Simply because I have to employ a different style of play to “the norm” of looping until the killer gets bored and gives up or you run out of pallets. I don’t enjoy playing against spirit but they do at least make for a different experience to the other 15 killers.
I do hope bhvr puts more killers with different chase styles I do very much enjoy going up against not just nurse but killers that have a unique way of playing. With the gen speed there is so little room for killers to be playing around but I really think variety can be healthy for the game.

The hook Charms so far are underwhelming but I see potential. I wish Charms did something more though.

My friend's trying to play Doctor a bit lately, and he keeps having problems switching back and forth between modes; the amount of time for which L2 needs to be held down is too long to be intuitive. It's poor design.
I know that's not the question, but it's an observation about the Doctor. I've noticed that inexperienced Doctors will stay in Treatment mode longer than they should, making it easy to keep out of their reach in a chase. They probably don't realize it's slower. This game doesn't do a good job of teaching players its mechanics.
Polished electrode is one of his best add-ons and I hope it goes to his base kit. It's the right amount of charge to switch back and forth fluidly.
-
I play doctor because I like his laugh. I'm not farming lol I enjoy giggling. The animation stun lock is actually really effective as is. I will be sad to see him nerfed or changed where he won't giggle.
The skill checks will probably be changed before his power is. They are looking at survivor gameplay when making changes and some doctors can really bm the hell out of survivors.
-
When I see a survivor they are my obsession. Don't care my real obsession is don't care what season or map or offerings whoever i see is going to die. The only escape is escape if you all escape it takes like 2 minutes to try try again.
If the survivors weren't toxic weren't very good were very good and overall I feel victorious then I well let survivors get there sense of victory as well.
-
Yes especially if I've made like all the hook saves. In the end bp is the real goal.

Haddonfield so killers stop sending me back to forever queues.

By far, my favorite to go up against. His add ons can be really rough but in the off chance that you get a billy that is learning pallets and mind gaming with you. There is a really good chance the chase fills you with anxiety. A billy that runs after you after slugging is downright terrifying.
If I hear that chainsaw at the start of the match, I am just happy.

Creeper as killer plz

As a killer I refuse to fit into a mold. As a leather face I absolutely refuse to conform. I am not a complete douche. I am pretty empathetic at times but phrases like you shouldn't do a certain thing don't register when I'm trying to be a maniacal killer.

Excluding nurse, hag and huntress, I think survivor has a higher skill ceiling than a lot of killers. My reasoning for this is, in low ranks killers usually destroy survivors excluding the really high skill cap ones but in high ranks survivors start doing a lot better while killers like nurse, hag, huntress and spirit start doing better but the competition is still strong.
Basically, I think a lot of killers have limited skill ceilings when it comes to their powers, mind games, patrol routes and other parts of playing killer are usually harder to learn than a power but survivors seem to be gaining chase, anti mind game, gen repair and overall strategy skills indefinitely. In conclusion, I feel like survivor has a higher skill cap than a lot of the killers, feel free to debate this if you think otherwise.
This is why lower tier killers keep falling to the wayside. The ceiling can be quite low.

When you're in a solo queue and everyone blocks the hook to save a survivor on death hook

New perks should be a tap to activate perk like dead hard but it makes you do a juke.
More perks for covering a injured teammate should be implemented. I'm all for a perk that allows injuries to automatically apply to survivors who want to take a hit for someone. But they need to be like on top of them like at the hook standing still or something like that.
Third perk should be something that brings quality of life like if all survivors are injured healing becomes faster.

Bill; if the killer don't get him lung cancer will. Come out and support poor Bill everybody.

I really appreciate someone saying this, because it's extremely frustrating when one person or more disconnect, for the survivors but also the killer. What bothers me most is when the killer hasn't even done anything, but the survivors disconnect anyways just because of who the killer chose to play. I often see them disconnecting for no reason, they just met a nurse, a spirit or the legion and disconnect. Instead of just dcing they should learn to counter these killers in the first place
I was playing as leather face and found a Meg at my ruin at the start of the match. DC. It's really hard not to laugh at some of the disconnects honestly. I tend to go into a match not really tryharding. A DC usually means the rest of us is going to have a really fun time honestly if I'm killer.
-
Some survivors do an assessment before they DC. And DC to signify to everyone else that they are the ones that are garbage. Sad but true.
Some survivors blame game performance and lag to their downfall and think the killer didn't have to earn the satisfaction of hooking them, bming them etc.
Some survivors are just having and bad time and the quickest way to stop the bleeding is to hit the power button.
Will bhvr be able to stop the DC? I don't think so.

Maybe playing Killer isn't for you or the people posting in this thread then?
I find Survivor more stressful and antifun. As Killer, I never have to worry about having 3 sacks of potatoes as my allies, I don't have to worry about my misplay screwing over allies, and I never ever have to be worried about being reduced to a hook warmer by a hard camper or tunneler.
Killers get to be constantly on the move and can control what type of match the match will be. I can try hard and kill a weak link off quickly or leave them slugged to show some empathy. Usually I feel I can control how the match will go down. Where as Solo Survivor, I'm more at the mercy of my allies and the killer. If he/she decides to camp/tunnel for quick kills and even just one of my allies feeds this by going f or the save and speeding up the sacrifice... the game is likely a hatch game. And if the Killer has the advantage there as well, so they will very likely slug the last two players till they find the hatch to deny any chance of escape.
I mean how much easier do you want the game to be in 97% of the matches? The Survivors spawn in the basement with exposed status effect and Ebony mori is default? The game has only gotten easier for Killers over the last year or two.
To top off what you said killer can not be killed. Killer can also moonwalk to relieve loads of stress.

Is there? I've been deliberately letting the last survivor go during double bloodpoints.
And then getting hit with "ez noob killer".
You gotta let those scrubs know without a doubt what deliberate looks like

It shouldn't be player's job to provide fun gameplay but rather it is up to developers to design their game with "fun" gameplay in mind as the one being more optimal.
So when killer chases a survivor which then runs to the other survivor on the hook and unhooks in your face without borrowed time you would expect killer to not down and rehook that poor farmed dude and and the same time killers would expect survivors not to finish gens with record times while crouching around the map corners as it is not really fun gameplay.
This game sadly has many unwritten rules which stem from sometimes horrible design flaws but we have to deal with it until devs do something about it other then add YET ANOTHER PERK that is supposed to deal with a game problem instead of changing the base game for everyone.
Is it the devs job to make everyone happy with murder?

You can run up against some toxic killers if you flashlight save. That's for sure.

Far too many exploits combined with toxic personas that take all the fun out of the game.

I like to say gg at the end of every match because we're all playing and keeping dbd alive while, for the most part, playing very well.

I went up against rank 1 iri head huntress with pop ruin iron maiden and discordance with a ebony mori on swamp map. Needless to say first person DC'd and no gens got done. The only way out is hatch. Force survivors onto gens and you guarantee 4K to toxic builds

Unfortunately I play on PS4. That's probably WHY the game has a lot of killers like that. PS4 games with online play tend to bring out the worst in people. I have had very few games where a killer doesn't play dirty, and most of the ones where the killer isn't a dick is farming and I don't always want games like that. I prefer games where either side could win and the killer isn't being an ass. The ones that were good though were really good. One guy added me because I was so good to my teammates despite us all dying, that he thought I was in a SWF group, and we played SWF quite a few games. Haven't seen him online in a while sadly so still back to bad games because I'm solo.

In mariokart there are cliffs that you can drive off before blue shell tumbles you around, and when you get dropped back on course there is a speedboost

What I am disappointed at is that the info that you give us is not very clear or helpful.
I mean, you announced that the event would take place on the 22nd with the mid-chapter 3.3.0. Now the info is that the event won't take place tomorrow, it will be with the mid patch (which I repeat was supposedly going to take place tomorrow). So what we should assume is that tomorrow the mid patch won't take place. It's not very hard to say: "The event and the patch won't take place tomorrow. Both are delayed, we will give you more info on the next hours" or something like that. It would help us not be as disappointed as we are.
Next time please, be clear with the info that you are adressing, don't make us the players make all the assumptions like this for example: https://twitter.com/PaulieEsther1/status/1186395057219362817?s=20
I wish for more clarity on this kind of issues. Again we understand you can encounter issues that need to be fixed, and in order to do that you need some time, but please be clear with the information that you give us. Thank you anyway for the updates.
Cheers
I second this. Even your fog whisperers were excited for the big 22ND mid chapter update.

To be fair there actually is very easy counterplay to the blue shell. Just let someone pass you slightly.
Or drive off edge right before

Thought I could just jump right into hillbilly play with no perks addons or experience.

I t-bag at the very end of a long ass tunnel in order to boost the killer and change tactics.

Lagging skill checks if the killer blows a fart in your direction. Survivors able to disconnect entire match if the pull some PS4 menu crap. Fps lower than my enthusiasm after getting hard camped countless matches in a row. Console is great.

To play Devil's Advocate, survivors would abuse this information and dodge lobbies because they don't like the build their teammates are running.
"Why aren't you guys running DS/BT/Adrenaline???" *Leaves lobby*
"Ew, a Self Care/Urban Evasion/No Mither user? N00b!" *Leaves lobby*
It's a great idea on paper, especially because I'm a solo survivor myself, but I can assure you more than a few people would behave this way.
Good riddance I say

Don't know if anyone else has experienced the survivors disconnecting the killer on PS4 but I have been on both sides of that bullcrap

I sympathise though.
Sure Small Game is niche, but very few other killers can experience this kind of castration of their ability via just one perk, and in this poor Trappers case, all 4 survivors running it.
Calm Spirit is niche but that can completely screw a Doc player over.
My point is there shouldn’t be survivor perks in the game that if fortunate to be matched up with a particular killer pretty much equates to a free pass for the survivor.
Small Game should be adjusted to just totem detection.
Maybe confer the trap detection ability to Slippery Meat, albeit with a token counter like Distortion where it can only detect a limited amount of times.
There are quite a few players myself included that will bring a perk in the off chance of ever facing the killer. Trapper was annoying to me at one point and small game was like a comforting perk that allowed me to practice adjusting my game and not be so annoyed by trapper anymore.
I disagree there should be low tier hard counter perks for the new players and the old that just want a perk to do a certain thing that they want to not deal with.
