Title, imo a 3k or 4k should give the title no matter what... and if someoen escapes by hatch that also eliminate the chance of getting it thats so wrong at so many different levels, meanwhile a walk on the park to get survivor adepts, even if u lose u know u could.... u could.... u could bring a free gateaway wit ha key and guarantee it even when u did nothing all game......

I made a post not that long ago on the forums that didn't get much attention. As of patch 6.5.1 there is a bug where it doesn't count the last sacrifice when the match is practically ending. So for example you get a 4k everyone else is dead and your waiting for them to fully die so the match ends. The devout emblem and daily rituals aren't counting that kill and it isn't going to overall stats (I play on xbox I can see the amounts of kills I've had on my account). This is making adepts in iri ranks impossible to get because its not counting as a merciless killer game. It also doesn't count archive challenges like six feet under. My suspicion is it's something to do with the finishing mori update but still it troubles me why it would effect anything.

  • @Akumakaji said:

I tested this out and yes: this seems to be a consistent bug. Makes double pipping nearly impossible. Here I had a basically perfect game, I had a lot of chases that I all won, defended my gens, and yes, I downed and killed that poor Kate that had the exit gates at the 3 lights stage already ... if I wasn't this close to pipping up I would have let her go, but alas, can't risk this.

With 10 hooks or something like this I should have gotten an Iri devout emblem, but as you said: the last kill somehow doesn't register. We should drag this into the bug section.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/OE3YX678X8GW/devout-bugged.jpg

It sucks in a way but in my eyes its a minor bug I'm not too bothered about it but it also doesn't count the kill in general to your overall stats, daily rituals and of course devout emblem

It's weird how you think that people don't use a perk because they disagree with you.

Lithe used to be in all of my setups for about a year and I definitly experienced what Doodle28 stated: When you're at an unsafe pallet lithe can be great and save you, but when you're at a safe pallet it can be unpractical.

In general I think all of the exhaustion perks are good, they all have advantages and disadvantages, so in the end it depends on personal preferences and playstyles.

I also think it's a little strange that you act like you know better about perks than the rest of the community when you don't seem to know that iron will is useful for more then immersive plays.

I honestly hate the community's opinions so I tend to fight against it, Iron Will seems to be a highlight everyone Tho which, interests me

This combo is great unless killer has eyes to follow you.

That's why I hugely questioned it

  • @SurviveByDaylight said:

I’ll have to agree. Lithe is the most useful. Although one thing I think needs to be changed is hitboxes at vaults. I don’t think killers should be able to get a hit on you if you’re already through the vault and in forward motion towards your next destination. It’s kind of consistent how many times I’ll have my feet planted on the ground of the other side of a vault and as soon as I take my first step after that I get pummeled into the ground and the killer hasn’t vaulted or went around. I honestly don’t think the killer should be able to hit you at all through vaults. If he can’t get the grab then he needs to go around the 1 foot wide wall on either side of the vault 😂 it’s just ridiculous. So many times I’ve just felt deflated because killers get unfair hits off on me. This is exactly why I think getting hooked shouldn’t be a big deal therefore Mori’s need to be changed. It’s too easy to find people 😂 so it’s not that serious to have any ebony Mori. That’s Someone’s time queueing up for that match your messing with.

I'm not gonna say most of time because it's not true but lithe with fast vault speed bulid tends to beat that bug but there is rare games where it does happen.

  • @Murdle said:

Lithe is a must have on almost all my builds.

I don't use any other exhaustion perk because honestly.. They're all trash compared to Lithe.

With the exception of deadhard of course but you only gain a small amount of distance from the killer and it's not like the cooldown is any better than Lithe.

I'm glad I mained Feng min to start off with.

    You and me both dude

  • @Chmurkaz said:

Lithe is very nice perk, but in my opinion the worst from all exhaustion perks.

Most of times it Just activate when you're in a safe position, others allow you to get to this position,Sprint along side gaining distance at the beginning of a chase can be also manipulated to use it durning chase (by keeping exhaustion at 1sec cooldown)

Head on also is propably one of the best basement escape perks after borrow.

Deadhard allows you to do almost anything you want with it (literally) only downside is that you need to be injured to use it which makes it most of time useless against instadown killers.

The thing is you never use lithe so you don't know how rare the issue is with it, with head on I rarely come across a situation like that so the turning point I can use against head on for lithe is the amount of usage that's it because there both very different perks but both have the same cooldown

  • @Milo said:

I like every exhaustion perk tbh. Although i never was a fan of SB, im too stoopid to use it.

Oh also DH cause nowadays i always end up on the ground exhausted...

See that's the issue with dead hard when it doesn't work its like it was never used to begin with

  • @Zaitsev said:

Lithe is amazing. Only problem is, Dead Hard. Thats it. Dead Hard can be used anytime, which is why sweaty rank ones use it.

Head on, while fun, is def the worst exhaustion perk

Lithe and dead hard are the best two for me

  • @GoodBoyKaru said:

Okay so here's my opinions in response as to why I believe lithe is the worst exhaustion perk in the game:

Lithe gives you a 150% speed boost (allowing you to move at 6m/s) for 3 seconds, similar to Sprint Burst or Balanced Landing. However the reason I believe it to be worse than these two is because it activates when you don't need it to.

Lithe activates after vaulting a window or pallet. If you're vaulting a dropped pallet it's probably safe and you don't want to leave. Most of the time vaulting a window is usually safe, and means you're already at a loop. The 150% boost is best to make distance and GET to a loop in the first place. That's why Sprint Burst is so useful; you make 1.4m of distance every second for 3 seconds against most standard killers (4.2m extra distance overall than if you didn't have it). It's the same with balanced landing, when you drop from a high place you want to make distance ASAP. Balanced let's you do this. Also it has the added bonus of the stealth factor to it now so you no longer make noise while dropping from a height.

Adrenaline can single-handedly win games. I've had matches where I don't survivor and it's a useless perk. On the flip side I've had matches where its saved my life and I would've died without it, or the life of a teammate. I think it's overrated, yes, but there's no changing its a good perk. A free health state, wake up, and 7m of free distance? (1.4*5)? Yes please.

Head On. Now I know a lot of people hate this perk, or think it's useless, but hear me out. Head On's use doesn't come from the physical use, but the psychological one. If you stun a killer with head on once, they may be mildly annoyed, which will increase as you get stunned more often. They get paranoid and waste time checking lockers, allowing you to sneak away. In addition, if you're good at being chased then tilting the killer to want to chase you is a great benefit to your team.

Dead Hard is unrivalled in terms of its usage. You get free i-frames, free distance, and the added bonus of having everyone cry "God damn Dead Hard!" like Farmer John. You extend loops, avoid hits, make plays, it's just a really useful perk. Combine it with iron will and you're sorted.

Lithe isn't a bad perk, it's just outshone by every other exhaustion perk in my honest opinion. But hey, if you wanna use lithe, go right ahead. I'll stick to being a Certified HeadOn™ user.

See the thing is you don't use lithe so you wouldn't know how much the pallet looping issue would happen which is why I didn't address it

DS has been nerfed, what, twice now? It's still the strongest survivor perk in the game. It's literally game breaking since survivors have a whole minute of invincibility, potentially allowing them to gens while injured and otherwise unsafe stuff like that.

There are 2 different ways this affects how killers play.

    1) A killer will get 0k-2k because half the time he downed someone, they still had DS and he had to play around it so he left them to chase someone else, allowing them to get healed back to full for free. He ends up 2-hooking everyone as a result and loses. This isn't fun for either side.

    2) The killer decides to play by his rules and slugs everybody for the guaranteed 4k. Yes: DS, I think, is responsible for the rise of slugging. Even this strategy has a counter in Unbreakable or even No Mither. But if the killer is good enough, even the Unbreakables won't be able to save the survivors. This isn't fun for either side.

There's quite a few perks on the survivor side that I have a problem with, but DS takes the cake. I think it's on the same level of overpowered as pre-nerf Mettle of Man, but people are used to it so they make an exception. Perks that punish the killer for doing their objective should be destroyed or reworked. But since that won't happen, I'm left with ZERO hope for this game. If I don't enjoy myself when Deathslinger comes out, I'll probably just quit.

    No

  • @underlord99 said:

can someone explain to me why so many red rank survivors like to self care in a corner of the map? wouldnt it be more efficient if you were healed by someone else ?

I don't run self care but the one time I had to cause I was playing Dwight I tend to find it really efficient at endgame or when your teammates are being complete Di cks. Self care is also good for distance because you can 99 your heals the only disadvantage I see with self care is when dropping pallets Idk If this is just an xbox issue but it's something.

But yeah I find self care a bit over looked I can see why people run it but no one ever runs it for the right reasons.

The only time I´ve ever used No Mither was during the last tome, I used it to get the This Is Not Happening skill checks. Took two games to get it done since I died the first game and escaped the second against a Ghostface. So in my case, once. X3

Have fun there's a challenge where YOJ need to escape with no mither

  • @MysticMusician said:

Well I think the most I've escaped in a row is 3-4 times so I don't think this would go too well for me lol. I would give it a shot though

Most I've escaped in a row is 9 and me and my friend did this by accident and looked back on what we did to find that we escaped 9 times without knowing and last game we just dropped every pallets and did terrible 360's so Uhh, could've gone a lot further 😂😂😂

Don't bring in DS, it's bugged and doesn't work every now and then, Doc is being used a lot, he's really fun to play as and against now (Thanks Devs) and if you wanna counter himm 100% just bring in Clam Spirit, it's OP against Doc right now.

You already have the event charms btw, check them out.

The Doc is the God of Speed now, but he has a really small reach so use that info to your advantage wether you're him or a survivor against him

They will most likely do something for the Lunar New Year, though, which is in late January. My guess would be a Blood Hunt, themed Rift cosmetics, and maybe the return of lunar generators and hooks if we're lucky, like they did for Halloween this year.

It looks like the rift is gonna end in 2 weeks or more so that's probably their main focus at the moment.

The Trapper is in My Opinion The Most Balanced Killer in The Game...

Seems Pretty Balanced To Me, Addons Kind Of Take That Away, Almost Invisible Traps Which Are Pretty Much To Constant That Survivor's Step in Them and Idk About You Guys But The Ultra Rare Addon That Opens A Closed Trap Every 30 Seconds I Find Tolarable...

My Only Complaint on Trapper in A Survivor Perspective is The Traps Can End Up Being To Closed into Spaces Which Prevent Many Options For Survivor's in Game, Which is Why My Opinion is Decrease The Default Traps To 7, Therefore The Survivors Have More Things To Work With...

My Only Complaint on Trapper in A Killers Perspective is The Start Of The Game, You Have To Place Traps Around The Map And Approximately 1 to 2 Gens Get Done Once You Have Finished Which is Also Why I Say Decrease The Traps So It's Not Only The Fact That it Benefits The Survivor it Also Benefits The Killer in Some Way...

Let's See What You Say About This...

Survivors not healing under hooks, doing gens while injured, actually making safe saves. Its like overnight since the patch every survivor I have faced was like. OH YEAH this is how we win, and this is how we play good and every game has been impossible without playing super sweaty or using a high tier killer like spirit.

And before you make that comment "GeN rUsHiNg IsNt A tHiNg" It is, and basically it just means survivors are treating just like their main objective. What is surprising for most survivor mains to realize is not every game do survivors treat gets and their main objective, especially with the archives, they either have their own mission or before the archives they just played to mess around with the killer or just to get chased by the killer. Countless games I can count survivors ignored gens and that is the reason why killers are actually good.

When survivors actually treat the game as step 1 do gens, step 2 escape. Not only does that make all but 4 killers viable without some insane add ons and/or a mori it makes the game un fun for both side.

Killer side: You got gen rushed, maybe killed 1 person at the end because they were abandoned or you had to camp them out. Yay, you did like 3 chases the whole game.

Survivors side: You either were the survivor who got abandoned/camped or you held M1 and left. Yay... fun...

This is why DbD is fundamentally broken and survivor sided if survivors actually treat the game the way its "meant to be played".

If you are a killer main in this struggling time, I suggest if you want to play and actually win, use spirit or billy with some ok to good add ons. If you want to play any other killer, bring a mori and sweat your balls off.

If you are a survivor main, ask yourself if you are actually having fun in your games, whether if holding m1 and leaving is really good gameplay, if you don't think it is fun, come join the killers in complaining about the game to maybe 1 day have BHVR actually make gens fun and make the gameplay compelling, if you don't want to do that, start messing around. Find the killer and loop with them, play around with the other survivors, do some archive stuff, just do literally anything other than find gen, hold m1, finish gen, repeat till gens are all done, then leave. Its boring for both sides when survivors play like this (Which proves that survivors are the real power role of the game)

Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk, I look forward to reading all the wonderful respectful non bias comments.

I have noticed most of Thoughs things but no the healing under hooks.

To many Survivor are shown what go do through Videos on YouTube and different streams. I was watching a noob3 stream and he was Gen rushing so I guess that's where thag has come from I came across another video of someone trying go get Survivor's to heal under hooks and yeah I get your point.

This new way Survivor's have learned to try and escape has not made it fun for Killer games it's almost like every game you play it's 4 swf games where one distracts the killer the rest gets the gens done.

Honestly Survivor's might take this to far where it becomes really unfair for Survivor and super easy for the Killer. Survivor's might take this that far that the dev's will end up breaking the game.

    Examples

    - increasing the time to do gens

    - decreasing the amount of gens that Spawn in One trial

    - Survivor's will need toolboxes in order to do gens now

It may not go that far but you see where I'm coming from.
