I just linked my Xbox and Steam through the cross progression system however I and many others had the account link successfully syncing our progress, points and cosmetics but are missing any and all DLC killers, survivors and cosmetics. So I was thinking about the scratch mark portraits, the Legacy 2.0 from the grind reduction. Does that count as a "platform exclusive cosmetic" since it's a cosmetic or will that also transfer to other accounts? I have a steam, epic games (not in use but got when it was free), playstation, and switch account, switch being the oldest of the 4 and has all the Legacy portraits. Which is basically the same as the base gamemode with obviously 2 killers, whom both have debuffs rather than buffs. I believe only thing this game needs is a way to play with a killer friend and nothing much more. I think no-ones gonna need space for 7 other friends as survivor. I am loving the new game mode I wish it was permanent not only that I feel like there needs to be more killers added to the mode not just the basic 5 killers. Also we should be able to pick any map with the new mode which is a lot of fun. Also this mode is alot survivor sided because there are 8 survivors and 8 generators. They fly by so fast. The way I saw the FAQ it made it seems like you would get 4,500 iri shards for each DLC that you own on both. From the FAQ: So it doesn't matter how many DLC you bought on both, you only get 4,500. i bought cosmetics for Nancy when I played back on PS5 and even madd Steve and Demo P6 but i don’t own them while I still got their bloody cosmetics as well. BHVR has updated their FAQ and 4500 shards are rewarded PER duplicate chapter. Currently, I only own one DLC on PC and all my other DLC are on console. Would I still get the shards by October if I re-purchase DLC right now after already linking my accounts? Also, since I can only buy "packs" now, will I still be rewarded per DLC in that pack? Am I just out of luck? I first played DBD on Xbox in 2017. I had quite a high prestige, but I ended up losing my old Xbox while moving countries. I thought with cross progression I would be able to get all that progress back, but it's asking for me to login to the game on Xbox. I don't own an Xbox anymore, so is there just nothing I can do? My xbox has synced just fine, not even needing me to open the game to sync my progress, but switch needs me to open the game and close it to register. I understand the pushback against this idea, but other killers don't have grenade function associated with their range attack. I mean, technically the Xenomorph has the acid/ tail attack combo, however it's still limited with it's range. I realize that this topic has been brought up on this forum countless times, but have the devs said anything yet about addressing the issue of people offing themselves on hook and ruining matches for the other survivors? As with the PTB feedback, there were complaints with these changes that were pretty much ignored and its not shocking that people complain about Knight now on live version since he sucks no suprise there.
