Tiny Blood Warden Buff

I thought it'd be cool for Blood Warden to get this.
So you probably know the layout of the Exit, but just in case...

Ever found yourself JUST too late to catch up to a Survivor and you couldn't activate the 60 seconds on Blood Warden, or were the 60 seconds not enough?

Then maybe this is a nice lil addition for you...

The idea is that Survivors can now not only see the Entity Blockers when the Killer comes to raise them with their presence, but Survivors can also be blocked by these now.

Survivors still cannot raise these Entity Blockers on their own, they need a Killer nearby to raise them.

There can also be no hostage-holding in this idea, since the EGC starts as soon as an Exit Gate is opened.

Oh, and the passive ability doesn't have a requirement before becoming active, and isn't restricted to a time-limit.

Blood Warden's main function can often have this "Oh #########!" effect on Survivors, as you may have seen on some videos or streams.

I figured this small, passive ability might have the same effect, albeit to a smaller degree.

Instead of happily teabagging the Killer, whether it's to give BP or to make fun, could be a bit more dangerous now.

In conclusion, like the title says: It's a small addition, but i thought it'd be a fun addition nonetheless.

The idea in 1 sentence: Have Entity Blockers that rise when the Killer gets close block Survivors as well.

Might be fun for those Killers who get a lot of Survivors who hang around the Exit and just want them to leave.

Now you can slap 'em instead!

EDIT: Given @SurpriseSurprise 's comment, it should probably still need a trigger or limit.

Unsure what it'd be though.

I love everything about this post. The idea, the diagrams, the cute lil' Satan :D

I couldn't think of a cool but simply-drawn weapon, and once i had already drawn 2 lines, i stopped thinking and just put a fat spike on it.

  • I am very unsure about this, but for the most part, it seems fine.

Hmm, However, given that you are faster than a Survivor, it's totally possible to just get a kill from this perk by following a Survivor during the EGC and preventing them from escaping entirely.

Probably should have some kind of condition where it falls.

Idk, maybe hooking a Survivor should be the trigger for both effects then, and then this effect lasts forever.

  • Confirmed next killer, triangle knife man

  • My problem with Blood Warden is that, since the Endgame Collapse, it has been largely useless because survivors 99 the exit gates to circumvent the Collapse altogether.

I like this change because it actually gives a reason for the killer to open the exit gates and start the countdown. The changes you describe here seem like they could open up a whole new level of strategy to the EGC. I'd really like to see something like this.

On a side note, the companion perk to Blood Warden, Remember Me, could regress exit gate opening progress like Ruin.

The problem with this hole idea is that if Im a survivor and Im running from the killer and I manage to get to the exit gates, the killer gets a free down for free.

I think the only thing Bloodwarden needs is to activate when hooking a survivor after all gens are done, even if the gates are closed.
