i know killer is stressful and all, but the amount of posts you make complaining about survivors far exceeds the amount of bitching I've done about blight on controller & response curves/deadzones. you're making yourself out to be "that guy".
I don’t really care.

Have you ever tried M1'ing the saviour again? I would count that as two hits so the saviour would be downed, sounds hard to do but with enough practice I'm sure you can hit a stationary survivor locked in an animation twice.
Not when it takes longer to do the “clean the weapon motion.” Guess what you would call it, then it takes to unhook the survivor

Easy.
Renewed Agony:
After hooking a survivor, Renewed Agony activates for 10/15/20 seconds or when the hooked survivor escapes. Any survivor that is within 8 meters radius of the hooked survivor is exposed, this effect lingers for 30 seconds when the afflicted survivor either leaves the hook radius or Renewed Agony deactivates.
Whose perk is that?

@n0suchluck said:
Haha and here I love hook swarming. When survivors do that, all bets are off. I hit everything that moves. Including the unhooked survivor! Play stupid games, win stupid prizes...
If it’s a half decent team no matter who you hit they have a second chance to get away or get the hook survivor. A lot of them have BT etc. it’s not fun at all.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
No offence but this is a no from me. With this perk facecamping suddenly becomes nigh-uncounterable and honestly I ain't in the mood to deal with that ever
It’s to replace the grab animation cause it doesn’t work. If they try to unhook in the middle of it then it insta-down. That is basically what the grab is.
-
You don’t get it do you? Killers are suppose to follow the survivor rulebook for them while survivors can do anything and everything they want. Cause they are survivor. They deserve to win every time simply cause they are survivor. Honestly it shouldn’t even be allowed to down a survivor.
/s
-
I just find it funny that survivors have a long list of rules for killers to follow but they can act however they want to the killer cause that’s just how they play.

Sadly, they usually get away with their abhorrent behavior. Happened to me tonight. Saw an Object on Rotten Fields so I decided to tunnel him out of the game, and lose 3 kills rather than play normal and get no kills, but his SWF and horribly designed loops like cow tree carried him so hard, he still ended up getting away. Very disappointed that the farm maps are gonna be the new Haddonfield after the remaster.
Yeah. Most of the time they do. I just lucky. sorry that happened to you. That map sucks so bad.

Plenty, there is nothing more satisfaying than pulling a survivor from the exit gates with a ninja deathslinger and the classic blood warden that activates and don't get noticed until its too late.
There is nothing more funny than a survivor t-bagging near the gate and watch him try desperately go through the entity spikes as you approach them 😂
Usually they don’t tbag with a Deathslinger cause he can do that. Very stupid of them.

Same, i had a match when i was trying to farm as Oni and everyone ran away from me, Bill would go after and flashlight click and tbagg at me while i wasn't even doing anything.
Got angry when the collapse started and managed to sacrifice a feng, Bill was jumping over a pallet near one of the exist, i went after him with demon rush and he few a few meters away from the exit.
Bet that made your day lol

@Kirkylad said:
It's just how people are in this game. Survivors lose because killer tunnels or camps and they're so toxic, yet when they go against a killer who isn't that great it's tbagging at every pallet and clicking their flashlights.
Same for killer to they deal with the tbaggers and then complain how they're toxic, then they go against a bunch of solos playing normally and they dominate and they're hitting them on the hook or leaving them to bleed out. It's all just a vicious cycle.
I wonder who started it first? The survivors since tbagging was in the game since the beginning? Or maybe the killers?

He does think that. He has an extreme bias against survivors.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2137469#Comment_2137469
Thank you for telling me about that. Sometimes I would stay to give a hit but I didn't realize it was insulting. Eventhouh it's toxic as you say the intention behind it is most likely not.
I do not have a bias against survivors. I play both. When I know the rest of my team is safe I immediately leave cause I know how it feels. Granted if the killer camped or tunneled then I stay and tbag. An insult for an insult. I can’t tell you how many times everyone is at the gate and I just leave while the others just stay to be toxic and whatnot. I just find it very unsportsmanlike. Survivors moan and whine about camping and tunneling but then a ton of them tbag and click their flashlights at you at the exit gate. It’s ok for them but it’s a no no for killers.
-
While I can see people waiting to give a free hit for the killer. What survivors need to understand is that this is the minority. Most just tbag and then dead hard away. So now Killers generalize all survivors wanting to do this. Honestly, I would find it more respectful if you just immediately left. I don’t care much for free hits but I do care about you prolonging the match. The match is over. Just leave so we can both go into another match.

Hold W towards the gate, simple.
I don't understand how something that can be solved with holding W for 5 seconds is such a triggering thing.
I’m on console. W doesnt exist

@Altarf said:
Because it's probably fun for them.
It’s fun for them sure. But it’s not fun to camp and tunnel for them. I guess the only thing that matters is their fun.
-
Uh what?
-
The grind is terrible and I play nonstop and still trying to get perks and such.
-
I had someone on PSN call me a camping( gay slur). I laughed and immediately reported him for saying it. Saying he discriminated against my sexual orientation. I’ve never seen Sony respond so fast. Boy got banned instantly.
-
Camping is fine as long as you bring a tent
-
Give me and the Killer I’m playing an option to smoke one and just relax. Let the survivors play gen simulator the game while me and my killer are in the barn in Coldwind talking about life while eating Doritos
-
Everyone would just choose Scooby and the killers won’t hurt him cause he’s a dog. Instant win for survivors. Besides, I want JabberJaw instead.
-
I wish survivors would act like They were afraid of me. In high ranks the survivors will just do gens or heal right in your face. Can’t tell you how many times I hit someone doing a gen, they get right back on it and don’t even care. It’s infuriating
-
I hate survivors who just won’t leave. They feel the need to rub it in the other player’s face. It’s very unsportsmanlike. We need more killers pulling stuff like this to punish survivors for not just leaving. Instead of staying to mock
-
I had a lag switching Ace once I believe. Anytime I went for him my internet basically crapped out. I kept sputtering and lagging badly. Then when I went for someone else nothing happened. It was just with the Ace player. Made me so mad. Even worse when I downed the cheater and the other survivors wouldn’t let him die for cheating. Instead they rushed and saved him. If I know someone in my team as survivor is cheating I won’t save them.
-
I’ve had that exact scenario happen to me in three matches recently. The survivors are struggling and can’t get that last gen cause they three genned themselves? Oh well, found a key in a chest. All three just leave.
-
I don’t even remember the last time I went up against a Bubba. Maybe it’s just my region but I encounter a certain set of killers and nothing more.
-
So if killers got a message warning them about using the mending exploit why are survivors not getting the same warning?

Jane + rockabilly outfit = yes please
Indeed. Ladies. A single Wraith here looking to settle down with my Jane.
-
My fav killer is Wraith only because he has the power to gen patrol better in my opinion. Clown is very fun but he gets his fat butt handed to him in high ranks so he’s not viable. My favorite survivor is Jane for obvious reasons. I usually take a survivor Jane to hatch in most of my matches as Killer. I’d marry a jane main if I could. Bonus if they looked like her.
-
A lot of Killers feel sluggish and weighed down to me. I run Shadowborn on almost all of them cause they feel like utter garbage to me otherwise. It feels like a waste and honestly it should be base kit
-
Survivors can make constant mistakes and still have other teammates and perks to rely on and cover for their mistakes. Messed up on a loop? Dead Hard away. Downed and not hooked? Unbreakable for you baby. Killers make one mistake or spend a second longer on a chase than necessary and that’s it. The match can be over. You have only yourself. While survivors have 3 other people to cover for them.
-
The funny thing about this is. Very rarely if at all so Killers send messages saying “you can’t do that!” Or “ DS survivor trash!” I have a whole folder of messages from survivors telling me what I can’t and can do against them and calling me everything under the sun.
-
Killer. If a killer is toxic, you have three people backing you up and making the killer sweat for being toxic. If a 4 man SWF on comms is toxic. Then you’re just sweating and losing.
-
You were boring to play against to them because they didn’t win. If I can tell it’s going to be SWF, and I’m in high ranks so it’s always no chill, I play overly aggressive. Had some russian Claudette with a flashlight trying to be cute and everything. So I just simply facecamped her till second hook and then went after everyone else. May be bad for getting someone immediately to second hook causes the SWF to panic a lot.

I had a survivor farm me twice and stealth away so I returned the favour, t-bagged her as the killer was going through his weapon wipe animation, and DC'd on her slugged body.
Had a survivor do that to me once and just stood there after. The Killer was right there and saw her pull that stunt. He just shook his head and went after her instead. I had given up but he let me go for now. I died eventually but that was still nice of him.

Awesome - I have streamed DBD for over 3,000 hours but honestly don't think I have seen this. I guess if I did it didn't affect me enough to notice. Then again - red ranks running self care - it's a choice; not a good one imo. (Imagining Tatiana saying "Choices" now)
Stalky Boi just released a video where someone did this to him, with a Myers. So he was self-caring in front of a Myers lol

A Steve BMed me for an entire match after I unhooked a Nea by him. He didn't even farm me for the points, he just BMed me. Bodyblocking at pallets, blowing gens up while I was working them, etc.
I don't get it
I hear some people get bored with the game and instead of trying Killer cause it’s “too scary and hard” they decide to be a dick and harm their team. Had a Claudette do that to me once. Immediately vaulted everywhere and into lockers around me while I’m working on gen to get the killer to come to me. I left and she got caught instead. So screw her.
-
@Jasix said:
I love self care on survivors - when I am the killer.
No clue why they would drop a pallet and do that - don't think I have ever seen anyone do it; or if I did it was a rarity.
I’ve seen it a lot myself and on Twitch streamers Vids on YouTube.
-
@Jasix said:
Never done that - purposefully kill myself on first hook no matter the reason. Only time I have done it is if it's me and one other person left and I can tell they found hatch - and if I am already struggling.
In your scenario you don't know if you screwed anyone over, but you did screw yourself out of possible points. I had two matches Tuesday where someone did what you did - the killer then took it easy on the rest of us and we got out with like 27-29k BP each.
As for your question: I'm not really that petty - it's a game. One time I did try to enter a locker to HEAD ON the killer and someone was hiding in there - I ran off and the killer got them instead. So while not purposefully - it did screw them over.
The fact she stood there and just watched on the other side of the pallet, while Myers was still in Tier 3, made it seem like she purposefully sacrificed me. I have no reason to help someone after that and will gladly sacrifice points if it makes their match harder.

it's to pressure you more. and it's a legit strategy, not bm.
if the survivor is using literally every spare second they get to heal, they are winning even more time from you than simply being in a chase. it makes you commit. you have to make the decision to see that chase through to the end or drop it NOW, and every second you quibble internally is two seconds you're losing if you give up on the chase later. it amplifies the sunk cost fallacy. if you cannot quickly determine whether a chase is good or bad, then having someone self care in your face is going to compound your problem.
forcing the killer to commit to a bad chase is a winning move. when you see a survivor doing this, analyse what's going on around you. don't just go "oh it's bm", it's so much smarter than just teabagging.
I guess that makes sense. I didn’t know if it was a strat move or a dick one is all
-
@dspaceman20 said:
I guess you can call it a tactic. If I running a healing build with a med kit I want to prolong the chase as possible by getting back to health state. I don't really do it to insult the killer.
Side question: do you always suspect survivors are being nefarious in their actions? If you do that's probably not a good mindset to have.
Only in high ranks where no chill exists. I suspect them of going to pull some crap eventually.

Jumped in a locker after healing someone because the nurse was taking someone to a hook. This pos Nea decided to open the locker right when barbecue would've gone off, and then when I was hooked in the basement later she came down, teabagged, and then left. I died on first hook. She also died.
What is it about Nea that makes everyone hate her so. Why do pos people play as her or Steve.
