  • So, why are killers like the knight and Skull so hated by both killers and survivors. It suddenly came to my mind what the problem might be. They are, what i will call, NO RISK/ NO REWARD killers. What does this mean, this means the killer has a power with the following traits: Little self slowdown Short or no cooldowns No real way to be played around by survivors with the power itself Ver

  • Ok, so before it starts, i am not going to talk about pallets or M2s, you stop reading if you want. What do i think are the true issues with DH. I think 2 issues: 1- The perk is super inconsistent because of Ping, lag, delay you name it. Timing a DH on console feels super unnatural because you are DH before an attack because if you don't the game just won't register or even worse makes you exha

  • So, why are there still items that you can't use on chests like green maps and keys. Would it be that bad for all items to have a function just so opening a chest wouldn't be such a waste of time?

  • Do i expect any of this to matter, nope. I am not a game dev and i am sure its impossible to rework the character for a long while. But hey, i will waste time trying to think of a concept for the skull merchant. So lets try keep the trap based, stealth play style, almost "Predator" like and try make it more interesting. Rework: 4.6m, TR 24m You have 4 drones that can be placed with no restrict

  • So, i have two questions, is the Wesker bound flick intentional and second how do you do it in game? I am referring to the change of direction when grabbing a survivor, for those that don't know what i am referring to

  • So this is an idea to fix the problems with overzelous. After cleansing a totem the perk activates, the next gen you start repairing after 8 seconds gets an instant 15% of repair progress added to it. If the totem you cleansed was an Hex totem you can see the killer's aura for 15 seconds. Why instant progress instead of a repair speed bonus, simple. You waste 14 seconds to cleanse a totem so t

  • Honestly, with more zoning killers that are released that create sure hit scenarios where you just can't interact. I just start to not care about the DH has no counter argument, a lot of dumb stuff in this game has no counter and we have to deal with it and with people asking for it to get buffed. Does it suck that not all killers create this problems and some killers get affected by DH way mor

  • Some suggestions for Blood Rush nerfs are hilarious, they make the perk useless and say that they are being generous as the perk would still be strong xD So you people want Blood rush to not heal a survivor back up after its used? And you think the perk would be good and probably still OP. So i am healthy and exhausted, i have this options, either i get a free SB for the trade of injuring mysel

  • With this question, i am not asking which killers are the strongest, i am asking which killers do you think are the best in terms of strength, health and fun. Basically killers that don't really need any changes to their base kit or add-ons This is all a bit subjective, but i am bit curious to know the opinion. For me: Hag Huntress Plague Demogorgon Oni Pinhead Artist Dredge Wesker

  • First i thought they were just gonna do this for RE characters, but with this new chapter we are getting original survivors with voice lines. This is awesome. So i ask. What kinda voice lines would you like to see if they added this for every survivor?

  • Well, now i see why Eruption was changed this patch, this killer would have been so disgusting with the 3 gen meta. She might end up worst than knight at doing that strategy. I really wonder...

  • So, could you gain tokens for Dark sense instead of just activating. Basically just making the perk more consistent in the amount of time you get to see the aura of the killer. Basically just guaranteeing you get 50 seconds of aura reading during the match even if multiple gens get done before you get to use the perk.

  • So, can plunderer give a speed boost to opening chest's like 100% speed or something ridiculous like that. i don't want the perk to be meta or good. But i would like to have a perk to get the chest challenges in archives faster. Because that's what the perk is used for anyway. Don't make it work with Nemesis and Wesker chests, again i just want to finish the chest archives faster and play the

  • So, what if you replace the endurance effect of DH by iframes. This would change some interactions for the perk for both sides: Can be used in deep wound so counters tunneling and doesn't get countered by 2 killers that inflict deep wound No longer counts as an hit, this can help survivor or killer depending on the situation (STBF, NOED, mettle of man, WGLF) No speed boost and killer is put

  • I have seen a lot of negativity towards survivors because of the eruption change that i don't agree. Most sensible survivors complained about eruption because of the incapacitated effect and how unfun it was. But most also tried to compensate the perk by either upping the regression or removing the cooldown. The problem with eruption was how unfun and cheap it felt, but nobody wanted the perk

  • All boon perks, that are not COH, are basically just a killer perk, they are a waste of time. Why do i think that? Simple, their effects are niche and second the boon range. None of the other boons have universally good effects like COH, they could be helpful or they could do nothing but waste time setting a boon. Secod the range issue, COH is the only boon that benefits for being faraway from

  • So i have seen this suggestion before, but what if grim embrace got a different effect for each unique hook instead of just in the fourth hook. Here is a suggestion, but if you can think of better effects be sure to give feedback. After hooking a survivor for the first time you gain a token, you gain an effect after hooking a survivor depending on the numbers of tokens you have. This effects ca

  • Ok, first i really hated Eruption and still do. I am really happy with the Eruption nerf. But Bhvr i don't think you need to touch the regression part of the perk, you can keep it at the flat 10%. The incapacitated was the unhealthy and unfun part of the perk. While i really won't be crying if the perk does end up being destroyed and garbage, but the 10% is fine. I am not defending Eruption ev

  • So, i want to ask what the community would prefer. Do you like the current version of object of obsession? I was thinking that i wanted a reverse distortion perk, one that shows the aura of the killer if he sees mine, but that is already one of the effects of object, but i don't like the 30 sec aura reveal part of the perk. Do you think the perk is fine, would you like them to rework the perk

  • So would it be too strong if the secondary effect of We are gonna live forever (the endurance) was basekit to the perk or if it was permanent after you activate it, instead of a token. I don't know, feels kinda restricted as it is right now. I loved using the perk before the BP removal and i kinda miss it. And since David was one of my mains before going for Jeff i kinda got a soft spot for it.

  • So, i kinda want to ask what are, in the communities eyes, good gen perks and i mean good in people actually use them, but are perfectly fine or mostly fine. I am honest and already said that i don't like this regression/progression meta, but i think it's important to to establish what a good power level should be. I personally would like the devs to expand the concept of a gen defense perk fo

  • Would it be possible to let survivors do the normal skill check when leaving a gen, similar to how overcharge works. Its really ######### to get hit with a penalty because of random bad luck with no fault of your own, and now potential energy got really hurt in the patch notes. A survivor can be loosing time, for an advantage that the killer can remove with just an M1, getting a random skill che

  • So, if DH does get nerfed and becomes useless or completely reworked to be something else entirely. Killers will have harder matches in general for the majority of players. I think DH is so popular for survivors just for the fact that it is strong and fun. If everyone just leaves DH and goes for SB, say hello to the hold W meta. Most survivors just can't get consistent value out of DH and if t

  • Some simple changes to some underwhelming survivor perks that would make them better: Aftercare- Not reseting on hooks Alert - Aura reading starting after finishing the action and not while doing it Autodidact - Starting at 0% and gaining 10% for each skill check, higher chance of skill check with each token Better than new - Up the numbers to like 30%, add opening exit gates and unhooking t

  • Just to be clear, this is probably a bad idea. I would prefer them to just buff DS. But, if Bhvr really wants Off the Record or BT to be effective anti tunneling tools there a simple change that they can make. Again, probably a bad idea. But making the endurance from the BT work like Mettle of Man, AKA doesn't put the survivor in Deep Wound. This change would really nerf tunneling and hard,

  • Yes, i know she just got changes. No i am not putting a rework that is not coming but some small tweaks that could improve the counterplay to her for the survivors. After blinking add a small delay before she can attack (something small between 0.25-0.5s, not sure how much exactly), basically make so Nurse can't attack on the first frame after blinking. This will help survivors react to nurse b

  • Ideas to change self unhooks, so survivors stop killing themselves in solo queue (well not as easy atleast) Rework Self Unhook: Survivors only have 1 try to self unhook in the first stage, base chance to unhook increased from 4% to 10%. Failing a self unhook doesn't cause the timer to decrease, instead the survivor with suffer with the broken status effect for the remainder of the trial. Remov

  • So DH id still the controversial perk as always. So the perk by the idea of the devs and intention is supposed to be an active skill for the survivor to escape when injured. The original was like that (until people just just started to use it for distance), and the new one is even more focused on that design. Problems with the perk: Survivor: Its effectiveness is variant to the connection and

  • So what does Eruption do: For the price of Kicking a Gen, which if you have other perks is not even a price. You get for downing a survivor, your main objective with no requirements. 10% regression Survivors working on the gen can't do objectives for 25 seconds Reveals information to killer that survivors were o gens Survivors can't predict when eruption will trigger Additional 6.5% regres

  • With the ever increasing amount of perks that the game has been receiving with each chapter, the current shrine of secrets feels outdated. We currently have 183 unique survivor/Killer perks, we are almost at the point that 1 perk can be in the shrine once a year if all perks rotated evenly. For new players that seems like an excruciating amount of time for specific perks. Could we get an upd

  • I don't understand the point of No Mither, the perk is basically a self imposed hard mode and a meme, which even the devs seem to be aware, Self care + No Mither Haha. So is the perk gonna stay like that because of jokes? I mean atleast killers joke add-ons give you BP. But honestly the thought of solo queue having more players with No Mither because of BP makes me shiver a bit. Just rework th

  • Do people actually now how much prove thyself actually helps in doing a gen? Is Prove really the probem or just BNPs? In case someone doesn't know, prove thyself makes a gen faster by: 2 People: 7 seconds 3 People: 10 seconds 4 People: 12 seconds I mean there are simple ways to nerf the perk, you can make the boost only be 15%, instead of increasing with the number of people, or the boost

  • Perk 1 (Scourge Hook): After being unhooked you suffer from the broken status effect for 60/70/80 seconds. Perk 2: You gain 1 token for each basic attack hit on a non-obsession survivor up to a max of 6/5/4. Hitting the obsession makes you loose all tokens. When you have 6/5/4 tokens, the obsession suffers from the oblivious and exposed status effect. Perk 3: 3 seconds after a survivor looses a

  • I think the worst part of the solo queue is survivors griffing, becomig afk, killing themselves, DCing. Can we pls get a better report function so people stop doing this so often. Other games punish people for quitting games repeatedly, but it never feels like that happens in dbd. So people just give up very early

  • So the last few chapters i feel like there hasn't been any cool chase perks for survivors, so i wanted to brainstorm some ideas: Perk 1: After stunning a Killer with a Pallet 4/3/2 times, this perk activates. While this perk is active when you stun a Killer with a pallet, their stun time is increased by 50% and and the looses the bloodlust effect Perk 2: When falling from a great height, reduce

  • So the idea of the buffs is to incentivize long patrols, but they still left the playstyle most people see as boring, why not nerf the speed of the detection radius if you drop your guard instantly, that way just dropping a guard and not making a path becomes way less valuable. I am not saying the knight is OP, if he needs more buffs after this PTB i guess we will see, but if you want to remove

  • So what if instead of making gen rush perks, survivors got perks to counter regression. The idea came when i saw that survivor only have niche perks like repressed alliance to counter the heavy slowdown. So i wonder if instead of giving survivors more ways to makes go faster they just gave counters to those perks would incentive more variety and more enjoyable matches. Maybe changes like that

  • This is for the DH haters, here a counter Basic attacks put healthy survivors in the mending state instead of the injured state. Give it a requirement or cooldown or nothing. But here, a perk killers can use that counters a really strong survivor perk and gives a small slowdown to survivors. And its not another gen perk.

  • Dead Hard is a fine perk, it's a high risk/ high reward chase perk. Why is it so used, well because of the reward, its the strongest chase perk survivors have even if its hard or inconsistent to pull off. And because its a perk with obvious skill expression and it just feels really good to get right, honestly the 1 time you get right feels so amazing, even if you messed up like 6 other times. Al

  • I know killers hate this map, even after the rework. But i think the devs should look at the gen spawns in RPD. It is way too common to have 4 gens spawn very close to each other making it really difficult to complete the objective. Like why can the main entrance spawn two gens in the same room. As survivor and killer the game just ends because the gens are so cramped together becomes impossi

  • I absolutely hate Off the Record, this perk is at the same time the most broken perk and useless perk in the game and its effect make no sense. The perk is supposed i assume to stop tunneling, protect you and make you hard to find, since the name, description and original effect imply. The perk was buffed as compensation for the DS nerf and give other options to stop tunneling, i assume. Except

  • Rules are simple, create a meta shake-up similar to the 6.1 patch, so you need to give atleast 1 general gameplay change for each side and 40 perk changes. Its all in good fun for who has time to think about this stuff, don't take it to serious, but try to think of a more healthy meta or game for everyone, regardless if you play survivor or killer. You can explain some of your changes if you. No

  • So, the game is really in a weird state, with all the new tools survivors and killer have to delay gens or rush them, i start to wonder if there should be some mechanic that restricts the amount of perks you can stack together? I dont know, maybe a cap on repair speed for the survivors, maybe a cooldown on regression perks similar to exhaustion so you aren't incentivized to use them together. I
