Yes it should. How about this:
Insidious:
After getting stunned or blinded you gain 10% Haste for 8/9/10 seconds.
Insidious has a cooldown off 30 seconds.
-
Bamboozle might not be the best perk, but its such a party pooper
Dead Hard last second to reach a pallet is annoying
-
Nurse with both rechard addons, Infectious fright, Star Struck, Leathal Persuer and BBQ.
-
Its Adrenaline, of course its a very good perk, even tho i think some are more useful.
-
For me a bad perk. Its a decent farming perk indeed, but the fact that you can simply bring an item to the trial with addons you want diminish its use (plus i dont think items are curently too powerful)

Old Freddy was nerfed 1 week after his release, because so many survivors complained that he´s not fun to play against. They also disconnected and suicided against him, which drove the kill rate up during the first week.
He got a rework (buff) after 2 years.
So again, people disconnecting, suiciding or complaining about a killer is NO indicator on the killers strength. It wasn´t an indicator back then and it still isn´t an indicator.
Nerfing a killer 2 weeks after release is for sure not a good ballance move (unless it is very obvious) but like i said, Spirit is tormenting survivors since years so the community has enough data and experience to judge.

Old Freddy. The one that had to put everyone to sleep, then wait 7 seconds, before he could interact with them. Thats the Freddy i´m talking about. The one which had among the lowest kill rate. The Freddy most people complained about, because they didn´t find it fun to play against him and therefore suicided or disconnected against him.
Old Freddy got buffed quite a bit because the majority of players thought he was too weak. Has nothing to do with people complaining he was so powerful. And i never had the issue when i played him, can not remember people dcing or suicide when they saw OG Freddy.

I brought up SWF because of the fun part you mentioned.
If Spirit was the unbeatable killing machine everyone claims, wouldn't her kill rate and especially her pick rate be much higher? People like to win, so there would be more people maining her.
Instead I see a lot of people running straight to her, to get downed and then suicide. Or right now simply DC.
I mained old Freddy and I can't count the times he was called OP or pay2win after a match. When in fact he was one of the weaker killers. So the claims of something being OP, doesn't make it OP.
SWF can be discussed aswell.
Spirit is not unbeatable, but she is too powerful, especially in a public match. Her strenght has nothing to do with popularity. People play the killer they enjoy and not the best killer. Nurse was extremly overpowered before the nerf, and she was not even the most popular killer back then.
When they suciced, its a good indicator, that they dont want to play against her, which brings me back to the enjoy topic.
Old Freddy? Are we talking about the first version or after the rework? If its about the After Rework Version.. He was for many overpowered and their claim was supported by stats (he had the highest winrate). When the majority agrees he is overpowered and stats confirm that, he might have actually been. I personally would not necessary agree, but he was in a public match very oppressive. Maybe a little bit to much.

How it ends this time? I'm afraid I never played against Scott. I played once with True, but that's about it. No big streamers I played with or against.
Now regarding to the fun part. Most killers don't enjoy playing against SWF. Especially when they gen rush.
Even more, I'd say there are far more killers that are frustrated because of SWF and gen rushes than there are survivors being frustrated about playing against Spirit.
You know what the "it's not fun to play against her" reminds me off? Original Freddy release. A killer who was weak af, but who got a nerf just 1 week after his release, because survivors complained that he's not fun to play against.
It is a challange he set for everyone "Come at me and show me your counterplay against Spirit". So far, nobody came up with something good. Even a tournament player tried his best and it ended pretty much the same. Drop the pallet right away and hope you are lucky. People dont like this playstyle.
Yes, SWF can be very painful. But what has this to do with Spirit? That SWF also need changes is nothing new.
Welp, Spirit is around for ages and people complaining about her pretty much since her release (the one way or the other). Its not that she is new to the game and people dont know how to handle her.

I mean I like a challenge. And I think a video game should push gamers to change things up. Otherwise things get stale after a while you know? Just elevates the skill curve in this game is all it does.
I like challanges too and thats why i dont play Spirit anymore (no challange in public match, almost always 4K) and instead weak(er) killer.
When i play survivor the Spirit is not my most hated killer, but i see why she is for many. It is a game for everyone, not only for myself, so i stay on the side of people who want her changed.
-
@Tsulan said:
The issue with Spirit is simply that survivors don´t want to adapt their build/playstyle. Spirit is perfectly fine, but will sooner or later receive a nerf, due to survivor complaints.
Once the nerf goes through, the new mmr will probably be live. Which leaves very little breathing room for high skill SWF teams, which will only get matches against Nurse. 24/7 because there is no other killer left that can perform on that skill level. This includes very long queues for said players.
Now regarding the Stridor nerf, it just turns a mediocre perk (because lets face it, no one uses Stridor on any other killer than Spirit) into a trash perk. Which results in Spirit mains switching Stridor for far superior tracking perks like Nurse Calling or Bloodhound. Causing her kill rate to go up and resulting in the above mentioned Spirit nerf.
They dont want to adapt their playstyle, because... drumroll... they dont want to.
It is a game, and it should be enjoyable. If it would be enjoyable to play against a Spirit, nobody would complain.
On top of that, teach them how to play against Spirit, or even better.. show them and challange Scott Jund. Lets see how it ends this time.
-
I am against every 2nd game mode in general. Would split the community in half which will increase the queue times trasticly.
On top of that, this would be just a chore to ballance (and probably never happen)
So if i had to decide if they should or should not implement this, i would never ever advocate it. It might be a nice idea on paper, but in reality, it would hurt the game more then it has use.
-
"Yes, i have played Dead by Daylight" is the correct answer.

How would it be the best? You would be running a perk that screams 'Come cleanse me before you finish the last gen so I don't do anything for the entire match!'
Do you know why some perks are 'invisible' (IE: You can see their effect right away. I know DH has a lit totem) until they activate? (NoED, Devour Hope). It's because their power is in their surprise. If Devour Hope started the match and went 'HE HAS DEVOUR HOPE!' Survivors would 100% cleanse it before doing anything else, and it would become useless to run.
The same goes for NoED; If the match started and there was a symbol screaming 'KILLER HAS NOED!' then Survivors would drop everything to totem hunt. Sure, it buys some time, but the perk would, in most matches, never live to see the end of the match.
And since it does nothing until the end of the match; what would be the point in picking a perk that does nothing and never procs?
The threat of NoED maybe existing is what makes Survivors do totems. Just look at the complaints in this thread; 'It makes me waste time'. Survivors don't want to waste time doing anything but escaping (gens & doors). This is not an insult; they want to do what makes them win, as efficiently as possible. This makes sense.
So if they knew, concretely, that NoED was not in a match, barring other perks (like Ruin); they would ignore totems & slam gens. Don't don't tell me they won't; Survivors don't want to do totems when NoED is an unknown threat, so why would they do totems for funsies if they knew NoED was not around?
(Working with using bolds and italics for emphasis instead of caps)
Yes, thats the reason why it would be so good. Becaus it would scream "cleanse me" ... Just like old ruin. Old Ruin forced survivor to clanse 1 Totem at the start of the match, Noed would force them to cleanse 5 totems before the last gen pops. If that is not the best slowdown perk in the game, i dont know who else it could be.
You know why Noed is so disliked? Because it exists. It is a single perk (out of 78 perks) that has the power to change the entire game (not the round, the game) just because of its existence. People clease dull totems because the killer could run noed. Could. I see some parelles here with other very disliked perks: Unbreakable or DS.

I don't use caps to shout. Think of it more as stressing/emphasizing those words. Text can only do so much.
And you're ignoring the other two-thirds of knowing if NoED exists:
- Survivors will know it exists, and waste time doing totems, sure. You are right.
- Survivors will know it DOES NOT (again, emphases, not yelling) exist, and ignore totems to speedrun gens without worry.
- Survivors will know it exists, and do bones, and thus it will NEVER make it to end game.
So, in 2 out of 3 results, knowing NoED is in a match completely negates its effectiveness. In fact, it downright nerfs it into uselessness.
It either never activates, because Survivors knew to do bones before popping the 5th gen, or Survivors know it's not a current threat, and never risk doing bones.
It's like Survivors just can't understand that the thread of NoED is exactly how it is to make them do bones no matter what. It was BHVR's fix for gen speeds. Changing it would undo that fix and nerf NoED into the dirt.
No Killer would use a perk that does nothing all match, tells the Survivors it exists before it has any use, and thus never sees end game.
I would definitly run it, if they decide to make that change. It would be the best slowdown perk in the game.
The reason why noed is so beloved by killers (and hated by survivors) is because it slows down the game anyway (usually a few totems will get cleansed in the process somehow) but eventually, 1-2 remain and the perk activates regardless of the survivors effort.

So killers have to play risk/reward (with DS, BT, Dead Hard, Adrenaline, etc) but survivors don't have to?
And y'all's interpretation of how all the totems get cleansed is so linear and unrealistic. You don't just run around the map getting all the totems and then decide to do gens. You do a totem near the gen, then get on it and finish it, and maybe you even have Inner Strength which is extra payoff for the time you spent doing the totems. Rinse and repeat that, and the gen speed will only be slightly slowed down. 1 person doing a totem doesn't turn it into a 3v1 match, because you're still in there in between totem breaks. You can still do gens, heal, and take chases. Not every match do you need to do totems either. If you know 3 or 4 of the killer's perks, or he's an actual good killer, you can conclude that he doesn't have NOED. In the case that you get a bad killer who will obviously have NOED, you have more than enough time to get all of the totems.
And survivors do get a notification for NOED, once the killer's gotten a down with it, or even before that if you see that the totem is lit.
Your whataboutism is out of place. I never said DS BT etc is fine. Its about noed, thank you :)
Does it matter if it is one survivor who is cleansing all the totems or done by all 4? It takes a lot of time to find them all, probably more time survivors can spare if the killers skill is on par with the survivors skilllevel.
It might all work out if you play in a coordinated team, but especially for solo players it would be a complelty stupid move to spend even a second looking for dull totems. you can not trust your team is doing them aswell, you have no idea how many totems are still around and where they have been done... and last but not least, you dont know if you simply wasting your time your team wont have.
Please dont forget, that a regular round looks like this: One survivor chased, one on the hook, one is safing/healing ... and one should actually do the gens. Not that easy to find time for hunting a ghost.
A notification or a full rework is what will happen, for reasons.
-
@Power_Guy said:

No. This would make NoED garbage.
Survivors would not have to cleanse, if they knew NoED did not exist in a match. And thus they would just genrush.
How many times do I have to say it; NoED being an unknown threat IS ITS PURPOSE. It exists like this to SLOW DOWN GEN SPEEDS.
If Survivors knew they could ignore totems, then NoED may as well not exist anymore.
Either do bones or don't; That's YOUR call. And you get punished or not if you make the right call or not. This is not rocket science.
Writing everything in big letters wont make your argument more valid, Captain Caps-Lock.
If the survivors know that the killer runs noed, it will actually encourage them to do totems and in the process it will slow down the game instead of rushing the gens, or they will suffer the consequences.
I dont mind Noed as survivor and i never use it as a killer, but i can understand the complains about it. Noed somehow feels as cheap as the very old DS we had like 3 years ago. Outdated perk.
-
Thats the problem here.
Risk and reward is not ballanced at all.
50% of the time, survivors do dull totems even the killer does not have it.
The other 50% he might have it, but they cant find the last totem or are slaughtered in the process. It is underrated how much time it takes to cleanse 5 totems. This is basicly a full survivor doing nothing for 3 minutes at least, even with totem finding perks. Survivors can not afford playing 3v1 for a big part of the round just to neutralize a single perk that might not even be used by the killer.
My suggestion for noed: Give the survivor a notification, that the killer runs Noed, then they can decide what to do by themselve.
-
In my opinion Wraith is the best and also the most fun of those 3. He is and also always was the most enjoyable... just a fun killer overall, espcially because he can zoom around the map so quick.
-
Guess its time for me to do some shape games (before survivor forget how he even looks)😊

Correct. I would say that overall maps are heavily survivor sided aside from a few of them.
Even the remakes that supposedly favor killers or are balanced. I heavily disagree with that. The coldwind remakes are complete trash and survivor sided.
The Badhams got reworked and they're complete trash and survivor sided
The game got reworked and it's trash and survivor sided.
The only good remakes were the MacMillain. And while theres some good ones. Groaning storehouse makes me groan every time.
Cant believe that you think maps have not changed in favour of killer. It is so obvous. I am not saying that those maps are all killer sided now, but compared to the past, the new maps and rework maps were definitly changed so they please killer more, pretty much every single one of them. But hey, lets agree we disagree :)

Welp. Well disagree on most things
Sanctum, Underground, Dead Dawg are slightly killer sided/balanced. Well enough where if you play like ######### you'll lose.
Midwhich isn't the best for a lot of killers. Especially ones that can't navigate the floors that well. I'd call it slightly survivor sided depending on the killer. But balanced for the killers who can navigate the floors well as long as you play well.
AutoHaven and MacMillain do indeed have the most balance between being fair. Aside from groaning storehouse and blood lodge (I think that's it) and of course Shelterless woods for killers.
Ormond is survivor sided in almost every way. Scratch marks are hard to see. The map is huge. There's strong jungle gyms + god pallets. Depending on RNG. There's 3 god pallets upstairs in the main building
The coldwind remakes are complete #########. They're too bright you cant see auras or well...anything. The corn blindness is real. The maps are huge. The jungle gyms are huge now and the windows are so strong you can't mind game them. Let alone the Cowsheds.
I can't recall which asylum it is that has the 3gen at the circus. But just because it has a strong 3 gen you can protect. Doesn't mean it's a good balanced map. Those maps are huge. The main building is strong. Especially on one of them (father's chapel I think ?) It's far from a killer sided.
Badham maps are total trash. You have the god house. You have the school that's rediculously strong. Even the house with the solo gen is strong. Beings it has a god pallet on top of a drop down that you can then go through then the window. And the maps are pretty huge too. Those maps are the epitomy of survivor sided.
I'm not sure which DBD you're playing. But the game map.. How is a map with like 30 god pallets balanced.
So if we agree with each other or not does not really matter but the discussion if maps are getting more killersided then they used to be is answered. Or would you say that the last 5 maps are in any way survivor sided? They are at best.. even from a diehard killer main pov.. ballanced or slightly killer sided. And so are the reworks, not a single reworked favoured survivor and multible reworks became more killer sided then they used to be.
If you or me think that this killer buff in terms of maps is enough now is not really the question, we have plenty of discussions about that aswell, but the op is right with that: Killer definitly got the better end with the new maps and the reworks for sure.

Haddonfield: You can completly counter Myers House top floor window by faulting and then lunging right after. Its far enough that you drop off almost instantly. You safe more then a second by doing so and therefore the survivor wont make it upstairs anymore.

.....Have you played Badham 1-5, Coldwind remakes, HadonHell , The Game, Ormond, etc
There's like....4-5 maps total I'd consider balanced or killer sided. So how are maps becoming killer sided exactly...? When maps are a big reason reason why this game IS survivor sided
You think?
Lets check the last maps together:
Sanctum of Wrath: Killer sided no doubt
Underground complex: Killer sided no doubt
Dead Dawg Saloon: Killer sided no doubt
Midwich: Killer sided (for the majority of killers)
R.C.P.S: Difficult to say at this point, but indoor usually favours killer
Map reworks:
McMillan: Pretty much the same, some favour killer, some survivor, some are equal
Autohave: Most of them used to be more survivor sided, now way more ballanced
Coldwind farm: Majority used to be very survivor sided, no more ballanced
Ormond: Used to be very survivor sided, now way more ballanced overall
Chapel: Used to be killer sided or equal, still the same
Disturbed ward: Used to be survivor sided, now pretty much equal. Some claim its killer sided, but i disagree.
And yes, i have played Badham and they are pretty ballanced overall. Haddonfield is a map they need to rework, because its survivor sided. And if you think Game is survivor sided... well... we might actually play a different version of DbD.

This is not a killer forum.
Sigh
Most of the people here play both sides.
@m1lly the noob stomping stops once the killer gets to purple ranks. Then survivors are the uncontested power role.
"Most of the people here claim they play both sides." i fixed that for you.
Topic: If you say nerf killer, do you mean killer in general or only specific ones?
I totally agree if you mean the top tier killer like Nurse or Spirit, but other ones like Doctor, Blight or Oni and many others are fine imo. Some even might need a small buff, for example Legion or Trickster.
You are right with one thing tho: This game is getting more killer sided, especially the maps. Some claim it is neccessary, but i would not agree with that at all. Not before Solo-Q is buffed.
-
Meh, this argument stinks to heaven and beyond. And so is your philosophy of experience.
We are not only responsible for ourself but also have to take care for our surrounding a little bit. Gaming is a society so we should try to bring both things under a hat. My fun and the fun for everyone else. That does not mean that i have to bow for the other side, but at least question if it is really that neccessary to ruin someones game by camping him to death or tbag after every loop.
Make this game a better experience by at least TRYING to have a good time.

I’m not new to the game. Every chapter there are more characters to grind, and it’s getting out of control
Yes indeed there is a lot to grind, but what else would there be to do other then play the game? I know how this sounds but like i said, humas need that..
Personally i think the grind is ballanced for everyone. Beginners get perks quickly, the average gamer has the build he or she desires relative quick together too and the hardcore gamer will always have to do something to get every single perk for every single character. Mentioned that, i think it would not hurt the game if they make it a little bit more easy for us, just a little bit.
How about that: You gain 100% BP for the first match you play a day, and for each additional round you gain +5% until you reach 150% ? (so 2nd game 105% BP, 3rd game 110% BP, 4th game 115% BP etc)
-
@WexlerWendigo said:
There has been literally nothing done in four years to reduce the grind (other than the archive which isn’t great), and it only gets worse every chapter. A million suggestions such as perk tiers being removed, increased BP from each game, letting people choose what perks to unlock, etc have all been suggested to help the grind.
What are they doing? They aren’t even trying out different options, or acknowledging the fact that the grind is bloody ridiculous for new players. It’s gatekeeping.
Because grinding is something, human actually want, maybe even need. Not knowingly, but deep inside their subconscious. It makes us happy to gain something we worked for and we do this as long as we have something to do. As soon as we run out of the grind, our mind will ask for something new.
The devs are smart by not giving us our needs we desire to quickly. Your frustration actually proves that my theory is correct, since you care.
-
I agree and i want to add that devs should also stop releasing one range killer after another.. did they run out of ideas or do they really thing range is what this game is all about?
Same can be said about the new map additions. Its always the same recently. Its either Indoor (Raccoon City, Midwich, Underground Complex) or maps with extremly unsafe pallets and big open areas without anything at all (Saloon, Sanctum of Wrath)

So today as killer I have gotten in this order:

- Deathslinger on Haddonfield - 4k (two straight on my favorite map, thank you game)
- Adept Blight on Rancid Abbitoir - 2k (ok what's up with the ######### hitboxes?)
- Huntress on Midwich - 4k (ruin got destroyed within 10 seconds and it went to end game but thankfully Elodie threw)
- Adept Spirit on Haddonfield - 4k (of course ruthless killer because I can't have anything good)
- Adept Billy on Mother's Dwelling - 2k (gens go too fast on this planet sized map)
- Adept Speed Limiter Bubba on Badham - 4k (I forgot to take this add on off after a previous game and I STILL DIDNT GET ADEPT AFTER 4KING)
- Adept Bubba on The Game - 3k (THERE'S PALLET EVERYWHERE I'M DONE)
So thanks game for making this a fun experience, it means a lot!

Nurse and spirit tournament viable. Everyone else D tier ordered by apparent power level.
I dont agree with that. I might not be the best tournament player and i have not participated in the "Botb" tournament but i have already won tournament games with killers who are not Nurse or Spirit. Also DBD League showcases other killers, and they get kills and even wins aswell.
Also D tier because not viable against the best 0,1%? Nah...

True that 57% is above 50% the average. But in that same chart, they buffed clown, wraith and demo. All 3 are killers who are above nurse in that kill rate. Logic would dictate that they felt those 3 killers were too weak and made changes to them. Thus logic would dictate every killer below wraith (the highest kill rate one that was buffed) must also be underpowered and need a buff.
In our case, it dose not really matter what devs think and do, because we are talking about "our" philosophy off this game and your statement. If we wanna bring this game to an average level, according to the stats, we would be forced to nerf the Nurse, and even more every other killer.
Last but not least i want to add that like i said, it would be much more healthy if hard killers like Nurse would be changed so average players could handle her better and then nerf her. Thats how good ballance work in my opinion - not relying that a killer is to difficult in general - IF we assume we want this game to be for average people.
-
@Reinami said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2332171#Comment_2332171
Incorrect. I'm following the logic here. Here are the stats as they released a while back:
Since these stats were released, the following major changes have happened: Freddy and Billy have been nerfed, Demo, Wraith and clown were buffed. It stands to reason that somewhere between billy and wraith is what they consider to be "balanced" But looking at this nurse is statistically BY FAR the worst killer.
If we are balancing the game around the average players, she needs to be buffed.
Well again... when she is to weak because she is so difficult, she needs to be changed so she is easier to play to fit for the average player.
Said that, 57% is still above average.
-
@Reinami said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2332121#Comment_2332121
No, because in the hands of the average player, nurse is the worst killer in the game. The statistics show that. That is my point. So, by that logic, if we balance the game around the average player instead of the best, we need to buff nurse. If we balance around high level players, nurse is actually fine since her win rate in high levels is still very low. Tournament play shows only 1 or 2 killers are even viable, let alone overpowered.
Well, if this is statisticly the case, then there are 2 things to do: Nerf the Nurse but make her easier to play.

If i have not totally missread your post, i dont get your logic at all.
If we want this game to be ballanced for the average player - then Nurse and Spirit have to get nerfed, since they are to strong for the average player. Top tier killer are ballanced for Top tier survivors. Average killer are ballanced for average survivor. Pretty simply, right?
A decent Spirit is still much stronger then a decent Doctor for example.

Billy an average killer? He used to be a top tier killer before the nerf and he is still strong when played well.
To answer your question, the average killers (which means not too strong but not too weak either, right?) are imo Doctor, Wraith, Ghostface, Plague and probably a few more i dont have in mind right now. Nemesis might be one of them either.

What is ballance in DBD? 2K average? That it "feels" ballanced? (because i think some here confurse stressful with unballanced)
What actually means highest level? Tournament level groups? The average rank 1 solo player? The top 20%?
My opinion: Ballancing a game like this for the top 1% or even Tournament players will never really work, since we have way to many factors to considere: The map sice, RNG factor, the different killers with their very different powers, SWF etc.
What would i do if i was forced to ballance this game for Tournament level:
- Change every map to Coal Tower size/tile spawn.
- Remove RNG factor completly from the game. Pallets and Tiles are always the exact same.
- Every killer gets buffed to a level somewhere between Nurse and PH, at least.
- Voice chat available for solo players.
Does not sound fun, right?
The best way to ballance this game is to acutally keep it how it is and change some things like extreme RNG or nerve some overpowered killers (overpowered for the average/good player). It will never ever be the big tournament game for obvious reasons but it can be a good game for the majority, and this is how it should be!

Jumpscaring the ######### out of people is always fun which is why I main hag and spirit
Fair enough, i like that too, but its for sure not the main reason i play killer. It is a small part of the experience, the chase is in general much more interesting and fun at the same time.. for me at least.

Exactly. The argument "only chases are fun" is entirely subjective. Running around the same pallet for a minute before the survivor uses "dead hard into pallet drop" is not fun and having killers that can stop this with their power is not a bad thing imo
So, if a chase is not fun, what do you enjoy in DbD?
I keep reading this frequently, but i never saw a killer explaining what he enjoys instead.
I as a killer LOVE the chase and i totally understand, when survivors want fair odds in the 1v1 scenario, so do i (that should mean if they are more skilled then the killer, they should last very long)

Like seriously, with the amount of oppressive killers on 1vs1 who just shits on loops like Nemesis or Deathslinger, like why even bother?
Trying to loop just ends with you getting hit, drop a pallet? still get hit, dont? still get hit, windows? same thing, and people wonder why Holding W is a thing....
You are not looping a Slinger. You run in a straight line, you predrop the pallet, you keep running. When he hits you, you do the same again.
The new wave of killers are forcing survivors to play like that, because its the most effective playstyle (to counter for example Slingers 110% and his mid range attack)

They actually requires skill to play against at least, and the Survivor needs to know what he's doing, instead of just running in circles mindless and throwing pallets when the Killer is close.
Some of them are sure hard to play against when the Killer is good, but you are not supposed to win every chase.
They really dont. In fact the survivors play the by far easiest way possible against those type of killers.

I just played a few matches as Killer and in each one Survivors did gens way too fast and showed 0 respect for me
I can't keep up with them and they always seem to have the upper hand. Why? Are Gens too fast? Is Survivor side too easy?
Devs, can you please help Killer be more enjoyable and fair? Maybe something that stops Gens being done too fast would be good.
As an Asperger's guy, i tend to take the strong disrespect kinda personally and it makes me sad and feel like a joke. Does anyone else feel this way?
I can feel your frustration, and to give you one thing: Killer is much more stressful, thats true.. but it is not really harder. In fact, playing solo survivor might actually be more difficult to succeed then playing (any) killer, at least in my opinion.
Also devs are buffing killer side way more then survivor, acutally survivors are getting nerved all the time since years, even tho the Killrate is already very high of the majority of the killer roster.
There is nothing you can really do against the disrespect other then learn and eventually master Nurse, Spirit or Hag. No survivor team, no matter how good they are would serioulsly bm a god tier nurse for example.

You're free to think so.
But, you have no actual proof that majority actually dislikes this certain type of killers. Just from this post you can see more people agreed with me then you (4 upvotes vs 13). Then there are streamers who said some of these killers were unfun and as it so happens, their communites parroted that opinion. And again, those streamer communities aren't in any way proper representation of whole DBD playerbase.
DBD has just recently reached what, 90k players peak. We have exactly 0 data on which killers does the majority of playerbase like or dislike, here on forums it's an extreme fraction of the playerbase.
There was never a full community survey on "which killer you like and dislike" so don't pretend like the opinion you present here is unanimously agreed by a majority of the playerbase.
True, we dont have data. But from what we hear, see and read, and i am sure you come around a bit aswell and therefor probably agree even you wont admit it, Spirt, Deathslinger and PH will take the cake with ease. Needless to say why that is.
I wonder, once most survivirs finally realise how to play against those killers (the very boring way by running straight ahead and pre drop pallets) will killer come here and complain about that? That this is unfun? I bet my money on that for sure.

Nevermind...
I wonder why this is the case 🤔
