I'm not sure.
-
My answer would be Tomb Raider, but it's not there. Anyway, I've liked pretty much all chapters, besides Chucky. That thing can burn in a fire.
-
Like you say, The Thing would be interesting, but I'm not sure how it would work. Maybe we'd finally have a killer that had the power to disguise as survivors?
-
Reiniciar meu Xbox geralmente resolve.
-
Claro! Vamos pegar George Washington enquanto estamos nisso! ☺
-
The same thing happened in Brazil several months ago. It's annoying, but I'm sure there's some kind of reasoning behind it. Not much we can do. 😔
-
In my opinion, a 7. Most people say any build that isn't 'meta' is bad.
Don't listen to those people.
Use whatever builds you find fun, or are good with.

The Tomb Raider chapter opened the door to possibilities of collabs like this.

This was super helpful but I'm still slightly confused. I got an email from Xbox saying their prices are going up. I currently have Xbox ultimate, I only play DBD. So my question is, should I purchase DBD off the online store and the pay for Xbox core (9.99) subscription?
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3773695#Comment_3773695
If you're sure that DBD will be the only game you'll play for the foreseeable future, then switching from Ultimate to Gold may be good, as you'll save around $10 a month. DBD is frequently on sale on the Xbox store, so keep an eye out!
-
Not that I'm aware of, but hopefully.
-
I mean, if you're finding it that annoying, you could bring Calm Spirit or Hardened.
-
Well, we do know that the Entity feeds off the emotions of the killers and survivors in a Trial. This is it's primary food source. I don't think it seems to care for being worshipped.
-
Although I'd love to see the Predator eventually, it would be deserving of a full chapter.
Slenderman is the best choice on this list, as he doesn't really need a map or survivors.
-
Ugh, the little gremlin is back.. 🤮
-
I would say it's not bannable, because both parties had the opportunity to finish the game and neither did. Essentially, they were just holding themselves hostage.
An example of a bannable offense would be if the killer body blocked a survivor into a corner and refused to budge (how that would even happen though I don't know).
Another scenario that could be considered holding the game hostage is if there's a 3 gen that's very close together and the killer continuously patrols them, ignores chases and only hits survivors repairing, making it nearly impossible for them to escape.
Still, there's an option to report people for harassment, so what you consider harassment is up to you I guess.

Maybe not all characters, i'm fine with getting overall more Killers voicelines.
Survivors however should only be reserved for the licensed ones that can be potrayed by their original actor/actress.
With that said, they have yet to give any character in the game better voicelines than the ones for Alan.
As long as we can get some more, I'm happy.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
Nah, really not needed. Or they implement it and then, finally, an option to disable the voicelines.
I dont really see any appeal in them, especially the ones from Lara are really weak. My "favorite" is the "Put me down"-voiceline when picked up. Sounds like a person who is a bit annoyed that her friend picked her up.
Or Alan Wakes mindless screaming. Ugh.
So I hope they will not give every character voicelines, I think the amount of times they are implemented well are quite low.
Really? I thought Lara had the best in-game voice lines yet, especially her "bollocks!". Still, if people don't like them, they could just disable them. I honestly see no reason for BHVR not to do this.
-
She's more annoying than powerful, but her Corrupt Purge ability is very strong and could do with some tweaks.
-
As far as I'm aware, they were time-limited and will not return. Still, there's a chance maybe.
-
Probably the in-game store. The new one makes you realise how basic the old one was.
-
Absolutely NOT! Building up your character's prestige level takes a lot of time and deserves to be showed off. If people feel like they need to dodge a lobby because of it then that's their own problem. There's plenty of bad P100s and good P1s. Also, let's be honest, 95% of players will not bother to check other people's prestige levels after a match. This all effectively renders the ability to show off your time and dedication to the game obsolete.

Okay, hear me out. The Huntress is Baba Yaga.
The Huntress, or Анна (Anna), lives in the woods in Russia, in a place called the Red Forest. Анна would have been born sometime in the late 1800s, as according to her in-game lore, she is alive during the events of World War 1.
One day as a child, Анна experienced a traumatic event. Her mother was killed by a giant elk. Now, this is my theory. This 'elk', was infact not an elk, but instead the witch of legend, Баба Яга (Baba Yaga). For some reason, Баба Яга decided to possess Анна, instead of killing her like she normally would. It is known that Баба Яга has the ability to shape-shift into various different animals and even winter storms. This would explain how she took the form of an elk.
Анна, now Баба Яга, puts the past behind her and begins a new life in the forest. Through the years, 'Анна' displays many signs of supernatural strength, being able to kill bears with nothing but an axe and her bare hands, something no normal human could do. Soon, 'Анна' even begins to kill humans that wander into the forest, akin to Баба Яга.
At some point, 'Анна' begins to feel something. An instinct from a previous life. The urge to raise a daughter. Acting on impulsiveness, 'Анна' begins raiding nearby villages, killing everyone and stealing all the little girls to bring back to her cabin. Here she leaves them to perish, doing nothing for them but bring them toys and trinkets, whilst she herself adorns an animal mask to try and appear more friendly, despite her cold, empty, black eyes. Perhaps this motherly instinct is the only part of her that Баба Яга didn't take?
Rumor began to spread across the land, a tale of a woman, a half-beast, who lived in the forest, killed men and stole little girls.
Eventually, war comes to Russia. Germany begins their invasion and at some point end up reaching the Red Forest. Almost immediately, 'Анна' begins hunting both German and Russian soilders, taking them out with an unnatural speed and ferocity, seemingly unaffected by their bullets. After these killings continue, the Germans and Russians begin to work together to try and eliminate 'Анна', who they started calling a Bodark. Ultimately, they are unsuccessful.
After many years, the war ends and the soilders retreat from the woods. The stories of Анна, the Bodark, the half-beast, The Huntress, slowly fade away, their memory forever lost to the forest.
Maybe Баба Яга found a new host? Maybe she travelled elsewhere? Or maybe something more powerful and terrifying took her?
In-game, The Huntress actually has an outfit for Baba Yaga, which makes my theory even more plausible. I also believe that her Were-Elk outfit is simply one of the many forms she can take. Of all animals, BHVR choosing an elk is very coincidental, considering the important part one plays in her backstory, specifically during the time that Baba Yaga possesses her.
Maybe a bit of a stretch, but perhaps the fog ever present in the Red Forest is actually being summoned by Baba Yaga herself, as she has the ability to 'become' winter storms, so certainly she could do this too?
So yeah, let me know what you think of my theory! ☺

I would say pale blue, or possibly a dull green.
-
This sounds pretty good. Similar to when the Xeno exits a tunnel.
-
Yes, your changes sound perfect. There's a lot of perks that could do with some love right now, one particular being Low Profile. Just make it permanent.

Kurt today chilling in the garden! 😎
Also, I'd like everyone to meet my pigeon, Susan! 🐦
She gets so sleepy after she eats her bird food! 🥺
-
The Clown's bottles have had no recent changes. It could have just been a glitch.
-
I voted Billy, because a person running at you 100 miles an hour with a chainsaw would be pretty damn scary. He wouldn't necessarily be the hardest to escape from, unless you're outside, but I mostly chose him because of the pain. If you couldn't fight him off or escape, that chainsaw is not going to be a fun way to go.
Nurse would be my 2nd pick, mostly for the reasons @VantablackPharaoh91 discussed.
Also Pt.2 when?
-
I wouldn't say any killers outright scare me, but the few that make me feel slightly tense are:
Michael Myers (Scratched Mirror) - SM Myers definitely keeps you on your toes, especially on indoor maps. You never know when he's standing around a corner and you have to look around like a frantic maniac when you're doing gens.
The Onryō - Maybe an unpopular opinion, but playing against a good Onryō can definitely put you on edge. They can easily sneak up on you and trying to bring a tape to a TV can be downright nerve-wracking, especially when she emerges just as you're about to insert it! Becoming fully condemned isn't exactly pleasurable either.
The Unknown - An Unknown with a stealth build is definitely one of the (if not the most) scariest killers in the game. Walking past one of it's hallucinations can certainly induce anxiety, especially when you know it's using Insidious. Dispelling a hallucination is perhaps the most heart-pounding thing you can do in this game.
The Dredge - The Druanee has little competition for the title of scariest killer in the game. Its design is just as disturbing as its backstory. In the presence of The Dredge, merely walking by lockers becomes dangerous, let alone hiding in them. Attempting to navigate through the total darkness of Nightfall can definitely make your palms sweat. The trepidation caused by the Druanee is set to become even more profuse in the upcoming PTB, where its ambient noises will be reduced, making The Dredge even harder to detect during Nightfall.
-
For me, no. All my matches have completely random skill levels that don't seem to be altered by time of day. I've heard other people say they have similar experiences to you though.
-
Vecna is currently the only known person to hold off the capture attempt, seemingly with ease. Even with some of the extremely powerful abilities of pre-realm characters, the Entity would likely be able to simply capture everyone again. But, if everyone worked together, maybe they could do something.

The cream pies cause The Entity's IBS to flare up and everyone escapes whilst it's in the toilet.
Fatal diarrhoea! 🥰

Prediction:
In Tome 4306, we will find out that The Entity is lactose intolerant. This explains why there is no ice cream killer in the realm. The Entity fears dairy products.
So my guess is that only a killer with the correct power could take on The Entity. Maybe a demonic pug with a cream pie launcher as a weapon?
Wow, yes! Maybe the demonic pug could give the Entity a cream pie, the Entity fills up with gas and eventually explodes and everyone can go home! 😍

@GladSkull said:
Would The Dredge be able to get bigger and bigger? In the bio is it to be interpreted that The Dredge is at the point of being ready to hunt without cultist help? I wasn't sure how to take it if I'm honest. If it can grow I think the Dredge would be able to at least go toe to toe with The Entity!
Dredge seems like the killer with the most potential.

I would say survivors are a team to start with but in many cases the survivors are more brutal to eachother than the killer is and this is the view of many, survivors and killers. They have no issues stabbing eachother in the back if there is a gain. Yes some people do selfless acts to help their teammates but a huge majority of the time survivors are more like mercenaries and will use eachother to do gens, distract the killer or whatever needs a team effort, when the team is no longer required it's every man/woman for themselves. Perfect example, Many many many matches, survivors work as a team, help eachother out, when 2 die and it's down to the last 2, it's very common for both survivors to hide and hope the other gets killed first so hatch opens.
When there's 2 survivors left, the game takes a dark turn (not that it was sunshine & rainbows anyway). In this situation, no matter what, the survivors can't do anymore gens. The Trial then turns into something like this:
Option 1 - Both survivors will do their best to hide, until inevitably one of them gets found.
Option 2 - One survivor willingly sacrifices themselves so that the other has a chance of escaping.
Option 3 - Both survivors attempt to expose the location of the other survivor.
Typically, when one of the survivors gets hooked, even if they're on the first hook stage, the other will just hide away in a locker and wait for the hatch to spawn.
The Endgame is brutal.

If you're asking if you need a WiFi connection to play, then yes you do. If you have a connection and the game won't work, you probably have a problem on your end. Sometimes turning your router off and on can help.
If you have a strong WiFi signal and the game still isn't working, try contacting customer support.

https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/423596/how-do-you-escape-in-this-situation
If the exit gates were both literally touching each other that's a bug. And I have never seen that happening at all. However exit gates beeing very close to each other is a common thing. There is things you can try to do to avoid getting killed but it depends on how close gates are. Also the killer might have some perk to reveal your location and know which gate you are at, or like trapper can trap gates and get a notification when you disarm them. Hillibilly can easily reach both gates even if they are far from each other unless there is obstacles. But it's still typically easier for him to patrol gates. Things you can do is open the gate just up to 24%. Because at 25% it already appears the first red light on the gate switch and the killer will know you are there. Wait for the killer to come and then when he leaves proceed to fully open. But if the gates are really close you have very low chances for that to work unfortunately. There is perks to open gates faster but they are not worth using just because of that. Keep in mind that killers also find gates spawning too far unfair as they have no chance to get there in time before you escape and that encourages slugging for the 4k, unlike people saying that they do it because of the blood points bonus. I think gates should spawn always not too far and not too close from each other but like I said there is killer powers, perks etc that can make end game completely different and if we make gates spawn even closer than they are it's gonna be even easier for hillibilly to patrol them and even easier for trapper to trap them both. And if gates are too far it's not fair for most killers, so I don't see how to fix the problem other than creating some new game mechanic we have never seen before
This is the dilemma, because the distance between the exit gates may not be a problem for fast killers like Billy, but will be for slower killers like Nemesis. Realistically, the gates can't spawn in a place that is fair for the survivors and slow/fast killers. Unfortunately I think it's just about luck. 😔

I think they can randomly spawn, but just not completely random. Like they have to spawn within a fixed distance range that isn't too close nor too far. And never on the same wall.
Of course what is close or far depends on who the killer is. At distance might be an easy patrol for a Blight, but completely indefensible to Myers. So there's always going to be some contentiousness here.
And then you have Midwich, which is just a death sentence for a lone survivor in EGC unless killer is grossly incompetent.
Your idea is pretty much perfect!

I've had killer matches where the gates were super close and hatch spawned almost equidistant from both of them. So that I could close and stand on it and watch both gates with clear line of sight on both. Zero chance left for the surv.
That shouldn't happen.
Gates should not have random generation. So many problems would be fixed!

If the gates are super close than your only option is a key. Finding a chest with a key and the close hatch isn't likely

Me when i don't know that all medias needs a primary genre in order to establish the main identity of an IP.
There's a Stranger Things chapter. According to Google, these are the genres of the show:
- Adventure
- Romance
- Horror fiction
- Science fiction
- Horror
- Mystery
- Suspense
- Thriller
- Supernatural
- Drama
- Teen
- Historical drama
I'm pretty sure the primary genre of Stranger Things is 'historical drama'! ☺
Why can't it be? When a piece of media presents itself as multiple genres, how is a primary one decided?

@Smoe said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3778234#Comment_3778234
R6 (much like AOT) is cosmetic only so that's completely irrelevant as this is purely about chapters only and Dungeons & Dragons can be excused because it's a game engine that exist to be whatever people want it to be, which includes horror, which the D&D chapter is heavily theme'd around both in map and in Killer choice.
Tomb Raider is just Lara Croft only, there is no horror-adjacent killer included, the IP itself is not horror nor does it try to be or advertise itself as being that, it's themes are not nearly horror focused enough and i will never not consider it the most disappointing chapter we've ever had so far.
So the Hour of the Witch chapter is more rooted in horror than Tomb Raider? Mikaela is just a girl that dabbles in witchcraft. Tomb Raider is a franchise that involves demons, cannibals, murder and ritualistic sacrifice. Which chapter seems more 'horror'?
