Ragebait? Not many run it, I slug rarly and never lost anything, when it was in play.

Everyone that plays her and says "I never defend a three gen as skull woman!" Invariably starts to lose, then tosses drones on the gens and goes back to ole faithful.
You underestimate my irrational desire for honor and my stubburness.
-
But, they are also updating Skully. The three gens is just an additional change. I don't see the problem.
-
Luckily the Deliverence curse is not affecting me, however as soon as I have a tome challange for unhooking the trials begin anew and I'll be constantly the first to be found.

The only thing that you will be missing when playing GF is Myers Moonwalk, which is objectively better than anyone elses by a mile. But you have a first person view as killer so it doesn't matter. :(
Edit: Is it Myer's, Myers, Myers' or Myers's?
I think it should be Myers'.
-
I'm happy with the game and I'm still having fun. That's all that really matters in my eyes.
-
I'm currently on break, because of stress and burnout. But it's unsure if it'll last till next chapter or only next weekend. *shrug*
-
Not when theres only one gen.
And honestly I still do gens when there is still someone else.
-
I did it once and was pleasently surprised. Match against Nemmi and all the gens were done. We were all still alive and three of us already settlet in front of a gate. I 99 the gate when the fourth on got captured. Of course I wanted to rescue them. A probably new Claudette just opened the gates and I was a bit salty that moment, because I thought they'd just leave and leave the last survivor behind. That was the point were I pointed to the hook.
I was very surprised when the others actually startet to run towards it.
Our meg hook exchanged, sadly she was on death hook, but the rest of us could escape.
-
Can't say it for sure, but it's not the process of healing. And its more like an effect if you think about it. I actually think it is intended.
-
Oh, I somewhat agree but think the other way around. I want to play bot matches to get a break from playing with real humans sometimes.
-
I don't tunnel. Had a game on dead dawg saloon with a Rebecca who was either really unlucky or plainly unskilled yet. Got her, hooked her, found her again after she was unhooked. By the third time I thought to myself, "yeah, leave her be" and crossed the entire map to find the others. Do I need to mention, that I encountered her not too long after? Got a second chance, not more. I think I got two kills that trial and I’m very sure it would have been a 4k if I just finished her off earlier.
Whatever, it was a fun match.
-
Jill and Ada, originally watching a killer via wiretrap, how he triggers Blast Mine.
-
That's rough buddy.
But yeah, seems like the controls on console aren't the best, hopefully they'll get adressed in the future. PC has not such an issue.
-
Playing on console?

i just came back to gaming and DBD
Maybe to soon 🤷♀️ It doesn't change the fact that an animation shouldn't put you off like this.

i have 500+ hours in dbd, it does get wack after a while
Feeling bad because of little occurances in a game is a big fat sign you should take small break.

What's the point of playing killer if you can't have a kill each game? Just there to let survivors have fun while killer is t-bagged at the exit gates? The game has to be fun for killers, too. The fact that Reassurance is a perk at all is a good step in the right direction. Not to mention increasing the built in Borrowed Time effect (further boosted by just running the perk itself).
You make it sound like there is no kill ever. The point was that you might not be able to secure a kill every game. Sometimes you simply lose. That's normal in gaming. And about the perks, op has the same Opinion as you do? He talks negativly about the nerf of Reassurance.

As I did tho, I haven't hooked them, just left on the ground. I was actually angry as hell, I've never been so angry by the 1 match of this game for a really long time.
Don't get me wrong, I'm ok with survivors hiding, it's their work to avoid the killer. But I was thinking, what is the logic or point of their hiding?
I'm not a baby hag, not a single gen completed or being worked, 2 survivors are dead and I have a full web of traps with 4 generators in it. This match was clearly over, why would you prolonging the lost game anyway?
The answer is - frustrate the player and make him DC, coz "We don't like this killer", "Ha-ha imagine playing boring hag", "You such a stubborn F-k, why don't just leave".
The toxicity of some survivors in this game is just insane. And why it mostly survivors?
The toxicity of some survivors in this game is just insane. And why it mostly survivors?
Cause the ratio. 4:1, said four times the jerks on killer side. Smh. I think I would probably start to wait to, watch a show and wait for them to disconnect. I'm still mad I didn't do that to the Trapper that was camping the hatch. I'll definetly wait at the exit next time that happens.
-
Lightweight, Spinechill, Red Herring, Plunderers Instinct/Circle of Healing. Nothing really thought throug, just a try to be NEVER SEEN by the killer.
-
Is plague okay, since she is not on your list?
-
I really don't know what everyone is talking about. Its still Autoheaven for me every second match. RPD every 5th.
-
@TunnelVision said:
I utterly detest RPD map, it's a goddamn maze..
I wouldn't say detest but I agree on the maze part. It took me so long to find the stairs yesterday as plague smh
-
I like it. Hit the surv, who got of hook, chase the unhooker. Two persons who are not on gens. One has to mend the other is beeing chased.
-
Honestly? No from the survivor perspective. 60 additional seconds doing nothing? I've never done it before, but that would be a point of alt + f4 for me.

I honestly have no idea what you're trying to say.
Bleed outs do not award Emblem points, as stated in the link I provided.
I never mentioned Bloodpoints, I was specifically referring to Emblems and Grades, so I don't see the relevance of score events??
Ah, I thought you talked about Bloodpoints and meaned that I was referring to Emblem points. Little missunderstanding here.

"in terms of Emblems and Grading"
"Score Events are used to award Players with Bloodpoints in Dead by Daylight" That's written on top of the article, with the lists. Where did you read yours?

They could've very easily just crawled out into the open or towards you. If they wanted to be found then they shouldn't have crawled away when they got downed.
Bleedouts don't count as kills in terms of Emblems and Grading. From the wiki: "No points are awarded for any Survivor that bleeds out." (https://deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Emblems#Devout)
You get 50 Bloodpoints when a survivor bleeds out, also you recieve 2500 Bloodpoint if no one escapes the trial. Also Information from the wiki: https://deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Score_Events

That isn't the point I don't care about getting the 4th kill, I care about not wasting 4 minutes of both of our time.
It probably was the survivors choice to waist time. If they wanted to be found, they would have crawled to your destination. I know that from myself too. Sometimes, when I’m a bit salty, my brain goes „No, I will die on my own terms!“ And try to hide. I get your point though. Would be nice, but it would need a bit of programming to scan for all possibilities, if or if not the survivor could still win, so that’s probably the reason, why they didn’t include it yet.

Temperory solution could be to tell the people you are queued up with that you have red herring
More long term solutions could be colorcoding the aura's but that kinda screws over colorblind people
Having a little symbol of the perk that allowes you to see the aura could be nice. Is a little nerf of ToT though
Ok, which perk do you mean with ToT. I couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance.

I play both sides, enjoy both of them, but I'm worse at killer and because of the q times I only play survior right now. I hope they'll become better, so I can again become a priestress, throwing up on everything. So stress relieving.
-
Oh yes, definetly. Been on my mind too. But I guess it could backfire with people leaving the lobby, for example wehen there is someone with a selfish build.

There's also the part where I mention how Mikaelas never last long in chase and seem to have a habit of going down next to the hook. But sure, ignore all that and only pick out the part tidbit that you wanna see/hear.
Well, as going down in chase early is a skill that needs time to learn and going down near ahook is probably a unlucky coincidence (thinking diferently would be a bit petty), which means they are not intentional, where as not doing gens and instead searching boons all game long is an active descision, I ignored those points, yes.

They're the new Megheads. Like I am convinced that all of the Meg players that were bad at the game just moved over to the newer redhead.
They love to spend so much valuable time wandering around the map looking for a totem to boon even if they end up spending more time doing that than repairing gens. And they last 10 seconds in chase only to go down 15 feet away from a hooked teammate. I've lost count how many times a Mikaela has brought the killer over a hooked survivor and go down near them, causing me or one of my teammates to go into 2nd stage and/or die.
I have yet to see a Mikaela who was what someone would call a "juicer" at the game, at least not one that actually mains her.
The only positive thing I can say about Mikaelas, or at least her perks, is that IF someone is able to bless a totem with CoH early on in an area where there's no active gens (aka an area where the killer has zero reason to go over to) it can often carry the entire team to victory even in matches where the survivors would normally be f***ed. But literally any character can bring CoH, sooooooooo yeah.
Soooooo, your point is boons. Well yeah, everybody brings them. At least in my expiriences. Me included.

There is nothing and I mean NOTHING worse than Mikaela players. I'd much rather have three Fengs on my team than three Mikaelas. Any day of the millennium.
Only time I'll ever lobby dodge as survivor is if I see more than one Mikaela.
Whats wrong with her? (I don't main her anymore, but I'm still curious).

Unlikely. 100% extra bloodpoints just put survivors about 5-10K over what they usually make and the gameplay is still… questionable. Also Wesker is going to make the queue times longer.
Well, at least I'll have more bloodpoints and still instant matches T_T I miss killer a bit.

I've been thinking of trying Lightweight. Do you find it helps confuse the killer? I don't play killer often and am yet to see it personally in play
I swear it works like magic. The amount of times the killer lost me is unreal, when I use that perk, where as without it they always find me. I defintetly recommend it.
-
Its funny how the ratios of the answers theoretically fit the amount of killers and survivors (4:1).
I actually think the patch is pretty balanced, the game is overall balanced pretty fine, it's just a little hard on survivors. But there are differences in solo q and swf, I expirienced it myself, that only one person in a discord call makes so many things so much easier so at this point I don't know either.
-
I do, mostly every time. I want to see how it ends, unless it takes to long. It gives you a nice little break and sometimes you can learn something.
-
It changes, depending on my mood and tome challanges, but the last one I had for a longer time was Spine Chill, Circle of Healing, Lightweight and Blastmine (the last one for giggles, the rest to stay as far away from the killer as long as possible).
On killer it's NOED, Corrupt Intervention, Unrelenting and Infectious Fright.
-
Wraith for similiar reasons @OrangeBear gave. And my beloved Adiris (The Plague), because, and I'm not joking, vomiting on everything is a lot of fun actually. For me at least. It feels as if the tentions of the day are getting relieved. I also like her abilities, that are kinda a bit of everything. If someone is fully infected they can be downed in one hit, they infect each other and everything and when they clean themselfs she becomes a ranged killer sooner or later. Very statisfying overall. That said, I'm a pretty terrible killer. :D

Doing gens is enjoyable to me because I'm not just sitting there holding a button. I'm sitting there looking around to see if the killer is coming and to see where I can run to if he does come. There's this constant suspense for me.
And it's a nice break from being chased because that makes my heart race every time and I need some time to calm down again.
Same. It is hide and seek after all and I really enjoy the situation at a gen, when you are in an exposed position, constantly checking onspine chill (when you run it), looking around and then a skillcheck comes out of nowhere. Rises the tention.

The game itself is lots of fun, it's the sweaty tryhards ruining it. The devs are doing a very good job.
You mean a "pretty good job", right? Jokes aside, it is a reletivly well designed game. Clear objective, side objectives (oh I know some people would clech their teeth reeding this), a nice atmosphere, a lot uff stuff, meaning different characters with the opportunity to individulise yourself in the game and my personal favourit, they keep it running. New stuff, tome challanges, rifts, the events. This is a game were I would state it is getting it's fair share of love (as far as love is possible in this economy).

Survivor, solo - 6
Survivor, swf (usually with 1 other friend) - 8
Killer - 4 (but it's been a while, 'cause Q-times, you know it)

The people are complaining as always, don't listen. Yes the changes are good. One half of the playerbase (and probably more) is statisfied, the others want to raise their voice against changes in videogames instead of real-life matters. I wouldn't take it to heart.
