So Spirit recently got hit with a couple of nerfs. And I want to voice my opinion about it. So, first off. Spirit didn't exactly need to be nerfed. I love the change for insta heals! It’s makes the game more fun as survivor and involves actual skill to survivor 16 seconds to get back to full health. But what I’ve been hearing a lot of complaining about Is ebony moris and insta downs. Now I love killers like Michael and ghost face and I love the ideas of their actual ability . I was playing Legion and for some reason this Nancy who just got off the hook broke me out of FF with a pallet, the plan was to stab her and go after someone else but kind of hard to do when she broke me out of FF...for some reason. If they're pushing away from the idea of having exclusives in the game, why are a handful of exclusives still not being given out to everyone? There are multiple Twitch streamer cosmetics (shirts, masks, etc) that aren't on the list. And why are the seasonal event cosmetics being given out? The nerf itself, as per the patch notes, was not properly implemented on the PTB (slightly less severe than intended). It seems really strange to have nerfed her cooldown add-ons when they couldn't even be properly tested (with the nerf correctly implemented). I couldn't believe my eyes when I read that earlier. On the one hand I am very happy about it, because cosmetics are always something beautiful and I really want to have the street meg. On the other hand they lose their rarity. I personally have never bought cosmetics (outside of the dbd shop), but I know a few lads that did. Especially the golden feng is extremely expensive. Ah, I see Billy is now "Over performing" Basekit is perfectly fine. To be honest. I stopped using addons after I ran out of them. I forgot how more or less busted the "insta saw" addons are. Went back and tried them out, and yeah, they could use a tone down. As a spirit main, these changes are very nitche. Windows valuting change may may cut me a few free hits, and main power is almost untoutched. Althoght colision was very important against iron will users, after this change ill end up with stridor in my kit, or simply rely more on footsteps. So ive seen in the forums people are complaining that m1 killers are always looped to hell and back and to that i say. What else could there be besides dropping pallets on killers? Because we obviously cant just run in a straight line and survive. I play on both sides and personally have fun chasing on survivor and killer side. I love out playing the opponent. Owners of exclusive items that later became easier to get got Artifact versions of the item. For example, if you got a streamer's cosmetic by using a code, it would look exactly like its counterpart in the Charity Case except for its unique purplish rarity that only you can see. She needs a tell for when she activates her power. That's honestly the biggest issue with her, lack of feedback. You gave her a vaulting animation for that very reason, but not for her power? These people litterally can scam you if they put a picture of: [Enter Limited Time Cosmetic Name Here] and put Dead by Daylight in the name. With BHVR giving away these cosmetics is basicaly giving all the old players a big middle finger. They never restored lost legacy shirts/pants/heads, because when you mail them all you get is a automatic responds wich is already a disrespect to your older players. I don't know, maybe it's just me. I think shred is good to stop some linear loops, break pallets and also for mindgames with windows BUT, I hate the fact that you can't turn your camera after the cooldown. Portals seems ok. Sometimes can be a waste of time and sometimes are good for map control. However ... I feel like Demogorgon needs something to be more idk... solid? The whole day I played survivor I was getting insane hits. Usually this insane hits happens once or twice a day. Today it's been the whole day, every hit is off and delayed. I did a quick test checking my interest connection and played some fps games (cs, cod) to narrow down the issue. It's just dbd. Personally, it’s a no for me. Aside from the grind and the longer you play the game the less you’re actually rewarded for it, is a huge turn off (i.e. devotion, ranking, etc.). So every time someone ask me if I recommend the game, I say, “no.” I don’t even say much after that. They've been broken to the point of unplayable for a month now, this is unnacceptable if you ask me. There supposedly were some fixes to them in the last patch, but they did not fix everything. You can still sometimes stalk people whom you don't see. I swear i manage to blind the killer and i also got "Killer Blind" notification but the killer won't drop pickup survivor or didn't even stun at all. So I saw many people not liking the idea to put even the event cosmetics for free for everyone. I kinda understand it, Im part of the playerbase who earned all of them and it feels weird that everyone gets them for free without doing anything. Since all exclusive skins are being given to everyone I have an idea for legacy since console players never got a chance to get them. I say every 500 hours you have in game you get 1 piece of legacy for a killer/survivor of your choice. You must have them prestige 3 before you can get any legacy on them. This is probably the only change I really don't like. I can understand wanting to decrease the strength of this add-on, but I see it as completely worthless now. Speed is incredibly important. If you cut down on the speed during phase walk you make it so she can't catch up in certain situations. Before I activated the 'stun the killer twice' challenge I got plenty of pallet stuns in my matches. Now it is active and I can't even get one stun now. I believe that the entire concept of archives promotes players to be more toxic in their games. My reasoning behind this is that I noticed a bigger spikes in people "trolling" in games. People refused to get team healed just to use self heal or bait killer at start of the game drop down every single pallet on map and then get hooked and die on first hook etc etc. I believe archive system is fla24 comments 232 views last activity
