, and better ones even use it to bodyblock you mid loop.

Yeah just better legion, nothing more just legion with easier hit with distance, weskers vault (better) and blights mobility, core of getting downs is m1 hit aka basic attack so just boosted legion.

Exatly, that's why it's misleading to say Ghoul is just M1 killer after you are injured, because he still has antiloop and mobility he can use…

Many killers have it like legion with addon, clown even trapepers traps are antiloop, all that depends it how good it is which ghols are good for now (mostly buged but what isnt in DBD right?) but he downs with m1 aka bassic attack.

If you dislike it that much find me source where is stated that ghoul can down casualy with something different than bassic attack?

Vault hit yeah it only works if survivor runs into you or its bugged ,next?

The bleeding out from deep wound but the thing is this can happen only if survivor is new or gives up and lets this effect down him but I dont see any of these two types of getting down being done so regularly as m1 hit that causes the down in 99% of times doesnt it?

Wraith is pretty much in same gategory. He gets benefit of downing with M1, but his chase is not really M1 killer gameplay.

what people mean is that the killer can down with m1 hits

No, they don't. Especially in connection with Kaneki. That's said on purpose downplaying his power level, because most M1 killers are considered to be on weaker side, but that's in most cases because of lack of mobility. Ghoul doesn't have that.

Ghoul, Spirit, Wraith etc. their chases are not even close to what you would have as standard M1 killer. They can deny things that are available against normal killers, so their chase is not standard.

If M1 would be meant as "killer can down with M1 hits", then there is absolutely no reason to even bring it up in argument, because that's 100% positive in terms of perks you can use.

You realize Nurse for most of her time was basically M1 killer, because that's how her attack was treated. So it was fine, she was just M1 killer…
She was never called to be just M1 killer, because she was not even close to be one. Neither is Kaneki…

Wraith is pretty much in same gategory. He gets benefit of downing with M1, but his chase is not really M1 killer gameplay.

It is unless you had like few addons that change that and make his cloak useable in chase without them its just mobility with stealth but you have to uncloak for 3 seconds.

Lets do the match survivor runs 4 m/s x3 is 12 m/s in that time wraith uncloaking on survivors level gets 1,6 m/s x3 is 4,8 m/s so 12 vs 4,8 and after uncloak wraith gets 6m/s for 1 seconds in which survivor makes another 4 m/s so survivor distance 16 m/s in 4 seconds and wraiths is 10,8 ms so if survivor runs wraith without addons for faster uncloak isnt doing anything with his power if survviors move and on top killer looses more distance when survviors hug objects so this makes the difference bigger.

Wraith without meat addons is m1 killer mostly because his cloak does nothing in chase maybe helps catching up but without addons it isnt that great either due to his distance loss when uncloaking.

what people mean is that the killer can down with m1 hits

No, they don't. Especially in connection with Kaneki. That's said on purpose downplaying his power level, because most M1 killers are considered to be on weaker side, but that's in most cases because of lack of mobility. Ghoul doesn't have that.

So you mean only m1 killers are the weakest m1 based killers? Thats your explenation but not everyone can see it the same, ghoul in downing survivor is mostly m1 killer he cant down with onother way unless you run into his face when he vaults which is same hit as wesker has.

Ghoul, Spirit, Wraith etc. their chases are not even close to what you would have as standard M1 killer. They can deny things that are available against normal killers, so their chase is not standard.

Trapper can end chases too quickly with trap, does it not make him m1 killer? No he is but his power work differently same with wraith and spirit, ghoul your explenation of m1 killer is m1 based killer who is currently underpowered but Im talking based m1 killers which ghoul is same as spirit, clown, wraith, ghostface, singularity, slinger, pig (dash that isnt m1 but she is trash so she is considered m1 thsat whyt you mean as m1 here I guess, technicaly she isnt m1 because she can down in chase with dash power that sspecial attack but if we consider its trahs dash I would say she is m1 in your category and even in my by being m1 based killer because using her dash for downs isnt that real as it sounds and thats why majority of pig players just uncrouch and go normaly for hit or potencionaly grab).

It all depends how you want to judge what is m1 killer but its wide question.

If M1 would be meant as "killer can down with M1 hits", then there is absolutely no reason to even bring it up in argument, because that's 100% positive in terms of perks you can use.

Perks? Some can give your m1 oneshot ability or even ghostface has instadown (make your choice basekit for each survivor basicaly said). Do you considere ghostface m1?

From technical reasons its still m1 hit with just double damage (two health states instead of two) so no special attack the comparison can be made in mayers comparing his old tier 3 with his attacks having exposed and now in evil incarnate mode he has slaughtering strike which downs but is special attack.

Exposed: Survivors suffering from Exposed are extremely vulnerable to a Killer's Basic Attack, putting them into the Dying State with a single hit.

Basic attack is m1 hit from technical perspective.

You realize Nurse for most of her time was basically M1 killer, because that's how her attack was treated. So it was fine, she was just M1 killer…
She was never called to be just M1 killer, because she was not even close to be one. Neither is Kaneki…

She was technicaly but she works compleatly differently and she doesnt loop by respecting pallets and windows and doesnt respect walls and objects.

What you mean as m1 is

, an "M1 killer" (Mouse 1) is a character who relies primarily on their basic melee attack to injure and down survivors, rather than using their special ability (power) to deal damage. These killers often lack built-in tools to easily break loops or damage survivors at a distance.

Some killers are considered m1 but they have another abilities like wraith, clown. They have tools to help them in chase (wraith with addons) but their main part of dealing damage and getting downs is m1.

    What legion is he m1???

He works 50/50 he makes everyone injured with his special attack and other half is m1 into downs but wait ghoul has the same thing only difference is that he has basekit antiloop in vault and mobility (legion has iri addon button that gives him some antiloop, best addon) so now we entered real deal what is m1.

I personaly dont see ghoul as pure m1 but he is m1 based killer especialy in getting downs which is something you cant denny, legion makes this dilema but what makes him more of a m1 is his lack of mobility and antiloop in my oppinion.

If your m1 killer is weaker m1 based killers like ghostface, trapper, pig, legion that I get you and i agree that ghoul isnt that but from in game things and gameplay wise of getting downs he is m1 partly more than blight, dracula, twins, billy, nurse, krasue, pyramidhead, mayers which yo ucant denny because all these killers can down with another attack in chase effectively compare to ghoul whose vault (if its not bugged but wesker had this bug too, they are the same just with different numbers in speed and walk speed after vault) is just there as some punish survivor tool (still can be palyed around) and he cant down with another attack than m1.

If you play Ghoul as M1 killer against injured survivors, you are just bad Ghoul and can't even use such easy power…

Yeah because after you hit them with leap and injure them now what? How will you play against them?

You can use his leaps to close distance and cut them off but this works easily if they run into open area where only safe thing to reach is what you cutt from them and than chase them down before they can reach other safety resource (quite missplay from survivor in this case, threat him like blight in this matter a weaker one so no running into nothing where he can easily catch up).

He can than use his vault that is only good when he is enraged (injured survivor with leap or hit him over the object but the distance was over 2,5 meters so hit couldnt connect and no injury was made still he gets enraged for shorter time), this ability is strong but very dependent on type of loop like if its window and pallet close togeather on one loop than his vault is weak and even on loops like shach he cannot always get that down with use of his vault.

What can do ghoul than? Cutting survivor with leaps, he can do it on loops but its also super loop dependent like shack is doable and some two rounded rock loop with pallet arent or are super hard to pull and in oder to do this ghoul needs to aim quicly and be very accurate due to his autoaim hitbox if he aims close to survivor that is deepwounded he will pull to him and suffer long cooldown or injure him into deep would which wont help you get faster down on injured survivor, he is with this like blight rush+ wraith bodyblock but its hard and good survivor can evade this by turning back if he reads the ghoul.

So thats all ghoul can do I dont say its weak but his downs come in majority of cases with chasing survivor down and hitting them with m1 attack and his leaps can help him to achieve that but its not guarantee.

Personaly I think his vault needs to be slower a little and he will be fine just legion with blights mobility and weskers vault. The thing with ghoul is his power is miracle of DBD coding and devs cant change him much because it wouldnt work and whole rework isnt something they want to do on him so its hard but still you cant denny he wasnt looked at compare to blight who had hug tech for 2 years and had most op addons after purple tombstone in the entire game og compound 33, alchemy ring, does it ring a bell or you missed this part of the time when it was in the game?

hen you're playing against an M1 killer

Oh right, M1 killer who counters hold W and god pallets/windows.

Such a normal M1 killer. He is about M1 killer as Spirit, technically yes, but no…

Wraith counters holdin W is he not m1 killer????

What about clown he can partly stop or hinder holdind W is he not m1,Freddy??

The ghoul isnt m1 killer but he gets easy hit and has weskers vault that is stronger and than just has his vault and can close distance but has to down you with m1 so technicaly he is easiest to loop from top tier killers.

The deffinition of m1 can be expalined in many ways but what people mean is that the killer can down with m1 hits, its not pure m1 115% speed killer without any mobility or antiloop like skullmerchant or ghostface but he is partly m1 as you said only with legions ability to take first hit and weskers vault that is buffed while having blights like mobility (blights mobility is thing that can make m1 115% speed killer without any mobility b-tier material so no wonder that he is with all of that top tier and in top 5 strongest killers in the game).

Bruh just cause it doesn't make wraith op doesn't mean its not a Cheese ball strat that shouldn't be fixed. I'm sure next patch devs just will make it wraith will have to physically kick gens to trigger the addon.

That addon needs rework than like after breaking action your uncloak speed will be faster by solid number because that addon alone is meme addon like padded jaws or that no turn first second billy addon and makes the killer worse than he realy is and without it this addon is dead as it was before it, when you kick something cloaked you want to stay cloaked after it in 99,999999% of times to use your speed to catch up and not to reveal yourself and loose time and distance.

Just shame when something not op that can shift killers addon use is killed right away and pushes people to hard meta but personaly Idc because for me getting 4 hits on open map through whole game while sacrificeing one addon and perk slot isnt worth it unless you meme it or stream to mass tbh, let the devs decide to choose how they want to aproach it I just hope they wont nerf wraith in basekit or butcher that addon because they are capable doing something like “nerf pig” moment even after 10 years of DBD balance experience.

I disagree, they are problematic. Sure, he could get a small add-on pass. The ones that delay the Decay are straight garbage. Assuming they are even successful with it i still doubt anyone is gonna choose over Engraving, just becouse of how they make Billy so oppressive.

They made him fast but billy is one of hardest killers to control so its actualy harder for controling his sprint and longer charge time makes this balanced, still I dont get this billy hate he is very well done killer, strong but fair because he needs skill and experience to get some value and isnt that busted as blight.

Comparing Legion and Ghoul got old the first week Ghoul was released.

Still ghoul is easiest killer to loop from high tiers because he is mostly on loops m1 compare to billy, blight, nurse, dracula, twins, krasue (low a-tier), spirit and larry. He is just buffed wesker with better vault and blights mobility that gets first hit essier but on loops he has just his vault which isnt working great on some loops and using his leaps to cut survivor off from pallet or window like wraith with bodyblock is hard with his autoaim hitbox and requires fast precise use of each leap and is limited on some loops like shack is better for this than some two rocks loop.

Still strong killer and will be nerfed but I hope he wont be gutted in bhvr like fasion like pig was years ago or post first rework freddy or merchant.

  • Sometimes its hit validation, the killer hit you and his character is going for you but you can still move so hit was already decided but you made it behind the corner but he still hit you and for pallets, windows and lover obstacles ghouls hitbox is 2,5 meters long meaning if there is something between you and you are in this range he will hit but if its like over pallet or window its actualy good because he would hit you later annyway and by this there is some blocking object between you two so after his 3 seconds hit animation ends he cant just straight run for you but looses some time getting around that blocking object or must waste his leaps later and this is what experienced players do if he wants to vault with second leap and they are injured but not deep wounded, they will come to the edge of the window/pallet they vaulted and force him to hit and this gives them more time by slowing ghoul but only works with his second/third leap because first one doesnt damage.

It doesn't circumvent his power, it actually nerfs it. When wraith comes out of cloak with that add-on (the serpent-soot), he actually only gets 1/4th the speed-boost and lunge distance than if he just uncloaked by ringing the bell. The only reason that Add-on is useful with Turn Back the Clock is that he doesn't have to kick any pallet or gen first, and thus can use it while cloaked with his superior speed to get the drop on a survivor.

However, it's still only good for 1 basic attack, he only gets as many uses out of it as he gets hooks (so, realistically before survivors stop doing gens and going into hiding against the killer… 6 minimum, 8 on average), It doesn't give him insta down or extra lunge range, honestly, the only thing it does is remove the Bell warning sound. Are you telling us that removing that noise really is giving him all the advantages? If you are, he has an add-on for that too.

As for his "invisibility", IDK if you're new to the game or not, And definitely not trying to "Gatekeep" here, but Players have long since learned how to see him coming, even on dark maps, and in all honesty, he could actually use a buff on it because it's very noticeable for most people. Again, none of your complaints warrant a complete killswitch, much less a nerf/rework of the perk or the killer/their add-on's.

Going back to the GF combo since you brought it up again: Drivers License can be used from 32m away, Damages the Gen for 20%, he can do it as many times as he wants without having to hook a survivor first, AND it Blocks the affected gen for 15 seconds… on top of that, the Stalked survivor(s) are now Exposed for 45 seconds! I'd Argue that GF + Drivers License + Hivemind Is a FAR Worse combo… but still not Killswitch Worthy

How does Wraith popping a gen for 10% from up to 20m away, and uncloaking for a basic attack, with no Bell sound, even Compare to that? What makes that Game Breaking enough to Warrant a Killswitch/Nerf?

Truth, the wraith is bad with this addon (that uncloaks him when he breaks something) and only with this perk of vecna he can get some hits but truth is he limits his use because he has just one space for addon and now his best addons are faster uncloak speed purple one or faster break/vault speed but this one gets downed by this brown one or purple speed one.

This addon combo maybe gives some easy hits but wraith is very addon dependent killer and if survivor heals than this isnt that great as regular meta addons on wraith such as faster movement speed while cloaked purple addon, faster uncloak speed purple addon and fater breaking/vaulting speed purple addon, these addons in some combinations or with same addon but lower rarity (best is probably faster uncloak speed with faster breaking/vaulting speed while cloaked addons, they make wraith more versitile and able to use his cloaked form more agressively and effectively).

If wraith gets free hit he still is m1 killer that cant do much on loops without few purple addons I named above so nothing that problematic plus its just few times per match and this build is almost dead on indoor maps.

Well, in most games with a choice of characters or races, if theres something that stands out as monsterous or bug like, its usualy my first choice. For example in starcraft - the Zerg. Or in Sword of the stars i usualy pick Hiver. Or in masters of Orion theres the klackon. (All spacr bugs lol).

Im also a big fan of H.P Lovecraft and the monsters in the Lovecraftian Mythos like Cthulhu (which we are getting a charm and banner of in the next 2v8). Hopefully it means they might make a Lovecraftian monster chapter someday.

Its a shame we didnt get to see the rest of the voting board to see what kinda monsters and beasts n mutants n stuff we couldve ended up with instead of the angel. But atleast the angel will be the first one with multiple legs which could give them practice on animating an insect like killer for the future.

Some are dead set on a Jaws chapter with a bunch of videos showing how it could work. But i have doubts the game is solid enough yet to add water to entire levels without causing problems.

And there may yet be some kind of dinosaur chapter as there are several licenses to choose from like Dino Crisis, Jurrassic Park, or Turok.

So yea id love to have a monster killer lol, the dredge was interesting at first but the playstyle just wasnt enjoyable for me.

Insect like killer would be nice like some spider or bug like from Starship troopers or like mimic1997 movie, if devs will put good effort in desing like they did with harmless but balance his power more without big flaws than it would be good chapter for me.

  • The thing is there arent any good news there will be something done against them which I find strange.

Guess I will have to play blight who is number 1 killer that can kick cheaters butt but with the instaheal pick up cheats even he is short here and I fear this wont be better, for now the future of this looks like it will require you to have cheats to be able to play it normaly because solid part of player base will be cheaters.

Really wish they'd disable the map boosting. Not sure what the reasoning behind it is. They always boost the worst maps too for whatever reason. 46 maps and we have to only play on 4 of them for a week straight.

I get it if its new map or map somehow connected to newest patch like hawkins now (no new map was introduces with vecna but hawkins is his map so I would get if it would have booster in chance of getting it) or like some winter oriented maps in december like cold lake or ormond but this map boosting that is now doesnt make much of a sence tbh.

It's easy enough to spot an indetectable killer rolling up on you because they are visible. And it's easy enough to spot a wraith because they usually get right on top of you before they uncloak. But that heat haze is not easily visible at a distance on darker maps, which is most of them. And he doesn't need to get right on top of you because he is circumventing the delay to his uncloak. So it's easy to stay unseen. He isn't slowed or delayed in any way when using TBTC, and every single killer has a delay and/or speed decrease while using their power.

Still use of this combo is like what few times per match on pure m1 killer,

This addon alone is probably worst addon on wraith because you downt wanna uncloak when you kick gen or break pallet, you will loose speed to catch up and time so this adoon is dog trash and this perk is only good if wraith gets close and has los on gen.

Wraith isnt that hard to spot in open are if you look around and on indoor this combo is almost dead because of los on gens is super limited and its mostly held back by hooks which m1 killers struggle to get and by needing this addon wraith can only equip other good addon so he isnt that strong because wraith without good addons is very predictiable killer who has little power and only his good thing is mobility and stealth but this agaisnt survivors that constantly pay attention in open areas isnt good either, wraith without strong addons is weak killer like high c-tier and he needs perfect plays so I dont see this as something that problematic as nurse with awakened awerenes + starstruck was.

  • @HoodedWildKard said:

Regardless of setup it circumvents wraith's power limitation. Wraith can instantly uncloak when kicking a gen because he's still stuck in an animation for a few seconds and people get chance to run. When using TBTC he instantly, silently uncloaks and can hit straight away that is not balanced

Its just a wraith he can hit ayou and what he can do next?

Be m1 killer and how many times he can do this? Few per match because what he needs for this isnt very common so I dont think it needs nerfs and tbh if you look around and are you aware you will spot wraith in time and on indoors he cant do it effectively and you will see him in majority of cases before he sees that gen and can spam that abibility 2 buttun.

Wesker's power is mathematically not great at mobility.

Weskers movement speed during the bound is 14 m/s the first one lasts 0.5 seconds, the second one lasts 1 second. That means he travels 21 meters in 1.5 seconds. However, do do that he has to:

Charge up the power for 1.5 seconds, lowering movement speed to 3.68 m/s, then afterwards enter cooldown for 3 seconds where he moves at 2.76 m/s.

This means that for a total of 0.5 + 1.5 + 1.5 + 3 seconds, he moves 34.8 meters. which is 6.5 seconds. If he just walked at 4.6 for 6.5 seconds, he would gain 29.9 meters.

So using his power gains him 4.9 meters of distance. Keep in mind that a full killer lunge from not moving is about 6 meters. So he gains less than a lunge.

So, yes he gains some distance. But not really so much distance that it is worth not having his power for the next 6-12 seconds (takes 6 seconds to gain one charge back). Its better to just run toward the survivor and use your power in the chase.

Nurse is also similar, people sometimes thing she's a mobility killer, but her power is actually quite horrible for map traversal especially when you lose access to your power on a killer that basically requires the power to land a hit.

You can put here numbers even majorite of devs dont have a clue but people will still act oblivious and hate you like always.

I call it many times that his dashes are trash as mobility, so many things with 11 seconds cooldown and huge slowdown to travel just 21 meters if there aren objects and you can dash straight (which is like 50% times maybe on open maps) if you put in AI or count it on paper with speed of 4,6 m/s you will make these 21 meters in 4,57 seconds thats almost 5 seconds and you have both of your dashes to cut survvior off or from another loop but only wise people know that and more oblivious in this matter just hate it.

  • There are even whole 3 man or 4 man teams with one or two cheaters to make killers game worst as it can be but I dont think this will stop, now you need to record the cheater in the act and if you dont have any proof or it isnt killer bot cheater that kills survivor even under first minute of the game and gets countles of reports nothing happens sadly or they play few weeks or months before ban hits if it hits even (I stoped believing this some time ago).

  • @adam1233467 said:

Try to play billy without engravis to see the reason why they only use this addon, its torture.

If billy palyer wants to use more saw to get downs around loops this addon even after his buffs in speed is still needed and pro billies are running it plus spiked boots for better mobility because basekit control of saw after that 1 second of turn rate not being limited is just bad and that addon that lets you continue after you break pallet was nerfed quite a lot (cant down with it just injure survivor or deep wound) so this is best he has and its not broken on killer that is so skill demanding.

  • There is addon for wraith the brown one i think that makes wraith uncloak when he damages the gen and if combined with one of vecnas perks

    Turn Back the Clock

"Resist as they might, time marches on, and your master plan comes closer to fruition."

After hooking a Survivor, for 40/50/60 seconds, press the Active Ability button to make a target generator within 20 meters explode, lose -10 % progress, and start regressing.

if the wraith has clear los on that gen and is cloaked and uses this timed perk he uncloaks from that addon

    "The Serpent" - Soot

    • Breaking Breakable Walls or pallets
by any means, or performing the Damage Generator action on incomplete Generators will cause you to automatically uncloak.

So combination of both of these things (perk+ addon) make wraith able to uncloak without ringing the bell and there are requirement he has to hit to be able to do this.

First is getting hook to activate Turn back the clock perk and second is having line of sight on gen that is not regressing in 20 meters range to than press Active ability button 2 (any key the game has set for, basekit is E but I have camera turn on that so I switch it to G) and the gen will get 10% regression and wraith will uncloak, thats all.

This post is just frustration someone get when he saw it without knowing it, personaly I would be frustrated too because cheaters in these days can do wonders in DBD so its hard to know what is legit and whats not.

Playing DBD in these days is like watching as a kid Fact or fiction and guessing if its fact or fiction.

Youre just agreeing with me. Thing is, good players just dont miss much at all. And hes not that hard to aim.

They miss just look at hens he missed many times that delay is very noticiable and survvior get warning too so there is enough time to get out, all this killer require is same thing as pyramidhead but vecna requires it bit more and thats good prediction of survivors pathing which is very hard thing.

If you miss for long time and you waste clock and you miúst get two hits to start new clock time and than you can damage someone so he is very skill based killer and I would say one of top hardest in the entire game more than blight.

  • @Dinadin said:

So the only counterplay is still hoping for bad aim. Much fun.

Or just be unpredictiable unlike for nurse his close hits that nearly missed will slow him down compare to nurse nearly blinking to you she will most likely hit you so he can be juked quite well and he can spam his power but gets slowed a lot and unless he hits often he will loose on gens because he doesnt have any good power if he is missing.

You really have to play like hes a nurse 2.0

Which idk why anyone can enjoy playing against him.

Vecna (henry) is super overrated like he needs two hit to have even some power (harmless issue) and without activated clocks he is just 110% speed killer whoc can spawn his attacks but get slowed down a lot. He is only almost good as nurse if he can hit all his shots (or atleast every socond one) but in reality this isnt possible from human and his attacks are easy to be avoided unless survivor doesnt think and runs in straight predictiable line.

His mobility isnt that great either, the speed isnt bad but the exit time makes this super unuseable as catch up power like vecna form D&D or wraiths cloak and his hitbox when exiting is easy to avoid by just holding W. His power doesnt work well if someone abuses hooked survivor and loops you around the hook.

In terms of raw power he is little worse or same as pyramidhead but phead can atleast play as m1 while being 5% faster and doesnt need to use his power that much like henry, his potencial is very high but same goes for pyramidhead or uknown if they dont miss and predict well these killers would be super strong but thats not something human nature can do reliably so this is just a dream.

He is easily juked and requires huge skill fro mkiller palyer more than billy or blight to be effective just overated killer.

Oh I am afraid you got me wrong there. I was sarcastic with the first paragraph.

I know well that you need gen regression to fight gen speeds.

The big problem I see in this topic is the following:

How should the game be balanced.

If you say "Yeah the gen speeds must be that fast" so new survivors don´t get thrown under the bus you need to think about the impact.

Yeah the game gets better for new survivors but if survivors stay in the game and become more efficient the game becomes a laughing stock at higher elo.

We sadly can´t balance the game around baby survivors and pro killers.

This is something this community needs to learn. You can´t win all games. Some are just stacked so hard against you that you will lose no matter what.

Thats something people that arent new know that this game has huge rng aspect where when some odds are stacked against you you cant do much or just nothing, so many things matter if we exclude players skill and experience than map, killer (who is killer blight or ghostface), items, addons (both sides), perks, hatch rng spawn so many things that when yre stucked against you its like swiming against river curret you can do it but wont succeed most likely.

Just run moniter and abuse. And/or his add ons that drop terror radius when he uses his ads

Solving killers big issues with perks and addon isnt fix just timed bandaid, he was nerfed and than buffed butm his buffs didnt compansate him for what he lost and it wasnt even that op and now even invisiable walls are more common issue that wasnt a thing like few years ago.

If devs dont want quick scope like it was before than just buff his range or decrease his terror radius, we have even killers like springtrap that can do almost the same and its easier for them and than theres slinger his tr was increased so he wouldnt be problematic meanwhile springtrap can just go basekit oblivious and hit survivors with his axe from range and has mobility so I think slinger needs some minor buffs.
