Since the perk balance change update I have noticed a significant growth in power in the end game towards killer who bring in 1 hit down killers, perks and add ons. DS used to have play in these high risk high reward scenarios and NOED used to even out the playing field if DS UB was in play. There are players that take the lethal stuff in a match to attack others then there are players that keep the stuff in their back pocket for the opportune moment. Alot of the former is what I hate most about bad matchmaking. I am a bit confused as to why perks are being created and sold that can be used against the buyer with the simple equip of a perk. I do believe the design space of the current perks upcoming with the resident evil chapter is completely axed by the existence of lightborn. Here is my simple idea on a lightborn rework. Doctor Hill as killer when he downs a survivor and they are on death hook he can mori them and re-animate their corpse. Survivors can control their re-animated corpse but only if they maintain control of their head. Killer and survivor can attack the re-animation and possess the head. I play on ps4 Wi-Fi and on several occasions my Wi-Fi has had moments where the game registers me as having disconnected. But I am still able to view the whole game as if I am not disconnected. But now I have a window that says I am not able to play without a connection and a prompt to leave. I think it would be a great idea if instead of thumbs up other players we could gift 4-5K blood points to the player that had a bad match or one that impressed you. This way the former is more incentivized to not DC so easily and the latter is more incentivized to continue playing when people DC. There is a player on PS4 that day in and day out will hook bomb in front of killer without borrowed time and killer will without hesitation will kill the survivor being hook bombed. No longer are my survivor queues on PS4 10+ minutes long. But, clearly, I am being matched way below my skill level. I don't mind the brain dead survivors because I'm no longer falling asleep while trying to get into a game. Did the new skill based matchmaking go live? What will it take to get some good teammates? The Nerf to ruin means it cannot be stacked on your stack that stacks the odds in your favor. Stop crying about the icing changing flavors, you still have alot to work with. What is your devotion, what level are you, and how long did it take you to get there? Because as long as it doesn't mean anything in game at least we can brag about it. The pig, the trapper, the hag, the doctor, the clown(though this may make him extra wheezy), the cannibal, and more need more speed. A simple burst of speed at one or two moments in the match would be perfect. Kind of like how spirit fury has maybe one or two moments in every match. By thrilling I mean you hardly ever over outplay them. They forever keep you on your toes. They can strike at any moment. The map pressure is locked down alot. Just rough all around whether you have good teammates or not. I find in most of my solo queues, at rank one in particular, that swf teams have hidden agendas that usually come to light as you are dying. Like hatch escapes or farming. You start the match as the caretaker, Jack Torrence. You switch to other ghosts via a weapon wheel-like hub. Ghost 1: the twins- they phase blink similar to nurse however there is a much shorter charge and no Cooldown and no transition animation viewable to survivors. I have a simple suggestion that adds more quality of life to the game in a scenario where a killer just wipes the floor with the whole lobby. If all survivors are hooked in a dying state, a rank 1 player who queues up for a match with a key offering has a chance to spawn out of the hatch, using the key and the hatch game is no longer in play unless it's down to 1 survivor again.
