I remember i saw others play final fantasy 7 and stuff ehike groeing up and i couldn't stand turn based games except for pokemon. It wasn't until i found a game called Disciples 2 for like 5$ in some bargain bin for pc games, then i started to enjoy turn based stuff too like heroes of might n magic etc. The only final fantasy i got into was the MMO i think it was 14?
funny, I avoided FF growing up because I liked turn based; I thought the turn based that FF offered was blasphemy. It wasn't until I got the games on Xbox during covid that I realized I was being silly(9 my beloved)

just keeping my head above water really I was hoping to go to Montreal for the anniversary but my mom got sick. I've been focusing on learning the killers in Rivals but I'm currently here and excited for silent hill f. Jason's been kinda lame imo but his perks have been fun to toy with

That's cool and all but some killers have really loud chase music and it makes it impossible to hear. I play with headphones and I can't hear them. What about people who play this game who are deaf? Screw them, right. They shouldn't be allowed to play /s. What about people who don't play with headphones? So the counter is buying physical hardware.

this is simply untrue; hatch is an in game mechanic to encourage ending the match that isn't just straight up pulling the plug.
Without the hatch mechanic, why would I not just reset crows until the server closes? because doing gens at 1 survivor left is 99% impossible. It's how you get the survivor moving to give the killer a chance. The hatch gives hope.
it's killers that get mentally worked up over the hatch. it's merely a formality to close out a game whose conclusion has already been determined.

I still do. You can be the change you want to see in this world.
Killers always slugged for the 4k, but the mori changes just made them take the mask off and just be blatant about it. If killers want to take a finished 10 minute game and double that by holding somebody else hostage, I can waste their time too. They tend to not like me wanting to survive but feel entitled that I should just walk up to them so they can just slug me too and watch me bleed out. It's gross.

I dont understand why killers would slug during the event. It’s the worse decision a killer could have in the event mode. I would drool at the thought to erase any pressure they had by doing tables.

I really hate when people try to push this, because there is a lot of perks that make killer stronger on hook too, if that's not enough then slugging is too powerful period IMO, not the other way around, as someone who runs Furitive Chase/Friends til the end/turnback the clock atm, I feel giving benefits to hooking a survivor would go a long way.
We need 2v8 anti slug tested in 1v4, that inflicts a CD or exhausted to stop and I will make sure I state this EXTREME cases of slugging.
I do not like that it keeps going under the radar time and time again, because it really affects the enjoyment of the more casual playerbase and it scares so many players away… I know firsthand trying to introduce new friends and having to explain it's just how things are.
The anti-tunnel/slug was far from what we needed but the fresh hook incentives/hiding the unhooked survs status and then just take 2v8's anti slug to test instead would have been more than fine. The proposed one we got was so bad and overtuned.this is the only game I know where you're just expected to pull out your phone and browse the internet because your opponent is entitled to an ego boost.

Yea im just holding onto hope that bhvr will care enough to change the cakes back with enough voices. But if anyone knows how pointless it is to ask for something on this forum it is I, the one whos comments they delete everytime i ask for Shanoa again for the past couple years lol.
I've also never been much into using meta builds either. Like i often play The First and try to bring only barbeque for aura rather than a full aura build. I can't even remember the year it was that i last used something like Noed to get an expose hit challenge done. Ghoul's meta seems to involve Friends till the end and obsession builds (from all the kanekis ive played against). Which i havent used on them yet. Its just been more about how common he was that people were kinda sick of seeing ghouls every 2nd round.
I try to only play Ghoul when I crash out, but Korean Ghoul on the Tricksters map showcase was a good time.

I'm not gonna lie i played my last killer match in this event in badham and survivors had portals + invisibility. They just kept line of sighting me and disappeared. Refilled their items and kept healing. I'm not proud…i dced…and i havent gone back to killer ever since. Got my tasks done so im good.
ngl, I never quit but I did so once with the invisibility. even playing vecna 1 for the orb I was still losing people.
the invisibility reminds me I despise chase music.

I don't know where you people are playing from but my queue times from 2020-2022 as survivor were up to 10 minutes once the sun set on NA East.
dbd has improved dramatically the past few years.

It always interesting when you say 99% when big chunk of players are casuals who most likely don't know anything about this or don't care. There is always vocal people that yell the loudest but claiming to be 99% of player base is little bit extensive too as its most definetely not true.

only thing I'm not really sold on is Sloppy; if you're in a position to be basic attacking survivors, you're already in a decent spot with him imo.
if it was the old Sloppy I'd be like heck yeah brother but the timer really messed with it now. I'm only offering my experience but if I used that build, I'd feel I have nothing against a team that knows how to counter me except Deadlock delaying the inevitable. If you get pre ran and everyone is live streaming your location, you're not getting hooks or even M1s.
I think Pinhead should have just 1 info perk to help offload the mental burden of triangulating the box.(I like Deerstalker)
the inhaling wire should be your standard go to, with the iri Box right behind it. Those and the longer solve time are the best. These last couple months I've been branching out and testing the range addons they can honestly be nice for hex builds

personally im trying to learn all i can to help newer players in the future!
if you love to learn you'll go far around here! I love making builds more than playing the game so reading every perk+ addon i ran into kept me busy and engaged for a very long time.

ah ok, we got some new blood! if you have 500 hours that actually makes sense, sadly.
not everyone likes the notion that if you have less than 1,000 hours you're a beginner but the sad fact is even at 1,000 hours you could still have killers you haven't seen(usually Pinhead, Twins, Artist, Hag)
you're on switch, right? they can't play with other platforms can they? I play Xbox on NA East trying to keep the dream alive

tbh if someone's willing to crash over their teammates' perks, that's not someone i want in my games, because theyre the type of person who're gonna dc over the slightest inconveniences anyway. and with as much love to the dbd bots as i can possibly muster, id rather not play a match at all than play one doomed from the start because we have a bot at 5.

you've.…never seen Pinhead!? That's a huge shame, honestly. just remember... the Box must be about 16m away from each survivor and at least 40m away from me. I always recommend new Cenobites to use Lethal Pursuer as training wheels just to visualize it but on the survivor end you usually spawn with all other 3 survivors visible so it's just a matter of guessing where I am.(Orelas exhaustion perk can do this)

my first, and true, main are the Legion their downs come from pure m1 skill and their Frenzy gives foolproof info that made me conscious of survivor locations and habits that it just naturally translated into becoming a Cenobite enjoyer. Pinhead needs to know where everybody is the instant the box spawns, and he needs to secure downs fast or lose all the pressure he spent the game building up(and may never get back once lost) so that just appealed to me I guess.
The Box is like a hex that survivors must cleanse...but I have to "cleanse" too? No other killer values the same thing that survivors do like that. When I play survivor, the poor Pinheads I run into aren't prepared to meet a fellow seeker of pleasure. The Box gives no special treatment to Pinhead and thats, like, super cool, man.

If Ghoul was added to 2v8 what do you think they could change about him there
this is only my 2 cents, but I think G***l can come to 2v8 as is, but we'd probably have to do something specific about his latch mechanic because otherwise he'd just power creep Deathslinger as a superior support killer. Maybe give the survivor complete damage immunity upon eating a healthy survivor.
I like to think that Kanekis self stun would make him a bit more tolerable vs 8 survivors than vs 4. I'm on record for saying that Legion wasn't a big deal in 2v8, however I think Legion>Ghoul in 2v8 which is the only reason I ask for him even though I know people think I'm just trolling. I think he could be the compromise for a "support" killer that people would like to play but don't want to play Deathslinger

my magic 8 ball is optimistic. I coped so hard and prayed to the Entity for Attack on Titan to return I'm confident the fog will bless us one day.
I'm sure by 2030...in the mean time I'm sending well wishes to the new game and hope with time passing the Hellraiser won't be exclusive to the game and we'll come back with Mikey too.

rework anybody you want, I just pray well never rework Cenobite even though he's useless against good survivors. Hes like Freddy 1.0 where his gameplay is really faithful and I'd hate to see that destroyed.
Do I wish I had a real power? sure. but I don't want there to be a day when one side values the box more than the other.
