FOV sliders
Old Billy animations
Simplified bloodweb items (including removing the ######### stupid perk tiers that shouldn't be in the game anymore. It's inexcusable.)
Deathslinger and Hag to be removed from the game

I really hope you sort out your drinking problem soon...

Crouch so Victor can't detect you
Would be good advice if you could feasibly tell what his KI detection range is, or where he was, or when you should start crouching...because all it takes is 1 foot into that range and Charlotte hears a very obvious heartbeat. All she has to do then is press a button to switch back to Victor in less than a second and find and hit the survivor.

Why's everyone so heated about this? It's just a game, it doesn't impact you in real life.
If someone manages to kobe in front of me I don't rage on the forums. I think "get over here and let me heal you ya goober."
It's not toxic, but it is stupid on the hooked persons side to risk going into the struggle phase.
It's because they had to hold shift and W towards the guy on hook, so they think they're entitled to the unhook points and the wglf stack, and get pissy if they don't get it because the person wiggled of hook by themselves.
Was it a dumb move by the hooked survivor that could've heavily affected their survival? Yes. But is it worth crying on the forums over and condemning people who want to play with a little risk? Absolutely not, it's so childish.
-
It's not really the effect of DS that's good, it's the chance of DS being in the game, on any survivor, that makes it effective against good killers. And...the opposite applies to less-good killers because they don't take that into account and will pick you up anyway so basically it is a requirement, you may as well only have 3 perk slots as a solo queue survivor because of DS, just like you only have 3 perk slots as killer because of BBQ. It's almost like if we made these abilities, that are both related to hooks, a default mechanic or something...
-
Rank 4 to rank 13? I...don't believe you. I believe there's 5 pips per rank? You would've had to have depipped in nearly 40 games over the last 4 days with The Twins, and it's quite hard to depip in green and purple ranks unless you're literally going AFK or you DC.
But hey at least you're enjoying the killer now I guess.
-
Well if you're going after the same guy after they get unhooked it IS tunnelling, but they gave you a very easy opportunity to tunnel the guy off hook if that's how you like to play. Personally I'd go for the guy who got unhooked, I'd rather spread hooks out so I can get people quickly sacrificed near the end 1 after another, I also get more BPs this way. But if you'd rather hook the guy twice it's your choice to play like that, just watch out for DS (even though Nurse couldn't give less of a damn about DS)
-
Kinda strong. Very easy to play. Good at finding survivors so a decent killer for players starting out. Anti-loop is nothing special without add-ons but with add-ons it's incredibly stupid.
Doctor's a very B-Tier killer. His rework definitely made him better and easier to play, but I lost the urge to play him much after the rework because of that reason.

it literally gets rid of loop spots after use once by a survivor and then its more dangerous to go back to
Most were loop spots that didn't exist before, so now you're forced to deal with it as a killer to make the building go back to the way it was when it didn't have the breakable wall there before. And in cases like groaning Storehouse, they took away the pallets in favour of the wall so the change just pisses off both sides because survivors don't have anything to work with once the wall's broken.
-
The autohaven hitboxes are definitely worse, and Huntress' hatchets are currently bugged. It's like she throws them slightly lower now, or they're being thrown from a lower point on her body than from where she actually releases the hatchet. It's weird, but it should be fixed soon (by that I obviously mean in either a month and a half or 3 months from now). I've always thought they should rework huntress' animations anyway, her throwing animation has always looked quite bad.
-
Maybe the mods thought it was feedback so they put it in that section? Try looking through your post history and see if it's in there. If a mod moves a thread it'll say "closed" with 0 replies next to it if you haven't opened the thread. It's even more misleading in mobile because you can't see the names of people who made the thread either.
If it was in fact deleted then..I dunno I got nothing lmao that's a pretty harmless post.
Edit: just looked through feedback and found your post in there so yeah they did think it was feedback and moved it:

Ok so this may just be conscience but with the graphical updates I've noticed there are way less nooks and crannies to throw hatchets or shoot though new autohaven maps can't shoot or throw though the border windows on shack you can and another streamer/ youtuber also noticed -coconuts rts - yt made clips on these changes conscidence?
-
No more reworks for the love of God. I don't want ######### breakable walls in any more maps I'm so sick of this atrocious mechanic. I'd rather Haddonfield and asylum stay the way they are now than get a graphical update along with 50 breakable walls.
-
A lot of Leatherface players are very new to the game, because they heard they should buy him to unlock BBQ, and they obviously don't have it unlocked as a teachable yet so they're using Bubba for a while to get their bonus BPs. So therefore a lot of bubba players aren't comfortable using his chainsaw at all. They'll rev up, start sawing, and once survivors start to take corners tightly or spin around they panic and smash into a wall and suffer a huge cooldown while the survivor shoots off into the sunset never to be seen again. His power isn't very noob friendly and it takes time and good knowledge of killer and all the maps and tiles before you learn how to use his chainsaw to bait and zone survivors.

Thats what I always do. Still doesnt help in any 1v1 situation
It's another Deathslinger, Spirit, Hag etc situation again. There's almost nothing you can do in a 1v1 to help except pray that the Victor messes up, and the way you beat them is in a 1v4 and pushing gens before they get the opportunity to facecamp someone on a hook whilst also slugging people from across the map. Very fun and engaging but hey it's nothing we haven't seen before so we're gonna have to get used to it.
-
Best killer they've ever made. Ridiculously fun, an actual skill ceiling and has equal counterplay on both sides which makes chases very interesting with him on both sides which makes it even weirder when we look at The Twins who've just released and how much they contrast in terms of fun design. I put him solidly at joint 3rd best in the game next to Oni and Deathslinger. I don't think he needs any more changes once the camera fix goes through, the rest of his issues are to do with the game itself, not Blight.

legions are are so much better then demos demo has 1 good addon which is a brown addon
Rat liver, rat tail are his two best add-ons. His recovery add-ons are always nice to have so eleven's soda and unknown egg are great if you're having to teleport a bunch. Leprose lichen is a great add-on, it's not super impactful but it's a nice addition to Demo's base abilities. It's always nice to have more portals, mew's guts and the rotten pumpkin are great for that. And a lot of his add-ons are 2 add-ons of a lower rarity combined together.
See the trend? Demo absolutely doesn't need add-ons to be good, and all of his add-ons with the exception of red moss are good additions to his power with the exception of rat liver which is a significant buff. Oni's add-ons are the same. He doesn't need add-ons either, all the add-ons do for him is buff his already great power in small ways, which is what every killer power should be like tbh.

But you can save A LOT of time if you down a survivor in strong loop. Imagine a situation when you're chasing one of them that is really good in the shack. You probably waste a lot of time to catch this smart creature but even if you have 1 token of this perk, you can use this extra distance and down him immediatly instead of running around it/trying to mindgame or just leave him. The good realization of this perk can save you 10-60 seconds to you and this is can be a HUGE..
I recommend to you to play with him and keep in mind that you need to not use lunge when you can hit the survs without it (lunge).
I played 4 games with it and I feel that this perk is helping to me. Like I said before, it's my opinion.
you have to tap M1 to save stacks, so you're wasting several extra seconds for each hit just to preserve stacks because you can't lunge. That time alone will add up to be much more than the time saved.
And what about the situations where you have to lunge at someone to hit them, and you also know that you didn't need coup de grace to get the hit? You just wasted a stack and you literally only get 5 per match.
And then if you get hit by a pallet after lunging at them that's another stack wasted. So it's only gonna be used at windows.
Nah I think this perk is trash man I'm sorry. There's no way I'd change any of my current perks on any of my killers for it, it's definitely one of the worst killer perks in the game
-
Revert changes made to discipline, make it no longer decrease the shock therapy delay.
Revert changes made to his range add-ons and make them take longer to charge up.
That's it tbh. These two add-ons are so dumb together. Tbh I'd also want to change him back to the way he was with the mode switching. I liked it a lot more. You had to actually think about when to shock people because it wasn't instant and it was a lot less spammy, and much more satisfying when you did it right. Now Doctor is ridiculously simple and easy, I don't have fun playing him anymore.
-
Power struggle is not gonna be seen a lot. SWF groups might use it because that's the only way you're gonna get any use out of it because it's too situational. Not to mention you have to run flip flop to actually get any use out of the perk.
Even when it's fixed it's not gonna be meta. Remember what everyone said about For The People and buffed blood pact and how wrong they were?
-
Miserable. Still have no idea how Deathslinger was released in the state he's in. But then again, pyramid head also came out in his current state, and we just got the Twins so...yeah actually I'm not surprised at all.

The funny part in that is one of the reason demo is not play that much is because he make too much noise and his addon are garbage specially when your best 1 is a brown addon you have a problem
I main Demo and yeah I think he's a little loud. I don't think he needs the stun and shred sounds to be map-wide, at the very least they should be at like a 32-40m range or something like Wraith's cloak sounds.
And actually imo his top 2 add-ons are brown. Rat tail and rat liver are better than any other add-on he has lmao.
-
The thing I'm not a fan of is that they theorised 2 extremes and shot them down, and then came to the conclusion that it would be a bad idea. Like the whole thing about "tap or not-tap" is so weird. You have a test build for a reason lol, try both versions out and then look for some numbers in the middle. You can actually test this ######### in a test build, you don't need to theory craft every possible outcome. Thought you guys liked gathering data?
-
So they're focusing on info that the killer gives out like demo's ridiculous amount of map-wide sounds, and not any kind of info that solo survivors would actually like to know e.g: having kindred as basekit or easily keeping track of what hook state each survivor is on, or the amount of totems left in the map...cool I guess, that's not needlessly complicated and vague or anything.

1) it does not protect totems in the same way as thrill does. and where did sacrificing tinkerer come form I didn't even mention it??? I'm confused
2) I didn't even want it to LIGHT UP or for it to stay lit up the whole time. I was giving you a version of what you are ASKING for from the killer side. so you want undying to not give an aura thus not have to use distortion, det. hunch, a pink map etc I say we make Object not show any indication what so ever to the survivor.
learn to adapt, stop complaining and move on.
I mentioned tinkerer because that's what everyone and their mother runs with ruin and undying and BBQ. You'd be sacrificing a perk slot to keep your totems safe (if, theoretically, undying didn't already help you with that...), so you'd probably get rid of tinkerer in your build.
-
I can still chill and have fun as killer, but survivor is way too buggy and horrific to play right now. I don't even wanna play it with friends right now, and that's basically the only way I play survivor in the first place. But killer queues are instant, I rarely see anyone that I would call "sweaty". Almost all 4-stack SWFs are playing to goof around and do fun plays because they're bored of playing normally. But they really need to polish up survivor, some of the hits you take look so BS from the survivor's POV it's insane. Not a very fun experience if I'm being honest.

wow... you want everything to counter all killer stuff too... GREAT let's get the killer's everything to counter all the survivor stuff.... keep the playing field even. I gave you a solution that someone else ALSO gave you. but no you can't accept that there are counters to what you're asking about great way to be! the other person also gave pointers as well yet you didn't reply to them about distortion. Just learn the game, learn the add ons and go from there...
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1793551#Comment_1793551
oh yes... thrill will defend the totems perfectly.... oh yea that's great let's remove aura reading from undying..... how about removing survivor aura reading from object of obsession? lets make it EASIER for the killer to know where you are but you won't know it. enjoy your games then!
Um yeah it will defend totems, it takes longer to break and you get a notification from it. So taking Thrill will help keep your totems alive but you'd sacrifice tinkerer. You'd have a weaker combo but it would still be good.
And object lighting up when you're looking in the killer's direction instead of giving you the aura is actually a good idea for a nerf to the perk.
Hey you're really good at suggesting changes! You're right, I would enjoy my survivor AND killer games more with these ideas!
-
I want Billy's old animations back. Both killer and survivor POVs, his new ones look like garbage (except the chainsaw sprinting animation from the survivor's POV. But the revving anim needs to go, it's hideous) and, from what I've heard (or rather, not heard from the Devs), it wasn't even an intentional change and they pepega'd these animations into Billy nearly a year ago now.
(I'm never gonna let it go btw, the new anims will forever be worse in every single way and them changing it out of nowhere one day made literally 0 sense)
-
Or remove the aura reading entirely because it's entirely unnecessary? That's the only need it needs, the aura reading on top of the already super strong effect is stupid. If you want to defend your totems run Thrill.

@Chordyceps said:
The Twins are definitely one of the most interesting killers that the devs have released in a while. Victor is really easy to deal with if he whiffs even one lunge, it takes all of 1 seconds to kick him in the jaw and take him out. And if you know he's idle nearby, just take your finger off of shift for a few seconds. Just admit you're salty you lost a couple matches and don't just throw out statements with no thought behind them.
Sure he's easy to deal with if he whiffs (...obviously?), But when his lunge hitbox is the size of several continents, you're not gonna see anyone whiff once they play him for a while. There's also no mindgaming to it either, you can't mindgame a 150% speed killer with no red stain and a near-instant lunge attack that can also jump over half the things in the game.
-
If you're already running kindred then it's up to the killer if you die on 1st hook or not. There's really nothing else to it, the survivors will know when and if they can actually save you so you just have to pray that a survivor on your team grows a pair and comes to actually try and trade for you.
-
Killer is definitely the easier and less annoying and boring role right now. Not to mention the queue times are instant. Most hits on the survivor end look sooooo bad right now it's unreal. And on the killer's end it's perfectly fine. It really doesn't feel great to play at all, it just feels like you're getting robbed at every opportunity and I really hate it.
-
....meeeeh. I still have fun, my bois Blight and Demo are still fun and overall not hurt too much from the bugs, but man the amount of horrendous bugs in other areas and bad map design makes me not wanna play anymore. I'm getting sick to death of this happening again and again, the cycle of new content with 100 different bugs (quite literally 100 this time round) is getting so tiring. I don't want to be sick of it, I want this game to be great and I want to give the Devs the benefit of the doubt, but that's nearly impossible to do now.
The only thing that can save this game is a hard reboot, their code is way too spaghetti to work on, and it only gets worse the more they add.
-
@cannonballB said:
I missed it - what's the update?
We have no idea. Devs said he's gonna get changes, along with clown and Wraith. And Huntress and Demo are getting some tweaks too. Again, they've said very little about all of this so who knows what they mean.
...but, that being said, if you're a Freddy fan I wouldn't have high expectations because it will probably not be a good change overall lmao. He's likely gonna get nerfed in a lot of areas, but hopefully buffed in others to give him some defined strengths and weaknesses, because right now he doesn't have any imo which is the biggest thing that contributes to his snooze-factor on both sides.
-
I'm actually quite hopeful for Freddy changes. They might actually make him fun my limiting him...sounds weird, but that's the reason why everyone dislikes him, and why a lot of people say he's boring to play as: he has no weaknesses or any kind of drawback to his abilities. He can just do them without thought. Hopefully they give him some actual good and well-defined strengths and weaknesses with the upcoming changes.
-
Yeah I'm not a fan of the Twins' playstyle at all. Haven't played against them yet, but I can already tell it's going to be a miserable time.
Such a shame too, they got it so right with Blight, and then one chapter later they got it so "wrong".
-
Hag forces you into a very specific campy playstyle. If you don't play in that way you lose, it's as simple as that. The Twins are the same once people start to learn more about them. I suspect a lot of Hag players will enjoy the Twins' playstyle.

AGAIN Im dying laughing traps that set themselves, so you can pressure gens and survivors arent good.....
traps that a healthy survivor disarms gets injured by disarming them.... Arent his good ones you say.....
Traps that reset, at random, and only once every 30 seconds, so you could have completely traps reset themselves across the map in places you're never going to go to.
And the add-on that injures survivors is pointless if they're across the map because they can heal themselves before you even make it to them. Not to mention good survivors don't care about being injured against Trapper, he is not a threat at all in a chase.
You're also sacrificing one add-on slot for something that's much better than those red add-ons like honing stone, or the trap-setting add-ons.
-
This was a bug before on the new Macmillan maps. Guess they forgot to test it on new autohaven once again.
How do you make the same absurdly easy-to-avoid and obvious mistake twice in a row...this is comedy gold.

Something doesn't add up here chief. If there's 4 people each bringing a flashlight into your game they're definitely not sweating lmao. They won't be doing gens because they'll be going for flashlight saves all the time and throwing the match just to flashlight.
-
I'm not buying and playing a killer that's so unbelievably broken and still unfinished. And I'm glad other people have come to their senses and aren't putting up with it either.
I also really dislike them. Even without the fixes they look horrendously boring to play. Everything is so slow on them. Transitioning to Charlotte, recovering after a hit, getting a pounce on someone and then going back to Charlotte, taking literally nearly a minute to be able to use my power again? Nah I'm sticking with killers that are actually fun.
If they make a patch that lets you recall Victor at will, and reduces the time it takes to control Charlotte I'll give them a try but not right now. They're really dull.
-
Haven't played against the twins yet but yeah I can tell this killer's gonna be a bit of a pain to play against. Any killer that's good at camping is really annoying and that's almost a requirement to do with The Twins. Plus there's no chase music when getting chased by Victor, it looks so awkward being chased in silence.
-
The 1st suggestion sounds ok, but that would make Scratched mirror broken. You'd have to change or remove that add-on if you wanna do that.
Not a fan of the 2nd suggestion. The stalk limit is kind of a part of Myers, and it's something you need to kinda keep track of in the match and to know who to stalk up and who to leave etc. It's part of his actual character too, if you think about it.
I do think his Tier 3 should be slightly buffed though. +15% pallet break speed and 25% reduced pallet stun time while in tier 3 would be nice. He needs something to be more aggressive and scary in tier 3 imo, the extra vault speed isn't enough. His tier 2 is fine, it has its strengths and weaknesses, but his tier 3 is quite underwhelming compared to something like Oni's demon mode. He's a simple killer so I think he should get simple buffs that compliment him.
-
She moved directly to the window and got as good an angle as she could on you, but yeah even then that hitbox is absurd. Huntress has been an absolute nightmare for months now. Seems like she got even worse in this update.
I have a whole folder of screenshots and videos of completely BS Huntress hitboxes lmao, seems like I'm gonna be adding to it some more this chapter.
-
The Twins are almost unplayable right now, and are also unfinished. That's why you're not seeing them. Idk how BHVR expect anyone to play a horribly buggy and unfinished killer like this, because it's ######### embarrassing.

Even so, players shouldn't have to rely on third party programs to be able to learn a new Killer. Have you considered this thought? Maybe the playerbase should stop being ######### dickheads.
If you want to learn literally any game to any kind of level like the OP seemingly does, you need 3rd party programs or things that aren't the game itself to do it. You wanna learn how to do something? Go out and find the help you need, or suck it up and learn it the hard way. That's how it's been since forever.
