He can Dash under pallets multiple times, so it doesn't really matter if you drop it
He forces you to play EVERY pallet for a stun
Laughable when the best counterplay is erased with the og perk enduring. I play so little DBD anymore because I can't get out of my head how interactive chases used to be. Holding w and leaving the area before killer gets there is just boring gameplay but so very required with much of the new content.
-
Killer has the ability to end a players session so game balance should always prioritize survivor.
Survivor is the more skilled role based solely on the fact that survivor must know every killers mechanics while most killers only need to know their own mechanic and map layout.
Blight is fun and balanced.
-
Buying a character for a perk only for the perk to change into garbage and not being refunded for what you just moments ago bought is unfair.
Solo queue teammates using bond empathy to track and sandbag you to team with killer and not having anything to counter it is unfair.
Bringing a flashlight and losing the flashlight in a match that the killer brought lightborn is unfair.
-
The first asymm game that kills the pregame lobby will be the true one.

If I'm feeling a bit alpha: Meg
If I'm feeling a bit beta: Dwight
-
Why I personally play female over male: Sally from the original Texas chainsaw massacre. I first saw this movie in my teens and her performance resonates with me still to this day so much so that I long for those clutch moments in horror games.
-
I get it if there are 2 survivors left and the killer slugs me because the other survivor is around and got found close to me. I have absolutely 0 issues with that. What sucks is when the instigator of prolonging an inevitable demise goes to the forums to farm for sympathy for being inconvenienced with a prolonged slug out time.

Thanks, I was gonna try Chainsaw Massacre for the first time as it seems a lot of people are enjoying it!
and I'm probably gonna come back as soon as things get fixed as I really love dbd since it has a lot of my favorite killers in-game
but it sucks that they're releasing heavy survivor nerfs as I know I'm not the best player because I struggle in doing big brain gameplay or loops but I guess when they released the fix for fast vault it felt proper and good because before I sucked at doing fast vaults at windows because killers hit me even after I exited the window fully but having that window fix made it easier for me to actually do better loops but now I can't even attempt to jump out of a window without getting hit or downed
If you're looking at Texas chainsaw massacre for quicker seamless vaulting, look elsewhere. It is a slough and most pc killers already have their attack button on a macros so to survive in that game you must avoid at all costs unless you're Ana or Leland then it's help your teammates or die with them. Matches are half the fun in half the speed of DBD matches and if you lead a great chase without comms be prepared to get left to die more often than in DBD.
-
Any killer that deletes fun and interaction from chase needs a rework. Chase drives fun in asymmetrical horror games. But if fun for killer is to delete fun for survivor then bhvr need change nothing.
-
Anyone who thinks tcm is the dawn on of a new age is naive. But it's good to see some bhvr competition join the fray.
-
Bored with the meta? No,
Doing gens needs more than the occasional skill check while I rotate my camera. It's the weakest part of DBD and not a lot of players want to do this anymore. Everyone wants to be chased or to rescue. But the cost of everyone wanting this means everyone is bored on gens or just doesn't do them.
-
Whispers, overcharge, noed, bitter murmer are good starting perks but a few good perks to unlock from other killers would be brutal strength from trapper, save the best for last from Myers, enduring from hillbilly, BBQ and chili from Leatherface, and pop goes the weasel from clown.
Add ons that decrease time to charge electric discharge are the best.
It's not important to kill everyone in the match so don't focus on everyone in the match just 2 or 3.
Play survivor with bond to see the ebb and flow of your fellow survivors. There's almost always one person on generator when a survivor goes up on hook. If you can get good at stopping that survivor while also eliminating survivors then congrats you're on your way to DBD mastery.
Have fun. Do not get caught up with the meta you will only find pain and suffering.
-
Maybe he had a ritual.
-
Hillbilly: how do I live without you, Trisha yearwood.
-
Deliverance is bad on its own but busted with perks that help you avoid the first few hooks. Distortion comes to mind.
Deliverance is also busted with perks with help in chase, if you are good in chase or if you actively seek out chase at the right moment.
-
Never see billy and when I do the map is unbalanced for one side or the other and my team just rushes to go next. RIP billy
-
Price of traps should scale up based on distance planted near each other. I'm glad I get to leave kill room raid bases without much penalty but is ignoring the problem going to stop the problem?

I'm Loling because if anyone is "Quiting DbD" or "I'm leaving DbD for good".....why announce it. I never did a huge announcement when I stopped playing DbD.
It's one thing to let out steam and saying your grievances about the game, the path it's taking, etc.....but saying I'm leaving DbD and then saying I don't care about your opinions in a PUBLIC DISCUSSION forum is more akin to wanting attention rather than saying goodbye forever.
Oh I thought the op was copy pasta I just came to talk to the forum members that have pent up unheard opinions.
-
Items and add ons especially when swf is concerned are the most unbalanced games that bore me to death as survivor and killer you just learn to write those games off which leads to question what is the purpose for either side really.
Let's not forget the daily rituals and "challenges" that call on you to bring the garbage in. Yes the killer downed a survivor 4 times and killer only got a hook or two at the beginning because I was sabotaging. I felt terrible but if I delete the ritual there is such a high chance of getting a killer ritual that I will never be bothered to do.
There's the argument to not use the item to it's full benefit just sabo random hooks and be done with it but let's dissect that for a minute. I waste my time not doing gens and my team dies for it. After all my games become this way I'm notorious for not doing anything useful and no one goes into a match with me or worse I get the same level of treatment.
This could all be remedied or made to be less agrigious by being able to bypass challenges and rituals without the fear of having to do a more obnoxious ritual or challenge. And just deleting the ability to bring the stuff in if you are in a party.

I know it's not funny, but this post really did make me laugh out loud
Oh it's funny only to those fresh eyes that can see the humor in it but six months ago this is the same behaviour that sent me on my break. Breaks help but in the end, with no internal community health boost from developers this stuff just gets real old real fast. Personally I'm glad the community as well as I can still lol though.
-
This game needs a system in place that places players with less than 100 hours in a queue of their own. As well as a system that allows players to give each other commendations.
The game needed this over a year ago.
Not a community issue.
-
After a six month break I came back to spirit pretend humping my slugged cartoon character after having bled everyone dry in round 1. Round 2 spirit was farming. There's fun to be had in between there somewhere.
-
Legion taught me how to keep my distance but also be there for my teammates. I still can't believe the poor folks still healing against legion. Common phrases under my breath in legion a games,
"Ok yes I'll heal you but keep your grubby paws off me and do the gen."
"I'll see your health state and raise you 5 windows and pallets in our direct line of sight."
-
Not soon enough. Which was way before killer buff. Too late I'm over it is how I will feel when nurse is being looked at because by the time that happens there will be a slew of other things that have been left unchecked and overused in matches disregarded by bhvr because there was a DC in the match and/or still no consistent way for the community to relay it's feedback about said issues.
-
If the notches on the screws of your gaming chair are pointed east and west, you just game better.

Or you could continue to play and enjoy a game of DBD even if you don’t escape because of an early dc.
You know, like a grown up might do.
Noone can enjoy DBD against cheaters and lethal nurse. Let's face it this is the majority of disconnects at 5 gens.

...just to try and spite the negative here...
Make the thumbs up button give extra bp or shards would help Abit both for moral and newer players.
Make the thumbs up do anything other than what it currently does would be net worth.

I'd love to see a test weekend where it's disabled, like the bloodlust test they did however long ago that was.
Maybe the aim dressing actually is helping invisibly in a lot of areas we just don't notice, but I doubt it. It really seems like it does far more harm than good.
Agreed.
-
A perfect add on for flashlights is if you have not blinded the killer for the entire match you don't lose the flashlight on death. Hell why not make that base?
-
Log in to check if my killer dailies are still holding my survivor dailies in limbo, check. Log out.
-
Why doesn't Lightborn refund the flashlights yet?? Last second swaps being in the game as a counter to item, perk nullification needs to change. Enough with the obnoxious workarounds that hamper the health of this party game.
-
As survivor default Laurie's with no prestige are the easiest dodges of my life.
As killer coordinated names signifying swf easy dodge as well.
-
And if the bait isn't taken what do you do, slug? Fake tunnelling is tunnelling, just dressed up with dirt and time wasted.
-
Imagine saying 3+ years ago, " swf is the reason we can't have nice things." and still expecting nice things with no change to swf.
-
I don't play killer anymore. Too much to manage, not enough reward for the stress involved. I can't imagine a killer going in and worrying about the survivors fun. Any killer that does that must be prone to injury irl.
-
Yeah it's to the point where I can only play towards the beginning of the day and I have to stop playing when the survivors aren't even trying. Been playing less but strange enough am burnt out more than ever.
-
Bhvrs silence towards it's community while posting topics in a way that says "things are fine over here" is growing more more concerning to me as a gamer with a foot out the door already.
-
The question is far beyond is bhvr doing anything to limit the hackers. The question is is my hardware and ip safe while playing this videogame?
-
As survivor a pip up is a win. If my pips are max then if any survivors escape I count it as a win.
As killer I don't look at kills as wins because that just leads to prioritizing one person. I look at it this way did I out play survivors in positioning did I box them in? Did I apply pressure? If all these are no then total loss. If they are yes then I win and in the process got some kills.
Losses are much more cut and dry. Is the killer or survivors being obnoxious? Loss. Is the killer getting outplayed and disconnects? Loss. Did I just waste my time loading in for a Myers to spawn on all of us and kill us 1 minute total? Loss.
-
Yet? This was day one. Do I notice a difference in experience depending on prestige? Yes! The community can now avoid the hassle of being sandbagged by the less experienced based on the hovering number. It seems dumb but the console globes we're there to do so before. Imo they should both be hidden and players names as well. All of it. Just adds to the bias and it needs to be changed.

Survivors would move on to the next thing to complain about probably Twins
Next is blight. Tier lists are just waiting lists for balance priority. Or in bhvrs case completely ignored even when perks and meta shifts power creep them into infamy.
-
Played against enough bubba's to know that you just die if you go down against them. If you can throw a pallet then you do so. Greeding anything will earn you a swift exit.
Would I rather play a bubba instead of a nurse, spirit, pyramid head, nemesis? Yes all day everyday because I can throw pallets and jump windows and play the game albeit for whatever little time there is to do so before bloodlust outgamers me.
-
Clown but I hate is power on both sides. The power is just boring and visually obnoxious. For the longest time I've wanted him with a more imaginative and entertaining power.
This can be said for most killers by the way I just like the clowns lore and aesthetics.
-
Dear bhvr, 61 percent killrate means nothing when a significant amount players just weren't there to contribute to the count. Not including the number of players that dropped off leaves a gap in your numbers.
-
Nurse needs to be balanced. As a killer that has little to no counter if you've managed to slap her with a pallet your reward is a swift slap to the ground. You need to be able to stun this monster. How has this been in this game unchecked for so long?
Furthermore look at her recharge to accommodate the overall recovery given to all killers. She needed balance before the buffs now it's just hopeless.
-
Wdym? If you don't escape and/or don't pip this just means you don't die of boredom getting rid of bp in bloodweb hell. In death you are winning you just need to think ahead.
-
Pub stomper bc the obsession hides. Swf no problems.
-
3 and 4 gens on some maps are impossible to do in some solos where some survivors just don't know. The whole team is doomed if a survivor loops there the whole time. Killers know it, experienced survivors know it ,bhvr knows it. Survivors don't want to die, killers don't want to relent, it's an arm wrestling match and bhvr refuses to address the problem of gens being too close to one another.
Some maps are too small some maps are too big 3 and 4 gens can spawn on most of them and all it takes is one survivor with no game sense to tank the whole thing. Gens need to be more along the outside alot like the swamp has them. There's just no other way and until then suffer the the repurcussions of taking advantage of or not paying mind to imbalanced map layout/game design oversight.
-
Technician should go into cool down when a skill check is missed.
Buckle up should show killer and survivors auras near downed survivors.
Premonition should show the auras of nearby hooks for the duration of the cool down when you look towards a killer.
-
I sometimes wish the entity would come and kill us all if there was no progress.
