Even with the desync issues I can barely catch up to or hit any survivors. Killers feel like they have a ball and chain wrapped around their feet and are so slow. After getting infinite looped for awhile I just stopped and let the survivors just go. Of course they decided to taunt and tbag and wouldn’t leave. To a certain degree yes I know, rank doesn’t mean anything. However I think honestly it does to an extent. Like a level 1 red rank going against survivors who 9, 15, 8, and 20.( FYI that was my match just now. I’m level 9 and we got destroyed before we could even do a gen. Just had a match where everyone was constantly grouped together and the minute I hooked someone they would unhook. Of course most of them had Dead Hard except one. They kept trying to bodyblock and would never leave the hook so forced me to camp. Finally downed the one who didn’t have dead hard and killed him. Everyone else escaped. I’ve tried to do the tips and tricks against a Leatherface that I’ve seen in these threads but it never seems to work or matter. I’ve hugged walls and obstacles, vaulted windows, etc and LF doesn’t seem fazed by them in the least. The chainsaw just go through everything and it seems that there isn’t much of a penalty for using the chainsaw for a long time, cause he can just reuse it again. Is anyone else in console getting a glitch where you are trying to disarm a trap say near a window, the prompt comes up to disarm, but instead your character vaults and then get caught in the trap. It just happened to me, I got downed, and I was so pissed I immediately DC’d. I don’t like toxic survivors as Killer so I’m not going to put up with it if my teammates do the same. If I catch them teabagging and just being a douche to the Killer for no reason. In a lot of my matches lately the second I spawn in the Killer is nearby or right on top of me. I managed to catch a clip of the latest spawn point mayhem. Though I’ve had killers be even closer. I think I’ve about reached my limit. I binged and try to push through this update but it’s getting to be too much. This is my first rift event and I wanted to go all out and win everything but it’s getting tough to push through as survivor. Just had a match where all three teammates were focused solely on gens and nothing else. I was the only one not a try hard red rank. I saved multiple people from hooks and these three didn’t even bother to try and save me. They just focused on gens and said he was camping! He was nowhere near me. I know this has the potential of high ranking killers and survivors never getting matches but at the same time I’m curious if the ranking system should be shown in Lobby’s before a match. To make sure everyone is even and low ranks aren’t going up against a red rank killer or vice versa. Has anyone else noticed this? Just had a match where the killers could easily gen patrol and the survivors were lucky to just get a few done. This is clearly for the killers benefit. Has anyone else noticed that even the once large maps that gave survivors a little breathing room and now shrunk down? Let me tell you mine. When a group of toxic survivors tbag the whole game and body block, manage to get all the gens done, and then dick around near the exit gate. If you are unfortunate enough to get a Doctor on a small map like The Game, Hawkins, Swamp, etc just know you are more than likely to lose. They are usually either filthy campers, or tunnelers. This LF I just had would hook me and wait. Then pretend to leave come back and down me again. And if I managed to get away he would follow me all over the map till he downed me again. Use to I thought going up against the Wraith as survivor was fair enough. It seemed he needed a few seconds to hit you after becoming visible again. Lately however anytime I play against him he hits the bell, becomes visible, and hits me in less than a second. It’s useless without perks or DS. A killer can travel across the entire map to another hook before the survivor can even get the wiggle free meter halfway. It either needs to be reworked or just taken out. I’m tired of the false chance it gives. Before the rework of the map it was so killer sided that most killers can wipe out all the survivors before they can even get two gens now. Now with the rework the killers can still kill all survivors in maybe three gens! Honestly though I don’t know why everyone is complaining about the Game. I know most posts are negative on here but I decided to share my love of Ash mains. Maybe it’s just me but every teammate I’ve had who plays Ash is an absolute legend. They help downed or hooked survivors, work on gens, and are all around a great teammate to have. When I see an Ash in my lobby I’m excited cause I know at least I can count on him. In a comment on another post a commenter mentioned other bugs or “features” that they noticed that people haven’t and aren’t talking about. I decided to see for myself if it’s true and they were right. At least that’s how it seems to me anyway. As of being a survivor wasnt already hell enough. I play killer as well but not as much as survivor. Are killer mains enjoying the update? Cause survivors sure arent. Every match I’m in the killer wipes the floor with survivors and can usually do it while hopping on one foot and blind due to the hit boxes. Every time I have used them I shine them directly into their face, then staring right at me, and it does nothing. Unless the flashlight and bulb are legendary sent by God himself you’re better off shining that flashlight up your butt. People may frown on it but I’ve done it a few times in some messed up cases. Like if everyone is already injured or downed and no gens are done I know it’s a lost cause or if my teammates are being extremely dumb or outright jerks. Had a few teammates before lead the killer right to me to lose him and then he downs me and hooks me. I’m usually done after that. Does it ever make you just want to quit when you manage to do three gens yourself, multiple hook saves, etc and then at the end you are the only one who gets killed? The rest of the team you had to carry gets away and you suffer for being a good teammate. My three teammates literally like me to die at the end. I know everyone says he’s the weakest killer but he is legitimately one of the killers I always lose against. I’ve heard of the strategies of hug the walls and corners, windows,trees, etc when he revs up his chainsaw but it seems like most leatherfaces don’t have an issue with that anymore. Just had a match against a Legion. Not even a second after the match started one of my teammates was already injured. Not joking or anything. I believe it’s harder being a survivor only due to the fact your success rests on your teammates. You can do amazing. Pops gens, loop the killer, but if you have a bunch of randoms in your party then chances are you are in for a tough time. Killers just rely on themselves for their success or failure. Just got held hostage for 15 mins by a Doctor Killer in a match. One survivor DCd due to being held hostage and he killed another. Finally it was just me and another. He wouod down us and leave us. We would heal then try our best to do gens. Finally we had enough and stood there for five minutes while he just continually shocked us. This went on forever. Not sure if I understood the new update but I only played against a Freddy once and it was.....confusing. When the match started we were automatically in the dream world, couldn’t get out through the clock cause it doesn’t exist now. And we couldn’t hear him anymore cause dream world, no terror radius. Is there a reason why killers don’t get much bloodpoints even when they do great? I did a match, downed and killed three survivors, damaged gens and pallets, etc. also used an offering to get my blood points and barely got any. Just had a match where a Claudette( of course it was a Claudette) pointed me out as I was injured and hiding in a locker to the killer. I managed to help do three gens and unhook so I wasn’t a coward hiding. Next thing this Claudette knows is she is the first to go down and immediately before she is sacrificed she DC’s. Just curious. For me it mostly depends on the killer. Though no matter what case I always hate the swamps. I usually like the meat plant but when I went up against a Nurse, who by the way, can teleport all over the map with ease cause it’s not a big map, we got demolished quickly. Anytime I see that ttv in their name I groan. Either they are going to be toxic as hell, or so selfish that they won’t help out their team at all and only care about if they get out. Just had a match where the survivors bullied me the entire match, then just simply tapped the exit gate and left. The light on the control box on the gate weren’t even lit or anything. Can you use a key when there is still two survivors alive? If so does the key item show in the slot on the player afterward? I was up against a Cheryl player and I suspected hacking cause I would down her and before I could even pick her up she got right back up again. Mainly in my experience it seems the toxic players or dumb players, choice of survivor is either Claudette or Dwight. I’m rank 5 and just had a match with a Claudette who immediately started sprinting everyone and vaulting, leading the killer right to us and causing us to start off on the wrong foot. Just wondering story-wise if eventually the survivors and some of the killers just give up playing the Entity’s game. Like death isn’t an escape so the survivors know it’s pointless. As for the Killer’s I can’t imagine killing the same group of people over and over again is thrilling for them. Be like eating pizza every day for the rest of your life. Just had a match where the team was facing off against a Myers. He downed and hooked a person. I was the only one doing gens. And my two other High IQ teammates decided to hover near the hook and have Myers stare them down, then he easily reached Tier 2 and down the both in one hit. From then on the match was dreadful. It seems every time I face off against him his reach is massive. Just had a match where I vaulted through a window, took three steps away from said window, and he still managed to hit me through the window on the other side. Personally I don’t think killers should be able to hit through windows like that, only if the survivor Didnt vault completely in time.
