I've been playing DbD for a month now, and found my way to rank 4 (the first red rank) on both sides. But it seems to me almost everyone is miserable playing this game, so I'm very torn about investing more time on it. I was never a big fan of the proposed Undying nerf because Undying was never the problem. Ruin is the actual problem. The actual counterpart of DS on the killer side is Ruin. These are the two main perks used by both sides to gain large time advantages. They are also the two perks used the most by both sides. Just talking about SOLO survivor. The last meta perk was released in 2017! with dead hard on David. All other past that one, are niche perks that are not frequently used. The 9 metaperks (DS, Adrenalin, Unbreakable, BT, Dead Hard, Sprint Burst, Self Care, Spine Chill, Iron Will) are much better used in SWF, because who needs kindred / bond if you have voicecom? But the devs have done similar powers Evil within similar to night shroud, wailing bell similar to yamaoka haunting, Chainsaw similar to Blood fury, not the same but similar. Devs' priorities. I still don't get why developers decided that we need Discordance nerf QoL change more than NOED rework or Decisive adjustments. I don't understand why changing the Gideon, Autohaven, Macmillan maps is higher priority than improving the state of Haddonfield, Red Forest, Farm maps. If survivors had specific roles (character related or not), which would you be? I think the roles are pretty self explanatory (hopefully) but free to interpretation. Tell us what perks and items you want associated with your role. Or which character best suits your role. I'm a killer main, I don't use it, but do understand why people hate it. It's the most complained about perk in the entire game. Less frustrating and less used perks have been nerfed, but why not noed? This isn't a nerf/ rework noed thread, genuinely asking why? Edit: I know noed went from a regular perk to a hex perk. This is just what I think could be beneficial to Decisive Strike, and make it less oppressive in situations when killers can't do anything, like when someone is downed in an exit gate, but they have Decisive Strike, which the killer can't do anything about. If killer upsets you to the point where you throw he game to face camp a survivor why even play killer? I am just curious. For Clown & Doc I’ve gone back to using their 3 teachables in my builds, and interestingly my match results have been going better than by strictly specialising in one thing (my usual habit). For me, it's The Game/Gideons meat plant. I hate this map with a burning passion. I think it's one of the most poorly designed and thought out maps. I run around for ages looking for a gen in what I can only describe as a confusing maze even after memorizing where they spawn. Hopefully as killers we've done it on occasion to a noob who was clearly in over his head or to reward a survivor who played us particularly well.
