I met maybe 4 hackers in 4.2k hrs (2 of them lagswitchers, 1 speedhacker and 1 invincible Nea) over the past 3 years, although I think I missed some subtle ones. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I see that many content creators face a lot more hackers recently.

I have legit had a Dave and a Steve. Steve today and Dave yesterday. Just didn't even try to hide it. Dave started the game normally. When he failed the blind, I went a different route and ZOOM! There he went crouching like Sonic. The Steve just didn't even hide it. Got knocked down and boom was back up and unhook the person before my chainsaw finished its animation cool down. XD. Needless to say I just sat in the basement and watched TV until they got bored.

  • I use them now and then on how I feel about the group before it starts. Had a 4k Mori with Doc

Never heard of it? I've never done if before, but the point of the build is to make the game last as long as possible, working well with Freddy. It's awful.

    Sounds evil but fun :D

    Did someone say Forever Freddy?

When I want to run such build, it usually looks like this:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/OCZ78CUKMCRQ/image.png

You can replace Dying Light and Corrupt Intervention if you want to, and it will work just fine. The point of this build is to slow the game down... more than just a little bit.

I hate fast-paced trials, both as survivor and as killer. This build is literally a blessing from the Entity, in my opinion.

Well, I gave it a try and the survivors pretty much surrender after two died

  • @Awakey said:

I choose to deal with this in two ways:

    1. Ignore it. Simple enough.
    2. Feed on it. Share it with your friends, laugh about it even intentionally run Forever Freddy and wait for the messages to roll in. My favorite of the two.

    You pick.

Now I need to ask. Forever Freddy?

When you post about 2 map bug issues, an have your discussion revoked. Seriously? this makes me just want to alt f4 everytime i get on that map -.-

could we seriously act like grownups here an do our jobs? mainly, your jobs behaviour.

Things do not get fixed over night and I am sure it's not as simple as it may seem. Just deal with it until fixed or just alt f4 and get a ban each time doing it. Either way...act like a grownup?

  • I mean, depends on the build it can be useful if used right. However you need to be 32 meters away. You can mess with them by using the perk Distressing to really make them worry and give them the false confident when unhooking someone. Since his Terror radius without any perks or anything is 32 meters. It would more likely bamboozle them a few times per match.

My suggestion and I am sure there are other good ones out there.

    Distressing

    BBQ

    Make your choice

    Iron Maiden

    With purple Calm and Restraint.

You will want to make sure to save the shock blast. When hit it will automatically put the survivor in the next level of madness no matter what they are unless madness three. Then they will just scream. Not sure if they will show on Restraint if in Madness 3. Personally I would just drop Make your choice and Distressing and replace it with Starstruck and Agitation also keep the Calm add on and Restraint. If you have Starstruck that is. I came across that in a doc match and it was very brutal. My suggestion the starstruck over Make your choice.

Spirit is a real problem in the sense that it's just too easy to win as her. On paper her power seems pretty complicated to learn but all you gotta do is slap on stridor and play a couple matches and boom, you're pretty much a spirit main now, congrats. Not only is it just unfun to play against spirit, but it's just plain unfair at times and it seems like there are almost no counters to her other than run iron will and no mither. This has to be one of the most poorly balanced characters in the game and I hate it. It's not fun to play her because half the time you basically press one button and you win, or maybe you dont even move at all and they get confused. Something has to be done about Spirit, I could care less about Freddy tbh. Atleast Freddy can't just stand still to get a free down. It's annoying.

    I hate Spirit, GoobyNugget.

Doubt it will make you feel better on this matter, even with stridor I still am a potato with her. :)

yuh i get it can be hard and you want to show positivity, but it can just stress you out if you are trying to fix things that dbd devs have no intention on fixing.

I mean, if anything they made the first step to fixing things by the censorship on certain words. Ironically killer is a bad word some how but that is what the bad guys are called. I can understand how it can be taken out of context but still a little weird on that word alone.

Nea the entity showed her true colors :P

Perhaps. But I imagine that an experienced player wouldn't really care about loosing.

Based on her STEAM achievements, she started playing DBD in 2017. I started playing in 2018, and I've never insulted someone in post-game chat. Never.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2092157#Comment_2092157

Worst thing is, she was not toxic during the trial. No tbag, no pointing at me. Nothing.

I wasn't expecting such behaviour in post-game chat. I had no reason to.

I started back when Huntress became a thing, but didn't stay long. Came back more so when Doc was released.

I just have no need to see the stupidity in end game chat so I ignore it. I wish there was an ignore button on the forums as well, but I just skip threads started by the more well known idiots/trolls on the forums as they serve no real purpose.

That is smart. I kinda just made this to vent out in all honestly. Just kinda shine a little light and maybe see if the Devs even cared. I am sure the mods glanced this over to see if it was fine before moving on, they got enough work I am sure. Just wish the jerk faces would get removed. If toxic people started getting removed, maybe people would become nicer by fear of getting removed?

    Yeah I know it doesn't.

We had a guy in our discord, for almost 2 months. He wasn't that bad with us, but to random people in the game he would threaten, insult, harass, tell them to kill themselves, etc.... we would report him ourselves.

He never got a ban, not even once for a day, nothing.

Eventually the admin finally removed him from the discord, but ngl it was interesting seeing the report system in action, or rather no action I should say.

That brings my confidents in the reporting system down even lower than it already was.

I don't even know what Padded Jaws are, however looked them up. That sounds extremely funny to use. However my trapper is level 1 but prestige twice. Working towards the third one later on.

Thank you :) good luck and have fun in future games. :D Happy Hunting or Happy living depending which team you play for.

I made the mistake of letting a survivor escape by using a very obvious power struggle instead of making them bleed out for 3 minutes.

    I was t-bagged, insulted, harassed......the community sucks.

Show survivors no mercy ever, they will only stab you in the proverbial back for it. Don't give them an inch, they will stretch it a mile and then mock you for ever having done so.

Yeah, I have had some of those myself. Not the good side of DBD. I will sound dirty, but if its a full SWF I will slug them all and let them bleed out if they are doing that. I have no care, I will watch a show while they die. I get something like that extremely rare because I never believe they are all SWF so I really just do it to the ones who did it. Save them for last if possible.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2092061#Comment_2092061

Reporting probably does work....maybe. I just wish BHVR would tell you that the person you reported has been taken care of. Their actions lead to either a suspension or ban.

Like Overwatch. I like the way they did theirs. DBD doesn't have to be like this but some type of notification that your report did something.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/AZHTFHDVAT61/mb6jdwm.png

That is the one thing I did enjoy about Over Watch. The reporting system. Wish all games did something like that.

  • @GeneralV said:

Yeah, I know just how frustrating this is.

A few days ago I had a very interesting match on Coal Tower. The last survivor to die was a Nea, the only PC player in the trial (therefore the only one who could talk in post-game chat). She was also an experienced survivor and certainly wouldn't have died if it wasn't for one or two mistakes during the last chase.

And, in post-game chat, she told me that I should kill myself and burn alive because I main Freddy.

Just why? What is the point?

I think because they are upset and are showing it the only way they know how. Somehow the fun for them got ruin by the killer and they are not happy because they believe they should escape and not die maybe?

Toxic behavior is held in any, if not all pvp games. There's is no fixing the problem since people are the problem. Just do what you think is necessary and avoid them. By setting things to friends only, turning off chat, whatever you think will help you feel better at the end. Report them if you want, that might do something.

The problem with reporting is. I never know if it actually works. So I feel like it's sort of pointless. I mean I am sure it works but I feel like it doesn't because of how often I see the toxic side of the community. I played a total of ten games today. About 6 of them had people like what I showed. I only had two that said gg and was not a mean person.

    @FrenziedRoach said:

I play how I feel the game is going. Some matches I feel being a camping jerk face is needed and so it's not needed. It all comes down to the feel of each match. Because I am determined to at least get one kill gosh darn it.

    @missjay said:

It used to be minimum 200 hours of playtime just to P3 a single killer.

Yeah.... I have no desire to P3 a killer just to make them look like they are covered in blood. It just doesn't strike me worth my own time. More so if I took the time to unlock all the perks on the killer before even doing a prestige. I understand why people do it, but I rather have all killers maxed out and buy cosmetics anyway. They look better in my opinion. However the 200 hours is a long time to grind.

  • @Reinami said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2066832#Comment_2066832

The old bloodweb also didn't have as many perks to deal with. It is probably just as bad now as then if not worse.

That sounds like a nightmare. Glad I don't have to deal with less perks being offered.

    @GlamourousLeviathan said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2066846#Comment_2066846

Nah, the blueprints are completely worthless. Normally maps have 2 spawn points for basement and most players know where they are on each map.

This is very true. However, when you are playing a sneaky sneaky chest guarding bubba to provide a different enjoyment instead of the typical run of the game. :D you know where to B-line to.

  • @GlamourousLeviathan said:

There are two things that I absolutely hate about the bloodweb. First is the number of pollutant offering there is. I am really curious to know if someone likes to use reagents to change the fog or those vigo blueprints to know where basement is. Offerings about bloodpoints, maps and moris are fine but the rest has no usage other than just make you lose bloodpoints.

The second thing that absolutely baffles me is the prestige system. The prestige outfits suck and you have no reason to get them except for Freddy and Quentin (both of them have no cosmetics). If you want to get a bloody version of your favorite killer/survivor and increase the rarity of your bloodweb it is completely fine but why do you need to delete all perks/add-ons/offerings we got? It just makes the game even more grindy.

As for the blueprints for basement and everything. It's a nice one to have depending which killer you are. For example if I am trapper or hag. I like using them to make a save all the more difficult. I mean it's not a needed offering but helps a tiny amount. Nothing great. The foggy stuff I find completely useless unless again hag or trapper. Hide the traps I guess a little better? As for the prestige. I think it's pointless and the outfits are pointless as well. Maybe if they brought back the old one I would be more than willing to do it. But not until they fix this grind.

    @GeneralV said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2066793#Comment_2066793

The old Bloodweb back in 2016 used to be way worse:

Rarer Nodes tended to spawn on the outer circles of the Bloodweb and the cost was determined by the circle Nodes spawned on:

    • Inner circle: 3,000 BPs
    • Middle circle: 5,000 BPs
    • Outer circle: 8,000 BPs

    Here, I think I've found a picture:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/RGR1GHMRAIMB/image.png

You know, I never had the chance to play with the old Bloodweb. I first started playing DBD during the last Winter Solstice event (2018). I just enjoy learning about Dead by Daylight's old versions.

I know it is never going to happen, but I would love to play Dead by Daylight's old versions. Just to experience it for myself.

Neat. Thank you for the findings.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Its even worse when you have all the perks unlocked. Trickster is such a weak, useless killer that he needs Bamboozle to shut down the strongest loops against him (not taking a worthless hex). I've spent over 2.5 million bloodpoints and still have not got it. The amount of time and effort I put in to grind all that bp and shards and I get ######### on. I have every perk in the game unlocked which makes it worse than someone who only has a few unlocked. I'm literally punished for supporting the game and having all the dlc. It's disgusting and ludicrous.

I am sorry that you are having a difficult time. I played the trickster because I wanted to own it. I haven't even touch leveling up this man. Most of my killers are level 40 just so I could on the killers I enjoyed at the time was to get them ready. Now I been enjoying the game and want to expand outside my normal killers. I been playing The Hag and some others but....unlocking everything. I just want to know if DBD plans on fixing this or maybe just find something else to play while I burn myself out on the grind alone

  • @GeneralV said:

The worst thing about the grind is that, somehow, it used to be way worse.

What was that even like? Like how could it be worse than the current state? I know I started back when the huntress came out and had her as my main for the longest time but I don't really remember how it was like back in the day.

  • @TheArbiter said:

They should remove perk tiers and make it so that once you get a perk, you get the tier 3 varient.

That would be more acceptable than having to learn it three times. I get back when the game first started three perk levels was something useful, but now there are total 170 perks both survivor and killer. The killers I believe is 78 total but I might be wrong but there are sixty six total just to learn and I think twelve that are just free to any killer. This isn't even talking about the poor survivors because we have more survivors than killers XD.

But having to learn it technically four times to unlock teaching. It's just becoming to rough. I love this game for the most part but the grind is really getting to tedious

  • Honestly I been playing both sides today. I been getting more toxic survivors with friends and randoms than jerk killers. Do not get me wrong, I have had the jerk killers as well. However the survivors have been more so today. However, I treat the people with kind. If someone wants to tunnel me out, sorry team but I am done with the match. If survivors want to butt dance and other toxic things. I will be happy to slug the entire team and let you all bleed out.

I play with giving the same respect the others give me. I like hooking everyone three times if I can but if I am unable to do so. Well I will play how the game goes, but I try to avoid camping and tunneling. <.< unless the survivors three gen themselves I am gonna hook that person in the middle and make it less easy since I am close to losing.

  • @CustomerService said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2060289#Comment_2060289

Who are you trying to fool? you literally TAP yourself even by mistake (medkit, self care) and DS is gone. Considering how wonky and broken this game is, you will lose DS right away most of the times even when you're actively trying to keep it by doing nothing. After this nerf DS prevents absolutely nothing and is good for nothing.

The change needs to be either reversed or adjusted to go away only once you're fully healed again.

So that way, only when you are fully healed you are unable to DS? So instead of healing you can go sit on a gen for sixty seconds and just magically keep DS? Nope I love this new method. Either you be greedy and wait the sixty seconds. Or you lose DS by helping teammates keep the game moving. It's honestly a nice fix with this 60 seconds of immunity being removed now that if the survivor does anything to help teammates or reach the goal of the game. :)

  • @Mandy said:

There might be an option to turn it off in the future @onemind but for right now this is not currently planned, we are monitoring the chat filter though and making adjustments as we go if need be.

You do know that there are many ways around the censor. When people first that they won't really notice until after a couple of tries. All they will need to do is something like this to bypass your censorship.

    Ba co n

    Po ta to

    p u m p k i n

Unless you all accounted for that method of bypassing the censorship, people will still get what they wanted out in the open to people they are mad at.

Sorry if someone may have already pointed this out, didn't feel like reading the rest of the comments.

  • To much butt dancing kills the survivor. :3 same with if the killer hits survivor to many times on hook

  • I'm not nice when they butt dance every time they throw a pallet down. :3 they can butt dance but I can pull out my camping chair and camping music and relax with them. If the other three get out. That is fine, I had company for a while

Only two times in the past month or two.

One of them was really obnoxious I thought they had adrenaline then I realized none of them had that perk- they just all had a toggle cheat to heal themselves and only waited and timed it to when the last gen popped to make it seem like they were innocent.

It's usually the same disgusting thing when someone speed hacks and starts flying around the map, which was the other case. They were like "lol what a weird bug dbd sure is glitchy" it's like oh [BAD WORD] right the hell off.

Yeah, see this is why I am glad to be a streamer. When I was going against this david, I felt like something was wrong. It was just iffy as heck. Either he was the biggest cowardly David or he was doing something. Now I am going to stereotype the hell out of David players. I never see a cowardly one expect once and he was playing like a Dwight. You know the whole locker gig. Think he just forgot to change skins lol.

    @Yamaoka said:

Reality is NOBODY can even realitically know how often they face hackers.

Hacking doesn't necessarily mean you're flying through the map and using god mode or throwing hatchets as Ghostface.

Some hackers stick to something like wallhacks and know when to hide it.

I used to play Wolfenstein 1.0 back in the day and virtually every experienced player had Wallhacks and Aimbots yet only few of the long-term clan players got banned for it because everyone knew when to use it without making it too obvious.

Ask yourself 1 question: How are you supposed to know let alone prove that one specific survivor is wallhacking if said survivor just disabled the wallhack as soon as 1 teammate died ?

Or how would you know a 4 man SWF team wallhacked? The only thing you will notice is how difficult it is to "mindgame" them.

So yeah, I'm fairly sure everyone has faced hackers at this point.

I was more or less looking for someone that is more standing out. Like ya know running around as Sonic xD.

People who can hide it, I am sure I came across many of them as killer. Sometimes I question some games but go on without thinking to much about it. But I was more or less looking for the major people not hiding what they are doing. Sorry, I wrote that discussion late last night after being up 20 hours xD

Most times I see Achievement or Legacy hackers. Back in the day where there were no servers, I versed maybe 3 lagswitchers.

The first real hacker I saw, was about a year ago, were a Nea and her acomplice David (both from Windows Store). They were in a swf and at least the Nea hacked. She had hacked Legacy, could fly, had no collision, could insta heal, had an infinite flashlight and could not be hooked. In the end she started the EGC at 5 gens left and escaped with David while the other person and myself died to EGC with over 90s still on the clock. And on top of that I think she ddosed the server as well.

Not often enough I consider it a huge problem. Maybe once a month? Compared to like literally every day in a game like TF2 or something. A few days ago I had a Bill Kobe in my face then teleport himself to the exit gate.

Guess he really wanted out lol. Yeah this is the second hacker I have personally caught. First time as killer and first time as survivor. He was laying on the ground after getting down. The killer picked up another person first and hook them, by the time the killer went back he was on the floor on the other side of the map and then just popped up. It was funny but still a dumb thing. when the killer was next to them, he was crouching around like sonic. However those are the only two that I am aware of

  • Get them often, not as well as you put it or wrote it out. Great job.

My response back to them is very simple. Next time I see you, you get tunneled and face camp for just being a pain in my butt. <3 the other three can leave untouched. If they try they will just get slugged. I dislike entitled survivors and I dislike toxic people. I know fighting toxic behavior doesn't work with fighting back with toxic behavior, but I want to ensure they do not have that much fun when they encounter me. Now...will I remember the person. Nope xD

Best part, don't even have that many perks with her either lol

  • @GannTM said:

Like seriously, I see hate posts left and right about this poor killer. I'm not even sure what's more repetitive at this point: doing gens or coming across posts about Spirit.

To heck with your spirit! Stupid killer with stupid powers and stupid mind games and and and and and... What else do people complain about?! XD

Love the spirit the way she is.

  • Honestly, when I start I play just to play. Most of my thinking is, how can I make the game hard for the survivors while not making it to easy. Yes I love playing the Doc impossible skill check build but mostly for BP. And well hopefully to that group of jerk survivors who are looking to be a bunch of toxic members of the community.

But I also play other killers, trying to get better at them so I get ran around like crazy lol so I picture myself. Im the jerk killer they are gonna hate for the day

You mean take the survivor out first that is trying to lead you to the other survivors? I like that. :P

Mean, the goal is to catch the survivor before they get to the others but hey. If we happened to run into them. Oh well. Guess a game of smacking people is in order.

I always use spinning top on The Twins.. everyone and their mother wants to run Plunderer these days for free keys.. nah **** that.

    don't need Franklin's.

Fun one to do is the Bubba Add on that knocks items from there hands when they get hit by the chainsaw. SO now you don't even need to bring franklin demise in now with Bubba. xD just learned that today. Was like O_o what the hell are his perks since I always play him with no add-ons

  • @flanniganmichael said:

The purpose of playing is to accumulate Bloodpoints, which we use to level up our survivors and get new perks, items and offerings. So if that’s the main purpose of our games, why is there a perk to make survivors drop their items?

Franklins Demise is a perk for players who are scared of survivors having items, nothing more. It rewards killers for playing poorly, if you can’t find a way to counter play keys, med-kits etc etc then I’m sorry, but you need to get good. I no longer bring items into my games, because whenever I do, the killer decides to bring FD. I’ve been playing for maybe 7 hours today, and I’ve played against nearly 13 killers that used this perk, across various (although dominantly red) ranks.

When will the developers nerf this perk? At the very least, you should be able to keep your item, but lose a certain amount of charges, or lose the ability to use it for a duration of time. That would be preferable to losing it all together. If killers can have power add-ons that survivors can’t counterplay, Iridescent Head and Tombstone for example, why can killers do that to us?

    Thoughts on this vile perk?

The perk isn't broken but it evens the playing field a great deal for the killer for those who depend on items. For example Med-kits. If you remove the med-kit from a player hand, and they have to risk going back to collect it. One: wasting survivor time. Two: removed option of self healing if they do not have the self-care perk. Three: The item goes away after away when not collected.

Its a nice perk to have when a team of try hard flash lights come in and they did the last second switch (mind you this is very far in between). Or people running keys and maps. If I see a key, this leads to two things happening. Last second key brought in = no mercy and tunnel if they are not already playing like a potato. But they will be the first to die regardless unless someone dies for the team. Because screw you, your team is not leaving in the box.

Mostly if I bring it, its to counter keys, three or more flash lights just to annoy the survivors since really just time the downing of the player near a wall. Or if I am playing the Item Thief.

As for the items. You can either find them or bring them in. However, if the killer does bring in that perk. Not going to lie, it's only good for just that. So as a survivor, I would rather them bring in Franklins vs Play with your Food or other perks that can be more of a game changer.

Also as a survivor, I don't bring anything in so this never really bothers me much. It does suck when I find a goodie in a box and it gets ripped from my hands. But Hell I call that karma to myself XD

  • As a killer, I love when people do that because I will knock the one I was chasing or just switch off after the new one. As for reporting, hopefully what DFP said is true.

Full heal straight off of hook is kinda dumb but idc as much these days as when back when every survivor ran it (and I was playing old freddy). I'd be nicer if pretty much every meta survivor didn't become completely insane at endgame, most of which are much more of a free escape than adrenaline.

Like as one person mention before. It's not all that common anymore. Just today, it seem like 2 out of the 4 were running it. Like I mention to him/her. Most games never make it to End Game. Either I go into big brain mode. Or they go 100% potato. Kinda miss old freddy.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

    It's basically just reverse noed.

But... If its reverse NOed... I can get the sprint boost once off hook because of it... but if they are healthy NOed don't care xD

  • @NomiNomad said:

Am I the only one that barely see's Adrenaline anymore? It's like 1 of 10 games nowadays.

At topic, eh. The hook thing is irritating, but Adrenaline has never bothered me too much, compared to something like Dead Hard (for distance)

Honestly been seeing it a lot more lately. Dead Hard has never been my problem because I just bait them to use it. Only now and then do I get someone that does really good with it. It just doesn't make sense like most of the comments already made. NOed I consider a baby perk its useful but half the time never make it to end game so would be a worthless perk. It just doesn't make sense that oh...I have just gotten off this hook. Full life. Just doesn't make sense.

If it’s not OP why is it heavily used. Why is it heavily discussed. Not buying the BP bonus. Use kindred and watch killer scan after a hook and hone in. Not fun playing a ONi or Hilly illy with this Iwin perk. Pretty much have to play assuming they are using it and like poster said position near a locker, climb in count to 5 while they are on the hook and climb out. If it’s not OP why is it used soooooooo much. Looks damm OP to me. Play without it then. Seems like almost a crutch for far too many killer mains.

Killer main. Simple answer. Blood Points is the biggest reason. I am sure you already heard from many others that few can really use this to benefit from it. However, if BBQ does get removed or nerf. The next perk for survivors or two I can think of is these two. Kindred Spirit (shouldn't show killer location for any reason if BBQ cannot see survivors). If they remove the bonus Blood Points. We're gonna live forever. Since its the Survivors Blood Point bonus. It needs to be removed if BBQ Blood Bonus gets removed.

I honestly use BBQ simply for more blood points because the grind already is nearly to damn much. I been focusing on getting all the perks on my killers and I barely even started with the damn survivors. I think I got 3 or 4 to the point I unlocked the perks. But yes a few killers with BBQ can use it to there advantage. However can be countered. If you cannot grasp the fact you can sit in a locker for 5 seconds. Dear God that is a long time in a DBD match. Then hide behind a gen and keep working on it. Or, use a perk called Distortion. Just make sure your team don't get hooked more than 3 times. Solo runs that's hard but hey. Its a counter for the start of the game at least.

If the killer being able to see survivors auras is over powered, then isn’t Kindred Spirt also overpowered?

Yeah! How am I supposed to Insidious camp Meg if she has that Kindred perk! Bubba is lazy and don't wanna go hunt for his steak fingers! He let them come to him :D

  • @WishIcouldmain said:

Just saw someone say it is. Someone with over a thousand posts say it's the Aura not the Bp. Killers use it primarily for BP not the aura. So let me show you why it isn't OP.

    1. Jump in a locker

    2. Hide behind a gen

    3. Walk one direction for four seconds then go the other way.

    4. Get within 40 meters of the hook not that hard for reference that's the range of Huntress's hum

But the killer can zoom says the person who couldn't use one of the four counters to a perk. So let me name every killer who could reach you in time and why it still isn't that bad.

    1. Windstorm Wraith okay no terror radius he zooms over an gets you except he's Wraith you'll be fine.

    2. Spirit with speed add-ons okay the Spirit phases to you but at that point her power is completely drained and you'll be looping a 4.4.

    3. Demogorgon with his portals okay you walk near one of his portals he teleports to it except you'll hear it coming and then you leave and can hear his footsteps

    4. Sniping Huntress this is very unlikely even the best Huntresses can't consistently pull this off it's rare.

    5. The Twins okay Charlotte sees you unbinds Victor you'll hear it coming and if Victor does latch on you Charlotte will be so far away it can't be utilized.

    6. Legion with duration add-ons okay even with double duration by the time he gets there his or her power is drained and you're looping an M1

    7. Blight okay he zooms over there. Once more he would've used all his charges he's an M1 killer when he gets to you.

    8. Oni okay he pops his power heads your direction. Okay you hear it coming and it's terribly risky for an Oni unless they're good at tracking to pop their power after you. Without being on you. He's slower then Billy using Demon Dash. Not to mention he can't zoom all the time.

    9. Billy okay he zooms over to you. Once more you'll hear it coming and Billy's power can struggle at some loops.

    10. Nurse okay she begins to teleport to you once more you'll hear it coming and good Nurses are very rare. And she'll use both her charges before she gets there you'll be able to get distance.

    11. Freddy okay he sees you near a gen he teleports there you'll hear the gen with the blood splatter and he won't be undetectable you can gain distance.

Final conclusion there are 22 killers currently in the game as I write this. First six scenarios require add-ons or aren't efficient with the Aura that means there are only 5 killers who can truly utilize BBQs aura and even then it's not like they're approaching you with stealth. And for Oni it's a gamble. Billy and Nurse you'll hear. Freddy isn't as precise so not guaranteed to be an immediate hit. And Blight would have wasted all his charges. And people that's why BBQ & Chili isn't a OP perk.

People say its an op perk. Honestly when I hook someone. 90% of the time, I go and kick a gen if it is close by compare to looking around. xD I use it for more blood points. xD Like, knowing where people are is pretty easy, most times its easy to find them without it. However there are the few times I go to the wrong spot and say damn. Should of looked xD

  • I'm so super happy for the MMR system. Like SUPER happy. Because I wanna learn the nurse but playing against people who are super skilled. Well, don't really want to try just yet. Same with the Hag and Spirit.

  • Yeah... That shouldnt be the thing. Should be on all maps >.<

My philosophy for how good a killer is also takes into account how they do with no add-ons or with brown add-ons. He does awful without duration and extra effect add-ons. Because if you have to use a select build or two, or a few select add-ons for the killer to work, he's no good.

I am not sure I completely agree. I have had games, in the red ranks which again Red Ranks mean jack flip, other than determined people playing. I have had it where I slaughtered a group of people with no add-ons. Mean, of course perks but with Legion, the perks I used for him didn't slow the game down. Like with Ruin or other ones similar to that expect for than Thanatophobia. Got a 4k with little effort. Again, failed horribly. I average with Legion 2 - 3 kills a match. Most of the time the last one gets out by hatch (darn hatch GRRR).

For example, my favorite with no add-ons which isn't a popular opinion is the Doctor. Don't know why, but zapping the heck out of people always makes me happy.

  • Nothing I have ever heard of.

  • Personally, the one thing I would like to see and I know this will never come to be.

Mic Option - When people are talking on a mic, the characters make noises. This way it gives away people location. Not like you can tell your friends. Oh yeah the Floof is over here looking for me. You talk, it should make mumbling sounds. Nothing word base, just kinda like the teachers from the peanuts.

Gens: Honestly, I have been playing Survivor more lately so I cannot complain without going back into the shoes of the survivors. Gens are done to quickly. Even if you apply pressure. You get everyone running which I have seen a GREAT deal of. Prove thyself. Gens get popped so quickly even with just two people working on it.

Keys: Everyone complains about them. The only thing I would like for the key to do is open for the person HOLDING the key. Not for the entire team. Its kinda sucks but kinda doesn't so this one is like a catch 22. You open the deal and you and one other escapes because the other two died for whatever reason. However, that is the only thing I can say, but again. Its a catch 22 because you have to wait for the darn thing to appear.

Otherwise, Maps don't bother me to much. Sometimes they are good and sometimes they are bad. Also depends on my build.

  • @danielmaster87 said:

This is just awful. Any time I pick up Legion for a daily or some other reason I always do badly. If I want a stressful game I'll just pick him. He has like zero map pressure, his ability is simply to injure, and he gets aim dressed all the time. Even Trapper is better than him because survivors can get cocky and you snowball on them. Legion has nothing like that. The only good slowdown perk on Legion, Thanatophobia is also garbage since the nerf. His stun after using his power needs to be less, or be less visually disruptive. He needs a secondary ability. He's much too simple of a killer to pose a serious threat against any team above rank 10. You just stay injured against him and push gens, or heal against him if he wants to waste all that time injuring and not downing. How did this killer make it to live?

I beg to differ, either your playing skill is not very high or its some of the perks you run. Honestly, I have done very well and very poor with legion. However I have done very well with all killers and very poor with all killers. Yes in the red ranks if that makes any difference. There is a set of add ons I prefer for him, and some I will never use.

Honestly, a lot of my builds come from youtubers who make builds. Im to lazy to experiment on my own and when I do the few times. It fails horribly.

iri head need rework no a nerf to 24m instadown, need to be a real useffull addon. This game have serius problems with addons. Discrepancy between killers, rarity does not always make the addon better. case of pig demo, twins, etc. Some time iri or ultra rare make unbalance the add ons. the Dr. addons rework is a good example or a good job, iri add and are no op or a conbination of addons. Hope for a ir head = begrimed head + manna grass

I honestly love the doctor now, compare to what he was like back before the rework. I finally made a sneaky doctor build... Ok didn't make it. Stole it from Monto on youtube xD
