Daily ritual still not working. Dunno how many teleport hits I got this match, but it was more than 0.
-
Also confirmed, and the game keeps giving me it as my daily ritual over and over.....
on PC/steam.
-
Same issue here on steam. It'll show friends as online but not in game, and all attempts to send invites don't appear for one party or the other. And sometimes it'll work and one person will be in a party with the other, and the other doesn't see them as in a party, and if we hit ready we'll not que in game together...
Restarted our computer/the client like a billion times and it finally worked.
-
Same thing just happened to me just now. Very annoying. Also on PC/steam.
-
Saw this too. Was just in a match as survivor vs a killer who got his first devour kill, then we cleansed his totem and he still got to mori the last 3 of us, including someone who wasn't dead on hook yet, but no exposed. We were all very confused.
-
There's one in Midwich too, my screencap is terrible but IIRC it was stairs in one of the weird little rooms.
-
Just got this bug today on PC after the patch. Had quite a few fully charged shreds, including a survivor I cornered at one point, so I was 1000% sure I had a fully charged shred on them. Still said 0 hits.
-
I also just now got 2 safe unhooks and at least 1 gen against Plague while broken/injured and didn't get the challenge.
-
I think this just happened in a match where I was killer. I thought the person was hacking, and reported it as such. Woopse.
The player randomly healed after the medkit disappeared from her hand. No idea how. I triple checked after she magically healed mid chase, and there was no medkit in her hand, but she had apparently brought a med kit with the syringe into the match. I obviously did not see when the medkit disappeared. I had seen a medit just left on the floor previously, so I assumed she had dropped it earlier, hence the hacking report. But in light of this, it was probably a different medkit.
Person was a nancy on console. We were on the Game so I'm sure she threw like 50 pallets, though I obviously didn't specifically catch when the medkit disappeared.
-
played a game where someone literally had "cock" in their name but we couldn't say it in the chat.
My friend also couldn't say "sensual."
This game is rated M for good reason why on earth does this profanity filter even exist? A horror fan blushing at some strong language is a hilarious concept. Like I could maybe see if it actually filtered out select actually bad slurs or something for the sake of preventing harassment, but as is it seems to arbitrarily sensor every 5th word because ######### you that's why.
Bonus when you're trying to say something funny/nice and the game is just ########## #### so it looks like you're raging.

I agree with many that there should just be an obsession every match. It's stupid that there isn't. Or make like waaaaaay more perks obsession perks.
I avoid tunneling as killer, but when there's no obsession, knowing that I strategically probably should tunnel annoys me, because it's an unfun thing to play against. People with less qualms about tunneling are probably discouraged from using STBFL or one of Mike's obsession related addons, because they'll get more information from the survivors about if they're probably going to have DS or not. Which is dumb. As survivor I essentially never ran DS, but usually some rando would bring it in, and sometimes tunneling would happen anyway... But ohboy it was VERY frequently a tunnelfest when they did not.
DS now IS a wasted perk in if multiple members of the team bring it. If you're in a swf and one dude brings it? Great. Optimal. If you're solo queueing? Seems like every time either no one will have it and your odds of getting tunneled to death skyrocket, or all 4 of you will have it and your team is essentially down 3 perks. Solo is rough enough without DS roulette.
Not to mention it's good/healthy for gameplay to encourage a diversity of perks. But if people need to worry about ensuring an obsession every round, they have an extremely limited pool of obsession perks that don't just completely suck nuts, thus limiting that perk diversity.
-
Happens all the time when I play killer (PC) think the only time I have gotten stunned since the patch was when i got flashlighted then someone dropped it on my head. I DO usually swing through pallets, but I also had someone go for a pallet save they prooobably should have gotten and I just slipped away.
While playing survivor I've gotten stuns, but while playing killer? almost never get stunned.

You could just leave when the killer is face camping at the end... Take the 3E and the win and move on.
My point is you don't know about the NOED until a second person is down in my scenario. Hence why I would be fine with the perk if you knew once it activate, not only AFTER you go for the save... And the killer pretty much secures their 2k
Though I have had 3 mans just leave me to die first hook because I guess they didn't want to find out if there's NOED... Which is cool of them...
-
This dude's example is garbage but NOED is indeed infuriating.
What I see 90% of the time is someone gets hooked right around the last gen popping, then the killer just face camps. And suddenly, unless your team is 100% ######### or the killer gets a terrible totem spawn (love when a totem lights up right next to me) they get at LEAST a 2k instead of a 0k since you won't know NOED is active till you go down...
Blah blah do totems sure. But it's a huge waste of time most matches. And I've seen some TRULY disgusting spawns. Or it can spawn near the killer who is just going to protect it is they don't have brain worms.
If you got debuffed as soon as the totem lit up, I'd probably have 0 beefs with the perk. It just sucks to punish altruism so severely.
It's not the #SHEER POWER OPness of the perk that's the issue. It's the un-fun-ness. Like OoO. And yes I play plenty of killer too...
-
Got this one when some survivor DCed during the load screen. Obviously didn't get that many pips, pretty sure I properly 0 pipped but I'm not positive, haha
-
I'm purple...i was wondering why i was having such a hard time ranking back up
-
It's so baaaddd. I was worried killer would be worse because you're generally, uhh, more busy. But to my surprise I hate it even MORE on survivor, cuz it's impossible to monitor teammate status during chase (did they get unhooked yet? Am I running the killer in a horrible direction?) And difficult to monitor while doing skill checks. And don't even bother casually monitoring gens. Like we'll get used to it but it makes life worse for literally no reason...
-
I'd guess bad luck too.
When I play killer I try to avoid tunneling, but it can happen more or less on accident, or by necessity if the team's playing well and one poor soul is the weak link who I keep finding.
If I could guess with the Legion, maybe he feral frenzy hit the other person then doubled back and broke frenzy to down you? The way his power works out that situation comes up a LOT. And if you're sweating it up, it is probably the better move...
My only guess on the pig is maybe the others offered boops. Still a dick move.
The one Nea specific thing I could think of is if you're teaming up with other similarly dressed Neas. This might be a me having brain worms problem, but sometimes when I'm playing killer and I have a hard time remembering who I just hooked if I have two survivors who are too similar. Doesn't even have to be same outfit, just vaguely similar...
-
I mostly main survivor, but just recently got this combo on killer and...I still don't like it. I don't like giving up 2 perk slots to something so OP it feels almost stupid not to run, when I could be picking perks more tailored to my play style/more fun. I'll probably ditch it soon on most of my killers for this exact reason soon. But man, had some matches that were bloodbaths that I feel I fully did not earn thanks to the combo.
I don't like the argument that it's counterable by survivor perks for the same reason. I don't like feeling like I'm being forced to run a perk. Not to mention this cure heavily favors SWFs. If one dude has the locating ability, he can either hunt while other folks do gens or he can let the team know where stuff is. Solo's you either have the whole squad out looking (then the one guy who spots it gets spotted by the killer and he can't tell his bros where it is, etc, etc) or no one's doing it/running the perks at all.
Another thing I dislike about ruin/undying both as killer and survivor is the amount of randomness. This goes for all totems, but undying just compounds it. Skill just seems to play such a minimal part in your outcome if a 3-4 man swf is not involved. Sometimes the totems are both located under flashing neon signs that say "cleans me plz," sometimes with undying, people have to cleans all 5, and sometimes one or more of your totems spawn somewhere deep inside satan's butthole...
"high risk high reward" just feels unfun for both sides.
-
Same thing just happened to me. Well over 5 hooks using agitation (i think 7 or 8) on the Shape. Did not complete the challenge. Was on steam/PC
Got de-pipped for my efforts too...
-
I get this bug super frequently with Claudette and Meg with the pigtails- only meg has her ponytails but not the rest of her hair.
Though honestly buzz cut claudette's a pretty good look. Meg....less so
I'm on PC/steam

I love when people complain about matchmaking and other people get mad at them like "GET GOOD u just got outplayed" like....yes? I'm trying to get better?? My point is I am not??? And I'd prefer not to be miserable while I get there????
But at least queue times are short.

Again, BP are worthless, no one cares, if someone DCs thats up to them. Let them. You get your precious BloodPoints and they get a 5 min smoke break to avoid the likely highly toxic tunneling face camping killer they just DCed from.
Win win if you ask me.
Then you're the ragequitter's teammate who's sitting there annoyed that some knob rage DCed because he got downed 30 seconds in to the match, or decided to suicide on hook before anything could really happen, thus dooming the rest of his team.
Not much of a win-win there...
-
Hard agree on toxic survivors. I also started killer pretty recently, though I found the number of truly awful swfs got better when I finally got into purple ranks on killer. Not sure if there are fewer jerks, or if I'm just better at shutting them down. But yeah, the match making is the absolute worst.
If you can, I recommend getting Lightborn early. I wouldn't run it all the time by any stretch, but if it looks like you're going up against a flashlight wielding harassment squad, you might not win, but you can at least ruin some of their fun! Did this to one group who brought in 3 flashlights, and I ended up winning because they suicided on hook once they caught wise...
It's probably partly a numbers game, out of 5 people in a match, 4 are survivors, so the dbag's statistically gonna be a survivor. But it still feels disproportionate...especially when finding multipul groups of 3+ jerks on the reg.

Half the size of midwich but there's 5 different floors that all look the same, but with a random maze of tiles and pallets. Gens are single person use only, hidden behind walls and in corners
Survivors constantly hear the heartbeat but can't find generators, killers can't find anyone or if they do they have to break 500 pallets.
Basically every indoor map's problems x5
Was going to suggest something similar.
3 floors that are stylistically identical so you can't tell which you're on. Each floor only has 1 staircase that is procedrually generated so they're never in the same spots. Gens are all inside of rooms tucked in weird corners and impossible to find, but maybe like a hole in the floor or two. Hallways within the levels are blind, narrow and winding and where doors are for the rooms make no sense. Breakable doors everywhere, but half of them open massively OP loops. but the level is a pain to navigate without breaking the doors due to the winding halls. Like Gideon and Midwich had an unholy demon baby.

Played Legion yesterday, and the speed felt better? Definitely faster than default, but hard to say if it was back to correct. But I swear I had a couple FF lunges where I held the button and still got a little swipe instead of a lunge. But it was intermittent enough it was hard to say if it was user/equipment error or an actual bug...
Though there was definitly a bugged pallet, but that's a different problem...
-
All the legion haters lol. I'm mostly a survivor main and I've enjoyed pretty much all my legion matches. They add a level of chaos most matches just don't have, which I find fun. I also don't face them much so it's a nice change of pace from the 100000th nightmare.
With legion as I guess my killer "main" I will admit matches run longer, but I find people who complain post game are those who don't know how to counter them... Shout out to everyone who got a FF stab, assumed I would run off, and immediately started mending in the middle of nowhere only to go down immediately when I end FF and stab them for real... If I had a nickel every time... I'd have a few hearty meals of chicken nuggets by now. And I'm sure many more to come.
Boring killers imo are like campers and people intentionally being lame... There are killers I enjoy going against more than others, but that's personal preference/not really the killer players fault. There's killers with powers/kits I have gripes about... Or ones I see too often... Who may be one in the same obnoxious sleep butthole. but whatever. Better than waiting in queue.

I'm usually online anywhere between 9pm-11:30pm PST and the Survivor queue is never shorter than 5 minutes. On average I'd say it lands right at around 7-8 minutes to get a game, so, this time was highly unusual. Killer games never take more than 10-15 seconds of queueing, BUT, it's almost always mismatched as far as ranks go... I'm only rank 14 I think and I consistently get groups of rank 2s, 4s, and 5s.
I refuse to play killer after like 9:30pm pst. I swear the population of complete dbag survivors explodes. I'm operating under the assumption a disproportionate number of teens up past their bed time are to blame. And yeah, survivors queue times were awful those hours, so I suspect I'm not the only killer to notice this.
Though there are perfectly chill people those hours too. They just don't outweigh the jerks.
-
I've run into a couple recently. If the end game chat was any indication they were doing it specifically to make people mad. Which is charming.
-
Piggybacking on here:
5. Couldn't place traps on the stairs in the killer shack basement. Also PC
-
It's good to see that I'm not insane apparently.
Just feels so weird for it to be a game issue when huntress seems more or less fine! But I guess I'll just trash my dailies when I get them with her for now...
-
@Rattman said:
Im having a flashback of running around of some random structures, where I can't even throw hatchet as Huntress.
No kidding...
I'm admittedly a baby huntress, but I have to bloodlust at least once a game to deal with this stuff.
Maybe I wouldn't mind if they fixed the janky hit boxes of waist high bs half the maps are littered with.
My killer mains right now are Huntress, Myers and Legion. Rip 2/3 for my newbie self I guess...
-
Also can confirm. When I was on Huntress it seemed to be working fine (though I was not paying that close of attention.) When I switched to Trapper suddenly I was getting way less towards the challange than what I earned.
-
i'm quite new so I can't compare with years (or even months) past, but i've noticed when I'm a purple survivor, i'm up against red killers, and when I'm a yellow (recently green? somehow?? I'm so bad though???) newbie killer I get crap like this ^
It's hard to enjoy/learn killer when every other match you have a squad of red ranks swarming around you like gnats and constantly tbagging because they know you're not experienced enough to deal with it.
this match making is awful. How does something like this even happen? Letalone happen REGULARLY
Here's how fixing match making would turn a profit: I'm definitly not buying any more killers until I can actually start enjoying fair (or at least fair ISH) matches on them on a more regular basis...At least in unfair matches as survivor i'm usually playing with friends. As killer it's just tedious and obnoxious.
