I understand WHY they are ditching events but I will really miss them. The Chinese New Year event was enjoyable, last years Halloween event was fantastic and having no Summer event was really disappointing. Future events are going to be more akin to this years Halloween event. Which didn't even feel like event. This is my opinion Survivors are too used to thinking that looping at pallet is the only and most effective answer to against any killers. Yes, it's true sadly, majority of the killers cannot do much at safe loops except looping around it, get stunned and breaking the pallet But when you are versing nurse or spirit, accept you're in losing position. There are no accompanying buffs for the weaker killers. The good ones just get nerfed, including the top 2 killers both getting nerfed within 2 months. Even simple buffs for weaker killers are ignored. First to say, Peanits said in one thread, that if the game is not fun, it is bad for sales. That`s why survivors will be always in dev`s favor. There are 4 survivors and only one killer - that means 80% of the sales makes survivor mains. I`m talking about this because of nerfs to killers in past days. While I can understand the sentiment behind trying to prevent their resale, it bums me out that some cosmetics are being given out freely. I understand and am happy for those players who might not otherwise have had access to the cosmetics, but it has made earning them less special. For me in particular is the Huntress' Hound mask. I'll agree prayer beads is a busted as hell add on but I don't think Spirit needs nerfs beyond that. But the again bhvr loves doing things no one asked for or wanted like those nurse changes again her add on's needed changing but base kit. I think leatherface needs buffed here are a few suggestions. When you see a generator something that you normally don't have the ability to see glowing bright yellow that is a massive indication for you to stay away from it if the killer is chasing you. You are not a moth you do not need to go into the bright and glowing light. However if the killer is not on you you're more than welcome in fact honoured to actually come and help me with the gen. Has there ever been a Nerf to a killer that wasn't considered too much? because I can't think of one Whenever a killer is being nerfed, the devs just go overboard with it. I'm a survivor and I admit I never seen the killers point of view until the forums told me to really play killer and see. Last Gen done, noed kicks in, noed broken go for the one who's hurt exiting and get them and bam got this gem. Then I look at Xbox message requests and holy crap. It has more to do with how they got it, they put time into getting something that was important or cool to them. I think it is great news previously exclusive cosmetics are now available to everyone. I have been playing this game for over a year. I have some things that are not readily available to others. However, I cannot think of a single reason why I wouldn't want others to have it. So many people are flipping out that others may have things they have. But... since the Spirit is gonna be nerfed, most of the players are now gonna play more hillbilly and it's gonna look completely like from the back: Hillbilies over the next 20 matches in the row.
