DBD logic in horror movies
Can you imagine being a killer...creeping up on a victim...only for them to dart off through a window, turn around, vault through an entirely different window, and just generally run in circles while bobbing up and down and pointing at you. Random things like sudden bursts of speeds, flashes of white light if you manage to hit them, and they miraculously being able to heal themselves by simply touching the wound with their bare hands for less than a minute after you sliced them up with your weapon. I feel like if Jason or Freddy had to put up with this #########, those movies would end after 20 minutes with the killers just giving up and going home.
There of course would be an after credits scene of Freddy checking his mailbox to see letters from hiss would-be victims mocking him

You could say the Killers... Would kill themselves?
Seinfield music plays in the background
Dead by Daylight is a video game, not a horror movie. They have to sacrifice some of the realism to make it fun, unless they wanted to go with completely powerless survivors having to hide all game.
@Redd I completely understand this. The point of this thread isnt to discuss balance over the game, but rather just to have fun at the thought of if the logic in the game was done in the movies that inspired it. Also, the title is DBD logic in horror movies, not the other way around.
If this was horror movie logic in DbD, then there will always be one survivor.
@Redd This may be just a game but it is a game where the killer should be feared (I'm not saying they should be the gods of death), yet being t-bagged signifies they are a absolute joke.
Oh, and everyone would know how to repair Generators.
From the bar brawler David, to the street rat Nea.
@Boss What? you didnt know Pizza delivery was just a side gig for Dwight when he wasnt fixing spaceships for Nasa? Or that Jake was doing online classes at MIT while chilling in the woods? lol.
and all this without so much as needing a wrench. Just shove your hands in this engine and you can fix it no matter how much the killer hits it with a freaking sword.
Killer hits Survivor for the 2nd time
Killer: "Hah, i got you now!"
Survivor:
If this logic was used in a horror movie, t would make a pretty good Geico commercial.
And this is why I learned to play Nurse. Survivor T-Bags At Pallet NURSE SCREECH *Survivor DC's*
@Redd That's Nurse.
The rest of the cast is living in her shadow.
It is more of a high school bully simulator sometimes.
Basically.
I never understood how that worked. I think it goes something like this:
New Survivor: "Where am I? What is this place?"
Veteran Survivor: "Welcome to the Fog. Come sit down at this campfire, you are safe here. Oh and read this." *Drops a manual about generator repair in new survivor's lap*
Texas chainsaw 3D: old Bubba hook Kenny then chainsaw his bottom half
DBD: Bubba hook someone then hook immunity...
It would be a horror comedy where the survivors come out on top for the beginning of the game and when you feel light hearted about a moment then someone gets butchered.
Killers get tea-bagged in all video games because you can't have real fear over a digital killer. This has nothing to do with killers being too weak.
@malloymk Every other Horror game begs to differ.
Lol. Sure, go ask Jason over at F13. Such respect with dance emotes and what not.
Lol! like all horror movies, this game isn't real! there is NO logic in horror movies really because it wouldn't be a horror movie, we all would do the sensible thing, but people in horror movies do and have to do the opoosite to make the horror film good....
If dbd was a horror movie, we would find out at the end that the entity was really Nea all along.
