Shadowborn should be a FOV slider setting to adjust the killer FOV between 87 (the current default) and 103 (the amount with Shadowborn). Shadowborn, and Monitor & Abuse's FOV increase would receive reworks. This is necessary as some people quite literally are forced to use this perk to avoid getting a migraine just from playing.0 comments 11 views last activity

For example, the Coldwind Realm maps make seeing auras almost a nightmare if you’re not viewing it against a darker backdrop such as a building, especially for the typical orange-red auras that most perks and effects grant. Please do something about this. Eg a small black bubble or outline behind the aura or something so it can be seen regardless of the map background colors/lighting.3 comments 11 views last activity

Hug tech looks flashy. It has the benefit of being able to use less Rushes. The downsides are that it is significantly less weaker and tremendously easier to counter than bump logic. All it takes to counter hug tech (and any other form of intentionally designed sliding) is to just leave the surface, and Blight will slide past you. So trying to patch it in the first place just seems like a waste53 comments 451 views last activity

There is never, ever a valid excuse to say slurs, threaten violence, or encourage suicide over a video game. Frankly, this being implemented as a rule will not affect anyone who is a decent human being. If you are concerned about being banned over this, you are the problem. Be a better person. On several occasions, you have stated that hiding and refusing to attempt to repair generators while the hatch has not spawned (thus making it impossible to start Endgame Collapse) is against the rules because it is refusal to participate in normal gameplay and holding the game hostage. Nurse's time period is likely from around the 1900s. This following outfit is from around 1898 and became popular in the early 1900s. Below is Nurse for comparison. The ping wheel has a small cooldown (1-3s or so) to prevent spamming. Survivors can choose to mute a specific survivor's pings if it's getting ridiculous even so/if they're clearly pinging uselessly or false info. The ping wheel options are entirely preset messages, to prevent problems from letting users define their own messages. Examples: "Killer is camping"/"Killer is away"/"Heal me"/"Hex1 comments 11 views last activity

Immature teammates trying to suicide on hook? Nope, not today bucko. To suicide on hook, they have to ignore two struggle skillchecks in a row. Guess what Reassurance prevents from appearing? Also, 1 person can add up to 180 seconds for them on struggle phase alone due to this: Once at the start of struggle to make it 90s, then at 50 to make it 80, then at 40 to make it 70, then at 30 to make i41 comments 1,281 views last activity

When all survivors alive are hiding and refusing to even attempt to repair at all while hatch is not open (thus cannot start EGC), that is against the rules for (1) refusing to participate in normal gameplay and (2) holding the game hostage, which is potentially bannable depending on case-by-case circumstances (eg, new players not knowing better). This is not up for debate.21 comments 241 views last activity

Give her some muscles of steel. I think Nurse being a ripped hot tomboy would make her gameplay experience better for both sides. Another improvement after that would be making her Mori using said buff thighs to crush the survivor's skull instead.4 comments 41 views last activity

There is literally no good reason to not make a FOV slider basekit for killer. Hiding right beside the killer does not work even without Shadowborn if the killer has enough common sense to realize if the survivor is nowhere to be seen, they would have to be beside the killer. Wider peripheral vision doesn’t really matter when good killer players will be walking across a map while checking side24 comments 201 views last activity

Previously, a killer knows guaranteed they have 16 seconds, and thus a certain distance they can go. Now, it is randomly anywhere from 15-16 seconds with no way for the killer to see or know, which is up to several meters less which can suddenly end up in losing the down. Furthermore, they are incredibly easy to macro to perfect 100% success rate every single time due to being perfectly centered5 comments 41 views last activity

I propose several ideas to help reduce the grind for new players who have not benefited much at all from the recent changes: New accounts start with 1 million BP to spend and experiment as they like Bloodpoints earned are doubled (basically basekit Escape Cake/Survivor Pudding) until Devotion 1 to help facilitate early income. Generic perks are T3 on all characters for the side by default, so1 comments 11 views last activity

I think it would improve DBD if the killer carrying animation was reworked into a princess carrying animation. Also I think survivors and killers should get an emote to allow headpatting each other. 👉👈2 comments 11 views last activity

Proposed Buffed Version: Removes the great skill check zone - Reasoning: Making more skill checks appear is bad when hitting great skill checks. Not strong enough to warrant such a double-edged sword. Repairing skill check speeds increased by 50% - Reasoning: Generator counterpart to Coulrophobia. Coulrophobia maintains great skill checks in return for slower speed. This would be no great s3 comments 31 views last activity

Currently, there's a few issues with being on the receiving end of being camped: If the person on hook immediately gives up, it screws the rest of the team. However, the person on hook will likely be screwed in terms of Bloodpoints earned and any emblem progress, thus not really giving any good reason to stay around either. However, most ideas people have of combating camping are extremely hard t0 comments 11 views last activity

Shadowborn should be made basekit as a 15° slider (87-103). Not everyone prefers maximum. Some people must use Shadowborn to avoid getting a migraine while playing. There is no meaningful downside. FOV techs do not work against common sense. Example of an FOV tech: If a survivor vanishes after you vault, there’s literally nowhere else they could be other than right beside/behind you. Currently, Trapper faces the issue that map trap placement RNG screws him over quite a lot and makes it time-consuming to go out of your way to pick them up, or areas with no traps anywhere nearby. Also, having no way to reposition more easily after putting them all down. Thus, I suggest a light rework that will keep the same core gameplay while drastically improving the player experience. As even the developers have said, an unavoidable problem of MMR is that for very good players, there will not be enough players of their level on to consistently give them even-skill matches. To prevent their queue times from being horrendously long, they will sometimes be matched against worse players in which the result will likely be obvious. This is not specific to Dead by Daylight. Currently, Dead by Daylight juggles balance because there are both solo survivors and survivors playing together with others (whether 1, 2, or 3 others). Notably, playing together with others does not actually necessarily mean they will have better teamwork than playing alone . It means they have better access to information. There is never ever an excuse to say a slur, encourage suicide, or threaten someone IRL over a video game. If you are incapable of that, you should not be allowed to participate in a game or its community - you clearly aren’t mature enough to handle being responsible. It is artificially punishing and anti-skill. Regardless of where the player chains the survivor from, where the others will spawn is more or less random, and it can put you in lose-lose situations: Option A: You detour around the chains, losing the time the chains would have bought, nullifying the point of the power. I propose that Shadowborn (+15° FOV) be implemented into basekit as a slider that allows the player to adjust killer FOV between 87° (the current base amount) and 103° (max possible with Shadowborn). Accordingly, Monitor & Abuse would also no longer need to have the FOV effect, which could be replaced with something else. Below are the reasons for this suggestion: Accessibility Some people7 comments 81 views last activity

Current base regression (-0.25 charges/second) is extremely poor and underwhelming. It takes 40 seconds to undo 10 seconds of progress. I think it would be better if generator repair times were kept at 80, but regression rates were bumped up to -0.5 charges/second. Stuff like Ruin would be 100% to match instead of its current 200%. That way, base regression in of itself is more helpful. I think1 comments 31 views last activity

I think the basekit duration of BT could be longer than the planned 5 seconds, and I think Off the Record is a great implementation for those that specifically want something strong at defense against tunneling. I am a fan of basekit BT in general and think it was a much needed implementation. I think standardizing the volume of all survivors (healthy/injured/etc) would make it less appealing to pick someone for quieter sounds and rather just that they like the character, or feel less discouraged at picking a previously louder character.1 comments 21 views last activity

Example A The survivor only needs to lock one of the two lockers, because they know that regardless of where the Dredge aims at, it doesn’t matter, they will be sucked to the locked locker. And then they just do the same again next time around. Skill does not matter, because the Dredge also has no way to deal with it other than going somewhere completely different, or having broken the lock exte0 comments 41 views last activity

Steps Survivor locks one of the two lockers in a cluster (two right beside each other) Dredge teleports to the cluster Cannot pick which of the two to go to, will always select the locked one Additionally happens even when neither are locked and will randomly pick instead, despite being two different lockers Is this a bug or not? Steps Activate and hold Dredge’s power Aim at a locker behind another locker OR at a locker where another is near horizontally or vertically (but NOT a cluster, as in right beside each other). One of the main problems with Blindness is it disproportionately affects solo players because they lose the ability to see downed or hooked teammates. This effect is basically useless for people with comms, as they can just talk about it. However, Blindness otherwise isn’t really that great either. I think this would be a nice step that could lead to a more friendly environment. For instance, after you finish a game and go back to the lobby, you’ll see a small in-game pop up saying something like “3 players commended you that match!” Sure, it has no mechanical effect or gameplay reward, but it just feels nice and satisfying. I know that you have stated before the reason a flat FOV increase/slider will not be basekit is because this game is balanced around a limited FOV. Even BHVR has explicitly stated this themselves in the most recent Q&A stream. In any game, most are average - why it’s an "average". Very/extremely good players are only a tiny portion. When you factor region and time zones when people play, it is obvious there aren’t enough on for an even match without waiting for hours. Alchemist Ring is unhealthy design, as it negates his intended downtime (recharge), in which a survivor can reach a new loop/make distance. Letting Blight rush vertically into the sky and turn into an orbital missile would be ultra totes cool. So reworking Alchemist Ring into that would take out two birds with one stone.8 comments 132 views last activity

For the absolute majority of DBD players, this game is pretty much entirely balanced. The only area at which things become notable are ultra-high levels of play, and tournament play. For anyone below that, this game pretty much IS entirely balanced. Yeah, people can bring 4 second-chances + strong items + strong maps. People can bring 4 slowdowns + strong killer + strong add-ons + strong maps. S1 comments 41 views last activity

As it currently stands, Feral Frenzy is frustratingly slow sometimes, leading to double-duration being the only "good" add-ons. Otherwise you will often waste the majority, if not all of the time trying to catch up to anyone other than your very first hit. While splitting up does make sense as intended counterplay, Legion only moving at 130% in Feral Frenzy makes it near useless trying to catch a0 comments 41 views last activity
