Because time works differently in the entities realm, and there are so many killers and survivors that there is a chance you might not "run into" that killer for a while. Your first experience with a killer could be with the "last" killer to be drawn into the realm hypothetically.
Simple answer, time isn't linear in the entities realm. It's more static.

Yup, code names 99% of the time don't connect except for England cause you know.
Also, I'm pretty sure they codename by countrys if I'm correct?
Yeah I'm leaning toward it more likely being a middle eastern countries name rather than the actor's name too.
-
I don't see WHY he would have to be slower. That would depend on the killer's balance, and how fast they program him to hobble around. He could be faster then other killers and move really erratically.
-
A MATILDA CHAPTER. We'd finally get "the teacher", and Matilda would bring in a new "psychic" perk for the survivors. ^_^

With spirit, they kinda cheated by making her walk like they WERE attached, and just skipping the vaulting animation completely. Watching windows be a complete bane against this guy as he cant ever go through them would be funny.
I think he would stick his cane over the window, and then leap over with his leg, which would be timed fairly since killers are slower with vaulting anyway.
EDIT:
Or he would literally vault with the cane, leg first.

I'm curious where did you get this Oman from because a code name for a chapter is called Oman.
Typically the chapter code name doesn't directly tie in with the chapter. I think that O was the next letter in the alphabet to title the chapter under.
But I simply googled Oman with hell raiser and saw that an actor who played "German Scientist" has that last name, so maybe it's just a respectful reference, but also it could be a more literal hint towards the killer or survivor.
-
Oh goodness. The Plague is one of the easiest characters to apply pressure in this game. You just might not be good with her.
-
Though the Plague is definitely a Middle Eastern Killer, I would love to see a survivor be introduced.
@LordGlint said:
Feel like the guy not having an arm thats NOT being used to walk would kinda impede on swinging a weapon at people.
They could rig it for him to use the stick to walk and then prop on one leg while he swings. It would be a little complicated but I think they could do it after what they have done with the Spirit and her dismembered floating appendages.
-
Oman is also the name of a German Professor fro Hellraiser: Inferno. So we could be getting them as a cenobite or as a new survivor.
-
There are 3 more male survivors then female so I'd guess the next survivor will be female. This mixed with the potential release based on a licensed killer because of the reference of sales boosts probably implies 11 and a demogorgon. That or The Director and Kirstie.

Really? I see an Ash at least once a day :v
I see at least one of almost every character a day. That isn't something all too special.
-
This is a glitch because I haven't seen this when playing today. You might want to report it in the "bugs" section.
-
I've always loved this perk ^_^It' part of my Laura Croft build :p
-
All can say that I still have fun playing killer but I'm sorry you're not
-
I preferred the old style since it's what I associate with her, but the new style is adequete. I'm I suppose not fully satisfied. her original hair fit her southern singer vibe more then her current hair which is more of a modern poppy look
-
because Brown<Yellow<Green
-
SO many other perks need a buff before this one.
-
...It's obvious they aren't cannon...

If you do the math from her bio, Jane is only in her 20s, somewhere around 24-27

I really don't know why they are even touching her base kit.
With BHVR's track record, you just know they are going to ######### this up.
Her base kit is fine for the record.
Her addons are what make her go from very strong to incredibly overpowered.
If they increase her fatigue time, decrease her charge speed, or decrease the maximum blink range on any of her secondary blinks she's going to just get steamrolled on large maps against good teams of survivors.
Like, she just won't have nearly as much map presence, and you're going to see nothing but Hillbilly and Spirit every goddamn match.
It's because she was built for an earlier version of the game when a bunch of perks didn't exist, and other perks functioned differently. They will both weaken as well as strengthen different things about her so she is more balanced. Probably to make it so she doesn't suck if you're bad with her, but she isn't indomitable if you're talented.
Still strong, but not super weak in the beginning.
I am a little worried they might get it wrong, but I believe she needs a little bit of tweaking.

Both!

LOL! Dude, don't speak for all players who like playing killer.
The Nurse is one of my mains as a killer, and I'm not upset with this. I don't feel like "survivors have won", nor do I feel like "I can't play killer anymore".
Still love this game, thank you behavior!

So the trapper looked like Davy Jones and the Wraith looked like a lovecraft scarecrow at one point before coming to the realm? That's hilarious. XD
(At least Legion's make sense when you view it that way.)
LOL, I know it's kinda silly in some contexts. I imagine maybe since the entity pulls from multiple dimensions and realities, figuring the entity transcends time in a sense from what we can tell, and maybe these are alternate history versions of these characters. That or we should look at them as completely different killers with similar abilities. That would be more specific to the killer with that last note. The survivors would make sense with alternate paths or timelines involving the same survivor before being brought back.
I mean we could assume the entity I designing outfits for them, but they could be sources from the survivors imagination instead of their direct history. Maybe the entity provides clothing the survivors think up. I don't think it would design clothing consciously, but produce it with it's world altering abilities in response to psychological stimuli that evokes the characters to feel their strong emotions to feed the entity.
-
I’d say that they are designed to be old articles of clothing that come from strong memories or pivotal moments in their lives, built from the entities’ auric cells.
i imagine they are given to inspire or to cause fear from the excitement and trauma of the memories that the clothing is tied to.
-
Thank you all for responding, it’s appreciated!
-
What killer(s) are you using? Or specifically, what killers are you hoping to get good with? That will also effect your strategy. each killer is going to have a slightly different tactic based on their power, and certain perks can either help further strengthen that killers strong point, or help round them out based on their weaknesses.
-
Agreed what's going on with Sprint Burst? I don't like it as a perk when playing survivor so I only use it with Meg for the most part.
Is it boosting all actions by 150% for 3 seconds when you press the run button or something?

You don't need to save people and get altruism points. That's an excuse. I prefer to play with altruism in as my main method, but that's ridiculous for you to claim that's why you didn't leave.
-
Needs to be Humanoid. Not specifically human. A demogorgon is still feasible.
-
Solo i my favorite way to play :D

I like the Hallowed Blight one, and the Park Ranger one a bunch

That would mean though that Laurie is actually an illusion.
The entity can pull people from different dimensions.

Wait, is it a former human? Since all killers have to be human at some point...
I thought they said the killer needs a humanoid form for programming reasons, not that the killer has to literally be a human at one point

Not really, it's simply the truth.
The maps would be way worse if players could build their own
-
The 40 second renewal ruins this concept, but aside from that I like it
-
I like the idea of survivor heads turning in the direction they are look. Maybe when a survivor player is looking away from the generator, the survivor's skill check chances are higher or there is a smaller bar for succeeding when a check is activated. Something that allows the present freedom of the camera but also gives the killer clues as to where the survivor is looking while giving an extra stressor when making sure you're not being approached / snuck up on.
-
Sometimes I use a screen size that kind of zooms in and cuts off the edges. It makes it so the survivor's head is half an inch from the top of the screen so it's a super close 3rd person experience for fun sometimes ^_^

@Tsulan Heh, I guess. Still, I am not hopeful about any sort of monster killer.
Are you sure it was monster and not just non-humanoid? Because I thought monsters were still a go, they just didn't want to deal with a new killer skeleton to interact with the map, so it was more bout having a roughly bipedal two armed vertical body. They were against spider legs, and running on all fours, etc.
-
It would be a horror comedy where the survivors come out on top for the beginning of the game and when you feel light hearted about a moment then someone gets butchered.
-
I think they are kind of frozen in time. Can't really die, won't age, etc. Stuck going through a time loop of sorts.

Where did he say embarrassed mother in what you quoted?
He didnt. It was a third random example to help those who cant use context figure out a baseline. Not the legal min/max allowable.
He stated if you cant wear in public (their base in NA) it's probably nude.
You could use context, comprehension, and a little common sense to know he meant based on the laws or rules followed in the location he or the company is.
You wanted to nit pick about legality in a DIFFERENT country.
So I assumed you had no knowledge of geography. As EU and NA are in complete different locations, but you're acting like the laws are for the same area.
Dont try and change arguments up mid way through again hon. It looks about as good as your feedback while "not playing".
;)
I live in NA and you're allowed to be COMPLETELY nude in some cities as long as you aren't visibly aroused. Bringing laws up, you can definitely argue what is legally appropriate. Growing up in Oregon, you can be naked in a LOT of places and it's fine as long as you aren't harassing people. On top of this state being pretty supportive of a nudist lifestyle, there are many cities in the US that allow full on nudity. It's not a NA thing.

He literally said it in his last phrase: "or if it would be really embarrassing to wear in front of your mother, it's probably not okay"
Talking about nitpicking...
You really seem to take this whole nudity thing way to serious. My apologies, if our free nipples make you uncomfortable.
As far as Canada is concerned(as well as Mexico), I can't speak for the major cities or the beaches, but nudity in that country is pretty explicitly not okay in most any form from what I understand.

so survivors get punishments by trying to survive since it's impossible without swf. yeah GG
It's not impossible. I almost never play SWF. That's truly ridiculous to claim.

Breaking the hook of a survivor you save should be a different perk all in itself, not included in Breakdown
-
I enjoy playing killer, I don't agree that "whenever a killer wants to have fun, players DC". DCing is terrible and i hate when it happens, but its still possible to play killer and have fun.
-
Just played with it and it worked for me.
-
I would LOVE Elvira 😍
-
Left Behind could make it so you open the hatch at the same time as the exit gate, but your aura shines for the killer to see when outside their terror radius.
-
Agreeeeed. I never DC, even if im being taunt by survivors, camped by a killer, or it's laggy. Just play the game. All those things suck, yeah, but don't make the game worse then it already is being.
