Just add a second offering slot designed exclusively for maps so that you can at least narrow the map down to 5 options each game with a mostly even split depending on what people and the killer will always have a 20% chance or higher to get his map of choice
What I see as wrong with this is that it would simply repeat what's happening right now: someone puts in the map they want to go to, just because they like it, and someone else, tired of going to bad maps, makes an offer to cancel any map, making it all pointless. And what I'm proposing is intended to make everyone play on an intermediate map.

Don't look at him directly. You have to center him halfway between the middle of your screen and the top of the screen.
That being said, the reveal mechanic has trouble because of client-server confirmation. Its just as problematic for ghostie.

You can even reveal him with him being behind you entirely.
They should play as Ghostface so they know his weaknesses and learn how to play against him. I used to be afraid of Leatherfaces, but when I tried them and realized how easy it is to run into things, I learned how to counter them. I play Ghostface often and I know how easy it is to reveal him. In fact, the last one I played against got disconnected.

Since BHVR announced they'll be making upcoming changes/tweaks to Ghostface in November, I thought I'd give my ideas and suggestions for changes I would like to see. For anyone who doesn't know me, I have 6700 total hours in DBD and 29,220 marked downs as Ghostface. DBD Top 15. Here are my ideas below👇️
MOST WANTED CHANGES:
-Reduce the range that hooked survivors can reveal you OR just entirely remove the ability for hooked survivors to reveal you. It's a universally known fact that it's harder to be stealthy as Ghostface on most outdoor maps, and the fact that survivors can reveal you while on a hook makes it even more difficult to sneak around the map without accidentally losing your stealth mode. It seems kind of overkill that a hooked survivor can reveal you from 32 meters away despite the fact that DBD now has an anti-camping system in place to discourage players from camping to begin with. Another alternative suggestion would be to make the "Lasting Perfume" addon basekit.
-Reduce the range that BOT survivors can reveal you. From my experience, bot survivors usually have near perfect reveal accuracy even at maximum range, and they can even reveal you through small openings. This makes playing against bots as Ghostface feel like a nightmare because of how easily they can break you out of stealth. Reducing their reveal range would make them less obnoxious to play against.
ADDITIONAL IDEAS:
-Instantly recharge 25% Night Shroud after downing/hitting a marked survivor. I think it would be cool to have some kind of Night Shroud recharge as a reward for successfully hitting/downing a marked survivor. Being able to reduce your cooldown by 25% would also encourage newer players the to use the stalking/exposing part of Ghostface's power.
-Nerf the addon "Walleyes Matchbook". This Common Rarity addon offers way too much value with absolutely no downsides and no specific activation requirements. This addon also allows many Ghostface players to get away with using hit-and-run playstyles, which can be unfun and annoying for survivors, especially on indoor maps where Ghostface already has a huge advantage. The entire point of Ghostface is to wait for the right moment to strike, and to avoid getting broken out of stealth. This addon significantly reduces the impact of losing your stealth with no downside. I think changing it to only give 2 or 3 seconds of faster recovery (instead of 6 seconds) would make it overall healthier for the game.
-Give 0.5 seconds of Exhaustion after marking a survivor. Ghostface is great at catching survivors off guard, but sometimes survivors can easily slip away if they're using an Exhaustion perk. Having 0.5 seconds of exhaustion basekit after marking a survivor would make Ghostface less reliant on perks and addons that apply exhaustion, and also reward Ghostface players who sneak up on survivors.
Those are all my suggestions and ideas I have for Ghostface. Whether the upcoming changes are buffs, nerfs, or reworks to Ghostface, I can't wait to test out the new tweaks. Thanks for reading! 👻🔪

Wow, all your ideas seemed really good to me, in fact the Walleyes Matchbook one came true. I would add that: Ghostface should not lose his power after missing a hit (that would make him more comfortable to play); and reduce the distance at which he can be revealed by a survivor in any situation (32 meters can allow someone to keep following you so you can't use your power, without being viable to be chased, which is similar to playing Trapper).

This is just going to be a list of changes I want to see for Ghostface because of good the devs are at ignoring the issue so here list of changes that I want to see
- Increased stalk distance by 2 meters
- Rework chewed pen, lasting perfume, and Olsen’s journal.
- While Ghostface is in Nightshroud he gains the a 2% haste effect, this effect is lost once revealed.
- Locker hide: Ghostface can now hide in a locker where he looses his terror radius and red stain. While in a locker Ghostface can peak out of a locker to stalk survivors a normal stalking speed, Ghostface can not be revealed while in a locker.
- Increased the time it takes to reveal Ghostface by 3 seconds.
Just thought this would be fun to do I don’t think any of these changes will happen, but aye who knows?
The idea of lockers reminded me of the stereotype of Dwights hiding in lockers, haha. If you ask me, I think what Ghostface definitely needs is: to be punished less, and reworks to most of his addons (as you mentioned); by not being punished anymore I mean not losing power for missing a hit, and reducing the distance at which he can be revealed to 16 meters maximum, since survivors can reveal you without even exposing themselves to being stalked by being behind a wall (the time it takes to reveal Ghostface I think is fine because being revealed unfairly is usually due to internet problems). Of the addons, I think most of them are useless, like the two purple ones that give exhaustion should be in one, and be green at most; Other addons I would like to see updated are the two iridescent ones, since one is the same as one of their brown addons, and the other one has a very specific condition to be able to see auras. In terms of speed, I think they should give it to them for a while when they are revealed, so that it is balanced.

usually when stalking a survivor everyone is highlighted in white. However now while I stalk survivors, many don’t get highlighted at all. It’s especially obvious When stalking several at once.
I've had the same error, I play on PS4, I played in anniversary mode, and the map was Ormond.

- We don't know for certain
- We only know what he looks like from his driver's license add-on, which shows him with white skin and black hair
- Yes
- Probably both
Thank you very much, we just have to wait for them to show more of the character, and to improve his accessories.

It would be nice if those of us on console could also change our in-game name without having to change our console ID, which can cause you to lose access to content you own.

It’s so weird that consoles already charge for an online subscription just to be able to play online games and then have something simple like a name change behind a pay wall as well 🫠
and yeah on Steam you can change your name pretty much any time, even when you are in lobby iirc you would have the changed name during the match

I think it's good that the 4% exists, although sometimes it's very disappointing because playing alone as a survivor in a game with a camping and tunneling killer never works, and when you're the killer who barely got hangs for the Endgame, the only hooked survivor What you have liberates itself without Liberation. It would be nice if as a survivor, if more than 2 engines were not repaired, and if there is a dead companion, and another dying, the probabilities of disengaging alone would increase (conditions more, conditions less). And as a murderer, it would be nice if all self-unhooking attempts were deactivated in Endgame, and the other teammates were the ones who had to risk saving.
-
They seem like good changes to me, but don't you think that the Trapper deserves to start with all his traps and be able to collect them after placing them instead of having to go all over the map collecting them and arranging them where they serve him? Even considering that he can no longer infinitely damage an engine in a 3-gen situation, which was basically his normal gameplay. In addition, the accessory that damages survivors who deactivate their traps should be basic (including the Deep Wound), since if not you are going to have someone deactivating every trap you set just for fun. Instead, they should give him an iridescent accessory more in line with the current environment, as it considerably damages the more advanced generator.
-
I've also noticed the same thing, since I almost always play alone. I like to wear: Family, Sprint, We will survive, and Deja vu; but lately I've been putting on Unbreakable and Decisive Strike to avoid the recurring tunneling and slugging I've experienced in my last few games, like a Skull Trader who did everything nefarious she can do (even slugging the last two of us, knowing where we were). , and letting us bleed to death), although it seems he did it in protest because his name was Delete Skull Merchant. And every time I try to use something I like, or complete a challenge, I get a killer that mechanically won't let me do it, like a Plague or a Hillbillly.

Like when you get the stalk meter to 99%, but don't expose them. If everybody has close to 99% stalk on them, they can all be chain downed if you have both iri addons.
'Ghostface Caught on Tape' resets your power whenever somebody goes down, 'Outdoor Security Camera' reveals all auras whenever you knock down a marked survivor.
You'll knock down one victim, get a nightshroud reset and immediately know exactly where to go to get the next one. If you use knockout with it, everybody will be blind for the entire assault, it's the deadliest thing that Ghostface can do.
It doesn't end up being very efficient, since you have to leave 99% at 4 and sometimes you can end up marking someone who was repairing next to someone you were stalking; Eventually, you'll end up wasting a lot of time looking for survivors, and you won't get hangs (Knockout isn't very efficient these days, so they'll be able to pick up the dying survivor while you chase another one). Certainly, it is better to use Ghostface with the Philly camera and the cigarette pack to be able to score quickly and have the power soon after, so I have concatenated more attacks with the power; Therefore, Ghostface does require iridescent accessories that are more tailored to the current environment (in my experience), as the game seems to force you into Premades when it sees you using both iridescent accessories.
-
I'd like to see Ghostface add some of his more useless base accessories (like the ones that increase the time it takes for a hooked or dying survivor to reveal you), and instead give them another more valuable effect. He needs good iridescent accessories, like one that punishes with vulnerability his most annoying mechanic: being revealed by someone who follows you just to annoy you. He could also use a green Shattered and Bleed accessory (most assassins have them); Another option would be to make some accessories as mini versions of their base abilities (there's already one for I'm All Ears, but it requires you to mark the survivor; I'd make it work just by having the power on, since it can easily be taken from you anyway ). At the very least, they could improve the base marking time a bit, as well as the corners you can lean on to score (currently you need to stop, and wait for the option to peek around the corner; perhaps it could automatically peek when you're close to the corner and press the Stalk button).
-
Well, I hope one day they do it, since I found his backstory very interesting, and it differentiates him from the Ghostface's of the Scream saga.

The only addons that need to be adjusted for utility are 'Victim's Detailed Routine,' 'Chewed Pen,' 'Lasting Perfume,' 'Cinch Straps' and 'Marked Map.'
When used together, the Iridescent addons allow you to chain knockdown the entire team in one fell swoop if you can get 4 99's.
Sorry, it's not clear to me what 4 99's is.

I think it's great that PH gets better accessories, like Ghostface who also has very few useful accessories. Iridescents definitely need a change as they give very little advantage, some options would be: knocking down someone with Torment causes the most advanced spawner to lose 10% progress (or something like that); Another could be that damaging someone who has Torment with M2 puts them on the ground. Other accessories could be mini versions of their base abilities, like kicking a generator will give you Undetectable for a while (not until the generator is repaired, like Path of Torment works).

All stealth killers should be regular movement speed during stealth. Ghostface, Pig and Myers.
Why? Because with reduced movement speed the killers power, stealth, makes them less effective stealth killers than literally any other killer under the Undetectable effect.
Ghostface already has the downside that he can be revealed in shroud and has a lower PoV when crouched. Amanda has the downside of a lower PoV and a delay in attacking, as she either needs to stand up or use Ambush, and Myers has no lunge in Tier 1.
Have you ever played against a Legion with undetectable? They make zero sound, absolutely zilch, and they appear from nowhere and you don't have a chance. But even under the stealth effect you can hear Ghostface and Myers coming from around 8 meters away, and Amanda, well she can walk right up to your butt and you can still get away in time.
I agree with you that the stealth assassins you mentioned should get a buff or rework, since with all the survivor abilities, the large maps and their poor powers end up giving a crappy gaming experience; and in the end you can only have good games by using strong accessories.
