Possible reason for the killer nerf backlash
There are no accompanying buffs for the weaker killers. The good ones just get nerfed, including the top 2 killers both getting nerfed within 2 months. Even simple buffs for weaker killers are ignored. Doctor's base range on his shock is still awful, Trapper only starts with 1 trap and a capacity of 1 with his base kit, etc. Other than the Freddy rework (which took 2 years) and buffs to new killers in the PTB, killer buffs are extremely rare. Even if you question that, it cannot be denied the killer nerf to buff ratio is very high.
