Thank you, all.

It is still possible.
survivors can just hide without progressing the objective at all thus holding the killer hostage.
killers can bodyblock one/multiple survivors before End Game Collapse activates to prevent them from progressing the game in any way - this is still considered taking the game hostage even though the other survivors may be able to progress but it’s completely out of the hands of those getting blocked.
that’s the two most prominent examples for both sides I would guess, but there are possibly other scenarios that count as well
Thanks, I thought so.

From my personal experience as a survivor I jump through a window & half a year later I take a hit (which is even more common when injured for some reason)
As a killer in a reverse scenario I probably miss & hit the window.
It's not my internet or my ping & maybe their validations are 100% accurate but it's the most frustrating thing in the game for me personally.
I rarely have this issue with pallets they generally seem pretty on point playing both sides.
I've had interesting scenarios from both sides. Once, I swung at someone, before they even got to the window, and it didn't hit. As for the window things, there are 3 levels of vault speed for survs. 1 is slow vault, 2 is medium vault, which is a fast vault from a bad angle, which allows the killer to get hits, easier, even after you're on the other side, and 3 is fast vaults, which seems like killer can't hit, once the surv is inside the window frame, despite the logic saying it should, if it's killer sided validation. I'm looking for the answer, due to a debate.

After the event has been released i just cant play survivor... Im playing with a friend who is new and obv he gets tunneled out every single match first i mean even when im bodyblocking or other teammates they just ignore them. ALL killers slug for the 4k too. I mean i've had games with 2 insta dcs and the killer still slugs xd.
Now i dont really care everyone can play how they want but i am a little curious if anyone else is seeing this trend? I mean i havent been slugged for a while in literally months (slugged as last survivor) ive had it twice today where they slug me for 4mins and i had one yesterday so something is up :D
Only time I slug is for challenges, but other killers probably want that 4k. Nothing inherently wrong with that, but I can see how it can suck, on the receiving end.

This isn't playing the game to win, this is playing with the intention of being as scummy as possible. It's not even try harding as it takes zero effort to camp a hook.
It is playing to win, as winning is about kills. If you can get 3+ kills, it's a win, and if that strat gives those kills, the killer wins. Most killers do these things for the win, based on what I've seen. Very respectful, in end game, and all that, as long as survs are respectful.

That is sad to hear that's exactly how I felt more and more in Dbd until eruption made it better for me but I obviously don't want you to suffer only so I can have fun.
I don't want to defend eruption one bit I wanted to point out that what eruption provides makes the game much more enjoyable for me so I think the devs should go on and try to make the game more fun and less stress for every player no matter if killer or survivor. The people who want to sweat will do it anyway and if bhvr would make a actually good matchmaking and mmr people who sweat would only ever face other sweats. That's why I realized swf isn't a problem at all but matchmaking is
The thing about this is it's pvp, stress is innate, if you're going to play to win, which most people do.

Simple answer, they want to win, and with how strong surv can get, if you want to win, you need to play very tryhard. And because of this, and the loose mmr, casuals get caught up in the cross-fire.
