I hear all the time when players are frustrated at DBD. They usually go, oh you feeling frustrated? Take a break. Play a different game. See here is the issue. Telling people to take a break for starters, doesnt fix the issue of why youre frustrated. When you come back after your break, sure you might feel a bit better but those issues will come back. I have yet to go against a SM that isn't either the most toxic or stuck in the past 3 genning. I know so many people defend her to the point that I always try in a match now because of it. All of the Killers have their own unique Power, but some feel great and satisfying to pull off, while others feel incredibly underwhelming. For me, the best is a toss-up between Pyramid Head and Nemesis; punishing a bad vault or unhook feels real nice and has instant feedback while allowing you to appreciate the hit from relatively close range. If it is against the "Rules" to have Pitty on survivors and let them go. If its against the "Rules" to give hatch because I'm "siding with the survivor" If it's against the "Rules" to be mad at Rat survivors for hiding all game hunt them down and letting the other one go. I am so sick of the same Pain Res, Pop, Nowhere to hid3e, Lethal meta right now. Just before I dropped dbd again (for like the third time), I got really into Ghostface. The playstyle of not chasing and finding good hiding spots and angles to mark survivors and quickly down them felt better to me than playing anyone else. Even my mains like Legion and Wesker. I played my first Tombstone Myers match last night but could only kill one Survivor by hand. The first time I hit Tier III, I chased a Meg thinking it would activate when I got close to her but it didn't. Then I got tier III again and Killed another Meg who had just missed a generator repair skill check. I didn't play DbD for few days and decided to play some evening 5 survivor soloQ matches today. Here is how it went. Legion that DC after 5 minutes of the match. Blight with broken Iri add-on and Alch Ring (still very good) tunnels someone early on, plays like hot potatoe, still manages to get 3K becuase it's Blight with OP add-ons. Survivor hides the entire time...no saves, no doing gens, just hidden. I felt bad because I'm Human and empathetic towards my fellow players so I hunted down the hidden player, hooked them, and let the other one go. was I wrong? Was working with the survivor wrong? I played 5 matches as Plague today and in 3 of them at least one survivor either DCed or killed themselves on hook. The most embarrassing one was a Yoichi who used a map offering for Garden of Joy and then DCed after I downed him with Corrupt Purge. hello, solo Q. For some a punishment, for me the best experience you can currently have as a solo Survivor. Although I have to admit that despite my experience and number of hours, the hunts are not as much fun and i prefer to focus on a different play style. I play a build tailored to me and like to hide. The amount of time I've overall spent on this killer is like 10 hours at most. I mostly just leveled him up when he released. Played him for a bit. Then only play him for daily. But the survivors are like equal to my billy who I'm at p50 on right now and ive played since 2017. The same thing happens for my huntress who I think I have even less hours on then nemi. It's quite a common thing to hear that many people dislike indoor maps compared to outdoor maps. I personally, on both sides, prefer indoor maps. I personally think they're more interesting as the game play loop feels more varied by the layout whereas most outdoors maps have the same tiles and loops with a different splash of paint to where they generally speaking all play exactly the same. i think they should add a last chance as survivor who haven't been hooked the entire game. Listen, I would consider myself a huge critic of BHVRs Rework Designs but its safe to say they've done a great job with Billy, Sadako and Blights OP Addons. Lately I've been running Lightborn full-time even if I see no flashlights in the lobby, and it's come into play every single game. The lobbies with no flashlights will have flashbangs because Background Player makes saves so braindead easy.
