Then whats the point of playing killer?
Survivor is easier, more relaxing, more rewarding and you even end up with more points.
Survivor is easier - Keep in mind that playing survivor is always the same. Its like mastering a single killer. If you only play for example Huntress for years straight, Huntress becomes also easy. We have now over 20 killers and you basicly have to learn every single one of them. That makes killer in general harder. So i have to disagree to a certain degree here.
More relaxing - 100% true
More rewarding - Dont know about that, i find them equaly rewarding, but i guess this is also a question of taste
More points - As a killer i have most games more points then the best survivor (pointwise)

I havent seen a really good nurse in over a year. But sure.
I admit they are rare these days, most nurse players were not happy with the rework and even less have the time and patient to pump in the hours to master her. But those few i ran in the last few months left me speachless.
She simply lacks of counterplay. LOS is no real counterplay by any means, unless Nurse makes it a guessing game instead of playing correct.

So. To back up your argument im going to quote bruce lee
"I fear not the man who practice 10,000 kicks once, but the man who practice one kick 10,000 times"
So if that nurse became a god, they deserve it.
While the quote might be true, it does not really apply to your reference. Beeing great with one thing should not make this person automatically a winner. A great nurse also destroys 4 great survivors without much effort. In that case she should have a winrate of 50%. Do you see a great nurse have such a low winrate against 4 great survivors, especially when they are solo? I dont.

With pleasure. I learned to play against omniblink nurses. Now the 2 blink version is just laughable to play against.
I am not talking about the average Nurse you run into, i am talking about a really good nurse. I doubt anybody, even so called pro players are able to defeate a really strong nurse when they are not in a group. And even in a group, its very hard to pull off.
I am not a god tier nurse by any means, but even i won most of my games with her. But watching really strong nurse players having 200+ 4ks in a row while they barly loose more then 1 gen on average per game is a good sign, that this killer is still way to powerful.
Be free to confince us otherwise somehow, but without any proof, i call your bluff for now.

"No Killer or their perks are op"
Play 10 games in a row as solo survivor against one of these 5000 hour Nurse Mains and say that again.😂

What the hell does got carried by a busted offering mean?
You are saying that people should get better while you are the one who is complaining about a nerf of an offering that almost guarantees you a free win without any effort. What has using an offering to do with skill in your opinion?

Congratulations!
Also.. 96.1 hours in the last 14 days? You really wanted those achievements very bad :)

Well I say it's dumb as hell, get better at the game and dont get caught twice. There is no point in having to wait until they would die anyway. Thats why it's such a rare offering I thought.

Ironic

I think it would be interesting if billy and cannibale could cut branches and bamboo all together.

Springwood and McMilian rework was good
Ormond was decent and from aestetic point of few very good
Autohaven RIP. Cant believe what they have done with this layout. They hired a butcher to design this map 😪

Have you considered the fact that pallets are actually completely unfair for killers? I mean, I never expect survivors to understand the plight of the common killer, but a completely empty map (though still survivor-sided) is the closest thing we'll ever get to a fair map. And don't even get me started on swf
My favourite color is blue.

Perks like Iron will and Spine chill will help you out a bit.

Nerfing Killers is always happening and maps are getting reworks and revamps.....so I dont see your point? thats 70% can easily be for multiple factors from bad players, bad connections, AFK Players, the "Are you friendly" and etc.
I was dumb founded not confused my short match ever was 5 mins because the survivors wanted to rush me for their friend.
You think? When i look at the patch notes the last... i dont know, 2 years, i find 5 times more survivor nerfs then killer nerfs. Also stuff you speak about like map changes are always chaning in the favour of killers since ages. There has not been a single map buff for survivors since..i dont remember, release?
Those 70% winrate is because of bad players? If survivors are that bad, why would you have a problem winning against them?
Those 70% are because of connection? So if the killer looses his connection at some point, i guess that does not count?
Those 70% are because of AFK players? Killer never go afk?
The 70% come from "farming"? Killers dont want to farm ever, i heard........
People on both sides are equaly bad, equaly afk, equaly dcing and equaly "friendly". If a killer dcs, it effects 5 people, if a survivor dcs, its effect 5 people. And if the survivor plays bad it also effects 5 people.
Like i said, this made up term "genrushing" is as much made up as "killrushing". Its doing the objective fast. You wont get a slowdown on objective if survivors wont get something in return - no matter if you like it or not.
To agree with you on something I also would appreciate if games go longer tho.
-
@MichaelAMyers said:

Kill rushing?......
Yes, kill rushing. I dont understand why you are confused. Genrushing is a term that is as relative as killrushing. Doing the objective as fast as possible.
We have 70% killrate, you wont get genrush fixed unless you nerf killers or buff maps for survivor
-
@MichaelAMyers said:
Does anyone else feel that Gen Rushing is a issue for this community? It makes the gameplay to fast and unnecessary for killers.
"Gen rushing" is a problem of the game, and so is "kill rushing".
As stupid as it might sound... if you want to have genrushing fixed, you have to trade it for killrushing. The killrates are already insanly high, there is no way they gonna just nerf the gens again and leave the killer side untouched.
-

I've already dropped him. He'll get the Nurse, Billy, & upcoming Huntress treatment. I already know it isn't going to go well for him. It's funny how killers ALWAYS have to adapt, and when they do... They're overperforming. You have to "overperform" to stay at red ranks.
The system BHVR created forces you to play a certain way, which is consistent 3K/4K. High rank killers have perfected the playstyle and that's overperforming lol. I'll miss you Freddy.
Thats a matchmaking/embleme problem, not a killer problem.

@Warcrafter4 said:
I'm going to bet he's get "Nursed" just like billy and despite how borderline unplayable he will become people will still say he's op even though they can never prove that he is...
Just like with Nurse and Billy...
Thats okay tho. Both killers are still very strong. They are just a bit harder now to play, but have not lost anything really beside overpowered addons addons like megablink or instasaw. Apparently Nurse is still good enough to pull off 200+ 4ks in a row and barley loosing a generator while doing so.

5 hatchets=110%
4 hatchets=111%
3 hatchets=112%
2 hatchets=113%
1 hatchet=114%
0 hatchets=115%
this would be a great buff to huntress
That would be a great buff indeed. The only thing is, Huntress absolutly does not need a buff.

Yawn you're petty attempt to change what I've said to fit your narritive falls on deaf ears. The matchmaker takes more than just rank into consideration when matching. Rank is used first to decide which groups you should face which is 3-4 above/below. In those players it matches you under a number of other conditions.
Also how mentality toxic is that line; "To just to repeat your own words and how i interpretate them" . Have you considered running for office with that kind of gaslighting, and manipulation? Just to make up the idea I contradicted myself, when I never have. Survivors don't know how to play the game, and it shows.
So you refuse to answer my questions?
If thats the case, fine.. but dont start a topic if you are actually not up for discussion.

But you also say that at your level survivors dont do mistakes at all? Which level is this? I hope we are not speaking about rank 1. If we do... well... i thought survivors are so bad? You contradict yourself unless you talk about tournament level / 0,01%. If thats the case, the obvious answer is obviously that this game should and can not be ballanced around the top 0,01% by any means.

Or it's more likely that the majority of the Survivor playerbase is not good enough. Until I reached the point I am at. I was always really confused why Survivors did more than half the things they did. Then when you get to my level with Killer it's rarely a game Survivors are making mistakes at all. That and the 8 minute que time for Killer isn't fun, because the matchmaker can only really put me against SWF now.
Which if you knew more about the game you would know that SWF is considered in matchmaking.
So just to repeat your own words and how i interpretate them: Survivors on red ranks causes this extrem statistics because they are bad? Therefore in your opinion, the people who player killer are better? Do it get this right?

You have an interesting opinion about what ballanced means.
Good killers have no issue against survivors. Feel free to check out good killers win streaks on twitch who goes into the hundreds of 4Ks without loosing a single match.
The truth is: You are most likely not good enough. Maybe, just maybe its not the games fault that you can not do it, when others can.

i was just pointing out that if you want to easily beat this killer the best way is to have one survivor sit back and keep the killer from getting back her power. m1 killers with no tricks are not that threatening even if it's only for 50* seconds (you have to add the time it takes for victor to regenerate).
without a way to quickly end the chase or apply pressure with map traversal the survivors can win even if one survivor isn't doing gens.
I totally give you that an M1 killer without a decent power would be pointless and killer wont stand a chance, but its a weak argument for justifying a power that is as dull as a killers power like Victor.
I really hope that developers someday regain their ability to creating a strong, fun and also fair killer like Oni, Blight, Huntress, Hillbilly, Ghostface, Doctor or even Demogorgon... those who have a solid but fair power and interesting for both sides.
I want to mention that this new killer is for both sides a fail in my eyes. Alone that you can hard counter victor by just going in a locker... what are they thinking?
-
@megswifey said:
Victor is easy to counter, if he misses an attack he is vulnerable to being curb stomped lol! Also, even when switching to Charlotte, you can hear Victor if he is hiding somewhere to give away survivor's location, so you have a few seconds to punt that twerp (sorry Victor)!!! Good luck in your next matches with them, and remember: Kick!!! That!!! Baby man thing!!!
How is "if the killer misses" a counter? This is relying on bad play, not an actual counter.
-
@AChaoticKiller said:
1) you don't don't take victor off
2) simply keep your team healed
3) have your team keep up gen pressure
this killer is weak AF you just don't know how to verse him.
45 seconds a screaming baby on your back while you can not do anything, sleeping on gens, healing up.. but avoid the chase by any means.
Very exciting and definitly the direction this game should go!
I disagree that the twins are overpowered, but come on.. guys.. people.. do we really need another unfun killer to go against? Wasnt PH and Deathslinger torture enough? At least Blight is interesting, but thats the best the devs came up the last 12 months. So sad.

In about 14 million games.

Again, you know the rank distribution? How many dcs or suicides? How many people threw the game for an archive challenge only? No. You know a couple sets of numbers and you're tying to draw conclusions ceteris parabus, when the state of dbd is the polar opposite of ceteris parabus. There are far too many variables each game for these stats to be used as any sort of conclusion.
Edit: "Ceteris parabus", often used in Economics, it's Latin and means "All other things remain the same." Basically every other variable doesn't change, which is just not the case in dbd.
Did you even read my post? Why do you come with variables and conclusions, it literally makes no sense what you talk.
Like @Madjura more or less translated with numbers, those stats are extremly unlikely to be true, unless you believe that only 0.2 gens get done per match.. on average of course.
-
@Madjura said:

Adding numbers so it becomes easier to understand your post:
50627522 survivors died, 6765882 escaped. Total number of survivors is 57393404. This info comes from the first post on page 1.
Divide that by 4 (because there are always 4 survivors in a game) and you get the number of games: 14348351.
2272978 generators were repaired, source: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1687378#Comment_1687378
The number of generators repaired per game is ~0.16.
Exactly. I think it is extremly unlikely that those numbers are correct. 0.2 Gens on average per game? Ahm.. no, just no.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
Guys according to these stats there's been over 2 million gens done!
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/61TAH06ZOH8W/screenshot-20201018-113303.jpg
Will I give context or how the matches ended or the time period these were collected over or the distribution over ranks? NOPE! You just can see that there's been 2 million gens done, how many trials? Better guess buddy, I sin telling. Just take my word for it and see that there's been this many gens completed and therefore generators need a N E R F.
See the issues with these types of posts?
We know how many survivors escaped and how many were killed, so we know how many games got played. With that statistics, we know now how many generators per match got repaired on average.
Knowing that only 2 million gens in 14 million games got repaird, we can suspect, that those stats are not correct.
-
Thats a creative way to use that perk, but wouldnt a attentive killer know whats going on?
-
@Pulsar said:
It doesn't mean anything, just like the rest of the stats we get. There are WAY too many variables in play for this to be considered a legit statistic.
What ranks were the Survivors? What ranks were the Killers? SWF or no SWF? Mori's or no Mori? Meta perks or meme build?
You get the point.
I doubt this stats are correct, but if they are.. it means that killer overall get way to many kills.
@OBX said:
wonder how many of the 50m were due to the inept attempt at mmr where red rank killers were wiping rank 20s in under 8 mins.
the stats are so worthless at this point. The matchmaking, failed MMR, hook suicide, dc that leaves 3v1, the list goes on and on.
Yea but lets not forget that also killer dc all the time. And dont forget the countless swat teams that destroy baby killers. According to the forum, this is nonstop.
@Leachy_Jr said:
I can already see people drawing conclusions from flawed statistics. Great.
Cant wait to see this used in an argument/debate.
I start with it. If the stats are correct (i doubt this, we knew that killer get 2 many kills but 11% is just insane), we know 1 thing: Killer get overall way to many kills. Across al ranks and skill level, the game is extremly unballanced and very killer sided.
@Slashstreetboy said:
IIRC the last stats we got showed 80% survival rate at rank 1 (skewed due to ranking issues) yet still 60% at rank 2. This alleged insane drop in survival rate makes me wonder if we had a tremendus influx of new players that got wrecked by hardcore killers during the mmr system (r1 killer with 1k+ hrs vs literal 4x rank 20 all the time) or if low rank survivors make up the vast majority of games.
dude, it was the opposite. 80% killrate on rank 1, not survival.

Wait, how would anything I suggested be unfair?
Like, gen speeds penalty could maybe be dialed down later, but how would fixing killer matchmaking and bringing back anti smurf protections be 'unfair'?
Starting to wonder about you, to be honest...
Seriously you twist my words in my mouth.. what i said there is not even related to that posting, but i will answer you anyway.
"Killer matchmaking"... there is no problem with killer matchmaking, there is a problem with matchmaking in general and it has little to nothing to do with ranks. I play both sides 50/50 and i ensure you, there is definitly no killer matchmaking problem. In fact, matchmaking for killer is actually way more forgiving, since it is much more easy to rank up as survivor so if you get survivor on your rank, you have usually a much more easy experience. On top of that, ranking means not a lot so survivor and killer just have to hope that MMR comes soon.
Anti smurf...what? People who want to smurf will always find a way to smurf, there is nothing they can do about it. At least no on PC, you cant do ######### against smurfs on PC.
"Generators take 15% longer to repair for every survivor queued together" - tell me, how should anybody take you serious (beside of the killer main fraction who cheer for everything that is pro killer no matter how ridicilous it is) when you suggest something like that? Play both sides, play both sides on the highest level, and THEN come here and we talk again.

>ANY game that is fun
DbD can be fun even without comms, unless you are a sweaty tryhard who only wants to win every game and bully killers by abusing immunity perks.
>I mean think what you want, but that does not really matter since devs know that survivirs will leave. And they also know that this would kill the game. Pretty obvious to me, guess not for you tho.

DS nerf will kill this game
Pallet vaccumm nerf will kill the game
Removal of exhaustion recovery will kill the game
BnP nerf will inevitably kill the game
Pallet reduction will kill the game
Another DS nerf will surely kill this game
Syringes nerf will kill the game
Yeah, sure.
Lets make this short and answer this questions
1) Do you think people want to play the game with their friends?
2) Do you think there are other multiplayer games apart from DbD?
3) Do you think BHVR need money?
4) Do you think BHVR can not stop communication from 3rd party?

That sounds like a win/win situation to me.
What i am saying is, people play for fun. If it is not fun anymore, they will leave, period. No room for discussion, if oyu think its unfair, thats your problem, but it wont change anytime soon, at least not that drastically.

But here's the thing, they won't. They'll just accept it eventually, especially under pressure from the other sane part of the community and will keep playing, because if they wanted to leave, they wouldn't need SWF nerf.
Yes, they will leave the game for sure, if this is unfair and not enjoyable anymore, why should they stay? Also they are not seeking for another 4v1, they will seek for ANY game that is fun. I mean think what you want, but that does not really matter since devs know that survivirs will leave. And they also know that this would kill the game. Pretty obvious to me, guess not for you tho.

- Plays a mediocre killer and still gets an easy 4K

Oh, where'd the go, what other 4v1 assymetric game could they find which isn't going to die and which has somewhat bearable balance? Oh yeah, right, there's none. Devs should realise that and stop making everything to please "im just playing with friends" bullies
Do you seriously think people play this game because its 4v1 and there are no better alternatives?
-
@StarLost said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1686022#Comment_1686022
Easy:
- Restore killer matchmaking
- Restore anti-smurf measures.
- Killers gain a bonus 25% BP for every survivor queued together.
- Generators take 15% longer to repair for every survivor queued together (or) survivors will have their matchmaking rank increased for every survivor queued together.
Think about it, what will this do with SWF? Very likely most people who enjoy playing with their friends (and many play with their friends) will leave the game and search for a better alternative.
Now the masterquestion: What will this do with the game?
If you think this wont kill the game, you are terrible wrong.

The problem is comms, not SWF.
-Comms replace: Kindred, Bond, Empathie, maps...
-Comms boost: Keys, Object of obsession, Head on, Adrenaline, DS, sabo save, bodyblock save, palett save, flashlight save...
-Comms counter: Totems, Trapper, Hag, any stealthy killer.
And you don't need to be a godlike player to capitalize on this.
I totally agree with you, but how would do deal with Coms? I think there is little to nothing that can be done.

I love how people act like you can't play both sides. I usually play the killer, but that's because I find survivor boring. Holding M1 is boring to me, I play survivor when I want to relax. Killer is an intense experience the entire match.
And it's not like the survivors are helpless victims, you are only helpless in the face of the strongest killers / builds in the game. Other than that? You can still mess the killer up in a 1v1 if you play better than them. That's the appeal of DBD. People who get slaughtered and then cry about just need to play better in most cases, because most killers rely on survivor mistakes.
With helpless i ment you can not defend youself. Killer can hurt survivors but not the way around. This is not a complain, i just give you the answer i think about this topic.
By the way i also play both sides, so i understand also how it feels to be annoyed by 4 little brats, but what has that to do with the question the op has?

Again, it is NOT optional, because there is no way to opt out.
Option:
- "A thing that is or may be chosen."
- "the freedom, power, or right to choose something."
None of these principals apply to the Rift. Therefore, it is not optional. That is not an opinion. It is fact. It is not up to debate, anything more to argue otherwise is just cognitive dissonance, and I'm not going to entertain that. Sorry.
You cannot ignore the Rift. It is about as optional as refusing to eat. You know, that very obvious gnawing sensation in your stomach called 'hunger' when you refuse to do so? You can't just decide to shut off that feeling called hunger and ignore it. Very similarily, you can't just decide to shut off the Rift. Just like the gnawing hunger you're going to feel that is going to be very distracting, so too, will the Rift insistently pop up, annoying you and telling you have unlocked <X> amount of rewards (which is a literal lie the majority of the time if you're on the free track) and continue to try and persuade you to unlock more rewards and then try to entice you to buy into it.
Not only is it not optional, it is manipulative.
Lol sure it is, just because i drive by McDonalds every day i dont have to eat that #########. You are a human with a brain and a free will. Use this amazing power. If you cant, you are very likely addiced as hell and you might need help. Thats it.
This is a game for adults and most have no problem with addiction. Almost everyone sees the event and the rift pass as a fun little extra... which it is.
And it is definitly nothing to worry about. Its about cosmetics, absolutly meaningless stuff, no matter how many hours you have invested. If you seriously think this has more meaning then that, im really sorry for you. No offense.

I have lots of friends that literally stopped playing DbD because they got tired of the game after completing those infinite rift challenges. They don’t have the mood to play anymore, it’s sad!
So you seriously think they would be still around if the rift challanges would not excist?

Uh, no. The first event was done for actual entertainment. Now they're recycling the system to monetize it. I literally said that outright. There's no cause for speculation -- I literally said what they are doing.
I don't think the pass is burning out people. It is burning out people. Lots of people, after every pass, people complain about feeling burnt out by it. This is not a new thing. It literally happens every pass and more and more people say it each time because it's exhausting. It happened to me when I gave the first pass a fair go (got all the way to 70). Never did that ######### again. Literally felt like I was doing a job; playing a game.
The Rift pass is not "free". Getting a bunch of crappy charms and the odd 900 iridescent shard recolor after 80 hours or so of rift grinding is not exactly a reward. Imagine you worked 80 hours at a factory and for a job well done, I gave you a banana and claimed it was a free reward. You better appreciate that damn banana. Anything of actual real value is in the premium pass.
The Rift is also not optional. There is no option to turn it off, and the game, will pester you about it after every match. "Look at your progress on getting a rift shard! You've unlocked new rewards in the rift! Click here to see them! (literally 8 times out of 9, you will unlock literally an empty square). It literally even blocks the chat after every match, so you have to acknowledge the god damn thing to make it go away. Of course, clicking on this pop up will immediately take you to the battle pass, showing you all the exclusive ######### you're missing out on for not dropping ten bucks on it.
Seriously, following traffic laws is more optional than the Rift. At least I have the option of ignoring traffic laws. Will get in trouble for it, but they're literally more ignorable than that damn battle pass.
You say you wonder why people keep playing -- tell you what, invest thousands of hours into something, hundreds of dollars (maybe even a thousand dollars), and see if it's easy for you to just walk away from it.
That's literally the point. That's why it's called "player engagement". These games get you invested into them, and walking away becomes INSANELY difficult. People don't want all of that money and time to be 'for nothing'. It's literally a trap. Even if people are unhappy, most won't leave, because sometimes they literally cannot afford to leave. Sunken Cost Fallacy. Look it up.
You can keep thinking whatever you want. I respect your opinion -- but please respect others' opinions who are not happy about the current state of the game.
The rift is 100% optional and no matter what you say will change that. Why should anybody be burned out by something like this? I dont think you have a problem with the rift or the event, you have a problem with gaming in general and thats something devs can not fix. If you can not even ignore the rift, its best to quit the game, no offense. And i say that as someone who already has over 3.500 hours in DbD.
EDIT: You are right with one thing: The game has problems, but rift pass, cosmetics and events are extremly low prioritys.

Two years ago, Halloween event provided a bunch of cosmetics, a unique objective, and you could get two free skins of your choice, which could be done in a week (even with the problems the event had -- which they fixed to make it easier). The game atmosphere during this time had uniquely made assets just for the occasion, a new storyline, new cutscenes. All of this was for free.
Last year, you had to grind at least a month worth of games while fulfilling overly dull and repetitive tasks (disturb a crow 50 times -- was a lot of fun getting six killers in a row who just ran around the map ignoring the survivors and not interacting with them) with no unique actual objectives related for the holiday system. All of this was implemented into a system designed to be monetized and it's a system we still have today. Also, unlike the year previous, instead of all the skins being free, some were locked off the bat behind a pay wall, with no chance to get them without paying and making it timed exclusive so if you want that skin now and don't want to miss out, better pucker up that wallet, sweetheart.
This year, they are doing what they did last year again, except this time, they are literally recycling the uniqueness of the event two years ago to perform a test for the monetization system they invented last year so they can take it a step further -- which will kind of kill the uniqueness of it, when it becomes literally a standardized game mechanic only to exist so they can sell more rift passes which people are slowly starting to stop buying because it's ######### boring and to nobody's surprise, people are getting burned out due to how insistent and lengthy constantly needing to grind it is with almost no down time in between tomes.
So do i get you right, you think the first event was entertaining because it was fresh, new and done quick and now its boring because its the same from the first year with more grind?
You think the rift pass is burning out people? So, why would you / they keep doing it? Why would anybody care about the rift pass? Its free, its optional it does not give you any advantage because its just a bunch of cosmetics that does not help you in the game. Why should you do it, if you dont like it?
I think people who complain about this event should seriously ask themself why they even play the game anymore.
If i could trade slightly better ballance for those events, i would gladly do it, because its what matters.. not a event that gives you skins and bloodpoints..

All you need to do is look at how DBD did events years ago to how they are doing events now to see there has been an ever growing problem with the direction the game has been going in.
DBD then was a game that was built upon providing player entertainment.
DBD now is a game that is built upon providing player engagement.
You are more than welcome to not like somebody all you want for whatever reason, but it still doesn't change the facts of where BHVR's agenda and priorities in the last year have lied, and well, he has the right to be upset about that. I sure as hell am. I'm so upset with it, that it caused me to quit playing a game I otherwise would love and had already invested over a thousand hours in.
Really you think that way?
So, if you dont mind, can you tell us what the big difference between now and then are? Not by saying "in the past everything was better". Just what exactly was better? Where do you see the entertainment value and where do you see now the engagement?
And why should that be important?
Also, it is not that i dont like the individual we were talking about, its just that he is only complaining for the sake of complaining. I mean ######### apparently the games problem are devs wasting time creating skins, now its the opposite? Where is my facepalm meme picture?

I stopped playing the game, but as someone who absolutely despises the rift, having the event locked behind the rift/archives itself (just like last year which also pissed me off) is well, just dumb. I was annoyed that if I wanted Blight Nurse, I had to pop up $10 dollars for an "event" cosmetic and then grind a good 150~200 hours worth of matches just the get her (I didn't pop the $10 btw, because I don't support things I dislike).
Dunno about you, but events should be fun and rewarding, something to be excited about.
To me, it sounds like the event is little more than an advertisement for a skin. So instead of an actual event, we just have a marketing stunt that is disguised as an event to test the waters so they can further develop the archive/rift so they can milk people for more of their money for their battlepass.
Wowee. So generous.
Look at the OP. All he does since years is complaining that the devs are ignoring the BIG issues and instead they focus on Skins and other uesless stuff... and now suddendly, he wants to start a rant because they dont do enough skins and events. HOW can we blame the devs that they wont take us serious if we have people here who act like that? Tell me.

Nice constructive commentary you got there.
You completely missed the point that the OP was making. He wasn't complaining about what was being given, but HOW it was being given. Maybe next time read through the post a few times before jumping down someone's throat with a knee-jerk reaction.
I dont miss anything, people are complaining that they get free stuff and sutff you CAN buy. Its optional. Why would anybody complain about skins that cost money? Makes no sense to me.
I know... this is the forum, where the top 1% complainers are summond (including me complaining about complainers) but do we really have to discuss about free stuff and a event which does not have to occure? Take the medkit, be happy and run and if you dont like it, leave it.

Between Mori and Left for dead by teammates. Oh and Bled out is also annoying.

Some people only like the interaction with other players. For those dbd is simply the wrong game.
Or play killer where you have interaction with other players all the time.
