You can't fix tunneling without removing the killer's agency/ability to eliminate someone from the game when they NEED to (ie - the game is going poorly, they need a come back, etc). These perks are extremely unhealthy for Dead by Daylight balance. Background Player should be reverted to its previous version. I had that issue on PS4 7.4.0 version of Dead by Daylight in the loading screen. A message also appears saying that it may not be possible to save the progress in the right way. I tried restarting the game, the console and uninstalling and then reinstalling Dead by Daylight. Unfortunately it didn't work and the error persists. I play on Steam, but this has been happening with streamers I watch, too. Usually, when the killer is picking up a survivor, the survivor would make a little grunt of pain. I would always use that as a reference for when to do a flashbang save. I'm either tunneled at 4-5 gens, proxy camped or slugged and left to bleed out in about 90% of my games. Survivor just hasn't been fun at all for awhile and I find myself on killer most of the time now and it's got nothing to do with dying and losing it's about how. Not sure what is going on but he seems to be stuttering and feels like he is stuck when close to survivors when I try and hit them. Happens regardless of map. It is frustrating and I haven't had this happen to any other killer. Killer fully knocked a different survivor just to wait for Claudette to get unhooked. She got sacrificed at five gens btw. Cheap strategy got them the 4k. This status is either next to useless against SWF or just straight up broken against solo queue. You can lump perks like Knock Out in here too. It robs solo of crucial game info and negates any aura perks to help your team like Kindred. Meanwhile in a SWF you can just tell your team where you’re at with no problem. You're supposed to get 3 great skill checks in a row with Technician perk equipped, which isn't too hard. In game it tells me I got 3 out of 3 (as I did it), but on match complete the challenge remains incomplete. I've done it 3 times now over the recent days, hoping it was patched. Leaving in general ( when we are talking about rage quits , or troll quits etc... ) is a bad habit that can be found on every game it's not something new . In DBD when a survivor used to leave the game he would just disappear , nowadays the survivor's place is getting taken by a bot .
