If someone DCs, count it as 3 hook stages (score and BP wise) unless they have been hooked before (in this case just give them the remaining hook stages, if they were hooked once give them 2 more hook stages and so on).
If all 4 survivors DC, give the killer a Merciless with all scores and BP points.
These 2 changes would make getting Adept challenges easier since if a survivor DCs you don't automatically lose your Adept and it would also make losing your pip for survivors DCing non-existent.
Adept Huntress
80% of players have this
-
Yeah I feel like this sounds better than sort of "forcing" a playstyle onto people through nerfs or buffs etc..

Even something equivalent on their side. For all killers - most chase music for killers are lame.
yeah I never got why, they intentionally make the music loud anyways
-
@Sinister0208 said:
Question is how long did it take to make and why isn't it already in the game.
I mean the chase music makers are practically begging for it to be put in but I don't think they're comfortable with putting fanmade music in the game.
Regardless it's a breathtaking track and maybe they have a change of mind

Yooo it's so intense and scary

Have you seen all the Ultra Rares lately for Killers, they’re complete crap.
It's because of the new balance team they got, the veteran devs aimed for simplicity in addons and perks and something that would benefit you throughout the entire match, without having to combine the addons with a build.
@slim0b said:
Title, in the red ranks at least.
Here I'll go first for my main demoboy
These are very rare:
Vermilion Webcap: extra ONE SECOND of undetectable
Lifeguard Whistle: exhausted for FIVE seconds when you touch an active portal.
While these are common:
Rat Tail: Halves time to open a portal
Rat Liver: you walk same speed as survivor in shred rather than 92%
All the haemorrhage/blindness crap below are very rare.
While this is an uncommon
- Moderately increases Rites of Judgement Power duration.

I'd rather they stay common. I can't stand playing demo without Rat Liver.
Yes, I'm not saying the commons should become the very/ultra-rares.
I'm saying the very/ultra-rares should do something significant compared to the commons/uncommons.

This is OP's point though, you respond with "well the way you described side X is much worse than side Y" You can't even ask for less tribal bs without what you say being analysed and the response being "you're clearly an X main tho"
You tried OP, it's a noble cause but possibly a futile one :)
haha cheers

As someone who equally plays on both sides. All I can really say here is both sides equally have crazy people.
yeah maybe I haven't worded my thread in the best way to please both sides, but there can be cuunt killers who slug 4 people till the end of the match for a bleedout, camp aggressively on first hook knowing it isn't a swf, tunnel the weaklings out of the game, play forever freddy.
Just don't respond to toxicity with toxicity is all I ask, and hopefully this would affect your opponent making him feel bad for a change or question his game choices.
-
@BigBrainMegMain said:
You're assuming all survivors are a SWF.
And you want to call peace between survivors and killers? You're painting killers as Martyrs and survivors as #########.
I'm a solo survivor and a killer main, both sides are equally toxic to each other.
I really am not, it was just simply the best way to put it because a killer controls the flow of the game.
It's just that is easier for a killer to be a scumbag than a solo survivor.
Survivors who only play solo were never complained about by anyone anyways, I didn't feel the need to give bad sportsmanship examples because its almost impossible to be a bad sport when you play solo.
-
Yeah if you look at pop goes the weasel
1-Upon hooking a survivor
2- Then damaging a gen
You get your reward of 25% regression
But this has 5 requirements, and it gives you a mere 8%[6 seconds]
And it isn't very common you're within 32m of 2+ gens that have been actively worked on

The funny thing is, like with ruin they'll look at hillbilly pick rates, see they've decreased tremendously and say "We're pretty happy with what we've achieved."
But that's not because "made him balanced", no not at all. It's cause you made him unplayable.
This ^

You lose charges chainsawing, you lose no charges walking

Nah I like him the way he is. The only buff I would accept is make yellow windstorm basekit so you can play other builds besides windstorm wraith.
@mostlyghostly said:
The wraith is just so unviable at rank 1, I've been trying to play him because I like playing weak killers but he just gets gen rushed. Maybe make the bone clapper base kit? Please :'(
If either of these 2 add-ons become basekit he becomes viable, it shouldn't be hard to implement and is certainly not unbalanced

I really can't stand people making assumptions before they even got to play the updated killers.... Just wait and see, is that so hard?
He makes a valid point, go watch a curve compilation ALL OF THEM rev for a ton of time.
You'll see he's right
-
Yeah after watching the vids it's evident how curving in loops will become non existent from this point on.
rip double engraving billys you will be missed
-
It's been there since the 4.0.0 release and was acknowledged in the bug reports section, wait it out i guess
-
Yes i know she already has 1 at startup, thats why i said 1 extra since a full corrupt will get you 3 downs at max against decent survivors
-
Well done, maybe also make the yellow apple (1 extra startup corrupted pool) basekit for the plague?
Mainly anything to make her get corrupt during match more often because survivors who never cleanse are a disaster.
Or maybe, add this
For every 80 seconds survivors don't cleanse, and there's at least 2 survivors afflicted with maximum infection, a random pool becomes corrupt
-
So you'd rather make terrible perks viable than whine about the meta ones? You're clearly in the wrong subforum son
-
I mean devour hope is obviously good on any killer, but as sewer said if he has no mobility he won't be able to defend it effectively.
A better build would have sloppy, nurse's calling, BBQ/Thrilling, and a gen delay perk (Idk about new ruin so maybe Pop)
-
Happened to me on PC on the PH update, wait for a fix :(
-
Even if they let go of a gen
Why would they?
It serves as a tracking perk with the EXACT same benefits as BBQ. No killer in the red ranks actually uses it to "block" gens.
Unless you give them a reason to (like doc static blast, then instantly pick up) it's just gonna be the same thing as BBQ.
-
It's funny how half the whining on this forum could simply be avoided if you look at the issue from both sides.
In short, if the killer camps you throughout the match he's throwing the game away and giving your team a free win.
In detail, if this killer camps you, and tunnels you throughout the game.
Given he's the average killer and you're the average you'll probably waste 45 seconds before getting downed by him. But why in god's name would he camp you for wasting average 45s? You must have taken like, at least 100 secs of chase time for him to be this bitter. But I'll just assume he's had a bad day in these calculations. 50s chase time
If he decides to camp you on first hook, lt's 60 seconds per phase, 2 minutes total. The 3 other survivors could each do a gen each, and the quarter of another gen (20 seconds taken to go to the next gen)
He's wasted a total of 170 seconds on you, almost 3 minutes. EACH survivor can get 2 gens done in 170 seconds and pretty much by the time he's done camping you every single gen would have been done (Oh, and the 3 survivors didn't even get a 1st hook).
By camping as killer, you throw the entire game away and end up with a 1k (loss). By getting camped as survivor, and decide not to be a dickhead and suicide, you're giving your team a free win hence making that miserable camping killer lose. Think about it, you're the winner at the end of the day.
It's not a real issue as far as this goes, and implementing more anti-tunelling perks than the ones that already exist would simply break the game furthermore especially in SWFs. Take the free win and move on.
-
If the killer was so desperate to move to the furthest side of the map from him (where the cages spawn by the game), then continue to tunnel you, you should have had at least 3 gens done by then, it's like a facecamping bubba, you're helpless.
-
It does work, maybe try doing it quicker?
-
Ok happened AGAIN today (in almost all matches), but here's something i noted, when I got stunned I was able to do it. And Another time I had to hold bloody fury button for like a good while.
-
Can confirm PC Steam.
-
Just happened to me at least 4 times today and I ABHOR IT, please prioritize this in the upcoming hotfix thx <3
-
He's an A once you start to mindgame his punishment to use it effectively.
It's more of a matter of when to use it rather than how to use it. But still, this chase shutter still lacks mobility so very vulnerable to survivors who play gens in an organized way.
-
Yeah rat liver is also pretty much a must at red ranks and its a common addon anyways so why not.
-
@Deadeye said:
Yes, it is possible, if you have a free day and the time to do so. Just play another killer with BBQ and BPS, or for example I got like 50 gruesome gateaus on my GF and Myers left as well, both have BBQ tier 3. So you get like 75-90k BP in many games.
With all my saved BP and double shrine I got Pyramid Head to 50 and Cheryl to 40, and I got all the good addons to use them. If you want to just prestige, you gonna focus on brown bloodweb items, so getting to P2 Pyramid head would have been possible for me too if I go for cheap webs and don't level Cheryl.
Needing just another ~1,3 million for P3 or 2,6 million for P3-50 (with cheap bloodwebs) which would be like 30 games with BP booster, which is like 10 hours of gameplay. And you don't know if the player had challenges left from the last 2 tomes
Another note: Having 4 good perks on tier 3 doesn't mean the killer is level 150. The build you wrote would not be the meta build for Pyramid Head, so I think he just took perks that he already got leveled up.
Yet another note: I got several party streamers from other players as well, who probably also wanted to level up faster. So this reduces the needed time as well
Yup I take back what I said completely forgot about boosters
-
@Humanarian said:
When it comes to the Perks, I honestly think the better solution would be removing them from the Blood Web entirely and putting them in a separate section of the in-game store where a player could spend Blood Points to buy and update the Perks they actually want instead of having to suffer through getting tons of random Perks in the Blood Web they will never even use.
I know why the same thing canNOT be applied to Add-Ons and Offerings. Because if it would be, then everyone would just spam Iridescent things. But I see absolutely no reason why it couldn't be applied to the Perks.
This would make life 10x easier not sure if they'll wanna add it tho idk, but I easily agree with this nobody should be forced to mow through a ######### ton of useless perks like monstrous shrine / zanshini tactics etc...
-
If he grinded for around 15 hours straight then yeah it is. But I mean I think it depends on how early the post was to release.
-
He hacked, even if you have 1 million BP it still can't afford you to get prestige thrice and still have T3 perks.
Lvl 1-30 takes an average of 28k to level up (per level)
Lvl 30-50 takes an average of 50k to level up (per level)
(28k*30 + 50k*20) * 3
= 5520k
That's 5,520,000 Bloodpoints to reach P3. (Additional to the T3 perks you mentioned in in the P3)
So no, the BP cap is 1 Million, and even if you completed like 40 tomes (they average at 30k), that's an additional 1,200,000 BP.

I've only played Spirit twice and got a 3k and a 4k. I'm a Rank 1 Killer player.
I just slapped on Stridor, BBQ and Pop and was good to go. She doesn't really have any learning curve. If you're good with standard 115 Killers and looping, Spirit won't be anything new at all. It's basically mindgaming except the Killer has all the control and the Survivors are the ones guessing.
It's just crazy to me that Spirit is so strong, yet so unbelievably easy to pick up and play. Killers like Nurse and Billy I can't do anything with. But Spirit piece of cake. Survivors will literally give you free downs and hits if you stand still. It's easier to get hits with Spirit's power than Legion's Power and you can down Survivors and don't have a fatigue
The fact that you've only played her twice only proves furthermore you have no idea what you're talking about. Try going against an organized SWF or people who actually know how to counter her.
The thing about spirit is that most survivors cant be arsed to learn how to counter her and often panic because of her guessing game, they start running like maniacs and their scratch marks cause their demise.
Try stealth perks, a survivor who uses iron will and actually finds a good spot to hide is a pain in the arse for every killer, but specifically for her. Spirit killers WANT you to loop her and keep running around, but again, like nurse, since she completely breaks the looping meta survivors keep whining about how OP she is (until they learn how to counter).
-
Use whatever suits you lad, it differs from what one's being accustomed to and his or her mouse's DPI. I run default 50 on both but just don't alter sensitivity a lot cause it's like a factory reset to muscle memory.
-
For the "Grab 2 survivors off gens while using the perks discordance in a single match one", honestly play friendly farm. Impossible to do this in the red ranks even with stealth killers.
-
Any more ideas?
-
These "tiers" solely exist to increase the grind which is already terrible enough, but that's not the only issue
1- Inconsistent tiers across most of the perks (Such inconsistency can cause newer player to immediately assume a perk is awful from only seeing the first tier)
Example:
Enduring: Reduces the duration of pallet stuns by 40/45/50%
Now most people wont even notice the difference between the 40-50% until they play a while, so you will find lots of new killers going for this perk.
On the other hand
Bamboozle: Your vault speed is 5/10/15 % faster.
Performing a vault action calls upon The Entity
to block that vault location for 8/12/16 seconds.
Now 5% faster vault speed and blocked for 8 seconds sounds terrible. 5% is barely noticable and 8 seconds can be finished in a full loop around the shack. I'd easily say any person who encounters the tier 1 perk would simply avoid it.
But tier 3, 15%, 16 seconds, 3x the boost and 2x the vault. This difference is MASSIVE and I'm sure if the new players instantly saw it at tier 3 they would go for it.
Same thing for play with your food, a max of 9% speed boost at T1 compared to 15% speed boost at t3, almost double difference.
2- Most new players do not even know what tiers until being told after some time
I myself never knew what the dashes on the top right of a perk are until 150 hours when I was told by a friend, and I know for a fact that a lot of people still don't know what the dashes are
3- The more the teachables you have, the harder it will be to find the perks you want, discourages variety.
I for myself have every killer teachable unlocked now, and almost half survivor. And I can't stress this enough of how much I'm tired of seeing Zanshin tactics, cruel limits, territorial imperative, and other useless perks always pop up in the bloodweb 3 times EACH.
Some people would say "Ok just don't buy the teachables lol", but if you don't buy the teachables, they pop up every single time in your bloodweb on that killer.
So when you have 1 less perk slot taken up by this teachable perk in each bloodweb you get, the chances of getting that perk you want on that killer literally halves.
4 - There are already items which increase the grind
Offerings for BP% increase per category. The 100% increase costs 5000 and gives you 8000 AT MAX PERFORMANCE IN THAT CATEGORY.
You're gonna be losing BP from them almost all the time, and I'm certain people have tens of these common BP% / Category offerings in their inventories.
I'd love to see these removed or give 100/150/200 and hopefully the devs listen if they already have the "reduce the grind" on their to-do list as said.
-
The way I use Surge is to give myself area pressure that would normally consume my time by wandering over to it, kicking it and then going for the pick-up/next chase.
When you wander over to it and kick it, its quite a while before the survivors get back on it, surge is just a minor inconvenience and as soon as it explodes they'll just keep repairing. So you'll need to put pressure on the gen either way.
-
1- Lack of killers, especially red rank killers (this point is obvious)
2- SWF (green ranks can SWF with red ranks and so on)
3- Outdated system (as @Fibijean explained above)
-
Reduce movement speed huh, my white naked ass.
Use the glass bead addon on the map for marking.
-
@Belzher said:
This one is annoying for sure, it took me like 4 tries to get, but man, the grab challenge is way worse, it just doesn't work with dedicated servers. The animation happens but the survivor just run away.
For sure, it's frustrating how half the time you try and go for a grab your character just little puts his hand on the survivor's shoulder. Honestly for ridiculous challenges like this just play BP farm and eventually you'll get 2 grabs.

It was just tips for everyone I know there's lots of other red rankers out there it was just assurance for killer tip takers, there's no need for toxicity.
