Could you make a DBD map creator? and not PC only please.

Could you make a dbd map creator? and not only for PC please.

  • That would be interesting....

Blood Lodge 2 baby! I'm doubling the amount of pallets and making the loops even longer >:D

  • Pretty sure anyone would do a better job at map designing than the devs.

    Ok,that was brutal.

  • I'm saying we be able to make our own maps to invite our friends to and our own style.

  • You know, a map creator and maybe the ability to create custom game modes could be fun. I've been loving playing the workshop creations in Overwatch. Then again, I play normal Overwatch a lot less as a result, so maybe that wouldn't be good for this sized player base.

(I find the Dead by Daylight workshop mode in Overwatch to be a blast.)

Not really, it's simply the truth.

  • The maps would be way worse if players could build their own

  • Well. Lets say the map editor is to be kept simple. What would be needed?

Choosing which objects can go in a tile

    • Basic stuff in every map: "waist-high-loop-stuff" "jungle-gym-walls", hills, trees
    • Killer shack, buildings (would say only buildings that are only available in the game in a simple map editor instead of crafting those from scatch)
    • Location markers for hooks, chests, pallets and theother procedually generated stuff, like closed windows.

Youd need to create a certain number of tiles for the rng to chose from

Then for the actual map editor, you would create a grid out of either random tiles and predetermined tiles (shack and buildings, the big tree for xample). Ohright, choosing a realm to determine the color of the lighting.

    Or something like that.

Also i think maps would need to be officially approved to be to be added into the game (kyf might be an exception)

Something similar with approvement was in Killing Floor 2, there was some community maps in official rotation.

Choosing a realm wouldn't be limited to the lighting.

They're not gonna allow Haddonfield houses in Coldwind Farm or cow trees in The Game.

Once you have a realm, you'll also have selected your wall types, objects, etc.

  • Hey yo dev's get on to what these people are saying.

  • Especially raptorrotas comment.
