I recently started playing dbd again after taking a "break" 2 years ago. But now 9 out of 10 games in "gold rank" i'm playing with people who just had played like 1 or 2 hours... As title suggests, even if the entire 15 second performance is completed, the buff falls off for all affected survivors the moment they stray 16m away from the caster. Since dbd updated it's engine, it seems to have messed with spirit's cosmetics. In particular the "Loose Shimada" piece from "Tattered Tradition" cosmetic and "Messy Maru Mage" from "The Reckoning" cosmetic. I really miss when her hair was floaty in these cosmetics and seeing them like this really ruins some of them for me, which is really dissapointing. Which are good, which are bad and which are just meh? Not sure about Dark Arrogance; faster vaulting is good without a CD but not sure about the 25% increased blind/pallet stun duration. Especially the Blind duration. I see this said a lot to justify overly comedic or non horror things in this game and it gets on my nerves more than anything. so far starters, DBD IS a horror game. It doesn't matter if it 'stops becoming scary' its still a horror game with a horror centric theme that, until last chapter, has always kept the horror centric theme. I am up to a 15 minute DC penalty because I’ve been trying to play the Chaos mode game but it repeatedly crashes in the middle of the match and shows all five players disconnected on the score screen, with a pop up message ‘dedicated server not responding’. I swear its always a cycle of buff so that the killer sells, then gets nerfed to oblivion afterwards. Vecna currently is fine. Skeletons and spheres are practically useless (skeletons can be used during unhooks, elevated surfaces like family residence and vaults but thats about it), mage hand is a 50/50 IF YOU PLAY IT CORRECTLY. I understand WHY this perk exists, but at the same time, Im questioning why this perk is even still in the game. I could run Shattered Hope for over 100 matches in normal DBD and get literally no value from it. In fact, the only time I ever got ANY value from this perk was during Chaos Shuffle… the gamemode where people CANNOT control what perks they even get. mI am constantly going against sweats and the devs should definitely focusing on nerfing how fast the gens are especially the part that they buffed tool boxes survivors have a lot of gen defense perks liek blast mine wire tap prove thyself friendly competition resilience deja vu etc it’s really nerve racking. So I'm hearing that in order to carry over your DLC characters to other platforms when cross progression comes out, you have to purchase them in-game with auric cells (which I don't even think is officially confirmed by the devs). It feels like everytime someone mentions gen repair speeds (base time, speed-ups, slowdowns) its always met with "Well it's our objective to do them and get out they shouldn't take forever" I just want games to last longer than 7 minutes so we can have some good chases. The new map is great! The new killer is a lot of fun, and I like the perks. But I do hope you revert at least some of the Chucky changes in the near future…I don't think any killer should be nerfed too harshly.
