It's very stupid when I get face camped and tunnelled but manage to loop the killer for 5 gens and I do not escape but I still de-pip hows that my fault that I did not work on gens or heal teammates while I'm absolutely clapping this killer.

Its universally known, that the pip system is garbage.

The advice i can give you: Ignore the rank, it does not representate your skill anyway.

I am beiing objective though. Their powers aren't free "I win chase passively", that's what old Legion used to do and why he was reworked as everyone agreeded he was BS in a chase, these killers they have conditions to meet and require to properly use their powers to win chases.

Counterplay is there, it's very risky (vs the best chase killers) and not reliable and that's exactly as it should be. M1 killers have reliable counterplay as they can chase a very good looper for 5 minutes and not catch him if he plays out the map safely yet why aren't more people asking to remove all safe pallets from the game completely on all maps ? They're the same side of the coin that has 0 counterplay for M1 killer but for survivors but almost no one asks to fix them, yet they all want to ger rid of "unfair" chase killers.

These killers pose a risk and demand you to make a risky read on them to beat them, if you don't feel like taking a chance since you aren't confident in your ability to predict the current killer you face (either he's just too good at using his power or just plays unpredictably etc) you can play it safely and pre drop a pallet.

DBD forces players to make 50/50s in chase all the time, even against M1 killers in unsafe loops but there taking educated guess is ok while taking a 50/50 against a cornet shot vs slinger is somehow different. Please, don't be ridiculous.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. FUN IS SUBJECTIVE.

If you don't like some strong chase killers doesn't mean there aren't others who enjoy them. The killers are fine, not a single killer in DBD wins chases passively just because their power is too strong in chase. None of them need a rework, players just need to get over themselfs and realise that we all have different preferences and it's unrealistic to expet all killers to please everyone with their gameplay.

You might be wrong with most of that, at least in my opinion, but you are right with one thing: Fun is indeed subjective. But when the majority dislikes a certain type of killer (and we should not fool ourself now, those killers ARE disliked the most) we should be free to say that this trend has to stop. Which is the point of the topic anyway :)

I think there's absolutely nothing wrong with some killers having control in chase. It's good have a variety of killers with different strengths and weakness.

It would be a shame if every killer had the same threat in chase, because some survivors can't stand losing to better players.

I think there is a lot wrong with killers that have full control in a chase. Same with killers that have 2 little control in chase against survivors.

Talking about variety. 5 out of the last 7 killers have range attack. Variety.. :(

If you don't care if a skilled killer wins the chase, then there are no issues with Deathslinger and Twins.

If you think there is an issue, it's because you don't think a killer should have any control in a chase.

So, you think the killer should have full control in a chase? Is this what you are trying to say?

  • @Crowman said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2316676#Comment_2316676

But you are trying to push for killers who can't control chases themselves and have to rely on survivor mistakes to win.

Like you are just showing you are bias against killers and want to deny a killer's skill because it's unfair to you.

    My goodness.

So because i would love to see more Onis, more Blights or more Billys (who are clearly stronger then Slinger or Twins) i am biased?

Could it be that you think the killer should have full control in a chase, no matter how good the survivor is? You sound like that kind of person, sorry to say that.

Survivors are not supposed to 'win chases'.

They're supposed to buy their team time to get gens done, then hope their team is altruistic enough to unhook them when they, eventually, get caught. They buy time by extending a chase, not win it.

Winning a chase does not mean they should never get caught... obviously...

  • @DwarvenTavern said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2316676#Comment_2316676

Exactly, it can be applied to everything. Why is that those ones in particular are the issue?

    Simple:

If those killers i mentioned are played well, they win the chase, no matter how good the survivor is, end of the story. As survivor you have to 100% rely on the killers mistake. Thats the reason why survivor play "boring" against those type of killers so they can avoid the chase in general.

On the other hand, a Billy or a Blight for example have some sort of strenght measurement with the survivor. The better player wins the chase.

  • Trapper is almost fine, he just needs the brown or yellow bag by default and he can be a decent killer.

The biggest weakness is that he is map dependent (like many killer) but thats more a map problem and not a Trapper problem.

They stay interactive IF they make mistakes, same goes for slinger / twins. I'll just never understand why do people think that one strong chase killer can be outplayed while another one can't be.

What do you do in a short loop vs slinger ? You duck or stop at breakpoints where you think he'll probably shoot or try to mindgame with a pallet stun. Very risky and unlikely to be won by a survivor but that's because they're in a loop that favors the killer, once in shack or a jungle gym, it gets significantly easier as high walls allow you to stall him much longer if you undestand how he works and play your cards right.

What do you do in a sgor loop vs blight ? You pray to gods that he doesn't have direct close by rubble to bounce off (which at least 75% of the time he has) as that's give him a hit the same way slinger gets it, very favored towards him, 100% on him to miss basically. If he doesn't have easy rubble to bounce off, you loop him for 2-3 round, drop pallet, he breaks it and is instantly on you againt forcing you to dodge a rush attack that's extremly favored towards him. Again, in jungle gyms, shack etc, it gets fairer as those structures have more stuff to work with.

For both, the interactivity comes from predicting what they'll do which is hard and unreliable if they play well. Both have high enough skill requirements to not just get hits for free, just the mindgames looks different but in the end, play out about the same as their powers are very strong in chase when mastered.

I'll just never be able to agree with these statements that some strong chase killers are fair while others are unfair when their powers can earn hits about the same, just with a different flavor.

For me, they're all fun as there's nothing more boring then looping powerless M1 killer imo. I'll be glad to take and enjoy all the killers with active chase powers, be it slingers, blights, PHs, nurses or spirits.

I think this is a very weak argument... "They stay interactive IF they make mistakes"... this can be applied to pretty much anything.

If one side has to fully rely on that the other side is doing a mistake we have a problem. And i am aware that this goes both ways.

The problem we face is, that the best strategy to win against those killers i mentioned are very very boring (okay, this is my POV but i can not imagine that hiding in a bush or predrop pallet and run is more fun then an actual chase), and we should all work on ideas instead of defending a role because we like them more (and want them to get buffed or whatever)

    Stay objective please.

  • @Crowman said:

Is it really a problem that killers like Twins and Deathslinger that require skillfully gameplay from the killer's part can dominate chases? Deathslinger and Twins do get punished when they fail and survivors still have tools against those killers.

Pallets can still pose an issue for Deathslinger and it's possible to mindgame Deathslinger into taking bad shots.

Twins missing attacks with Victor can be punished by crushing victor and staying grouped can prevent a twins player from snowballing with Victor.

The best counterplay you have vs from example Slinger is to run premature and then predrop a pallet before he is even close.. and then repeat. Is this fun for you or anyone else?

I've really seen it all now! Killers who are complaining about when survivors "hold W"? Seriously???

And the fact that it's being called a "meta"? BAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHA ROTFLMAO

Last time I checked movement was a pretty universal game mechanic. So. . . I guess that makes it meta?

Killer mains these days are something else. And all this time I thought survivors were the ones with all the petty complaints.

P.S. I play both sides and I just have fun. Maybe try not taking the game so seriously people?

The reason Killer mains complain about this is because its boring.

And so are most recent killers. Survivors deal with Non-interactive killers like Twins or Slinger by... not interacting with them. Run, predriop Pallet, run... Thats why the majority agree those killers have bad design. Eventually, also killer now get the feel after most survivors learned to adept.

Non interactive stuff is always bad.

So ? If you're falling for each raising of the gun, you're mindgaming yourself unnecessarily.

That's part of the power you can't get rid of unless you'd want to trash him or completely rework him which both won't happen. From medium/long range, you have enough time for slight strafe to throw him off without wasting distance, if you're close you're as dead as you would be againt nurse or huntress. Either way, you can't just dodge randomly but at the time you think he'll shoot, not each time he fakes it, it's a prediction, not a reaction like with M1 killers.

I get it, you dislike these kinds of killers which fine but their design isn't fundementaly broken in any way. You can always make an argument that this or that killer is unfair as long as they play perfectly which is about as rare as facing top 0,1% SWF, no killer plays perfectly.

I'll end it here since I think it's best to agree to disagree.

    Mindgaming yourself. Right

So, if he had shot, you would have replied he should have ducked?

EDIT: I never said they are broken. But they are very bad for the game. Short and non interactive chases with killers like these is not a good experience as i have already proven nor is it good game design.

Compensating "balance" with slow killer movement for some nice juicy walking simulator is the icing on the cake.

  • @Laluzi said:

Your definition of fun seems to be specifically 'if the killer can be looped very successfully by playing Ring Around the Rosie around the same structure 6x before throwing the pallet and moving onto the next one', and all the killers you take issue with are ones that force the survivor to move on much earlier by making vaults and pallet drops unsafe if the killer is facing you from a short distance away when you take it.

Thing is, running in circles wasn't exactly fun for the killer when the survivor was any good at it, so I have to question if this definition of 'unfun' even matters. I have way more fun playing these types of killers because I'm allowed to be more chill about it and I have more options when faced with a very skilled survivor - meanwhile, smart survivors will use different kinds of maneuvers to evade me and burn my time. (For the record, I find Nurse the most fun killer to run from, and she'll kill you in 0.5 seconds if you try to standard loop her. Can't loop =/= boring.) If other killers with weaker chase powers have other benefits, and picking a killer who can end a chase early isn't an instant game win for the killer, I don't really see how this is a problem.

The only killer in this list that I have issues with are the Twins, and that list of complaints goes well beyond chase interactivity with Victor.

Pretty much the same as a said to Kebek.

I dont get whats so hard to understand. Just think about this:

Deathslinger Scenario: Slinger walks ages from one chase to the other. Boring. Ends chase in a few seconds as soon as he is close. Boring. Survivors sit on gens, get short chases. Boring

Hillbilly Scenario: Billy zooms around map within seconds. Fun. Ends chase after half a minute or sometimes a bit longer when the survivor is much better then the billy. Fun. Does it again.

The boring part of a Billy gameplay is super short, but the fun part, the chase, is longer and especially MUCH MUCH MUCH more interactive. How can a match against a Deathslinger be as much fun as a match vs a Billy for example?

Maybe it is just me, but i play the game because of chase and NOT because i like walking around as a killer for ages or hid in a bush as survivor.

  • @Kebek said:

What ? You think Blight and Oni don't have the ability to dominate chase as hard as killers like twins or slinger assuming they play extremely well, just like correctly played slinger or twins ?

Of course they do, perfectly played Oni and Blight are just as impossible to beat in chase as is slinger. That's the thing though, nobody plays any of all the killers you mentioned perfectly, everyone makes mistakes playing them as their power's all have some weaknesses and require killers to outplay a survivor, they're not just a free "I win the chase pasively" like old legion was, they need to predict a survivor correctly or get them into unfavorable spot for their powers to work.

Honestly, people are just cherry picking which killers they don't like and tell their powers are problematic while ignoring the the same things for other killers they don't mind. Don't pretend like blight or Oni are in A tier or even S tier while beiing weaker in chase then killers like slinger or twins. They're not, in almost all loops, good blight can force a free hit if he's playing perfectly that requires survivors to make the same prediction he needs to do vs slinger, very reliant on killer failing at a mindgame that's in their favor.

There's nothing wron with any of these killers, some people don't like facing them, others do. All of them require intelligent imput from the killer to earn a hit and have limitation and weaknesses survivors can exploit to beat them even if odds are stacked against them (which makes it ever more satisfying).

I would agree that we've had a lot of chase oriented killers lately and something more original or just different would be nice to see but there's nothing wrong with them. Strong chase killers were in DBD since the beggining, that's nothing new and calling something "unfair" or "unfun" is a argument more based on personal preferences then actul objectivity.

    You missunderstood that point.

A Blight or Oni can not only win chases, they are very powerful aswell. BUT and this is the thing, the chase stays interactive (which you cant say about Twins for example). Against a good Blight, the survivor can still win a chase by outplaying him - this is simply not the case against a Deathslinger. As soon as you are in range, you get hit, no matter what.

That is also why people seem to talk about "W Meta". Dealing with a Slingerish Killer: Press W as slong as it goes, drop the pallet.... repeate. No wonder that we have that now... with those type of killers. Because of interaction = loose survivor.

You are right with one thing.. we always had that in the past, but it is getting overwhelming now... AND like i said, the game is 5 years old, shouldnt they finally learn from their mistake?

Sure, it is my personal taste, but have you ever heard anyone say "Oh nice, Twins... i love chases against Victor, they are so much fun and interactive". I dont.

  • You actually name the reasons why people dislike Slinger:

"Doging his gun the best you can" - You cant. He is missing, you are not dodging. Leaving ALL in the hand of the killer.

"Throwing pallets early" - Extremly boring. The same reason why many people dislike Clown.

On top of that, he has a very small terror radius. This on a killer who can quick scope with a long range rifle in a game where the opposite site is not able to shoot back is annoying and not to mention totally out of place.

  • I left months ago only coming back for short moments just to realise they did not change anything. Wish you all the best for your DBD free life :)

Competent enough, but purely judge a killer on their strength in a loop? Better players can still loop a PH he did receive a nerf, twins can be countered by teamwork and that type of behavior.

It is funny that the killers you like are those with map mobility for the majority. You are experienced enough. Different types of killers have different benefits.

Well yes i would say that i clearly got the most fun out of this game by getting chased / looping the killer. If a killer does not provide that, i wont enjoy it.

In the past, we had that with most killers, but the game shifted away to give killer much more control in a chase. Unfortunatly the trend is to give killer more control in a chase rather then map control which is the wrong way to create a good experience for both sides. I dislike that trend and i am basicly here to ask if this trend has stopped and they went back to the original path of the game.

For people who like stealth, Deathslinger or Twins are clearly fun killers to go against, but i am none of them.

The reason why i love killer with high mobility (as survivor and as killer) is because they are by far the best and most exciting killer to play and play against.

A Billy does not have to waste time walking around for ages, he can zoom from gen to gen. On top of that, he can use his ability in the chase. Map awareness and skill with the chainsaw (curving) is crucial to win the game. Same for survivors. You have all the tools against him, but you need to be good enough to use them. A chase is always exciting against a billy because of that, and it is fair. I had countless 5 gen runs against billys and i got destroyed by skilled billys within the first loop, and every outcome was fair and still fun, because i always had the feeling that i or either he deserved it (either he or i did a mistake) The better player wins the chase in almost every situation.

Thanks for your thoughts tho, i appreciate it.

PH got nerfed so he no longer has control of the chase

Nobody and I mean NOBODY plays Twins so there's no need to worry about them. (Ok maybe you'll see 1 in 1000 games but thats the max)

The new killer is by far the weakest killer they have ever released in the history of DBD (no hyperbole)

    Hitboxes are still the same

So I mean it's maybe a little better? but mostly the same.

PH is ok, deathslinger loses most games due to lack of map pressure and twins just suck ATM unless they camp.

Also those killers are chase killers, aside from twins most chase orientated killers lack map pressure. And it's a 4v1 game, they aren't balanced for the 1v1 but they are for the 4v1. You have 4k hours and don't understand this? You've gotta be kidding me.

It's not less toxic, and hitboxes are slightly better.

Overall don't come back if you had issues with the game before, it's not changed much from then, and chase orientated killers are good in the 1v1 so maybe not your game.

First of all no notable change to the community (like what can one expect given the behaviour of many people hidden behind online anonymity).

Second: new killer is overall seen as hot garbage with 110 movement, a ranged power that needs to hit 8 times for a healthstate, has horrible recoil but can be spammed (60 ammo). His power main event can't be used on command (like oni) but just goes off (like corrupt purge for a plague with all dirtied fountains) and has a windup plus cool down. So don't expect too much from the killer or enjoy an easy time as a decent survivor playing against them IF they don't camp.

Third: Atlrast I never heard of improved hit boxes but they managed to clear the mess of the twins update.

Fourth: just in case You don't know, ds was nerfed to deactivate on progressing the game in any way and is now meant as a pure tunnel.protection for the time when they survivor is unhooked and should opt for stealth and finding a save spot to get healed by others or thinks they are save to heal themselves.

Thanks for your opinions, i appreciate them a lot. Seems to be that this game became something i can not enjoy anymore.

    Kind regards

  • @Kalinikta said:

Euhm balanced around 2 players? You do realize that this is a 1v4 game?

I never said that. But it should be clear that there is good and that there is bad killer design. Killers like Oni, Blight, Huntress or Hillbilly are strong if played good, but survivors still have a good chance lasting long in chase when they as good or even better then the killer. Not the case with the killers i mentioned in my first post. I know both sides more then enough that i feel competent to judge.

I know how to play Slinger, i know there is nothing they can do in a chase other then drop the pallet right away. So much fun. And "winning" by genrush is not why i played the game in first place, i want exciting gameplay. Slinger/Twins/PH did not proved that by any means.

    • Nurses calling nerf? Did i miss something? Nothing changed at least the last 2 years. If we talk about nerfs that happend years ago, survivors could also bring up tons of nerfed perks (DS, Selfcare, MoM etc)

It is impossible to get treated like trash from a killer. Getting facecamped by cannibal/bubba is the worst that can happen, and even that scenario you can escape with 3 easily.

Also, have yet to get a crappy message after a game from a killer. Not a single one. It's the survivors that send all the messages. So your response is just wrong.

Technically it is actually the way around, you cant get treated like trash when you are playing killer, unless you are easy to trigger by something silly like flashlight clicking or tbag. Or are you one of those people who think "genrush" an "looping" is considered toxic? If so, dont even bother to reply.

Funny that you mention you have not got a hate msg from a killer yet and plenty from survivors. Now.. just read your own line again... maybe a few times, and think about it, why this is the case. I have faith in you, you will solve that mystery by yourself. If you need help, contact me.

  • You mean as survivor?

It depends a lot about the map, where i spawn and if someone is spawning with me. Also my perks and the killer have impact on that what i do first. So it is always a little bit different and therefore hard to say.

I can tell you what i love to do: Running towards the middle (unless someone else does the same). There i have the best chance of finding the killer so i can loop him for my team. If i dont bump into him (a good sign that he is weak since he is ignoring the middle of the map), i do the middle generator which is often one if not the the most important gen. Getting the middle gen out of the way early is on many maps a win scenario.

Still, then your post is a bait.

Freddy has basically everything, Anti-Loop ability without Cooldown, Slowdown-Add Ons, built-in slowdown (waking up at Clocks), Map Mobility...

He is not as strong as Nurse or Spirit, but it can be discussed if he is one of the Top 5 Killers (many candidates for that). He is way too strong for how easy he is to play.

Dont forget to mention that he also has some sort of stealth mechanic aswell. In dream world, there is no terror radius and outside you cant see him at long distance.

  • Out of curiosity would you tell us why you think he is weak?

We heard everything between Freddy is extremly OP and he is solid, but someone saying he is weak (or one of the weakest) might actually be a first timer.

This is false. Survivors treat killers like trash not because killers treat them in kind, but because they can. Killers can play perfectly, no tunneling, no camping, no slugging, no toxic comments in endgame chats and you would still have survivors acting toxic. Heck, the devs made sure that the new animations wouldn't affect t-bagging because they didn't want to upset survivors and take away from their enjoyment bming the killer at the exit gates or after every pallet stun.

Survivors treat killers like trash because they have a sense of entitlement that the killer is their play thing and has to play a certain way and when they don't, the killer must be punished, be it verbally or in game. Just go play killer against a swf bully squad that out match you and give up, literally just go stand in a corner and they will drag the game out as long as possible. Heck, pretend that you are a total noob and you will see that they will drag out the match just to mess with you since you're no threat.

Not long ago, i had a game against an unexperiecend killer. The gens went fast and he chased me for quite a while, not able to catch me. In the end before we opend the gate my friend and i thought we give him some free hooks simply because of good sportsmanship and so he gets some bloodpoints aswell. The 2 randoms joined us under a hook. The end of the story was that we all got downed and he let us bleed out. In the endgame chat we got insulted for genrush and how unfair the game is.

No side is better then the other. Many survivors try to play as scummy as possible and many killer try to play as scummy as possible. And.. like i said... the reason for that is because they got treated like ######### in games before. Arguments can be made for both sides.

Hey folks! I made my first post about how I like to let survivors go a while back. Just wanted to come back to say that survivors treat me like trash no matter how fair I play.

Thus I have decided to be toxic back. When survivors t bag. Or switch items last second so I can’t pick perks to counter. Or are clearly using voice coms(Not for fun but to sweat and coordinate like crazy) as a 4 man swf (not cheating but incredibly unbalanced) I tunnel and face camp them!

It feels great. Especially the voice com using swf. They come into the game with 2 flashlights, 2 toolboxes, bond, everyone running decisive and borrowed time, hook sabo for days, t bagging flashlight clicking etc... Then they complain that they got camped. I love reading all the hate filled messages after. I hate this game. The people that play it are trash and they have made me trash.

The main reason survivors treat you like trash is because they get treated like trash from killers. The same type of killers that you have now become.

Welcome to the wishes circle of toxicness.

In fact he can use his claws as a weapon, his power would have to do with the balloons or I know, I just know that people do not want him for fear of his power, perks and even to add a killer much more broken than what it's Freddy. All of that depends on the developers if they want to bring it or not.

Sure, he could use claws, his teeth or smash survivors with a bunch of balloons. The problem is, this would not be true to his character. He is simply not a slasher killer.

It would be like bringing Dr Manhatten into the game and he is using a hammer to down survivors. I hope you get the point what i mean there.

  • Probably because of the Lore.

It would be very likely that IT would enlsave The Entity then the way around. IT is a god in the macroverse where our universe got vomited by a gigantic turtle.

On top of that, i dont see any way on how Pennywise would work. It is not killing people with physical weapons like any other Killer in DbD. I am simply afraid they will try out something crazy which would change the core gameplay to much.

If I were to change the Twins to fix both problems I would make it so

-If Victor is 8 meters within a hooked survivor he dies instantly while idle

-While playing as Victor pressing the action button while standing still will teleport Charlotte to his exact location

-If Victor is destroyed Charlotte gets the enraged mode for the next 30 seconds she moves at 230% speed until Victor comes back

Good idea, but i guess you mean 130% MMS instead of 230%.

  • @TheClownIsKing said:

The thing I hate most is how insanely easy it is for experienced survivors to dodge Victors pounce. Being crushed over and over again from a single miss is the most frustrating and demoralising thing I’ve experienced in this game to date.

Even without knowing the numbers of his pouncing speed, its pretty safe to say that you can not dodge victor as survivor regardless of how good you are as survivor. The human reaction time plus the delay and latency simply prevent reacting to his attack.

What you probably mean is that it is hard to hit a survivor, but if you are spot on, you hit every time unless its a very long range attack.

  • Obviously it is mist.

I don't find chasing fun to be honest, as you are under constant pressure as Killer to end each chase as quickly as possible. Ooops, missed that dead hard after a 15 second injured chase? Well you lost now and literally need to tunnel someone as the other 3 have now got a gen to 80%.

Combine that with safe pallets and loops on certain maps and it's literally a dreadful experience

Then why are you playing the game if you dislike chases? This game is all about chasing survivors / beeing chased by the killer.

I mean the guy in another thread was just telling me how he dislikes killers that don't camp or tunnel when they should as it's part of the game.

People have different preferences on the kind of game they want. All you can do is play how you want; but try and be respectful to others.

I doubt that this guy was serious. Nobody enjoys getting tunneled or camped beside some hardcore masochists

  • @JohnShark said:

Whats the current state of the game? Do you enjoy playing? Are you tired of playing? Do you think they need to change anything? Tell me what you think and leave some suggestions for what they could do. And please, no toxicity, we want nice and civil conversations.

I and everybody who stood with me stopped playing DbD more or less, since we dont enjoy it that much anymore. The game went downhill the last 12 months, mainly because they release extremly unfun killer like Twins, Deathslinger or PH.

To answer that question for you, yes they should change Deathslinger (finally!!!) and also Twins. Remove quickscope for Slinger and change Victor so he can not respawn every 5 seconds or so.

But to be honest, i dont see any light on the horizon and i dont care that much anymore. The Devs knew Deathslinger and PH were extremly problematic and frustrating to verse and yet they released the next very obvious problematic killer in form of the twins. It seems like they are very slow learners.

  • Many here mention that tunneling off the hook is not fun for survivors, but nobody mentions that it is also extremly boring for killer. Tunneling (especially off hook) removes the chase in DbD... and the chase is the point of this game and for most the only fun experience.

I never understood why people even bother playing when the ruin the most fun part of it.

  • @Covens said:

Let's be real here most dbd players are not so good in the game. They do not see the potential abusse of some mechanics and perks. This makes for a bad solo queue experience and general kill rates to go up.

That's why most killers are above the average kill rate to be above 2 kills.

But i Know that if every survivor is decent the game would become a nightmare to play as killer. The only killers that would be played is nurse of spirit which if you din't know are not fun to counter.

So the devs wil never see the issue with the game and balance.

IF every survivor would become decent, we have to assume that also killer would become decent. A decent killer still wins against decent survivors most of the time.

People tend to think killer players are so good and survivors are garbage, but that is simply not true. I see the same ammount of trash killer then trash survivor, even on R1.

  • The short answer is no, it is ballanced for the good players.

    The long answer

The game would be much more survivor sided if they ballance for bad players. It would be also slightly more survivor sided if they ballance for average or even semi good players.

The game at the current state is actually ballanced for the good players. Not the best, but for good.

    • Bad Killer destroy bad survivors
    • Mediocre Killer beat mediocre survivors
    • Good Killer win most of the time against good survivors
    • Best Killer loose or draws against the best survivor

If you are honest its just like that, the statistics we also have from the dev show the same picture. Thinking the game is ballanced for bad players is completly delusional.

  • I mean @ars_perfecta you are right with what you say there, but people come here to complain about an issue. Expecting the issue to be present in every game might make it less miserable but it wont really solve the problem.

Everyone who thinks there are issues should be free to speak, thats why most are here, and it does not really matter what the problem is. Communication with the devs will help them to improve the game.

  • Why Myers only B Tier? Safe the best for last and Play with your food are exzellent perks. In my opinion at least A Tier, rather S.

  • Easy to learn, hard to master. But always ballanced, no matter how good of a player you are.

Best example for that is Hillbilly.

I have no idea. I'm in the Northeast Region of the US. I suppose it could also be a factor of what time of the day I play?

Hard to tell then. I play on the EU server, maybe its much more relaxed here, i really dont know.

Time and the day might be a factor. I noticed for myself that weekends are much worse then during the week. On both sides, people tend to bring better items and are generally more toxic. The reason for that.. i dont know either, but it is true.

I beg to differ. It happens FREQUENTLY to me. I fight these kind of matches often. The difference is I don't complain about them and just kind of say MEH to myself and write down the names. I won't take matches from that list anymore. I have better uses for my time. It could be that I'm a Red Rank Killer. But I see a SWF not unlike the one discussed here at least once or twice a LONG day of playing. I see SWF that are a step or two below this (but still very tough) every day and at least every 3rd or 4th match.

I am not accusing you that you lie or you exaggerate, but its very odd to say the least. In what region do you play?

I am of course also rank 1 as killer and i have many hours playing this role, and i pretty much never run into something like that, not even pre toolbox nerf. Other killer mains i know and i talk with might complain from time to time about hard games, but nobody has any of those hardcore games where they were more or less helpless.

You might be an extremly unlucky person or the region you play is full of tryhard tournament teams.

Do you stream? I would gladly watch you just to see those extreme games you have to deal with.
