The number of VPN killers is significantly increasing since 2023, guess what, hit validation is still a joke as of 2024. Lots of Asian players connect to US server to take the advantage of bad ping. I personally like to go for an endgame risky save or chase rather than just leaving. I tend to find that more fun than just take the guaranteed x man out. I just got this killer and, correct me if I'm wrong, but do you actually have to press M2 each time you want to use another token? Not only it means you lose out on duration of your sweep (to be safe), but if you press to use another token too late the animation cancels- it's very frustrating. Has anyone else noticed that Ghostface sometimes can't stalk survivors in short structures, or that if survivors do a quick jump they can't be stalked during the animation either? Hook locations broken again, how do I get a response when fixed as I will not play killer or survivor until then? Yesterday I downed them in the gate area, there were no hooks nearby. Listen I'm a Twins main. I love the uniqueness of the playstyle and I'm really worried about these changes. With the new update Viktor will no longer attach after injuring a survivor, only after downing them. There's a major problem with this. Viktor is extremely fast and unloopable. Survivors always make selfish requests like not camping or focusing on aiming. In the current environment where generators are repaired too quickly, if the killer is to win, he must kill one person as soon as possible. I know they were added to prevent cases of people getting ontop of loops and just becoming invincible against some killers. Or killers dropping on loops to batman a survivor. Though the former was more interesting. But they seem to be getting to impulsive with adding them. You can't chainsaw as billy off the top of haddonfield house or any other high place. It seems like if you miss the shot by 1cm they don't get hit, meanwhile other ranged killers like Huntress can miss by a meter and it still targets the hitbox. Like why are they a thing, you know where you hooked someone, you know when someone fast vaults that your chasing, you don't care that Claudette is spamming it on the side of the map where gens have been done while your in chase. I play solo Q for the most part, simply because a lot of my friends have moved on from DBD. The problem is that means I put my faith in random teammates. Sometimes they're awesome, other times they're either new or a bit scatterbrained. Which is also fine despite the frustrations at times. It's the 13th and I still haven't gotten rank reset. Usually rank reset occurs between 12AM - 2AM on the day of the 13th but not today for some reason. I've noticed lately that every Killer is playing the same tactic in each match: Hook a Survivor, wait for the save, hook the Survivor performing the save. Repeat until sacrifice. The Killer makes no effort at kicking gens, giving chase, or even leaving the hook area. This hardcore camping/proxy camping style is nearly impossible to overcome. I notice that the fog is incredibly thick on some maps all of a sudden (Ormond for example). Neither me nor my teammates are offering to thicken the mist. I play on Nintendo Switch and it's already difficult to see on my TV, even with the brightness settings optimized for the best experience possible. I think it's important to encourage the devs for more unique spreads of add-ons that don't feel like simple stat buffs or effect appliers, so that more playstyles open up to create more diverse matches.
