A book about the history and legends of Silent Hill and the surrounding area. Survivors affected by Rites of Judgement suffer from the Oblivious status effect until injured or put into the dying state, or free of Torment.0 comments 11 views last activity

I’ve had a handful of Clown matches today where it’s reached endgame, and after the next person I’ve downed, quickly noticed (or predicted) other nearby survivors either waiting for a flashlight save or possibly follow me to the hook. I injure them, they realise their mistake, and bolt for the gate switch they’ve 99%. Except they never make it in time to get the gate opened.0 comments 51 views last activity

Nothing works against survivors during these time periods. No matter which killer, no matter which strategy is employed, no matter how loops are run or mind-gamed, I’m just spinning my wheels in place. Why is this game designed in a such a way whereby experienced, coordinated teams make this game 100% impossible as killer?! Literally!!!62 comments 2,831 views last activity

I am so god damn sick of every friggin loop being a COMPLETE waste of Plague’s time because it takes FOREVER to get survivors to drop the ######### pallet, thus making EVERY ######### loop a complete waste of Plague’s time if the survivors know what they’re doing. How did the devs NOT see this as a problem?! Plague’s instadown doesn’t mean anything if it takes 3 gen repairs worth of chase time58 comments 781 views last activity

Only noticed since crossplay: why does PC allow such hateful, profane, discriminatory profile names?Never before cross play on PS4 had I seen so many profile names ranging from inappropriate to downright appalling and hateful. I’m just guessing it’s PC via logical deduction because PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo have pretty thorough profanity filters, and a user has to get very creative and abstract in order to bypass those respective profanity filter. And even then they’re usually easy to re132 comments 2,741 views last activity

Babysitter: I like that when I do a hook save I can know immediately whether it’s safe to heal at the hook, or immediately leg it because I can see the killer returning, so I’ll make sure I run in an OPPOSITE direction to whoever was unhooked to lead the killer away from them. Players ask “why bother using this instead of BT?!”, and I ask “Why not use both?” If the killer insists on camping, I ca5 comments 191 views last activity

My eyes are bleeding from seeing all the “tHaNa WaS nErFeD!!” claims. Has everybody forgotten that Thana is DESIGNED around encouraging/tricking survivors into healing more frequently?! We need to go back to understand Nurse, and all 3 of her perks. As absurdly powerful as Blinks are, its indisputable that Nurse will have a much easier time hitting stationary targets with Blinks rather th71 comments 6,731 views last activity

It’s supposed to give an audio notification when someone enters the basement when outside of 32m from the basement entrance (the same sound that Alert & Premonition give). The perk currently does not do this and needs to be fixed.4 comments 51 views last activity

Look I get it. Things needed to be done on the killers side to address Hexes being cleansed far too early and fast. But now it’s going in the opposite direction of being far too oppressive, especially on some of the newer/reworked maps. Trying to deal with Ruin, Lullaby, plus Undying altogether on somewhere like Lery’s as a solo player, EVEN when running a map or small game is next to impossi22 comments 421 views last activity

It’s bad enough that SWF have free reign to piss away gens every time somebody else is in a chase. But that almost every fricken survivor can make every loop last forever, even when the killer is running it the “right” way, because the survivor always know where you’re going/looking is absurd! Spine Chill needs to be WAY more conditional than it currently is. Anything in the killers arsenal that43 comments 761 views last activity

Your presence alone instils great fear. Survivors within your Terror Radius suffer from inefficiency. Affected survivors’ item consumption rates, perk cool downs, and negative status effects are increased by 100%. So my idea is to retain the original effect of survivors only getting half use from an item within the TR, but also introduce additional debuffs. Just used Q&Q? That will reco5 comments 61 views last activity

Yes, even Pop. It was never necessary to change it from its original 30 seconds to begin with. Cruel Limits though... I just don’t see 32m being much more helpful. It’s the activation conditions that are sucky. It’s funny. Before the Stranger Things chapter having a gen finished in my face was a common occurrence. Now it happens once in a blue moon, even less than that when I do give current Cr27 comments 411 views last activity

What do you reckon? I’m doubtful of any further killer reworks, but it would be great if the mysterious “we’re not done with Clown yet” comment meant for additional tweaks this mid chapter. Do you think more graphical updates for other realms will be ready? Perk changes/reworks?21 comments 211 views last activity

Plague has been my 3rd main since her release, but I’ve gradually played her less and less over time, for good reason. She’s almost always perpetually bugged. From her headpiece getting her stuck in doorways, to Purge arcing in strange ways, it’s always something. One thing gets fixed, and another bug pops up. The varying degrees of lag since dedicated servers. This combined with the slow ve39 comments 961 views last activity

At tier 3, even at 5 tokens it only extends survivor cleaning time from 14 seconds to 18.2 seconds, and diminishes as totems are cleansed. As a Hex that’s intended to help you protect other Hexes, in many cases the notification it gives off still doesn’t provide enough time on some maps to actually intervene and do something about it. Should it be buffed? Extend cleansing time more? Have an15 comments 131 views last activity

I just played a game messing around as Trapper (I don’t play him much). I was not having a particularly great game. I finally had a survivor step into trap hidden in a patch of grass, and instead of just grabbing them from the trap, I downed them. Big mistake. The survivor was immediately gone. They hadn’t DC’d. They were just gone. I’m searching and listening, spamming the “pick up” button,0 comments 51 views last activity

I’ve had my fun with Blight, but no other killer feels as “right” in my hands as Clown. Far too many times as Blight where I’ve come up short and I’ve thought “if I were playing Clown right now...” I can cut survivors off between tiles (or restrict options) and get hits in just like Blight, BUT i’m not restricted in my ability to hit the survivor. Clown’s power is more dangerous than Blight49 comments 891 views last activity

Why?! Why do these pointless “more points in deviousness” add ons exist?! It’s not like it’s particularly difficult to max out deviousness points. If it were post game bonus points then this would be a different story. But why willingly completely neuter your own power for no real reward?! And Placebo Tablet is the absolute worst of these types of add ons.18 comments 441 views last activity

Yeah, ok, all killers have good maps and bad maps, but in Blights case the swamp maps present a significant handicap that basically guarantees a win is handed to the survivors on a silver platter. PLEASE! RAISE! THE DAMN! CAMERA!!!13 comments 521 views last activity

I was just in a game running tier 3 Empathy against a Leatherface running Knockout and I could NOT see dying survivors auras until I got within Knockout’s regular ranges. Edit: I was also NOT afflicted with aura blindness.13 comments 161 views last activity

Should this game simply move to a respawn mechanic? I get why the hooks exist as a horror trope, and as a nod to the influences that led to the implementation of them into this game. But when we look at the vast list of complaints coming from both sides, most of those can be linked all the way back to the hook system. What if after a down the survivor instead “dies”, and a timer starts where95 comments 5,671 views last activity

”ALL THE INFO I NEED” - Open Handed, Bond, Visionary, and WoO. Lets me see all I need at perfect ranges. Can always know where a chase is even when I DON’T see the chased survivors aura. I can know where my escape options are, and never accidentally run into pallet dead zones. And Visionary is touted as a beginner perk, but I LOVE being able to always plan which gens to jump onto to avoid the t21 comments 601 views last activity

Don’t dismiss Slam duration add ons. They teach patience, and to remain calm while practicing BlightThese add ons will obviously become redundant once feeling confident with Blight, but as a means of getting used to practicing Blight, these add ons are great. Personally one of the early troubles I had with Blight was a sense of “panic” during rushes and slams. Too itchy with my trigger finger, and so chaotically bouncing around the place without truly knowing where I’m going, all for the sak5 comments 431 views last activity

Oh the amusement. Oh the irony. I previously ranted that Blight was frustrating, far too difficult, didn’t make sense, and “why bother?!”. Like I just didn’t see the point to Blight at all, and 99% of matches were miserable the first few days. I don’t know why I persisted despite really disliking him and not having any fun at all. But I’m glad I did persist. He’s just incredible to play no54 comments 681 views last activity

At least the word “rework” wasn’t used. But I do feel the same apprehension as when they first announced the Freddy rework. Yeah, ok I’m happy with the Freddy rework, but I miss playing old Freddy A LOT. I honestly don’t feel like Clown needs many changes. He’s just simply under appreciated and underrated. Any dramatic changes to how his core power will work will just totally piss me off.32 comments 401 views last activity

Unpopular Opinion: it makes sense why Blood Favour is a Hex, and it’s a GOOD thing that it is a Hex.Now that I’ve started to get some valid use out of Blood Favour, whereby I can say chases were successfully ended because a pallet was blocked, here are some thoughts on the perk, and WHY it’s good that it’s a Hex. It’s been said a lot that because of it’s cool down, it’s too weak to be a Hex. I beg to differ. From the survivor perspective if this perk were NOT a hex, so if they’re having to de50 comments 1,081 views last activity

The masochist in me had me persist with Blight a few more hours today. I’m getting used to him and actually having some enjoyable matches. One match in particular where Blood Favour helped me end 4 separate chases really quick stands out for today. Not sure i’d main him yet or not, and surprisingly I really don’t like compound seven. I feel it hinders me rather than helps me. I’ll persist a9 comments 152 views last activity

You do realise that when you’re an obvious SWF with one player using a key, and another with a map (of course it’s a rainbow map), you’re basically telling the killer “don’t ready up”, “don’t bother trying” You already have a distinct advantage with your comms, 4 times DS, 4 times Unbreakable, 4 times BT. probably an OoO on one of you. So why encourage lobby dodge by also having a key and a map8 comments 181 views last activity
