Guess its different for your region. I haven't seen it leave survivor since they reinstated the bp bonus.
For me, it barely leaves survivor also.

I just want proximity chat from like 6 meters away and mutable. It would create a better cat and mouse gameplay where you can mess with each other. Think about telling a killer, "Oh, oh, oh... Uh OH! Gotta be quicker than that, Wesky! XD Or the Killer chasing you and saying, "Don't do it, Meg! Doooon't!" Downs them after because there is no pallet there and the killer just says, "Ay, I tried to warn you lol". THAT would be fun. You can also warn people that the killer is coming while you're both on a gen instead of just taking off and seeing your teammate get yanked. The only thing is, they would need to monitor the chat reports.
-
Come play DBD and watch Wesker ram Jill with his TENTACLES XD

Does hitting a survivor at the exit with your power prevent them from exiting?
I just had a match where I hit a David as he opened the exit gate and he was unable to escape.
Correct. Its 5 seconds, I think? Might be slightly longer but I think its 5 seconds. Its the same as Pinhead.

it was so punishing for some killers and such a non issue on others
like slinger can shoot and pull them out and hit them, but wraith had to give them a free health state
if this returns the snowmen need to take a health state instead of being a free hit at 0 cost since they respawn
Why would you want to jump into a snowman and move super slow to take a health state of damage either way? That ruins the point of the snowman. It was something to be fun for a short amount of time.

They should have just made it heal you 1 charge every 2.5 seconds or something over time. Would have been much more useful and unique.

I get your point but then again both sides have some really strong stuff going for them and if you nerf one side it's gonna be unfair for the other side. Either nerf every single busted perk/add on/item for both sides or don't touch one side without nerfing the other that's Mt opinion as I think is the most possible way to keep the game balanced
This is just bringing the perk back to its normal state but taking 2 stacks per hit would be too much, though. That's why I said 1 stack no matter if its an M1 or special attack so, technically, its a mini buff since you lose less stacks for hitting your obsession once instead of 2. It will slow down the favorites like Demo who exceed from the perk heavily but at the same time, it'll make it feel much better if you try to avoid the obsession and accidently hit them once. It'll feel much better overall.
-
Just wanted to add something to the list. You can play any way you seem fit but PLEASE just remember as the killer that a person who is getting unhooked is helpless and may be easy prey but they're still people too. If you're getting rocked, tunnel that person out but if 5 gens are up and you already have that person hooked, let the person breath a little. Same with Survivor. If you're looping the killer like a god and its obvious that the killer is a bit new, don't start teabagging and pointing. Don't be that guy. Same as before, the killer is also a person behind the screen. What you do WILL trickle down as the person gets better.
You don't like being face camped for no reason? Don't spread the same toxicity that you don't want in your matches. Otherwise, play as you want, on either side and most importantly, have FUN! Some of the maps will tilt you pretty hard and some killers absolutely get destroyed on maps with multiple windows so don't be too hard on yourself. Same with survivor, some maps don't have a ton of loops but may have a lot of pallets. Don't waste them, but try your best to loop them even a little to extend your chase but again, don't be too hard on yourself. Positivity brings positivity. Remember my old PS4 Quote, "Even in pure Darkness, a small flame can burn brightest! Be the light that you want to see in such a dark world." Don't take the game super serious.

Well how about all of those offensive bodyblocking and endurance stuff survivors use? STBFL is the counter to those I wasn't a huge fan of STBFL but after perk reworks I realized that I need to use it on my m1 killers since some survivors like to bodyblock with their of the record or styptics or dead hards or even mettle of man and remember this perk is for killers that are mouse 1 and mostly weak because their power isn't oppressive in chase and it's actually a reason to play them and not being forced to play only strongest killers at high lvl so this perk doesn't need changing imo since it's serving the right purpose
Taking off 2 stacks will not be a "nerf". It will still have 6 and because of the update, you get 2 stacks technically for free from the overall buffs from the patch itself. Adding those in, you will always have "8 stacks" after you get 6 stacks because of the buff. 10 stacks is ridiculous and this is coming from me playing killer. They get no time to get ANYWHERE at that point now. At most, I've seen.. 6 steps before going down after the hit. That's just not fair. I'm not EITHER side. I will speak for whatever side needs to be looked at at the time. I don't have a favorite side.
-
Same. I opened the gate with Wake Up! and left but did not get any progress towards the achievement even though all the gens were done at that point.

Report them in-game and then open a ticket. BHVR already confirmed they removed id64 requirement from the ticket form, so just attach proofs - all other information they'll have on their side.
I find this much easier than before. Took me a bit and I was also on the bandwagon at first but it streamlines the reporting process for the better.

Why don't you do the objective instead of letting the killer trade hook states, if you do the gens, then the killer at most gets one kill if you let him
Do gens and pressure the killer to leave the hook, don't just run to them and let them kill you over and over for trades
You mean give the killer a 2k. Not enough time to finish all the gens now.

Why do these people get mad when you tunnel/camp them out of the game? They are literally asking for it with these kind of taunts (especially if you know they're a 4 stack).
Too much pride and not enough skill.

Anyone else having some really weird hook spawns on indoor maps ? had 4 in a row on smaller maps where I downed someone and couldn’t find a hook on that entire side of map/the floor im on, or worse it would be in a corner of a room with 12 tight ass corners that don’t actually lead to the hook .
Had to drop my first downed surv multiple times and knew the match was theirs (I’m hag and pretty new). Also lag is kicking in heavy today .
Its mainly due to double layers. Hook spawns are created based upon the size of the map. Due to that, double layer maps are harder to generate hooks correctly for since there has to be a close amount on both layers. The issue is, if you use a hook up above and its gone, you might be screwed later on. The larger the map, the more hooks. The smaller the map, the less hooks generated.

I hate to be blunt, but most of the time people get caught by bamboozle its because they overcommit and blindly run around corners right into the killer's vaulting animation. In that scenario you have basically trapped yourself, but some people refuse to accept their own blame for that happening.
Most learn from mistakes like that, others don't. They'll just continue to get caught until they adapt.
Correct. Its more to push people away or force a pallet drop near a jungle gym. If there are 2 windows in a building, you're still screwed either way but at least you can legit shorten the run through the building after the second loop. Otherwise, you'd be looping 6 times (both windows 3 times each) and by the time the second blocks, the first window will be back open without it. Its a must for most normal speed killers who don't use traps or loop stompers. Its a godsend on Myers and Clown. You would rarely see someone like Blight or Huntress use it because they have range to attempt at stopping the loop. Ghostface also loves that perk to quickly finish off that 1-shot that you stalked.

true, the perk helps force pallets, but thats boring if I have to drop the pallets left and right because i cant do much else
I have never seen anyone complain about Bamboozle before. Its only good for jungle gyms. You still vault slower than a survivor. Just run away if you hear the weird crunching noise. Its there to shorten super long loops that would take ages to force a pallet drop on. Its more of a band-aid fix but a necessary one.
-
Bamboozle is a favorite perk of mine. I use it on quite a few killers. Helps with jungle gyms, windows and forces early pallet drops, giving you more pressure later.

I don’t see a downside to having an auto-buy option. On the other hand it’s not THAT big a deal, after how often do you spend hundreds of thousands or millions of bloodwebs at once? Once every three or four months when a new character comes out? It’s not a frequent thing.
Every 13th. 2 Million off the rip.

Not sure it can come close to what I experienced. Yeah, it's horrible, but trust me, shack+3 ultra safe loops+2 T&Ls + 2 Macmillan structures, all chainable to main building, chainable to a few other T&Ls and Macmillan structures, is straight up infinite. My man only dropped pallets twice the whole game and I still couldn't catch him.
3 of the buildings have 2-3 window vaults. They are almost infinites and they NEVER get blocked. Good luck catching 1 survivor in the building without traps or vaulting perks. It's just about impossible. Pallets can be forced and broken. Windows never go away.
-
Destroying pallets will ALWAYS be better than vaulting them in almost any scenario so I would say yes. Reverse the add-ons.
-
Try Haddonfield without Bamboozle while using a killer with no traps or slowdown.

As a Mikey main I don't think he needs a full rework. His power as a concept is fine and fits him thematically with his character from the movies. I don't want them to strip Mikey of feeling like himself like they did with Freddy.
Here are my ideas for some quality of life changes that would put him in a more comfortable spot while still feeling like the boogeyman;
- Let him start with his tier 1 at 99%. That way he can begin the match oblivious and get a potential grab on some unsuspecting survivor, or he can tap himself into tier 2 as soon as he sees a survivor if he likes.
- Have stalk regenerate on survivors if he has not stalked them for X amount of time.
- Remove the distance/stalk rate feature. In the movies Michael was always stalking his victims from afar not up close, so it doesn't make sense his stalk rate is slower the further away he is. Its not that way for Ghostface so it shouldn't be for Mikey either.
- When in tier 3 he should break pallets faster too. He already has the massive lunge and fast vault speed in tier 3. Make him a complete monster and have him shred pallets faster too. This is supposed to be Mikey at his most powerful so show it. In the movies he puts his fist through doors and stuff like they're paper.
I would also give him some type of ability to get to gens a bit faster. Not a teleport per say. Like he goes behind an object and disappears, then reappears near an object like in the movies. That way he can get pressure too but put that on a timer. Put yours and mine together and he'd be terrifying. A walking terror.

On any loop where the walls aren't clean straight like jungle gyms, just running close to the wall makes ridiculously hard for Wesker to hit you.
If you dash away from the wall, you will miss the survivor because the hitbox is too small.
If you dash near the wall, you will get stuck on some point and fail to reach the survivor.
And since there are technically TWO new maps with increased chance, you will be forced to play RPD after RPD after RPD, where the loops are perfect for getting stuck at.
What a great chapter release.
OR just move left or right by 1 and half steps. Easy and skillful dodge.

It is intended that you cannot check their profile, however you can still file an in-game report as normal.
When sending additional evidence to Support, you do not need to put the players Steam64ID/Name any longer (as this information is not possible to obtain with the Anonymous Mode), however our Support team are able to tie up the reports from the reports that you have made in-game. So reporting players is still very much possible.

Good point. That's kinda, I don't know if "unfair" would be the word I'm looking for, but.
Its just Legion, though. As long as everyone is separated, the damage is minimum whether he is M1'ing or not. I think it would affect people more if they're hurt since that could mean the difference between throwing a pallet early or trying to loop and take a Frenzy hit.

i mean if your being tunneled, your in the chase with the killer. I'm not sure how your healing in a chase vs this perk unless your using the pink med-kit add-on that works automatically. Like I said, you don't really go against that perk very often so its difficult to adjust to it. If you went against the perk every game like old ruin, you would adjust to speed of skill-check's.
The skill-check is still like 10x bigger then old ruin checks, so I'm sure you can hit normal checks 100% of the time with practice. Just that nobody gets to practice vs it because its sort of situational perk.
I have videos of old Ruin. It didn't spin around at neck-break speeds. Its not the SKILL CHECK, its the SPEED of the skill check. When people use it, they use it with Unnerving Presence. When its tiny and spins like it just took a line of cocaine, you're about to miss one and its possible to lose a tunneling killer and the sooner you're healed, the better. When it uses that, good luck. I don't care if it gets changed. I'm done playing survivor. They always get cucked every update but if I see something that doesn't seem fair, I'm gonna call it out. Just like I did with Wesker with all his bugs that he brought. No one wants to deal with that. Its UNFUN.

use bite the bullet
So now I have to run Self-Care, Botany AND Bite The Bullet for 1 perk? That doesn't seem fair. I'm not saying nerf the healing speed. The skill check speed is just too high. You get regression from a missed skill check, you get super slow heals AND you get a notification when they miss that skill check from 1 perk just because of the speed alone.

on normal maps, you get run out of coulrophobia radius. If its the game map or elementary school, your suppose beat the build without healing. I mean if you have a med-kit, you can still heal, but its going take awhile and you'll need adjust to the skill-checks because they're old ruin level difficult. if people ran the perk more, you'd eventually get used to it and be able to land normals consistently. don't expect to hit greats with such speed on checks.
https://youtu.be/fgRFCkgEXDU?t=478
I mean otz healed just fine with green med-kit. the self-care healing might take a long while though so I do not recommend.
Otz wasn't being tunneled straight out of the match either.
-

Just hit the skillchecks
I'll do that when the person who is getting tunneled out on 5 gens gets a breather and we have to hope and pray that a 4'oclock skill check does not give our location away before the person gets tunneled the rest of the way out of the match for a fun 3 vs 1 since at that speed, good luck indeed.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/344181/nerf-coulrophobia-perk-to-25-speed
you sound like Almo when he went against hex:lullaby doctor on Gideon meat packing plant. I mean sloppy butcher+Coulrophobia is 70% action speed healing decrease. you really shouldn't be healing vs that to begin with. The heal will take little less then self-care.
The skill-checks are possible, but they're a lot more challenging. did you play Doctor impossible skill-check heal build or something? that is what skill-checks would look in dbd if they were meant to be challenging.
Its not skill checks. Its the SPEED of skill checks that are tiny and move faster than you can actually push the button and lets the killer hear an explosion also. I use to use it on Trapper for the Impossible Skill Check with old Overcharge but this speed and the amount of skill checks you get is just too much for 1 perk. Also, yes, I have. It really sucked. People are legit sucking the FUN out of the game.
-
@SpaghettiVase said:

They already nerfed Self-Care and Botany takes away charges from medkits. What else do you want? You want no one to be able to heal, period? Have you even tried survivor against it? If you had, you would know that its way too fast.

Was trying to practice on a Carlos who was running around some tires, it wouldn't let me Bound at all.
He's just bugged to #########, Man. Its super aggravating. This was the one that I was super hyped for besides Nemesis. Big RE fan and I feel like I'm just getting stomped all over while trying to play as him. I don't tunnel and I rarely camp but sometimes it feels like that's my only option as him. The amount of times where I've slid past a survivor who has taken 1 step left or right is enough to make my burst a blood vessel. Why play him when you can play Blight? Blight does everything better and he can turn while bouncing and it doesn't have to be pixel-perfect. Its just bad all around. The worst part are people saying he's fine. Like get out of here. You know damn well he's worthless right now. It just makes me want to hop off the forums again for awhile like I did a few times already. Its just absurdity.

Chaser doesn't work with his power. He doesn't whip survivors who slow vault a pallet halfway or go halfway through a window. You go through survivors. You can bounce OFF of survivors if you clip them. You drop them from any minor bump on the ground. Sometimes his throws will slide a character off of an object instead of impacting it. Sometimes he'll just drop a survivor for no reason. Sometimes he cannot use his second dash for no real reason. He's aggravating as ######### because of this.

That doesn't have anything to do with his hitbox size though, I hope you realise that. His dash just seems a bit buggy still, and I doubt anyone is defending that. You literally phased right through that survivor.
I have bumped into a ton of survivors and slid past them too. It's the hit detection for survivors is too small.
