So as I'm sure you all know there is a new UI coming tomorrow, and as I'm sure you also know there has been overwhelmingly negative feedback on it. People have called it cluttered, busy, too spread out. The character icons look out of place and it can be genuinely difficult for some killers to tell when certain people are injured. Since the launch of this new update 4.5.0 I been having games where it shows that I had safety piped but for some odd reason de-pips me at the same time and I'm not sure why. I have a screenshot showing it happening but is anyone else having this problem? I cannot play the game because the new HUD induces headaches. I tried different scaling options, and nothing helps. The game is unplayable in this state. For the record, I play on PC at 1080p. I'm not sure if I should be posting this in the Bug Reporting section or not but I just tried playing Clown on the newest 4.5.0 (?) / patch 18.5 update and my ears want to bleed when I find a Survivor. I can barely hear the sounds of an injured Survivor during the lower points of the Clown's new Chase Music and footsteps are 100% gone due to the intense volume. The menu bug to toggle on actions as survivor wasn't mentioned in the patch notes as fixed but it was actually removed/fixed on the PTB. I was hoping devs would add toggle on option when it hit live but it doesn't seem like it. Constructive and harsh criticism does not equal slanderous comments. If you (the developers of this game) cannot handle constructive criticism and label it as harmful ranting, then there is a clear problem within your team. If someone is just going out of their way to be hurtful, then yes, you can silence them, but if someone is giving direct feedback to your game, it is not slanderous. DC penalty still a trash idea. It completely benefits the killers. They are allowed to religiously camp, tunnel to death straight from the hook and with no consequence. Survivors don't want to be in a match with a toxic killer who that is the only way they know how to win within minutes of a match starting. I have connected a controller to my PC that hasnt given me issues up until last week when it suddenly does not register as soon as we load into the game. It will work when I'm unlocking the blood web or equipping items but is completely unresponsive when I try to play the game. The fact I paid money I worked for and I can't play a game without either losing connection or leaving because the game is flooded with cheatera, and get banned from it, should be illegal. As a person who plays both sides I believe that 99% the gates it's an exploit, making you cheat the End Game Collapse. You can literally 99% them and go do what you have to do without being pressured by the time, knowing that all you have to do is TAP the gate switch and escape. Fog should be a staple on every map, based on the feel of that map. There should be maps with heavy fog, and maps with little to no fog. I was never a big fan of the proposed Undying nerf because Undying was never the problem. Ruin is the actual problem. The actual counterpart of DS on the killer side is Ruin. These are the two main perks used by both sides to gain large time advantages. They are also the two perks used the most by both sides. So I play red ranks both sides and noticed theres a huge gap between rank 1 and rank 1 survivors ( yeah i know i typed rank 1 twice, thats what the thread is about) A rank 1 could be a super good runner and do gens fast. A rank 1 could go down in 5 seconds and do gens fast. Why are they both the same rank? because Perks are good, especially DS was good. Every single game of mine recently has displayed a white/red arrow in the top left corner of my screen. I have read that it has to do with internet lag, but my internet is well and working. At least don't nerf the DS. It's an ocasional perk, it's not used always. And I don't want to lose 1 minute doing nothing just because I used this perk to save me from tunelers and campers.
