  • It's laughable, people are always demanding new game modes and modifiers, but then when they get them, all they do is moan. Guys, if you don't like the modifier, just don't play it.

  • Both of these killers are usually contested for the spot of 3rd best, but who do you think is?

  • In the Custom Match pre-game lobby, you can give survivor bots up to 4 perk loudout presets. I have had mine all set up for months, but encountered an issue yesterday. Perk loudout 2 had became the same as 1 and whenever I tried to change either of them, they would replicate eachother, like they were the same thing. Additionally, what was perk loudout 2 moved to 3 and 3 moved to 4, erasing what

  • The recent addition of characters with in-game voice lines was perhaps one of the best and most interesting things BHVR has ever done. After maining Lara for quite some time, switching to a character with no dialogue, like Nancy, feels strange and a little boring. It's so much funner playing as a character that actually speaks instead of just grunt, grunt, scream. Also, instead of only yourself

  • I feel like the amount of bloodpoints earned from daily rituals should be moderately increased, as the average of 30,000 just seems too little, especially for some of the harder rituals. The amount of bloodpoints earned should be increased as follows: 30,000 ~ 50,000 45,000 ~ 60,000 60,000 ~ 80,000 So, not an astronomically insane increase, just a little to make the rituals more worth your ti

  • You're probably thinking "what?". Hear me out. I made a post yesterday: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/423596/how-do-you-escape-in-this-situation And it got people a little riled up about something. 'Are survivors a team?' @Ayodam commented this: "Survivors are not a team like in Apex Legends, Overwatch, or similar team-focused games. They’re four

  • I started in 2023, so I don't get much of a say, but what do you think?

  • Sometimes, both exit gates spawn almost next to each other. As a survivor, how is it possible to escape in this situation? Sometimes the gates are so incredibly close together, that the killer has a clear line of sight of both and can walk to either in about 10 seconds. Unfortunately I don't have any photo evidence so you're just gonna have to take my word, but one time I was in a match and bot

  • Okay, so I play on an Xbox One and started the game in late November last year. I don't know for sure, but if I had to guess I'd say I have around 500 hours. Just for a general idea of my skill level I'd say I'm: Adept at looping Good at mindgames Great with flashbangs Bad with flashlights Bad at most techs, with the exception of a fake vault, which I can do pretty well Terrible at spinni

  • Previously, if you were carrying an item, then crafted a flashbang, the carried item would remain in your inventory, but you would be unable to use it until the flashbang was dropped or used. Now however, it seems that once you craft a flashbang, any carried item will be removed from your inventory. Likewise, if you're carrying a flashbang, then attempt to pick up an item off the ground, it will

  • I'm sure there is already a well established reason for this, but I can't help but wonder why Lara Croft doesn't just build a makeshift weapon from some sticks, climb up a tree, then pounce down on an unsuspecting Legion walking by. Or why Ada and Leon don't use all of their knife defense skills against Michael. Why don't the survivors fight? We know they can, somewhat. They can throw a pallet

  • So, 2v8 has been mostly fun, chaotic and pretty much like everyone expected. One not so fun thing however is when you're being chased by both killers at the same time. There's essentially no counter-play and chases rarely last longer than 15+ seconds. In other words, you're dead and there's pretty much absolutely nothing you can do. One idea I had to potentially make chases in these situations

  • Like the title says. They can be as extreme, unique and outlandish as you want. Preferably share some for both survivor and killer. For survivor: Tripwire - After completing 40% of a generator, Tripwire activates. Press the active ability button whilst standing next to a doorway or vault location to install a Tripwire that will remain active for 100/110/120 seconds. The Aura of the location af

  • Lately in all of my rounds on 2v8 against The Huntress, my survivor hitbox seems to be completely bugged. She is constantly landing hatchet hits on me, even though they CLEARLY miss by about 3 metres and you even see the collision effects hitting the air. This is so frustrating to go against because it's practically The Huntress every single round. It's making chase against her such a slog, as ev

  • I'm pretty sure that the only killer thus far to receive a mark of negation is Vecna. The Entity decided that he was too powerful and potentially a threat, so he engraved him with the mark, severely reducing his magical potential. While there are arguably other killers that seem worthy of receiving the mark, such as Dredge, Freddy and Wesker, I feel like Nemesis feels especially deserving. During

  • Okay, not 100% Dead By Daylight related but still. In both situations, you are alone and have no weapons. Would you rather attempt to escape from a giant underground laboratory whilst an adult Demogorgon is after you. Or attempt to traverse through a giant spaceship and make it to the escape shuttle whilst a Xenomorph Drone is on your tail? EDIT: Just to make it a little bit more interesting, i

  • Although most likely all of them would fail, which of these killers do you think has the highest chance of beating The Entity? In this example, all killers are completely unrestrained and at their maximum potential.

  • In the lobby, we see some random survivors gathered around a campfire, as comfortable as they can be, whilst a killer ominously watches from afar. Are the survivors free to leave the campfire and wander off into the forest? From what we've learnt in the lore, The Entity's realm is big and so much more than just The Trials. We already know that the upcoming Project T game will be set in an unexplo

  • This feels weird to post, as typically I preach about how killer sided the game is, but 2v8 is the exception. I'm not a bad killer player, practically every game I get a 3K and let the last person go. But 2v8 is a different story... After a 20 minute queue time and finally getting into the match, by the time I find my first survivor, at least 1 generator pops. Then by the time I finish the chase,

  • Self-unhooking is an often talked about subject in the game, often viewed as bad and unreliable and usually abused as a way to DC. I think me and a lot of other people would agree that it's time for a rework, so here is my idea that would also make luck a much more prevalent feature. There is now a luck percentage metre displayed in the corner of the screen. Bringing a luck offering, such as Vig

  • I swear it's impossible to survive against a good Plague on an open map. Once you're infected you're literally exposed but also groan and cough, making it so easy for her to find you. If you cleanse yourself you just make her power stronger. If the entire team is infected, then one person decides to cleanse themselves, then either all infected survivors have to cleanse themselves, giving her a lo

  • Once The Pig uses up all of her traps, she pretty much loses any pressure she had on the trial. Well what if she had unlimited, or even just a few more traps, that would spawn in her inventory one at a time, every 180 seconds, or more? I feel like this could be a really good buff for her, allowing her to delay generator progress much more efficiently and keep consistent, but not constant, pressur

  • She's at the top of A tier on most people's rankings, yet her pick rate is something like 1.5%. If people generally consider her to be a really good killer, then why do you hardly ever see her?

  • When you're the last survivor alive and get hooked, you instantly die, even if you hadn't been hooked prior to that. Do you think that you should at least get the chance to try to unhook yourself in this situation? I honestly don't see why not. Sure the killer will just chase you down straight away but you should be able to TRY.

  • Controversial I know, but I've never liked Windows of Opportunity. After playing the game for just a couple of weeks, I pretty much already knew every pallet spawn and vault location on each map. I feel so confused when I see P100 players using this perk, like, why would they need it? In my opinion, it seems like a perk for absolute beginners. Am I missing something? Anyway, which meta perks do y

  • More specifically, two of them. Low Profile and Reactive Healing both sound great on paper, but when you use them in game, you can't help but feel that they could be better. Below I'm going to state various ideas of how they could be buffed and I just want to know if you agree/disagree or think something else. Wiretap - This is a good perk. I have almost no complaints, I just think that maybe it

  • Recently (early February), the prices of auric cells increased in the Brazilian store and I haven't found anyone online talk about it. As far as I'm aware they haven't increased in America or European stores but I may be wrong. Just as an example, 1100 auric cells before were R$ 19.99 (£3.99) and now they're R$ 29.97 (£4.78). Have prices increased for anyone else?
