I was wonding if anyone else refuses to use perks that they don't like facing? For me it's eruption I don't run it because I hate getting hit with the incapacitated effect as a survivor so I don't put other players though that. Recently started playing Oni, and I've noticed that his lunge/hitboxes seems smaller than other killers. I'm missing lunges that I swear I would normally hit with demo or ghostie Same with doctor as well, feels like their weapons are shorter or something. I swear getting hit through a clearly dropped pallet has gotten more and more common. It happens practically every game now. The most egregious case is wesker dashing through a pallet mid-drop, and grabbing you, and slamming you into the pallet you just dropped. Would removing the ability to take chances improve the game? On the killer side of things, 4%ing can win survivors games by just getting lucky. However and mainly, on the survivors side of things, it would prevent several things: A) Stop survivors being able to give up straight away, no more instantly griefing games because you're the first hook. Have been beavering away trying to learn this guy and I just don't get it. Guards are a fun idea, but summoning them is highly telegraphed and even if people get seen, they very rarely catch anyone. About the only consistent use I've found is popping one out over a downed survivor to make saves harder. Hello guys, I have a very annoying problem that I'm seeking a solution to find, hopefully someone can help me. My problem is, the game randomly crashing, with "Game files veridification failed" with random error codes. I always do the steam repair stuff, sometimes it works sometimes not, but it always find some "corrupt files" but there is no connection with the problems. As in - you really just need a fun game, whether that means an easy win or just a killer you like mechanically. For me: Hag. Whenever I get tired of her, I give it a few days and I'm back on her. She was my first proper main and, by playing her as a non camping 'roaming' Hag, I have a ton of fun. Plus, she's one of a few killers that can actually scare people. Dredge. Just...love this thing. I just had game, since I m playing Solo-Q and in some games teamates didnt unhook me in time I decided to equip Kindred. I was playing against Huntress, map was Raccon city, the Huntress had perks for adept and did 8 hooks but I havent seen Killer aura once.... Nurse violates the normal rules of the game and as such survivors aren't really playing their game against her, they're playing the nurse's game. And that's fine. But why should the normal rules also apply to the nurse? Instead of all these ideas about changing the way her power works wouldn't it be best to change the way that status effects and aura reading apply to this killer? It is my opinion that survivors should not have any perks that grant bonuses to gen speeds and all of the ones that currently do should be reworked or have their effect added to some element of the game. Normal gen speed is enough. Twins, Pyramid Head, Hag and other killers that could potentially use their powers to camp have counters, usually crouching. But Knight? So far I haven't heard anything that there's something to do other than either let the hooked person go to 2nd/die Point 1 + getting knocked down and hooked. While Dead by Daylight certainly has its issues, its without a doubt that maps have always been a pretty big issue. While there are some pretty decent maps out there that all killers are pretty decent on, those are in the minority. So I noticed now when I wear Kindred, no matter what I cannot see the killers aura when he is in range. I even put on open handed to make absolutely sure that this was the issue. The killers aura is just not showing up at all for me even if they are right next to the hook. With no insidious or anything. I will play whatever side is offering the 100% even if my preferred role is survivor. But with no incentive I may as well just play survivor as I find it less stressful but I am finding survivor queues are already a lot slower. For it's FNAF now if we're talking about 2013(if I remember that's when it was released) I would be fine with it but I think it's just FNAF has sorts now become a kids game in a way it lost it's scares after a while because kids started playing it more. Just because the game is going poorly that doesn't mean you have to dc or give up. I've had my fair share of bad games as killer and survivor and when I lost,I just kept playing even though I was frustrated or feeling demoralized. Giving up wont make you feel better,but it sure as heck satisfying when you manage to turn a game around by not giving up. Are there any plans to stop punishing players for DCs and AFK killers? I talked about this issue when fellow survivors DC from the match, but I just had an AFK killer. Obviously all we could do was do gens, then I cleansed a few totems, opened chests and opened an exit gate to leave. I depipped. This happens when other survs DC too. It has been 4 games in a row that I had to DC for the same reason: Getting stuck in place as Twins. Three times as Charlotte and once as Victor. BHVR's disrespect with the consumer is astounding. The character is 2 years old and they still have the SAME BUGS as in the release. What's happening ? For months the survivor queue times have usually been under a minute, even when I last played (the day before yesterday) they were super fast. But today it takes so long to find a match that I just had to turn the game off again. I watched Otz earlier, he and his swf also had to wait a long time for a match every time.
